Wouldn't you like to know? ;)

Hola senorita!

manda said...

I'm actually just leaving, lunchtime and I have to make a return at target. Quick question; Kristin, do you know who FTWmommy is on Twitter?

kristin said...

Hey Creepy! How the hell are you? how is that precious little one?

kristin said...

I have no idea - I think Sue does though...or at least reading through MWoP, it seems that she knows.

manda said...

Oh, she's good. She's good. With her dad and grandma today. We're just getting settled into the new place, so far so good. How's LM? How are YOU?

manda said...

There's a couple of crazies... It's fun to read, but kind of super spastic if you get too far in, know what I mean?

I read here almost everyday, trying to keep up with you ladies!

kristin said...

I am doing okay - in a holding pattern dontcha know.

Glad the little one is doing well.

Don't you hate moving? Do you like the new house? You all settled yet?

How are you?

Margo said...

Hellew daisies

kristin said...

Hey Margaret - how are you? How is "c" and fil and hubby's first day of work?

Shannon said...

Hey CM and Margaret

Margo said...

C is still here, FIL is so so and no word yet from hubs so that's good.

Hi Shannon and CM.

Margo said...

I think I'm cured of mwop - people are trying to name names - it's like the McCarthy era over there :)

kristin said...

?? Margaret - I saw on F'ship that some people were leaving nasty comments on your blog - that is just stupid.

Naming names?

I haven't read in a few days.

Okay - I am addicted to these damn cadbury eggs. ugghhh.

Anonymous said...

Kristin, cadbury eggs....ewwww!

Angie said...

Ha! I'm wearing a very tired green dress I need to retire and a black cardigan. Granny panties and pantyhose. 2nd day on my bra. TMI? Ya get what you ask for, AP!

Margo said...

On mwop they are trying to figure out if someone is the april rose mama... cyber multiple personality disorders abound!

Margo said...

I'm changing my online name to Jesus - pronounced hay-seuss :)

kristin said...

LMAO Margaret!

I'm wearing jeans and a polo work shirt and tennis shoes with a headset (very madonna-sih)

Oh - and just got the shit scared out of me. Sounded like a bomb went off and then a crashing noise in "big bosses" office - one of the pics hanging on his wall decided to slide down the wall - hit some chairs and shatter glass EVERYWHERE! Glad no one was sitting in the chair. YIKES!

Lisa said...

Margaret, if I were you, I'd change it to Hey Suess.

Margo said...

Hey AP

Kristin - you need some cones

Lisa said...

Corinne (I think it was), that's a good article you posted about how Europeans feel about our health care bill...thanks!

kristin said...

so I googled FTWMommy - and it seems that FTWMommy (I don't think it is THAT ftwmommy) but there are a lot of sex related things associated with that...lol.

Lisa said...

SW, thank you for the description of your clothing...once again, you rule on snexiness. ;-)

Kristin, I'm with Margaret. To be Madanna-ish, the cones are a must. Actually, they could be pretty entertaining on SW with her tired green dress, too.

Hi, CM!

Lisa said...

Is FTWMommy Tina? She reminds me of Tina, for some reason.

kristin said...

Oh and on the whole Jesus thing.

I worked with a guy who refused to say Jesus (the hispanic pronunciation of Hey-zeuss)- but he would call anyone with Jesus - Jesse - I think that is offensive - but the guy was super religious and wouldn't say Jesus.

kristin said...

Tina posts as Tina though on MWoP.

Margo said...

FTW talks about karma, quotes lyrics, mentions how her mom raised her, does not care for daisies, thinks she lives in a palace, is writing a juicy blog, likes to out people

kristin said...

Oh - that sounds like GM/brie/maria/lyrics/newman...and now FTW.....hmmmm....interesting, very very interesting!

Lisa said...

See, while it sounds like GM, I don't think it is. And honestly, how can anyone not like us?

This makes me want to open a Twitter account.

I also just poured a huge glass of wine. It's 5 o'clock in Caracas or somewhere. Anyone care for any?

manda said...

Back from lunch.

The new place is great, we're all very happy there. It's a two-story townhouse and Harper's obssesed! with the stairs. Mainly we have a baby gate at the top and at the bottom-ish, allowing her to go up and down four or so stairs on her own when she wants. She likes to kick it and watch Jack's Music Show, it's pretty darn cute. It's been an adjusment for all of us, but so far so good.

I can't help it, when the dramallama rears it's ugly head I almost always perk up my ears! ;)

kristin said...

I would love some AP!

manda said...

AP, pass me a drink!!!

kristin said...

CM - great to hear that she is liking the place!

You doing alright otherwise?

Lisa said...

*passes the big bottle of cheap chardonnay around*

Anonymous said...

AP, I'll take one.

Lisa said...

It's making the rounds of all us lushes, Sandy. ;-)

kristin said...

*RiM's "first" birthday
*Sandy's "C" coming home
*Karen's mom's divorce being finalized
*Margaret's hubby's first day at new job
*to AP for the Daisy's
*to Molly and her damn owl box :)
*to all the lurkers out there - come say hi and take a drink!

*****CHEERS******

and whatever the else I can raise my glass to.

manda said...

Cheap wine is totes my fave!

Lisa said...

*****CHEERS******

Back atcha! *clinks*

Lisa said...

I better duck - CM is probably going to hit me with the bottle for being a bad parent. ;-)

manda said...

Cheers, AP! I think you are an awful, terrible, no good mom for locking your kid in your car to get gas.

No, of course I really don't. I trust your judgement far more (not that it matters, does it?) then a certain MckBlockHead.

I hope you weren't offended by what I wrote.

manda said...

AP, NOOO!!!!

You are NOT a bad parent! It's just not something that *I'm* comfortable doing!

Geez. I feel like kind of an asshole. :)

kristin said...

I remember sitting on my father's lap "driving" the van when I was little and walking in the van while on road trips :)

Lisa said...

CM, I'm just playing with you...you most certainly should not feel like an asshole and trust me, I'm not even a little offended!

Lisa said...

Kristin, same here and when we lived way out in the boonies, I'd let Jake stand between my legs and drive us home from a couple of miles away while I worked the gas and brakes. He was maybe 4 when I started it, could barely see over the dash and thought it was the grandest thing ever. He still remembers how fun it was!

manda said...

Oh, my dad let us "drive" when we were little too, it was the best! It's too bad that Harper's mama is such a freak of nature and probably won't let her out of a booster seat until she's 12. I have a major fear of car accidents.

Lisa said...

CM, I'd never, ever do that on a regularly traveled road but when she's older, if you can find a familiar rural road, give her a thrill. If she stands between your legs or sits in your lap, you'll still really have control of everything but she won't realize it. :-)

Life full of bRATS said...

Ap- No one can not like us, it's impossible.

Doing better now, sorta been extremely lazy today, like, haven't yet donned actual underwear.. lazy (there is no tag on sweats saying you need underwear) ;) And I'm currently sipping chocolate milk through a straw while watching a tivo'd episode of Cats 101 with my two smalls (Smalls meaning the 4 year olds ry and lessy). They're both so tired that ehy don't even care we're not watching yu-gi-oh, transformers.. etc. Pokemon isn't bad, and we have all the 'old' episodes on video.. they also love enchanted, so do I, it's our funny movie we giggle through it and i sing along..

But enough about my boring, pantyless existance.

FTWmommy? must check it out

I like MWoP but, won't comment there yet. Not comfortable with the sheeple to regular peopel population.

Oooh cheap chardonay? Gimmee

Saying of the day

"The dramallamas start breeding and every now and then a brave soul must run out and scare them off a cliff, it's the only way to stop the madness."- Kay, Lfob, origing (c) 2009 tm patent pending....etc

Life full of bRATS said...

I spelled origingal origing.. go me :D

manda said...

AP, my mother has seriously fucked me up. I'm majorly high-strung because of her. Don't get me wrong, I think my mother is amazing, but she definitely gave me the paranoid gene. :)

Life full of bRATS said...

I spelled it wrong in my correct..haha. ORIGINAL.. like the chicken.

Lisa said...

Ah, Kay, catch the bottle. *girl-throws it*

If you're supposed to wear underwear with sweats, they'd not be fuzzy and absorbent.

manda said...

Lfob- Classic. Truly. Both the quote and the second misspelling. Aces. :)

manda said...

Wait. Do people wear underwear with sweats? Why???

Lisa said...

Ahh, CM, if you were raised by one of those, then yeah..it'll carry over. Mine pretty much worked with odds. "What are the odds she can die? Oh, not bad...let's do it." I take after her.

Robin in Montana said...

My dad used to let us "drive" the feed truck while he stood in the back and threw hay out for the cows. The truck would be in 'granny gear' and typically the snow so deep that it just followed the ruts, but we sure thought were hot crap. But by the time I was maybe 12 (11? trying to think. Probably 12.) I drove the tractor pulling the swather or rake. Both of my kids have been allowed to drive on forest service roads with us right there, and they both have their own 4-wheelers and I let them drive mine, too, but I know for sure I'd not feel comfortable putting Cami on a tractor pulling a piece of moving equipment, though!

I'm going to pass on the wine, but I'll take anything hard if you have it, AP. What? It's 5 somewhere, plus it's my birthday.

Waiting to leave, but I'm apparently getting a delivery of some sort and have to wait. ::wiggling like a puppy:::

And AP, you kind of scarred me for life just now with that undies/sweats comment.

Robin in Montana said...

Oh, CM, I have things I'm paranoid about, too, but things like I'm just relatively positive they'll silp and fall off a cliff like overlooking waterfalls or something. But I'll put them on a 4-wheeler and horses. Go figure. I'm a contradiction. lol.

kristin said...

Loving the sweat comments - I typically do that after taking a shower - I know - tmi!

I did giggle though at LFoB's original comment about being pantyless!

Ap- Have I told you lately that I love you?

Lisa said...

I know what youuuuuu're geeeeeetttttinnnnnnng!

The one thing I can tolerate about PW is when she shows pics of her kids driving those trucks...cutest thing ever and so darn safe but I just know it kills some people. Out where you live, there's no harm.

And yes, I have rum. When do I not have rum. Catch!

Lisa said...

"Ap- Have I told you lately that I love you?"

No, so maybe you should tell me again. :-)
And know it's returned. I think you're...you're...aces!

Robin in Montana said...

I agree about the thing with PW - I know there has been huge uproar a couple of times about the kids driving or being in the vehicles without seatbelts. Relax, people, they live on the prairie, flat as a whistle for 100 miles either direction, and they're probably going 10 miles an hour, tops. What are they going to do, hit a rattlesnake and roll it? lol

Thanks for the rum! I have Diet Pepsi and lime, so I'm set.

Life full of bRATS said...

I let my kids drive. It's safe.. I mean, my 4 year olds don't do anything unattended but my 11 year old can drive around property with permission.. to do a set task. I learned to drive at 5? 6ish.

manda said...

RiM- Seriously, the thoughts that run through my head are disturbing, and i'm pretty sure it's not natural, but I just can't help it. I think of the worst possibilties.

kristin said...

LFoB - don't say that too loud - you may have to face SW.

and my mind is so in the gutter - I keep hearing one of the guys talking and then repeating it b/c it is so darn funny!

he had it in his hand and was pumping it....yeah....I repeated it and then we all had a good laugh.

Then I listened a little later ...it was all wet.

Yes, we are talking about plumbing and water features here.

:)

Robin in Montana said...

CM - I am sorry, I do understand that kind of almost paralyzing fear about things, even though you know that realistically X isn't going to happen, the fact that it *could is always there. I don't know ifI've mentioned it, but my mom was in a car accident when she was 18 that nearly killed her and left her disabled the rest of her life, and I know she struggled a lot with "irrational" fear- I know my Dad really worked to help her try and balance that.

Robin in Montana said...

Kristin -- lol. That conversation is just begging for "That's what s/he said" comments. lol.

Life full of bRATS said...

Ap I love you :D

My kids don't /always/ wear seatbelts, like, if we have a truck full of hay and are going to drop it at the barn, like if we're chilling out and drive down the road a bit to see a neighbour. I'm not to worried myself.. I guess I just grew up like that, and I-

*oohh look a squirrel squirrel squireell hee you guys see da squirrel!*

-Have any problems at all.

manda said...

RiM, a while back I was an accident, it took me a long time before I was able to be a passenger without having a panic attack. Sometimes, I still do. I don't know why I am the way I am, I'd rather be safe then sorry I guess. I'm getting better as Harper gets older, I'm trying for her, she shouldn't have a mom who's afraid of everything.

Lighter things, more wine please!!!

kristin said...

I too had a horrible accident when I was 18 - 2 days before college started - spent 2 weeks in the hospital.

I used to have panic attacks when it rained (because it was raining when I had the accident) - on occasion I still will but it is very rare.

Lisa said...

I just opened a Twitter account. What the hell do I do from here?

manda said...

Kristin, i'm fairly certain we chatted about this before. Car accidents equal no fucking good. :)

manda said...

AP, write something?

kristin said...

LMAO AP - if you want to send a tweet - you have to put @MckMama, etc and then write what you want.

What is your name (I'm assuming it's AP) so I can follow?

manda said...

I'm a bad mom! I'm a bad mom! Harper eats raisins almost everyday! i'm a bad mom just like MckCheesewad!

bwahahahaha!!!

Life full of bRATS said...

I guess my only real fear is that my kids will be these kids I know, they're triplets. The mother drives them to school every morning and instead of being normal, and going home and relishing her alone tv/dish/sex time. She volunteers in her kids school. ALL DAY. I must also mention these kids are now in 7th grade, and she volunteers at there school. They don't know how to ride a bike. She wouldn't let them learn. They're never outside.. even though they're more likely to get struck by lightning then a car.. I feel like she's 'stunted' them emotionally/physically. :(

kristin said...

oh, that's bad LFoB! Poor kids.

Lisa said...

Right now I'm letting it look for people in my address book. I'm kind of scared...I swore I'd never tweet. If I do, that means I'll have twatted and lord, I thought I gave that up. And it's AnemonePie.

Okay, I'm a wine lightweight. I'm going to go nap a bit and come back to this.

kristin said...

Have a good nap - you make me laugh girl!

I would never leave Hannah in the car:

1 - someone could take her
2 - when I was prego I saw an interview with a woman who strapped her kids in and then ran back in the house for something - she came out and the car was on fire.
3 - my mom used to leave my sister, brother and I in the car when she went into a store and I used to be scared

I would however like to throw raisens at JM - backward facing, off the glass, nothing but net

Anonymous said...

Ditto Margaret. It's just common sense.

Margo said...

LFoB - there is a gang of women who spend all day long at my daughter's school - not exactly sure what that's about...

Robin in Montana said...

No delivery ...

Anonymous said...

A few women has been arrested here for doing that. One Christmas a lady took her two kids and a friend to drop money they collected into the Salvation Army kettle. The mom was not more than 10 feet away from her car and she was arrested. Her two year old was inside sleeping. This went to court and everything. She won because the car was within her sight etc.

Anonymous said...

The police treated her very badly too. She was placed in handcuffs in front of her children. It was really sad.

Margo said...

We've had a few cases around here where a parent was supposed to take a kid to daycare before work, forgot and left the child in the car all day.

Then there is the case of the kid in my backyard who just peed her pants rather than missing one moment of playing outside...

Life full of bRATS said...

I live in Az. NEVER ever would I ever. Ever leave my kids in the car, because A. I remember when I was younger being very scared left in the car, of someone hurting me.
B. Someone could steal your kids.

c. If you left the engine on (for air conditioning of course) It could stall out

d. The kids could leave the car, if to scared of if they seem to think you are taking to long. Thus being in serious danger.

My main point though?

E. Because I live where it gets pretty hot, I'd HAVE to leave the engine on. Risks of it stalling out mean my kids could be over heated quickly, also they could drive the car somewhere. When I was 3/4 me and my friend tiffy where involved in 'stealing a nieghbours car, putting it in neutral and having it roll down a drive way into the desert where it eventually stopped (with us inside). This lady was a poor babysitter (obviously?) and my dad pushed that car back into the driveway hoping the elderly lady would never ever know. She told him years later that she'd watched them push it back ;).. Moral? Kids can do things like that. Keifer (Big mac???) is old enough to do it. He could really really get hurt, or worse killed.

End rant.

Robin in Montana said...

Margaret -- I LOL. And feel your pain. Except my kid, the youngest, has not found a place she doesn't feel comfortable peeing if the urge strikes her.

My cousin was 'investigated' by CPS for ... long story, I'll make it short. His son was gosh, I forget how old exactly, but I want to say maybe 3 or 4-ish. Walking in downtown area, holding my cousin's hand, saw their car across the street, jerked out of Chris's hand and ran out into traffic. Got hit, got thrown a good distance, spent months in therapy for his back and so on. Fast forward sometime, they're downtown again, kid again jerks away from Chris and takes off running for the car - Chris, understandably, freaks out, grabs him and spanks his butt two or three times. A woman sees this, sees Chris's (to her) extreme reaction and decides it's child abuse, calls the cops and investigation ensues. NOthing happened to him, but I know it was horribly stressful for them.

Anonymous said...

I agree Kay..those are all good reasons. I live in TX and I think it is illegal to leave a child in a car because there have been so many deaths.

I'm back...it was a nice nap. :-)

I live in Florida and I left Jake in the truck to do fast errands, but not randomly and not just anywhere. Safe places, daylight, truck (SUV) within sight at all times (with dark tinted windows so no one could see him), always locked, running and alarmed. Never for more than literally under 5 minutes and never when he was awake until he was old enough to tell me he wouldn't be scared. If the truck stalled? No big deal, not that it ever did. He wasn't going to overheat in less than 5 minutes in a car just cooled with a/c, in any climate. No one was going to steal the truck, locked and alarmed, before I could get to it. Fire or explosion? Oh, I suppose so but that could happen with me in the car too. I figure the odds are greater of being in a bad car accident than that. If a parent is cautious, I just don't see any real harm to it.

I am a horrible parent. I am reading over at MWOP and though yes I realize that laws and regulations have changed seriously kids always stay the same. My kids were forward facing by the time they were a year old. They were both in booster seats at 2 and by age 5 were out of car seats completely.

My kids ate in the car. They had french fries and raisins and M&M's...all which are big no no's for little ones. They didnt die from it.

My kids were encouraged to play in the mud and the dirt and not wash their hands all of the time. They didnt get a bath everyday unless they really did need it.

Shannon said...

Oh and yes I left my kids in the car to pop in to places to pay bills and such.

Now granted I get what MWOP is saying about the hypocrisy that is JM but I guess this is one issue I cant throw stones at her for.

Lisa said...

"My kids ate in the car. They had french fries and raisins and M&M's...all which are big no no's for little ones. They didnt die from it.:

I'm with you. I remember handing Jake a french fry in the car when he was about 3 months old and he'd cried when he smelled my lunch I'd just picked up. He'd never had one and he was in awe of that thing. He wound up sort of eating 3 of them and I thought it was hilarious. Then he acted like he was thirsty so I pulled over and decided to see what he could do with a straw. He could use one, albeit it messily, so he washed his fry mush down with a couple of sips of orange soda. His dad nearly came unhinged when I told him. :-D

I guess my big fear of kids in the car stems from having accidentally locked my dog in the car, in summer.

I watched her pant and whine as I waited for a locksmith, and I freaked when she fell asleep that she was dying. It was 90+ that day.. So yeah :/ scarred for life after that one. She was fine, but still..

Shannon said...

See Kay you live where it is dreadfully hot a lot of the days of the year. Here in Oregon we get maybe 12 super hot days a year...super hot meaning over 90 LOL On days like that I dont even let the dogs in the car and when the kids were little I stayed home if at all possible.

I mean I think it is more of a common sense thing then anything else...but unfortunately enough people in this world dont have any of that so we all have to suffer.

Lisa said...

Kay, I get how an experience like that could cause you fear, yes. I guess my lack of fear of doing this comes from knowing a situation where everything in the world was done right with a baby and she was still killed in the middle of the day, broad daylight, backseat restrained by a paranoid grandfather in a big-ass Mercedes when they were broadsided in a busy intersection by a delivery truck. Nothing is foolproof and that defied the "safe" odds far more than leaving a kid in a car for a few moments with common sense precautions in place.

Life full of bRATS said...

*nods* I understand Ap :/ sometimes you just can't help what goes wrong. If it helps when we DO leave our kids i nthe car, I get left too. Because if taking kids into a store is annoying, taking me in is worse ;)

Bella, I've been to the Hurricane, yup! Shaner's wasn't ringing a bell so I Googled it and I've been there, too. It may have gone by a different name, though, since it was back in the early and mid-90's that we'd go. Or maybe my memory just sucks. If the rain stays away, the temperatures are going to be perfect for you - 80-ish, I think.

I like WW. I think it's pretty easy. You can get eating out guides & such so you can determine the point of the stuff you eat out and you get a little point calculator (it's like a cardboard slide thingy) and it's pretty easy to calculate. It's worked well when I've stayed on it. All told I've lost about 10 lbs in 2 months, but I've also done a lot more strength training, so I know muscle weighs more.

Well, it's early (9:15) but I am going to bed. Exhausted. :) Night Daisies! Hope you had a great day, Robin! (I didn't read all of the posts i missed so I might have missed some about what you did)

Kristin, I lost about 60 lbs on WW the first time. Now, some has crept back on, so I'm back on the plan. I tend to become "points-obsessed", though, so now I am doing the Core plan, where you can eat what you want off a list of pre-approved foods. And, I do it online, because the meetings skeeve me out for some reason.

All in all, it's a good way to be more mindful of what you put in your mouth.

Goodnight, Tayia :)

night Taiya!

Bella/Lindsay - I'm seriously thinking of doing it! I am thinking of doing the boot camp and I want to look *good again b/c I feel like a slob and ugly.

Has anyone used sparkpeople.com? It seems to have some of the same things as WW. It has exercise videos, too and it's free.

Anonymous said...

Kristin, you should try it. WW is doing a promo right now where you can try the online plan for a week, for free.

Night Taiya!

K - From what I can tell, you aren't an ugly slob :) My problem is that I'm not using my flex points, so I don't think I'm eating enough. Especially when I am exercising. I think that's why I'm not losing more weight. I really try to only eat 20 points a day, because in my mind, the less you eat, the more weight you'll lose, but that's not the way it works.

Hubby did it online a couple of years ago, so I'm just using all his materials. A group of friends meet and weigh in and share recipes once a week.

Lindsay said...

Christy - I have a friend who uses it and really likes it. I also have another friend who is using either clickfit.com or fitclick.com I can't remember which one and it's kind of like facebook for dieters. I guess you can put together your own group and stuff.

Lindsay, I found I stopped losing weight when I didn't eat all my points! When I did points, and I ate my point max, I would lose 2-3 lbs a week. If I ate less, I wouldn't lose. I think if you eat too little, your body goes into starvation mode.

Another good site is CalorieKing.com. It tells you your calorie range for weight loss, and you just don't go over that range.

Lindsay said...

Bella - I know, I guess I just have to change my mindset. It just seems backwards to me, but I'm sure that's my problem - I need to eat more!

RiM, you still here? I found a birthday present for you, from you :D

Vajazzling. http://www.completelybare.com/brazilian-bikini-wax.php

A Brazilian, with Swarovski crystals glued on to your lady bits, for flair.

Lindsay said...

Bella - you'd better put that in the "best of" collection. Vajazzling! LOL!

I think Jay would scream like a lady if I flashed *that in the sack.

By "scream like a lady", I mean not in a good way.

180 degree turn-

MckMama is giving away one of those flower hats to someone who sponsors a child through Compassion and leaves a comment.

Now, if I wanted that hat, wouldn't I just pay $10 to buy it, rather than spend $38 a month on a child for a chance to win the $10 hat?

Or, am I missing something?

kristin said...

LMAO Bella - right?

Lindsay said...

Yes, but imagine the incredible high you would get for being "honored" publicly on her blog. That in itself is priceless and worth at least the $38/month.

Shannon said...

HAHAHA you guys are kind of dorks....but I love you all any way :)

And Bella how would you be able to have it framed and mounted as a win from the great and wondrous JM if you just bought it?

Anonymous said...

I sense quite a few children becoming unsponsored in the next few months...most of them from Mckmama's followers.

Anonymous said...

Shannon, just because you have been away vajazzling yourself doesn't mean you can call us dorks :D

kristin said...

well if the sheeple unfollow - I'm sure that MckMama will sponsor them, since they are cutting back on their cellphone plans and maybe giving back a phone or two.

Lindsay said...

Shannon has a va-j-j that shines like a disco ball (in the words of Jennifer Love Hewitt)!

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHA I have sooo thought about getting one of those so my husband can flash it at any chicks that try to hit on him :D "Back of ladies, I am married and have this constant reminder of that which my wife uses to keep me interested" LOL

Shannon said...

That would be freaking awesome Lindsay

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I'm sure, Kristin. Maybe she'll have to cut down on her data plan to sponsor. No more blocking comments and twatting on the fly.

Lindsay said...

K - Ooooh. Is that what they were cutting back on? Their cell plans? Alert the media. Isn't that what *normal people give up first? Get out. I suppose they might get 2 more kids out of that. Maybe.

Anonymous said...

I think a vajazzle treatment would be chafing, but maybe that's just me.

kristin said...

That is what was mentioned on their blog - they were looking at their plans and cutting back and RV asked how many kids could they sponsor with the money they saved.

And as far as the vajazzling - what if one comes loose - that would just be uncomfortable and a little unsafe - I would think.

Lindsay said...

And I bet the vajazzling costs an arm and a leg. I wonder if you can shower with the stick on crystals. I would hate for them to fall off after you spent so much on them!

Shannon said...

I honestly dont know if you could even function normally with all that done?

My sons are talking about Beavers right now. And it's funny on so many levels. They are actually talking about OSU, Shannon. I'm trying really, really hard not to laugh.

Lindsay said...

Bedazzled beavers. Ha! Okay, I'll pull it up out of the gutter.

Lindsay said...

Now that I killed it with my bad joke, I'm going to go take a bubble bath and finish New Moon the book. See you ladies!

Anonymous said...

Have fun, Lindsay :) Goodnight!

Shannon said...

HAHAHA that is too damn funny....maybe when I become a Beaver I will see about getting one of the stuffed animals and bedazzle it so I can share it with everyone LOL

Anonymous said...

I'm putting a Bedazzled Beaver on my Christmas wish list.

kristin said...

LMAO!

Okay ladies - I'm going to bed - I'm in a pissy mood - gonna go curl up with my book and watch the news.

*see ya tomorrow!

g'night!

Night, Kristin, hope you feel happier tomorrow.

kristin said...

thanks bella - it's just a bit of everything and then coming home to a defiant 3 year old who "hears" me but doesn't listen.

I'm jealous of your Florida trip.

Speaking of which - anyone know of any good places to stay in Destin?

If you do, e-mail me - the fam is looking at going to Destin instead of a cruise. Looking at renting a place - gotta hold 9 adults - 2 kids(maybe) and one baby.

Alright, I'm really out now!

Hey Kristin, thanks for the Survivor heads up. I just got it now, but thankfully found that Survivor was on and got it in time. WOW it was good!!! No spoilers for the left coasters, but man it was good! I freaking love this season!
