Oh geeze-will I be eternally late with my posts? Tee I posted a request for your red beans and rice under the other post. Thank you so much!

Tee said...

KaytieJ- I'm glad I could help! I'm an incredibly picky eater and just don't care for most common meals, but I love red beans and rice! I'll have to look up our recipe for you tonight! I'd be happy to e-mail it to you if that's okay. My e-mail address is: aunttee1(at)gmail(dot)com

Lisa said...

Tee, you better post that in our recipe link, because I want it, too!

Tee said...

That goes to show how behind I am! I didn't even see that there was a recipe link! I'll go post it there, I promise!

Muliebrity said...

Anyone else love the show "Castle"? It's one of my favs!

Melissa said...

Mulie-I've never heard of it. What's it about?

Tee said...

Muliebrity, I think I saw it a few times. Can you remind me of what it's about?

Shannon said...

Tee I have missed you too. I read your post about your kidney stones....are you feeling better now?

Now was Mardi Gras with the girls?

Muliebrity said...

It's about a mystery writer, who works with a female detective (his muse).

Melissa said...

What Network is it on and when? I'll have to try to catch it sometime because it seems interesting.

Hi ladies.

I'm going to post my tuna linguine recipe, as well as my homemade yogurt cheese one...both are awesome.

How was the day?

Melissa said...

Hey Bella. I want to try your linguine recipe-do I remember reading that I could substitute chicken for the tuna?

Anonymous said...

Hey Melissa, I think Sandy did the switch and she said it was great. I would just chop it up pretty small!

Muliebrity said...

Melissa, It's on ABC.

Melissa said...

Ok, will have to try that out then. I'm seriously lacking for inspiration in the dinner department!

Melissa said...

Thanks for the info Mulie-I'll check it out.

Melissa said...

Do you ladies mind if I rant for a minute? My daughter came home from school today and told me that a girl in her class told her that she looked like a stripper. And that it was "kinda true". I was shocked-who teaches their kids (my daughter is 10 and her friend is 11) that they can talk to people that way? Am I being irrational in my thinking?

Muliebrity said...

Holy crap! MWOP has got it wrong!

Melissa said...

Haven't been to MWOP since early this afternoon-what's up over there?

Muliebrity said...

They listed this young girl that I have only seen at SIFs BF and called her out as being a Wolverine on MWOPs main page.

Shannon said...

Melissa you let your daughter go to school in 8" light up heels and a bikini? Damn!!!

Ok so joking aside that is pretty horrible that she said that to your daughter. I would think that parents wouldnt think it is something that is ok.

I am so certain that your daughter looks nothing like a hooker.

Anonymous said...

What's up Mulie?

Melissa-I have no advice on what to do, but that is shitty. Girls can be so catty, and it seems to be at a younger and younger age. I mean, 10 and 11? That sounds like high-school stuff to me.

Shannon said...

Mulie I agree....I actually clicked on the link thing under Erica's pic and left a comment hopefully that will set MWOP straight. Erica is definitely not a 'wolverine'....however Kathryn whom she was talking to on JM's BF is definitely a bitch.....oh yeah I said that on my blog about her too LMAO

Muliebrity said...

Erica was being catty today, but I think she just caught up in the Kathryn smack down and felt like she was part of the crowd, though Kathryn did call her out. She is just a young 19 y/o girl. What the hell does she know?

Melissa said...

Shannon-She'd love to flounce around in acrylic heels etc but I'm not having any of that! :)
Bella-exactly what I would expect out of a couple of 16 year olds.
I guess that some of the girls have given her flack for using a *gasp* Hannah Montana backpack. So she refuses to use it. Isn't the whole tween girl range who the higher ups at the Disney Channel are trying to reach?
I guess I'm just frustrated that some of these girls seem so much more grown up than my daughter. Sorry, but I want to keep her a kid!

Muliebrity said...

I had only seen her a few days over at JM's before we all left, so I would not call her a MckLover.

Muliebrity said...

Melissa, That must be so hard! Is your DD still upset?

Lisa said...

Melissa, did the girl say why she said that to your daughter and why does your daughter think it's "kinds true"? I'm just wondering if it's a sort of innocent, stereotypical thing, like maybe she has long blonde hair or is developing a bit early. For what it's worth, I don't think girls now see that as being as much of an insult as most of us would have, which is also sad. And they probably see it on TV and such, it's possible the girl didn't learn it from her folks at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending what she said...I'm just suspecting there might be a more innocent explanation for it. I hope so, anyway.

Melissa said...

I don't know, Mulie. She acts like things don't really bother her but then later she lets it slip that it does. She said that she doesn't care what these girls say. I had to explain to her what exactly a stripper is. She's not sheltered in the least-at least I don't think she is. But she's very naive which I would like to think is normal of 10 y/o girls. Who knows.

Anonymous said...

Oh, boy. Not changing the subject, but my friend just sent me a link to this site called "Offbeat Bride".

Check out this wedding:

http://offbeatbride.com/2010/03/halloween-viking-wedding

That dude wouldn't come CLOSE to plundering my village!!

Muliebrity said...

Is she your oldest, Melissa?

Anonymous said...

I wonder if the other girls know what a stripper is. I remember using words at that age, not knowing what they meant, but knowing they were "bad" words.

Muliebrity said...

Ok, I am really annoyed at the MWOP "Wolverine Wall"! Do they think everyone that posts over there is a MckLover? They should know better then that! They know that most of us were there because it was one of the more active forums.

Melissa said...

AP-the way it was relayed to me was that this girl "K" said to Jayna (my daughter) "you look like a stripper". K then gave Jayna a look up and down-you know the assesing what you're dealing with look-then said "it's kinda true".
Backstory-I tend to be strict with what Jayna's allowed to wear. I expect her to be covered and nothing too clingy. She has already started developing and I don't want to cause problems for her by allowing her to wear skin tight shirts that accentuate her figure.
So today Jayna's wearing a t-shirt and skirt and leggings. Her skirt wasn't slutty short but since it did stop above her knee I made her wear the leggings. Certainly not what I'd call slutty or stripper like but I don't know what exactly one would wear in that particular profession.

Lisa said...

"I wonder if the other girls know what a stripper is."

Bella, at 10 and 11, most of them know. At least a good, rough idea. It's everywhere...news, internet, reality shows, and if you manage to shelter your kid from all that, they'll still hear it from friends who aren't sheltered and see it in their homes.

Tee said...

Melissa- Goodness, what insanity! I can't believe that a child would even say something like that! I'm so sorry. I wish I had advice but I really don't know what to say. I'm glad to listen if you want to rant some more though.

Shannon- I'm working on a Mardi Gras post for my blog right now! It was so much fun and I can't wait to show you the pictures from it.

I'm not feeling any better. The stone is caught and simply won't pass. I have an appointment with the urologist in a week and a half. I'm sure that they will do a basket procedure to remove the stone. In the meantime, I'm just highly medicated and waiting it out. I've been to the ER five times now and feel certain I'll be back before the appointment. It's a stubborn stone, ain't so?

Anonymous said...

Gotcha, AP. I forget that kids today are much less sheltered than we were when we were young. Hell, I had to ask my mom what a tampon was...at 13.

Melissa said...

AP-I agree that things that would insult me are the "norm" for kids now. There are a few girls in the class that are normally catty so I'm hoping that this girl just had issue with what Jayna was wearing today. Hopefully this won't be something that she has to deal with all the time.
Mulie-yeah she's my oldest. My son is 8 and less likely to care what anyone says about him.

Lisa said...

Melissa, I'm at a loss, then, since it sounds like her clothing was more modest than many wear. Could K be jealous of Jayna's looks and thought this would be a good, catty insult?

Melissa said...

Jayna didn't know what a stripper was. She thought she did-then after we talked she asked me to tell her what exactly a stripper was. But AP's right-just because I've sheltered her from some things doesn't mean that kids at school aren't filling her head with stuff.

Melissa said...

AP-it could be. I told Jayna that not everyone is going to like her or the things she wears etc. I think she gets that. It was just frustrating, you know? Try to make sure that my kids is not distracting to look at, treats others with respect etc. only to have her deal with that. I'll live-just needed to let it out I guess.

Lisa said...

Bella, I was telling someone the other day that things I was doing and thinking at 13-14 are more the norm for 8-9 year olds now. Especially girls. At 12, I didn't really grasp the idea of sex or even care about it. I still played with Barbies. It's so very different now.

Muliebrity said...

When visiting my parents, they had "House" or something on and there were strippers on it and my then 3 year old saw a stripper lick something off the arm of a guy. He turned right around and tried to lick my arm the same way! That was a show on at 7pm! There is no was some middle schoolers didn't see that!

Muliebrity said...

It's a little scary, and sad that the "loss of innocence" (for lack of a better description) comes so early now. You have your whole life to be an adult.

It's the big catch-22: You spend your entire youth wishing you were older, and then you are older and want to be young again :/

Muliebrity said...

Looks like MWOP took the "Wolverine Wall" picture of that girl down.

Lisa said...

http://offbeatbride.com/2010/03/halloween-viking-wedding

I must admit, I thought this was a cute wedding and even thought the groom was cute in a very..hairy...way. I was most bothered by the wedding party photo with one of the guys wearing what look to be khaki Dockers. Actually, no, I was most bothered when I went to the sister site, Offbeat Mamas, and saw the first photo. http://offbeatmama.com/filed/photos/family-portraits

Shannon said...

I am glad to see that....maybe my comment that was in moderation caught her attention and she decided it was better to take it down.

Anonymous said...

Some of the weddings on that site are great! I felt a little intimidated by Mr. Viking Groom, though.

I asked Jay if he could get some dreadlocks, tattoos, and ironic glasses, and if we could get married under a tree.

I can't believe he is still with me.

Lisa said...

"It's a little scary, and sad that the "loss of innocence" (for lack of a better description) comes so early now. You have your whole life to be an adult."

It really is sad. It sure seems you ought to be able to get a good 10-12 years of total innocence out of it but that's just not the way of our world anymore.

Anonymous said...

AP: you can be unique and still wear clothing, jmo.

Lisa said...

"I can't believe he is still with me."

I think it means he secretly likes the idea.

Muliebrity said...

Shannon, Erica was about to report MWOP to blogger anyway. I thought that was uncool.

Anonymous said...

Gosh, it's late for me...goodnight all!

Karen said...

Hi all - catching up. One thing I just read the recipe for the Buckeye Balls! they have them all over Ohio - the Buckey State! My mom has an almost exact recipe that she makes all the time, and its so good and easier, Just take the peanut butter mix, and press into the bottom of a cookie sheet with sides.... and then melt the choc and put on top and spread, then refrigerate for a while, hardens the chocolate and then slice like brownies. Easier than rolling and dipping the balls and you get the same effect. We called it "Peanut Buter Confection"

Melissa said...

Sorry ladies, didn't mean to dump on everyone and run. I'm trying to get caught up at MWOP. I appreciate all of your input into the situation with Jayna though. :)

KaytieJ said...

It is sad the loss of innocence so young. But then, I had a hard time last night with the "Poise" commercials on the Oscars. My 14 yr old son looked at me and said, 'that is gross.' Kids get lambasted with information too soon these days no matter what we do.

Lisa said...

"Shannon, Erica was about to report MWOP to blogger anyway. I thought that was uncool."

For what? If she read Blogger's TOS, she'd now they won't do shit about it.

Muliebrity said...

I know of a few bloggers who have gotten blogs shut down for "stealing" pictures. I honestly don't know how these things work. I really don't.

Lisa said...

"My 14 yr old son looked at me and said, 'that is gross.' Kids get lambasted with information too soon these days no matter what we do."

Hell, I even hate those commercials. I hate all commercials about personal things, from periods and birth control to impotence and incontinence. And you now what I really hate? The network that sells sex toys late night in QVC-type format. It's 1am, we're channel surfing and my son and I are treated to someone selling a big, glass dildo on standard cable TV.

Tee said...

Melissa, never ever be sorry for needing to vent! I don't like to speak for other people, but in this case I'm confident in saying that nobody minds! It's crazy that Jayna is having to deal with something like this at a young age.

KaytieJ said...

I did see the original pics earlier today and she did not give credits for others taking those pictures. No skin off me, but I know that if it were the other way around JM would be tweeting/twitting like crazy about it. What a fraud.

KaytieJ said...

I'm with you AP. It is truly one of the reasons we hardly ever watch TV. So embarrassing to sit there and be the remote nazi! I can't change channels fast enough!

KaytieJ said...

Oh...forgot to comment-too shell shocked---they sell dildos on TV :::thud::: How embarrassing for both of you!

Lisa said...

Kaytie, I find it interesting you've arrived at these conclusions about Jennifer. For the record. I initially did nothing more than send her the link to JM's blog right after I sent her the link to us. No influencing or opinions until Kaytie formed her own opinions. That makes me truly appreciate that a very intelligent, well-educated medical professional is seeing JM in the same light many of us do. I know we aren't over-reacting.

Lisa said...

"Oh...forgot to comment-too shell shocked---they sell dildos on TV :::thud::: How embarrassing for both of you!"

Yup, it's paid programming on Oxygen.

KaytieJ said...

No offense anyone, but I had to check it out myself because that is only fair and right. The blogging world is brand new to me. I do have real life friends that sponsor schools in Honduras and they go there a couple weeks a year with their teen kids. Not what I would do since there is truly scary stuff there. However, these are truly genuine people that do not try to make any money for themselves by doing these things. I also follow Greg Mortenson of "Three Cups of Tea" and his workings in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And "Doctors without Borders." Sure they request money and they only run on private donations, but they do not use their personal tragedies to milk money. I wanted to give JM the doubt. Nothing wrong with making a living and supporting your family. Admirable. Just be honest with it. Which they are not. JM and her husband are all hype. I do think they have brought more awareness to the Compassion Program and that is a good thing. I still need to do research on that program, though.

Lisa said...

Okay, I need to have a big ol' pissed off rant here. And Trudy, should you read this, please forgive me if I am overstepping and I want everyone to know I've had *no* contact with her. I just happened to read her blog tonight and what did I find? Trudy...sweet, kind, gentle, cake ball-recipe-sharing, best Secret Santa ever, never causing a problem, non-controversial Trudy, was banned from SIP today. Well, yesterday. And she doesn't know why, according to her blog. You know, I've tried hard to remain fairly decent and civil but for a few minor snarks about SIP but this? Crossed lines. Trudy? For real? So maybe she said something wrong or bad...we all do from time to time, every last one of us. She couldn't be forgiven? Really? I mean, seriously, get a grip...TRUDY did something bad enough to get banned? For fuck's sake, no one is safe there and if ever anyone needed proof, this is it. God*damn, this makes me mad.

KaytieJ said...

WHAT IS SIP? And I am so, so sorry this has happened. For you to be so upset, I KNOW it is just plain wrong what is going on.

Tee said...

You have got to be kidding me! Trudy was banned? What in the world happened? I have to find her blog to read about it! Oh, Trudy... I'm so sorry to hear that. I was really hurt when I was banned and my guess is that you feel the same way. I agree with Lisa. (AP) The leader has gone off the deep end and she's burning bridges left and right. I am really worried about her at this point.

Tee said...

KaytieJ- SIP is a blog that a girl named Won started after OHIH broke down. It is a private blog, only accessable by invitation. Things were going well for awhile and then the leader (Won) went nuts and started banning people left and right. It started with me and Kristin and went from there. Won is spreading outright lies and her behavior has me concerned. It also has me angry as all get out. I don't deserve the nasty way she has treated me and neither does anybody else. For pity's sake, Kristin and Trudy are two of the sweetest people in the world!

Tee said...

I guess everyone left! That's my cue to go to bed! I have a new blog post up if anyone is interested. It's pretty picture heavy from Mardi Gras! southernsweettee@blogspot.com

KaytieJ said...

Tee-thank you so much for filling me in on SIP. I don't know Trudy, but being here for just a short time and talking with the people here-all of you have been a joy to read or converse with. That would really hurt being banned. I am sorry you and Kristin went through that. I am glad you are both here, though. And hey, one of my dearest friends IRL is a Mardi Gras gal. I had so much fun at her Mardi Gras party. Even had King Cake! Will enjoy seeing your pics!

Tee said...

KaytieJ- You're quite welcome! What's happening with SIP is making me sick. I hate to see so many good people hurt because of one person's decisions.

Oh, King Cake! Yummy! That's the best part of Mardi Gras, ain't so? I love the cakes filled with strawberry and cream cheese. Dang, now I'm hungry!

I started my blog as a journal for my nieces. It's something that they will be able to read after I'm gone. I made the blog private simply because I couldn't stand the thought of random hateful people leaving nasty comments. I'm happy to invite you to read it! If you want to, just send me an e-mail address that I can send the invite to!

Karen said...

I don't know what is going on with my posts, I posted here... saying that I posted at SIP asking about Trudy. I just check SIP and my post is gone, I come back here and my post is gone. What the heck?

Tee said...

Karen- Do you have any idea what happened?

Karen said...

I have no idea Tee!! i was just trying to find trudy's blog to read myself, do you know her blog?

I'm so pissed at the hubs. I asked him to get milk last night and he didn't. We had about a quarter of a gallon of milk left and the bastard drank it. UGH!

kristin said...

He is feeling better, thanks for asking. He just didn't sleep worth shit last night and only wanted me, so I ended up sleeping in his room. He likes to sleep on his floor, so I slept in his bed until about 4:00 this morning when he decided he wanted his bed too.

Very tired today!

Thank you for the kind words AP you melted my heart. I love it here you have agood thing going keep it up.

Taiya, it would take me all of 5 minutes to get the milk. I asked him to stop on his way home from work. "Oh I forgot". I asked him to go after dinner but I guess he was too busy looking at YouTube videos of WWE. It just pisses me off to no end.

kristin said...

ugghhhhh!

I asked SO yesterday to go get pedialyte while I took LM to the doctor. I ended up going to the store after the doctor and knew that he hadn't gone. I got home and was putting the groceries away and he asks "do you still need pedialyte?" - ummmm...no...

I try to remember, he is just a guy. It's just frustrating b/c I wish he would think about the reasoning behind me asking to get it and just do it when I ask.

Good Morning all ;) I am just going to jump in this morning and say hey! My computer at home and work has been down since Friday, all is finally back up and running but I am sure I missed a bunch.
Kristin how is the LM doing?
Morning Corinne (waving)
Morning Trudy(waving too)

I like being a sahm, but there are times, alot of times, I wish I was back at work. I miss getting a paycheck. Yeah, I have my transcription work but that is few and far between that I get any. The lady I work for now owes me almost $600.00. I'm still waiting for my February 15th and 28th checks! Her mother owes me over $1000 from last year.

kristin said...

Hey Suz - LM is doing better - actually I was surprised at how well he was yesterday, full of energy and no nap but he didn't sleep well last night. He was in good spirits this morning though.

Thanks for asking!

Good morning (again) Suz!

suz said...

Sandy lol good morning to you again too :)
wow that is a lot of money you are owed Sandy.
I see Tee has been around, she must be feeling better!

Anonymous said...

Hi Suz! Yay for a computer that works :-P

Sandy- Ugh. I would harass that woman until she gives me the money she owes me! ;-)

suz said...

Sandy, I am with Corinne, that is not right to keep you hanging.
Busy day for me today stinking work is busy and I have a dr. appt.
I will check back in with you daisies later on! Be good..or not.

Lindsay said...

Good morning!

Kristin - Glad LM is doing better!

Hope you all have a "daisy day!"

My Sparkling Life said...

Corinne: Good! Just got out of the world's most boring staff meeting.

kristin said...

Hey Lindsay!

How are you?

Hey HiT!

Anonymous said...

Morning HiT.

I have tried getting the $1000. that the mother owes me but now my emails get unanswered. The daughter will eventually pay me. When I don't know but she is usually good about it.

I'd love to find me another typing gig.

Hey Kristin and Sandy!

Kristin: Aren't you loving the sucky weather today?

Anonymous said...

I've got a mouthy little boy today. He's coming down with a cold or it could quite possibly be allergies. He is a mouthy, defiant one today though.

Anonymous said...

Hey Lindsay!

kristin said...

It was worse yesterday when I had to take LM to the doctor and to the store. It looks like the sun might come out today.

Anonymous said...

Well, I got the vacuuming done with Mr. B home. That was fun trying to vacuum while he acted like a dog chasing the vacuum cleaner and barking at it. UGH!

Anonymous said...

Trudy...you are my hero! No need to say oops either!

kristin said...

Hi Christy!

Anonymous said...

Hey Kristin. I'm still getting caught up. Is LM better?

kristin said...

seems to be Christy - thanks!

Anonymous said...

Sandy- I know that it was probably everything but fun to actually have to vacuum with your son doing that but I'm literally Lol'ing.

Hi Christy!

Hi Corinne.

Sandy, being a SAHM is never dull :)

Good morning! Letting my day get sucked up by the internets. I have so much to do IRL!

Shannon said...

Morning Ladies....Sorry, kind of, to hear of your banning on SIP. I have often wondered what kind of things are being said about those of us who have either been banned or have left but I realized I really dont care anymore.

I had a realization about my math class last night. As I was stressing and freaking out about it I decided to look at my over all score again...I have an 81% in the class, I am ok I dont have to be freaking myself out about it LOL

T@iy@ said...

Hello, again! Spending some time catching up before I make my hubs some PB pie.

Anonymous said...

I'm sure that's a relief Shannon!

Shannon said...

Christy this last week I was freaking myself out so bad I was ready to just drop out of school...I hate that I let myself get so stressed and THEN think to look and see what is really going on LOL

kristin said...

Yeah Shannon!

I too had that feeling right after being banned but then reality hit and realized it was so not worth it.

I know who I am and what is in my heart. If some paranoid people want to talk about me and spin tales, then so be it. Their perogative.

T@iy@ said...

Shannon- math classes do that to me whether I am passing or not. I am not a math person.

Shannon said...

Kristin....Exactly I know who I am and those who really care know who I am....I cant worry myself with what someone who has perceived injury thinks about me.

Taiya I am sooooo not a math person. Yes I am wanting to major in accounting and business but honestly I will NEVER be doing the things I have to do in these math classes LOL

Anonymous said...

Shannon, I can barely help my daughter who's in 4th grade with her math homework. You're doing just fine!

Anonymous said...

Shannon- That is great! re:math

Shannon said...

Thx Corinne...how is your schooling going? We have spring break coming up after next week...do you get a break like this over there?

T@iy@ said...

Oy... accounting. You couldn't pay me enough!

T@iy@ said...

Math classes were always forced learning for me. I had to force myself to concentrate and to retain the info. Give me a fun history or anthro class and i am all about it! Math? It's like a root canal.

Anonymous said...

Shannon- We do have a kind of Spring break, we call it 'Easter vacation'. This year it starts April 3rd. Yes, I know I live in a secular country and yet all our school breaks are organized based on religious events. The irony is not lost on me ::eyeroll::

:P

Good morning, everyone. :-)

Not much to say -- the weather has turned to crap again, which makes me sad. It's snowing (not sticking, though) and just in general cold and miserable. ::scowl:::

kristin said...

Hey RiM!

Sorry to hear about the weather!

Anonymous said...

Hi RiM! I'm sorry the weather sucks, I'm sending you 'good weather vibes' :-)

kristin said...

my brain is not working. I thought I had to enter payroll this week - got the guy to bring me timecards - he only had one week - duh - we don't get paid until next friday - so I have one more week to do payroll.

I need sleep!

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHA Kristin that is funny but not. At least you dont have to do payroll today :) From the sound of it you shouldnt be doing it.....you have a week for everyone at home to feel better and get some sleep first :)

Robin in Montana said...

Hi Kristin! Corinne!
Yes, Corinne, put a good voodoo on the weather here as I am officially over the snow and ice for this year.

I don't know if KaytieJ is still on? I'm thinking I read she was starting a six-day work shift? Anyway, if you *are, Kaytie, I'd love to talk horses! I have one of my own -- Jerry, who is slightly accident prone and conformationally not so perfect, but I love him silly. My girls both have horses, too -- Jake and Leo.

kristin said...

The sad thing is, I even thought that way yesterday. When I called in to tell them I wouldn't be here yesterday, I asked him to have someone bring up the timecards to my sister.

Doh!

Sad thing is, it is a busy week at work, plus crazy weekend ahead.

and I need to get my sister something for her baby shower on Saturday.

kristin said...

You had to say Leo didn't you RiM :(

For all those who need sunshine, you'll get to live vicariously through me ;-)

This is what we had today:

Robin in Montana said...

Awww, Kristin, I'm sorry. :( We can refer to him as the fat black horse from now on. ::nod::

Robin in Montana said...

Beautiful, Corinne! I love the sun.

kristin said...

no worries RiM! It is what it is.

Anonymous said...

<--- not 'getting' the Leo/horse thing :D

RiM- It was gorgeous today here, though a bit cold. I took this pic this afternoon, from my bedroom.

Anonymous said...

Nevermind re:Leo. I'm just a little dense ;)

Robin in Montana said...

That's Kristin's story to tell. :-D

It's been gorgeous here and I was starting to really get the ol' gardening and flower bug, and then, *wham, it's still winter. I knew it would happen, but I was hoping ...

kristin said...

:)

I guess I should address it here so no one else is left clueless.

Leo is a guy I met in Michigan when I used to visit my grandmother. I have fond memories of him and he has a kind heart - would visit my grandmother after she was diagnosed with cancer - would take her to lunch, take her on walks, etc. I think he is the one that got away.

He is now engaged. :(

Anonymous said...

Kristin- I'm sorry I even brought it up :s

RiM- I sure hope Winter doesn't make a come back before next year here (I know technically it's still Winter but you know what I mean!)

Robin in Montana said...

All right, what's anyone planning for dinner? Spaghetti here, sauce is in the crockpot, but it's just not sounding all that good right now.
