Thank God it's not the Owl cam, lol.

Just remember that a new post will be coming up automatically at 3pm eastern time so until we all get in the habit of remembering, can whoever catches it first please post a reminder on the old thread when it's up? Thanks!

Lisa said...

What's the link to the owl cam again?

Lisa said...

Bella, I see you chatting in the owl room. *shakes my head*

And thanks for the link.

Anonymous said...

Damn owl.

I'm going to bed. No more chatting anywhere!

Lisa said...

Not even one last look? G'night, Bella!

Daisy rifle? LOL! I think we have one of those.

AP - I'll look up Craigs list. Would not have thought of that. Thank you!

Hey.. anyone here?

I think I'm allergic to sleep, or at least a normal pattern. I'm up when all of you are asleep and you sleep when I'm up.

kristin said...

Morning ladies! LFoB - sorry about being allergic to sleep :(

Bella/Sandy - I was watching it last night too and all day. Molly actually ate a whole rabbit too. Amazing!

It was nice waking up at 7:00 and not having a deadline.

Morning Ladies, just a Daisy PSA...there's yet another really bad Facebook virus. Please don't open anything you this is bogus. I don't know exactly what it is but it will take over access of your computer and all of your info on it.

kristin said...

Morning Sandy!

Sucks about the virus.

Margo said...

sandy - what do you mean open stuff, like games?

Morning everybody! TGIF!!

AP asked: "SW, I'm nosy. What part of the whole Billy-is-a-witch thing is bothering you?"

Oh, I don't dislike witches, AP, so don't worry I'll reject you on that score. ;-) Willow on Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of my favorite characters! Billy is nothing like her, though. If he's a "witch," he's in it for women, for sure. A "true" witch, if there is such a person, would be someone who is connected to the earth, may be introspective but also outwardly-focused. My nephew is a piece of crap moocher who has never really worked a day in his life. Barely graduated high school, even though he's plenty smart, because he's incredibly lazy and doesn't give a shit about anything. He has crappy parents -- my "bad" sister who I don't talk about much because I can't really stand her and her redneck husband who she married and divorced three times. After which she married her ex's first cousin and her ex married HIS OWN first cousin. But his first cousin was adopted, so they considered it okay.

My nephew is 22 years old now and at some point you don't get to keep blaming your failures on bad parenting. He doesn't go to school or have a job, he floats between his Dad's house and his Granny's house (not my mom, his other grandmother), and who the hell knows what he does for cigarette and beer money now. My parents love him to distraction and would do anything for him, so of course he takes advantage of their kindness and gets money from them. Money they don't have a lot of and worked hard all their lives for.

So, to summarize, I don't have anything against witches in general. Just ones who are pieces of shit who contribute nothing positive to society. :-)

T@iy@ said...

Margaret- I love that you feed the birds! :) I worked at a bird store for a few years. I really loved it and I really love feeding birds. :)

Margo said...

Morning, all!

LFoB Kay, I'm sorry I missed. We need to get your sleep habits reversed so that you're here when the rest of us are. How is today shaping up to be for you?

"Oh, I don't dislike witches, AP, so don't worry I'll reject you on that score. ;-)"

That would be lovely if I were (was?) a witch. Alas, I am not. I was just wondering if Billy was doing it all in an effort to be cool and trendy, even though that whole thing is pretty 2003.

TGIF to all the working folks...anyone have any exciting weekend plans?

Angie said...

"even though that whole thing is pretty 2003."

2010 is 2003 in lower Alabama, really. They're late bloomers.

Margo said...

I'm hoping my friend dies - is that exciting?

Margo said...

That sounded mean, what I mean is I will be happy for her when she dies.

kristin said...

alright ladies - it is a beautiful day in Spring - and I am headed to the Livestock show with a very hyper little boy.

See ya guys later!

suz said...

Good Morning Daisies!
AP, love the billboard, classic! We don't have any bb guns, just lots of other ones hubs being a hunter and all. I would like a bb gun to go shoot cans and stuff, that sounds like fun.
Owl cam, pretty cool. Last year I found a Shiba Inu cam. Yes, these people wanted to see what their puppies were doing all day so they set up a webcam. Super cute puppies but talk about a time waster, watching cute puppies sleep.lol.
Happy Friday to everyone

suz said...

Kristin,
Oh livestock show, have fun!

Margo said...

Suz - I'm not a gun lover but I love my bb pistol - treat yourself to one :)

T@iy@ said...

Have fun, Kristin!

Margaret- it doesn't sound mean to me. It just sounds like she has been through a lot and you want for that to be over. It's heart breaking.

A few years ago when the Washington DC Zoo had a baby panda, I became obsessed with the Panda Cam. Then after that I became obsessed with the Elephant Cam at the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. I need to stay away from the owl site!

Lindsay said...

Good morning gun-toting daisies :)

My kids would give their eye teeth for an air soft pellet gun. I think that could only lead to trouble - shootouts in the yard and stuff. I keep avoiding the subject!

I loved the panda cam - he just went back to China a few weeks ago. It was a really big deal around here - grown men weeping on the news...

suz said...

SW,lol. Me too. I spent seriously all day going to the puppy site. They were so damn cute, I could not help myself.
Margaret, I may have to just get myself one of those bb pistols, sounds fun.

Taiya - when is your baby due?

Wait? Tai Shan went back to China? Oh my goodness! ::sniff::

Margo said...

Yes, they are loaner pandas.

Lisa said...

Margaret, I know what you mean about your friend. There comes a time where it seems cruel that they have to linger and you are happy for them when they pass.

I had an old Daisy BB gun and my mom taught Jake to shoot using it in her backyard. Her wooden fence is full of dings and holes. :-D Funny story, when my dad was alive we were in the back yard messing with it, trying to hit certain tree branches and knock cans off the fence. Yes, in a residential neighborhood. Anyway, my dad was teasing my mom because she wouldn't try it, ragging on her for being a poor shot. She, being all smart-assy, grabbed it out of his hand and shot it, left-handed, randomly into the sky without even looking up. saying, "There. I shot it." And just as she said it, a big-ass blackbird dropped dead about 15' away. She'd actually hit it and killed it as it was flying by...lol. She felt so awful she cried while we buried it. Ahh, good times.

Angie said...

I knew they were loaners, was just hoping he'd get a "reprieve." But the Chinese definitely know how to take care of their pandas. Captive ones anyway. So he'll be okay. Remember when he was born and some people called him Butterstick because he was the size of a stick of butter? Good times.

Angie said...

ROFL AP! How awful! Poor Miss Arse!

By the way, if anyone is ever in need of a good cry, google The Elephant Sanctuary and read about their elephants. TES is a 2500 acre sanctuary for "retired" circus elephants (primarily), and their love and care for the elephants will break your heart (in a good way).

Enjoy the day and don't worry about the other stuff - you're not a whale - you're preggo :) Birthdays are special and the other stuff isn't.

Taiya - I don't know if you're still here, but that crap they sell for not getting razor burn in the ol' bikini area works wonders elsewhere, too. It's with all the rest of the shaving/hair removal crap aisle.

Robin in Montana said...

Margaret - I completely understand why you would feel that way.

SW - I'm going to look for the elephant sanctuary thing. The documentary about prisons who have the BLM Mustang training programs? Make me bawl like an idiot every time - love that connection that an animal and human can have.

Katie has a bb gun. I am afraid one day I will get shot in the ass with it. lol.

Lindsay said...

RiM - Sorry about your Grizzlies yesterday. They hung in there, though.

Lisa said...

I was just thinking...we've not heard from some here lately: Rebecca, Jill, Melissa, Nic, Nikki, Deb, EL, dkmissie, Trudy, Jae and others. If y'all read this, how are you doing out there?

Nilia said...

Good morning! Slept so poorly again, I am resisting having to take sleep pills but I may have to. Thank God it's still March Break.

LFoB: I missed you when you posted earlier today. Hope you have a good day!

I'll be seeing Shortround again today, my parents are taking us all out (+ SIL's parents) since SIL's parents are from out of town. Shortround is 3 weeks old today, that's pretty brave of his parents to hang out in a restaurant!

Robin in Montana said...

Lindsay - I didn't see the game, but I heard it was good. Waiting for the Zags game later this afternoon ...

Robin in Montana said...

Awww, Shortround. :-D I hope his restaurant lunch goes fabulously!

Hi RiM! Actually it's dinner, later tonight. Right now I"m cleaning, anybody want to help?
