Morning Daisies! And welcome Joyce and rt!

Good lord! Torture! Just home from work and I am slathering from bacon envy! EVERY.SINGLE.RECIPE. sounds so darned good!

nitsirk - Took me so long to figure it out - but I am so darned happy to hear from you! (((((())))))

AP - I don't know what you were saying about who e-mailed you for hints. However, your response? You are magnificent.

Margaret - To answer your question re: Nurses Day, um not really here.

Deb - that has happened to me twice, since I flew back and forth for work with my very young son for several years. I am enraged that this is still happening!

Ya'll have a wonderful day - I am hobbling off to bed :-D

Anonymous said...

So the new neighbor wants to know what we intend on doing with the tree? He did not know that the old owner suing us for $2500...

T@iy@ said...

When do you do all of that and get it over with, Margaret? Is it soon so you can get her nonsense out of the way?

. said...

Morning Ladies! I'm too lazy to go catch up. Anything important I need to know since yesterday morning?

T@iy@ said...

Okay, apparently DD is *now officially done eating lunch. :) Later Daisies.

Anonymous said...

The court date is soon and I will be happy when that's over. I don't imagine that she'll show up given that she sold the house but we'll see. She sued the other neighbor too so we'll all be there together :)

Shannon said...

HMMM so what happens if she doesnt show Margaret? Maybe you can explain to the new neighbor that the old owner is whacked out that is why nothing has been done with it yet.

Regina Phalange said...

I'm really happy to see it's somewhat "business" as usual around here. I must admit, I'm guilty of reading that fwop blog. The whole thing is ridiculous. You know what it reminds me of, remember that blog 'The truth about Beccah Beushausen' or whatever it was called, where that woman dug up every. single. thing. possible about that girl. It was completely obsessive. That's what this fwop gang is up to, it's really strange.

. said...

If everyone would quit clicking on FWOP, she'd stop posting stuff. This is all a big game to her, she gets some sick pleasure from making people squirm. Block the site from your computer if you have to!

Regina Phalange said...

.A Rat Notamole

I'm making a vow, here and now, to quit looking at that garbage.

I did note, however, that whoever it may be claims to have all this fabulous information, yet keeps posting updates on how many hits theyr'e getting. It's bologna.

. said...

Good! I'm gonna hold you to that! ;o)

What's worse is that she's making money off of people reading there! Even more of a reason to not click, right?

Angie said...

How do you block a site from your computer? That's a great idea!

Okay, I think Regina Phalange is either Jill or Robin. Though I kind of think A Rat is Robin, because of the lazy comment. ;-) 'Fess up!

Margaret, I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't remember the "root" (no pun intended) of the tree dispute. Did your tree fall and do damage, or what?

Anonymous said...

Shannon - if she doesn't show up it gets dismissed. The renter we are friends with said that she has done this before because she likes to inconvenince people.

Regina Phalange said...

I'm not Jill or Robin. I used to participate, though not very much. Then I lurked a bit, posting once and a while, when fwop came on the scene I was posting under Encyclopedia Brown, but when I saw Anastasia Beaverhausen I *had* to go to my favorite alter ego!

tumbleweedgirl said...

*pouts*

i am still trying to come up with a fun alter-ego

*sigh*

twirldawg said...

Not Regina. Sorry I didn't think of it first frankly ;)

Lisa said...

I've redeemed myself from the nitsirk fiasco. I knew who .A RAT Notamole was immediately!

Regina Phalange said...

I'm a *HUGE* Friends fan and my favorite was when Phoebe used Regina Phalange as her French alter ego. The one where Phoebe tried to teach Joey French, classic. Man, I wish I was at home having a Friends marathon right now, but truth be told, if I were at home I'd probably be doing some sort of chore. No rest for the weary, right?

Anonymous said...

SW, et al - the tree fell in January. I called our ins company and they said clean up your side she cleans up her side.

We cleaned up our side - one of her renters cut up the tree on her side but left it in the yard. About a month ago we get a letter from her saying she's taking us to court over the tree. Then we get served and out neighbor gets served too.

Now, we find out she actually sold the house last week. Good times :)

Anonymous said...

I refuse to post under an alias - I'm living outloud damn it!

Amy said...

Hey there.

. said...

I'mnot trying to hide very well. Ha! :o)

SW: This is how I was told to block sites.

-Control Panel

-Internet Options

-Security

-Restricted Sites
At restricted sites, click on the "Sites" tab and you can add the URL for FWOP there.
Then click Save or Done (I can't remember which it is) and you should be all set.

*Sings Smelly Cat for Regina*

. said...

Hi Pat! I like your.... belt.

Amy said...

thanks, Rat! I like your cheese.

. said...

I'm not sharing.

Sorry.

It's quiet here today. Where is everyone?

Amy said...

That's ok, I'm a little lactose in tolerant anyway. Not sure where everyone is...probably farming.

Shannon said...

LOL I am trying my damnedest to find some motivation somewhere but I think it left. I will blame it on my brother who texted me a wonderful picture of my nephew but he seems to forget that while it may be 8:30 in Maine it is still only 5:30 in Oregon

. said...

I'm going to go find some newspaper to shred, make a nest and take a nap.

Angie said...

Regina, welcome back.

Jill, Ha!

Margaret, that's crazy! I can't believe the neighbor wasted time and money filing a lawsuit like that. The law is clearly on your side. Or that's what I would remember from law school, had I ever been to law school, which I definitely have not.

Angie said...

Robin, LOL re the shredded newspaper nap!

Deb said...

I'm here, just working! Trying not to fall asleep post-lunch.

Regina Phalange said...

SW, thanks.

Maybe I was Regina once before, many boards ago....

Angie said...

I can't believe I don't remember Phoebe trying to teach Joey French. I LOVE Friends! And I am such a Monica! Do you remember the episode where Phoebe wanted to help at the birthday party, but control freak Monica would only let her be in charge of cups and ice? Loved that one.

Robin in Montana said...

Regina is Robin (2)? I get so confused ...

twirldawg said...

I love "Friends".

Erin said...

Hi .A Rat!
I have been plodding along on my to do list. Fun, fun, fun times here! Switching out the girls clothes. ugh. That is one of the *worst jobs.

Regina Phalange said...

Must get some work done now, I'll came back and chat this afternoon, my productivity goes *WAY* down in the afternoons, must be the lunch slump or something. :)

Regina Phalange said...

SW- Phoebe got a million different cups and dry ice! I'm telling you, the BF and I pretty much quote Friends every day. Friendophiles here :0

Regina Phalange said...

Last post.

SW, my secret wish is one day there's a Friends DVD available with all the Thanksgiving episodes. I'd watch every Thanksgiving and it would become our family tradition. Nerdy, right?

Deb said...

I love Friends too, I loved when Ross dressed up as an armadillo.

tumbleweedgirl said...

aw, el

i LOVE switching out the clothes. i think it's fun. but i'm strange. then again, the long sleeved clothes never get put away out here. they are even appropriate mid-summer

Regina Phalange said...

DEB! "I'm the Hoilday Armadillo!"

Classic! I could not work and talk about Friends all day!

Deb said...

Erin - the clothes switch out kills.me. I still have a little pile on a chair from the fall in the girls bedroom.

Robin in Montana said...

I love when Joey and Chandler get into a fight, Chandler hides all Joey's underwear and Joey puts on all Chandler's clothes. Commando. lol.

Deb said...

RP - They had that as a Christmas card with sound from Hallmark a couple of years ago - I was laughing so hard in the store I was crying, so I bought 2 - one for my dad and one for my sister. She gets it out every year so we can listen to it. Good times!

Shannon said...

OK I think I give up today :) I think the only way I will find any kind of motivation is if I give in to my body and take a nap.....It is ok though because it is still technically morning here :)

Deb said...

I loved when they got Joey and Chandler got the lazy boy recliners and refused to get up for anything...so funny!

tumbleweedgirl said...

shannon

naps are the secret to power! go get a nap. (:

Deb said...

<------shoving some motivation to Shannon across the country

Deb said...

Lord, I can't type.

Robin in Montana said...

Shannon - I was up at 5:30 today, too, for the gym. And then Kelly took the day off to go on a field trip with his oldest, which got canceled since it's apparently still December here, so he's been rattling around the house bugging the crap out of me all day. I have motivation, I just can't *do anything.

Muliebrity said...

Regina Phalange, Do we know each other?

Erin said...

Rhys- It is just one of those things that seems to take me forever. It takes a ton of time, and looks like nothing else has been done!

Trudy said...

I'm making jewelry.. getting ready for art fairs. =)

tumbleweedgirl said...

and el,

for you it takes longer. you've got 2 girls. that's more work for sure.

Muliebrity said...

OK, Rough morning!

Hunter (the 2 y/o) decides that along with his 2 weeks of green waterfalls coming out of his nose, he was finally going to start with a fever. He was just over a 100 when I made him a docs appt. We got there about an hour later and it was up to 102, he was lethargic, and complaining his belly hurt. He fell asleep while the doc was examining him. He has a sinus infection and a throat thingy. They fax an RX to Walgreens and they say 30 mins. Then, Hunter starts puking all over himself in the car. I call and ask Walgreens to hook me up with a fast time since my child was marinating in puke. They sign and make a clicking noise and say they will TRYYYYYY to get it done faster.

Muliebrity said...

Oh, and "Into the Wild" really pissed me off. Men are so selfish.

Erin said...

Deb- shove some my way. Motivation that is.

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I can no longer speak to you. ::snaps gum and tosses ponytail:::

tumbleweedgirl said...

o mulie

yuck, gross, and annoyin! did the actually help you out? that was so rude of them.

Angie said...

Ditto re yuck, gross and annoyin!

Ditto men are so selfish!

Anonymous said...

I'l guess... Regina Phalange are you cupcake?

I <3 Friends. I know some episodes by heart. I love the one with the Unagi. Awesome.

I pray for a Friends' reunion every day :P

Muliebrity said...

"yuck, gross, and annoyin! did the actually help you out? that was so rude of them."

That would be a negative. I think next time I will drag him puked soaked self into the store with me and let him lay there crying in the bottom of the shopping cart.

Muliebrity said...

Robin, What was so great about that movie (I mean, besides the hot guy that starred in it)? The main character was so selfish! After all the emotional turmoil he caused in so many lives, I thought the ending was very fitting. Poor little rich boy from a broken home. Wahhhhh! Jerk.

Muliebrity said...

Oh, and May the 4th be with you!

Regina Phalange said...

Mulie- Well, I've been around for awhile, if that helps :)

Corinne, not cupcake. UNAGI! I, too, plray for a Friends reunion, movie, anything. My BF was seriously depressed when it went off the air, kind of pathetic, I know, but he would not get out of bed after the final episode! I also pray that Jen and Brad may one day get back together, I know it can't happen now, but I felt a personal loss when they split up :P

I'm working on being productive, but it's too much fun to chat.

Alright everyone, who was one of your favorite guest stars on Friends?

AHHH! Danny Devito as the stripper! Bwahahaha! And George Clooney and Noah Wylie as the hunky doctors! Me-ow!

tumbleweedgirl said...

i have not read or watched into the wild b/c as a hiker it irritates me that he died b/c he didn't take a map.

it was stupid of him. sorry.

i am a wild child, i've gone and done some crazy solitary hikes. but i was careful. i know things can happen, it just irritates me that he could have found help with a map.

Regina Phalange said...

"May the 4th be with you."

Bwahahaha!

Regina Phalange said...

My mom said the same thing about Into the Wild, it pissed her off that he would do that to his parents, so selfish. I haven't seen it.

Deb said...

My favorite guest star? Tom Selleck, hands down.

Anonymous said...

RP - Danny DeVito was awesome as the stripper!

I also liked Brad Pitt as Will Colbert, Monica's ex-obese friend. And Christina Applegate and Reese Witherspoon were great as Rachel's sisters!

Erin said...

RP- Bok?

Anonymous said...

Corinne - isn't it time for bed yet?

EL - I'm still watching you and noticed you've not done much with the clothes...

Muliebrity said...

I don't know if he died the same way in the book as he did in the movie, but in the movie he lived in a school bus during an Alaskan winter and died because he ate a stink weed or a poison apple or something like that. Yawn. What a dummy. And, of course, he realized what a jack off he was, right before he was set to go home. Blah, blah, blah.

Regina Phalange said...

OoOoOohhh, I love me some Brad Pitt.

"My two worst enemies complex carbohydrates and Rachel Green."

and

"No need to point, she knows who Ross is."

Anonymous said...

Mulie - I love the way you express your thoughts :)

Regina Phalange said...

EL- What's a "bok?"

Deb said...

Bok = is there a chicken in here?

Erin said...

RP- whoops, sorry!

Margaret- kiss my ass. I am *done the clothes, and am eating lunch before I empty the catboxes and mow the grass. Ha. I will be out back if you want to get out of the car and have a beer!

Muliebrity said...

Is that a good thing, Margaret? lol

Anonymous said...

RP - I love those lines, too!

Margaret - It's 8.30 pm. I rarely go to bed before 11 or 11.30. Hehe. ;D

Anonymous said...

It's a very good thing Mulie.

EL - I'm not in the car anymore - I've been mobile for hours!

Mulie- my husband called a little bit ago. he was laughing so hard he could not tell the story very well.

Regina Phalange said...

Dang, those tasers scare me y'all.

Melissa said...

I wanna guess too....RP=BJ=Molly??

Regina Phalange said...

Melissa, nope. You have to go *waaay* back. I was real active on OHIH. Like I said, I haven't been active much at all here, just a handful of postings.

Muliebrity said...

RP=Heather?

Melissa said...

Oh. I suck at these guessing games!

Melissa said...

RP=Shana?

Regina Phalange said...

Mulie, no, but good guess! Whatever happend to Heather, anyway? I shall email her!

Melissa, negatory.

I'm probably not all that memorable and/or I think a lot of people thought I was a trouble maker :( I'm not, but the drama does catch my eye, I'll admit it.

Regina Phalange said...

Alright, off to lunch and run a few errands, back in anhour or so :) If you haven't guessed my identity by then I may just fess up !

twirldawg said...

Heather dropped by the other day. She swooped in a won a couple of auction items.

Brie said...

Mulie- that SUCKS! I refuse to use Walgreens so we only go to CVS. they have actually gone around the counter and grabbed me some pedialyte and tylenol for me to go with my prescriptions.

On top of my dog licking the pillow story today, my son has been watching me paint a project for my mom and he decided he wanted to paint too so he spit on his fingers and painted on the wall.... when he tried to 'paint' me, I told him he would go to his room if he put his spit on me, so he 'painted' his own cheek. My day has been filled with saliva!

tumbleweedgirl said...

eirb

saliva filled days are awesome...

my day has been filled with the runny nose of liajoy and blowing tumbleweeds and dust devils.

tumbleweedgirl said...

and i like our local little pharmacy. they have even run across to the bigger town to grab things we needed. they've been willing to special order things for lia, and swap in a name brand for generic when she really needed something.

they are always friendly and helpful. they usually toss a sucker in for zaya too

Brie said...

TWG, since my son got tubes in December, he has been runny nose free. Mostly sick free with the exception of a little cough here and there. I guess this is payback for my hiatus!

We got good news today that the job my hubby is interested in is interested in him too! Fingers, toes, legs and eyes crossed! We are grateful he has a job now but he works 80 hours a week and never gets to see us so this job would be so nice!

Brie said...

I'm reading this article about how unsecure Facebook is and it makes me want to delete my account:

For the first time I think that Eeq might have flipped!

Did I just give away my big secret identity?

Oh, and hi all! Up from nap time. :) I couldn't resist taking one, too. It's sunshiney, breezy and relaxing today!

. said...

Do rats like artichoke's? This one does! Yummm!

Mulie, sorry about your little guy. Poor thing. :o( This is one of those times when you take your car to be detailed, tip them well for what they will have to smell and touch, and hope they don't key your car for bringing it in.

Still haven't taken a nap. I need one, too! Maybe Shannon will let me cuddle up under her bed.

Muliebrity said...

Great news, Taiya! I mean T@iy@!

Muliebrity said...

The barf is contained to the car seat, so i just need to take the hose to it!

Angie said...

Ha T@iy@! Hope the flipping worked!

. said...

Brie, it's pretty unsecure. I had one for a few months but decided it wasn't worth it. I have an ex-boyfriend, one whom I had to take out a restraining order once, and he showed up on Facebook and started asking about me.
DELETE!

. said...

Oh no, Mulie. That's the worst place for puke. :o(

Angie said...

RP said: "I'm probably not all that memorable and/or I think a lot of people thought I was a trouble maker" Hmmmm, those two things are very different. I don't have a clue.

T@iy@ said...

Okay, I just read what I missed.

Mulie- Ewww and I totally feel your pain. Same thing happened to me at a Walgreens. I, however, brought my puke-laden daughter in and plopped her on their counter after 10 minutes. I got my prescription in 15. :) I was told it would take 45.

twirldawg said...

OH the identity of Regina is killing me!

Anonymous said...

Howdy.

Is RP CM?

. said...

Jill, I wish I knew, too. She said she hasn't been around for a while, lurked and posted at OHIH, but ran away. She said something about being taken down in all the drama? I can't think of who that would be.

A forgettable troublemaker, isn't that an oxymoron?

Muliebrity said...

Who was from St Louis on OHIH? I can't recall her name!

. said...

CM, as in Creepy Mommy? It sound be! I don't think anyone thought she was a trouble maker though. I don't remember her that way.

I'm so bad at remembering who lived where, so ST.L doesn't ring any bells for me.

Muliebrity said...

I think CM, was in St Louis. Maybe. CM wasn't a trouble maker, but she wasn't afraid to engage.

. said...

Mulie, did you john OHIH near the end? I don't remember you there at all. But, towards them end I had stepped back quite a bit, wasn't reading or posting as much, and I think a lot of new people showed up.

Anonymous said...

Let's not give out locations. There are "moles" here ya know.

Lisa said...

Regina? Are you GB?

. said...

I think I've only been to CM's blog once. One night while I was trying to help Krista (after she shut the board) we noticed that the "Hummus Harlot" button had been changed to mock Krista's words. I went to CM's blog because she had the button, so I emailed her to let her know she may want to remove it. I really don't know much about her though, don't remember seeing her comment a lot.

. said...

Who is GB?

Hi Christy!

. said...

I found CM's Blogger profile, she isn't in STL according to her profile.

Muliebrity said...

No, I think CM is in CA.

Deb said...

Classic.

Lisa said...

Wasn't *hushed voice* TC near St. Louis?

And .A RAT, GB = Gothic Butterfly, sorry!

Muliebrity said...

I was OHIH a few weeks after it started, but I used another blogger profile then.

Decided I shouldn't have been so specific. Don't want to wake someone...

AP, No. TC is in a place other than STL. Ha. Oh, I haven't thought about her for a while. I should email you....

Mulie, Oh ok. I didn't know you were there from the beginning and had another name. Sorry!

Deb- Yes, I remember now, it was CPTWife. That was pretty funny.

Lisa said...

"AP, No. TC is in Kansas. Ha. Oh, I haven't thought about her for a while. I should email you...."

Is there a reason you'd want to aggravate me like that? I thought you liked me well enough.

"AP-Have you had any success with the a/c acquisition?"

Love the new name! And sort of, that one guy I told you about is on his way out in a couple of hours. I'm praying for a cheap fix but I know it won't last for more than a month or two, even if he can. It's miserable out today, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

Hi girls - only 3 items have not been claimed from the auction. I'm trying to figure out something fun to do with my girl tonight as DH won't be home.

Shannon said...

Why do I find Wife Swap so freaking hilarious? There are just some of the shows that I imagine my family being part of a swap and I know for a fact that the new mom would be running from the house screaming bloody murder.

The one on today is a mom that is all about ballet and culture going to a bayou family deep in the heart of Louisiana. She is having dad and 3 boys do ballet...Josh would do it from hooks :)

Melissa said...

I figured I'd jump on the secret identity bandwagon-makes life interesting.
It's really warm today. Thankfully our a/c is working well for now. We'll see how it goes in August though.
Hopefully you can get some kind of fix-even if only a temporary one.

Melissa said...

Margaret-What's going to happen with the items that were donated but didn't receive bids? I wasn't able to participate in the bidding wars but I would be willing to purchase something outright. I wouldn't want anyone to think that they're contribution wasn't worthy of being bid on-does that make sense?

Regina Phalange said...

You guys guessed it. It is I, Creepy Mommy.

Now that the move and setting up house is (mostly) behind us, hopefully I'll have more time to chat :)

Regina Phalange said...

Well, that and Farmville and Treasure Isle take up *a lot* of my time ;)

Regina Phalange said...

Awww, thanks guys.

I kinda feel like I'm slinking back in, if that makes sense?

In, out, here, gone. I guess it's sort of like the ebb and flow of internet life.

Wow, I'm feeling mighty philosophical today :)

Regina Phalange said...

Question; The post on fwop that said there had been serious ramifications for someone because of the things they had said on this blog and possibly mwop, did they mean professionally? And was that Kristin? I'm sad about her leaving and I hope she's alright.

Margaret, some people think it's important to know who their e-mails may have been forwarded to. It's quite silly, to me.

Mulie, I completely agree with you about Laura. She's hard not to like. My favorite Bush? Her blonde daughter. (Forgot her name.) She's a Today show correspondent and I think she's fabulous. I first became a fan of hers after seeing a 60 minutes segment on her UN outreach and children's book she wrote.

Jenna is the one you are thinking of, SW. I really like Barbara after seeing her on Oprah.
