You are thinking of Jenna, SW, but I didn't care much for Barbara before this interview. She was very likable too! I officially like the "other" twin too.
RP, you were *5 when the Lost Boys came out? [insert vile expletive here] I loved that movie, so much. Jason Patric was so dang hot. Loved him even more in Rush.
SW- something like that :) Well, I'm going to mosey. Meeting the BF and the kiddo down at the stadium for a little wake-boarding. I love Southern California! See you guys tomorrow!
Maybe I need some drugs. Mr. Tara just called and asked me to start baked potatoes for our dinner, that HE'S making, and I pouted and said no. Clearly, I have issues today.
Tara- I was totes *NOT* down with the whole Twilight Saga. Then I watched the first movie, just cause it was on, and I think I might be a fangbanger. *hangs head in shame*
I haven't read the books or anything, I've heard they're poorly written, but if the second movie, New Moon, came on I probably wouldn't turn it off :)
Holy Crap, Jill! Was Glee awesome last week or what? The storyline with the gay kid and his dad and the jock kid and his Mom was so sweet, sad, funny, etc. Glee is an awesome show. Tuesday nights rock.
We've just discovered a bird nest with a mama bird in our pine tree. Those poor eggs are probably as good as gone. Thing 3 will either throw the football at it until he successfully knocks it down, or they'll shout, "HI BIRDIE!!!!!" so many times the mama will fly away. I snapped a ton of pictures just in case either of the above happens.
RP: "Fangbanger" HAHAHAHA I hadn't hear that one before.
We have one independently owned coffee shop that is about 4 miles away and the next closest one is 15 miles away. Yeah. Not exactly saturated here. Glad, though, because the 2 independently owned ones are way better than the Starbucks or Biggby that are in town (45 min away).
Mulie - my son does that when he has Strep Throat. I am up to eyebrows in goo at work, but that? That had me queezy (hybrid of queasy and wheezy) to no end. Hope he feels better soon!
KaytieJ- we find out on Thursday for sure, but she sure is in a different position. She has had what I am sure is her head jabbed out my left side for 2 weeks. I have had a completely lopsided belly(which my husband has continuously laughed at). Then today she did something and when i laid down and felt my belly there was nothing on the left and something that felt different on the right. Too much explanation? I am just excited about the possibility!
i'm glad you got AC. this summer while i fry, i will think of the nice cool air you will be experiencing. i'm always glad for night, when it cools down to 80 in the house.
Oh, and even better - this fix is very, very temporary. That's not the better part. I was standing there with my $3000 estimate for a new one and he suddenly asks how much I really need heat. I don't. Long story short, all I really need is the outside part and if I don't mind still living without heat unless I want to get my gas turned back on, he's got a good used unit, he tells me. We talk and Sunday, it gets installed - a 5 year old Carrier. Total cost, $400 and that includes today's repair. I am a happy, happy girl.
WCK- my honeymoon was 5 years ago. haha. Coffee shops were a novel thing, since the only time I got froofy coffee before that was when I drove someone to or from a major airport- several hours away. The year of our honeymoon is when they started to build the first starbucks here. My Mom called us on our honeymoon and told us because it was big news. :)
TWG- I am with you. We have a window unit for upstairs for DD because she gets sick when she gets hot, and one for us, but we don't have a/c in our house otherwise. We use big, loud fans a lot in the summer.
T@iy@ - Not TMI - it is exciting! And I know how worried you are at the possibility of a C with your history. I need to hit the shower - be back in a bit.
Yeah, I found out I am buying one! :) ha. You *can rent them through the hospital, but our insurance doesn't cover any of it, so we are just going to buy one. We figure that way when we are done having kids we can just pass it on to someone who will need one then. We can afford it and then we don't have to worry about if something happens to it.
Rhys, I so hope Lia's troubles are over! And gosh, that's low humidity so that's good, at least. Our runs around 70 day and night and often much higher.
AP that is so awesome....hell you live in Florida if you need heat you have blankets and cats :)
Taiya my mother loves to tell the story of the day that I moved into position. I guess her and my father were laying in bed and suddenly I decided it was time to get ready. She had to nearly do a back bend and they got to see an impression of my butt as it traveled across her belly.
I sincerely hope that the little lady is where she belongs now and saves mom some anxiety and unnecessary surgery to get here :)
as far as O2 goes, i am fairly certain lia's troubles are over. her lungs are scarred, sure, but they are renewing themselves. we went to 7000 a couple of months ago, she was pink and active. (: that means at least 8000 should be attainable.
TWG like AP I am so happy that Lia is getting better with the world with her lungs. Sure she has other hurtles and such but dammit those puppies were a big one. I cant wait to hear the stories about the adventures the four of you have out exploring and actually getting to put the things you love doing back in your life :)
So why would someone think that changing our names is for hiding? I mean really it is funny shit and just shows that we, unlike some, have a sense of humor.
Taiya- we don't have central air either. If you can swing it try to get another window unit for any other upstairs bedrooms you have. If I keep my upstairs cool, I can keep the downstairs cool as well with no ac down here. It's not as nice as upstairs, but better than outside. I can't remember where you live, but here it is hot and humid to death.
I was out watering the garden earlier la,la,la. Minding my own business...the pipe had a split in it and flooded my damn laundry room. To quote CPT "why, why, why?". At least the floor is clean now.
Margaret- we have units down here as well, but if I can get it cool, I can usually get it to stay cool-ish. We have a *lot of shade in the back. But you know- it's not the heat. It's the humidity. *Public service announcement: People who live with the humidity DO NOT want to hear that bullshit phrase. We *already know.
Mr. Foley, then...I know you can't use Draino and such for clogs when you have septic. Do I have to snake the sink? Or do you know if there is something septic safe I can use?
I really don't want to snake the sink. I'm askeered of what may come up.
EL- doesn't work for us with how our house is set up. We have 2 upstairs rooms and the landing. We put one a/c in the landing and that keeps DD's room plenty comfy and we put one in our room and keep our room *cold like we like it! It's not too big of a deal. We put fans that blow straight through our house, Have a spare room that stays cool because it only has one window and that is under a huge maple tree, and we have kiddie pools for DD if she gets too hot. We have even put a tarp in the house and put a little bit of water in one of them for her to play in. We manage.
Bella- I have used draino also, and not only do I have septic, but old cast iron pipes as well. I put it in before bed so it can sit. Is it your bathroom or your kitchen sink?
EL, it's in my upstairs bathroom. I think it's a glob of hair (gross) as it's where I do my hair every morning. We're pretty careful with our septic, because it's an old system, and I don't want a poop-plosion in the backyard.
"poop-plosion" conjures a replay of that scene in RV with Robin Williams when the septic explodes because he is inept. Yes, I watch family movies. I am especially vile and my favorite movies are the ones that are cute with happy endings. Even if they are excessively corny and geared towards children. :)
Bella- That happens with our bathroom sink. I unscrew the pipes (only from the sink to the wall) and soak them in hot water and ammonia for a few hours. I have to use a bottle brush. It is not only hair, it's other build up, soap scum etc. It is *way gross, but I don't have to do it often.
Wow, that was a lot of enthusiasm. I very recently discovered that baking soda is the only thing that got the stuff off my shower walls. After I bought about 47 different cleaning products that didn't work. So I have some major baking soda love right now.
Well, all of this drain/cleaning talk is scintillating, but I am off to bed despite that.
Night everyone.
TWG- you have an amazing daughter, and you are an amazing mother. You have been through a lot, but you have a beautiful family to show for it! I hope things are on an upswing for you and Lia. ((hugs))
I'm feeling a little lightheaded from spraying sealant on Mother's Day crafts. I did do this outdoors and let them mostly dry but they are stinking up my classroom something bad.
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Jill, 13 more days? :-D
Yes 13 days!!!
Oh, and Corey Haim did not die of a drug overdoes, he died from pneumonia complicated by an enlarged heart.
Jill, Hi!
I was madly in love with Corey Haim when I was 5. I would watch The Lost Boys, even though it scared the bejeebus out of me, just cause he was in it.
Lucas is probably my fave, though.
LUCAS! LUCAS! LUCAS!
"Oh, and Corey Haim did not die of a drug overdoes, he died from pneumonia complicated by an enlarged heart."
Those are generally drug related issues. Same type of thing Brittany Murphy died from.
Nice to see you again, CM/RP. :o)
Enjoyed having you here today RP. Keep coming back!
I think Lost Boys is what turned me off to all things Twilight all these years later.
SW - it's a news article about AI's Crystal KnockMySoxOff
http://tinyurl.com/39swn89
This article made me think. http://ephphatha-poetry.blogspot.com/2010/04/imagine-if-tea-party-was-black-tim-wise.html
Yay! It's AI night! And Lost night! Yay!
And Parenthood! And The Good Wife!
CK, that's a good story on Mama Sox!
Hey ladies! So not caught up but just wanted to say hi! Making dinner.
I just realized that my name looks too much like someones, I may have to change my alter ego.
AND GLEE!!!
Damn, I'm a threat.
Holy Crap, Jill! Was Glee awesome last week or what? The storyline with the gay kid and his dad and the jock kid and his Mom was so sweet, sad, funny, etc. Glee is an awesome show. Tuesday nights rock.
Hi WONder Woman! Who the hell are ya?
I'm SO glad my husband likes living with a dangerous woman.
Be very afraid....
lol...i was a platypus yesterday...going to go change right now :)
Lordy. I gotta start making identity charts.
lol...SW!
okay - that's better!
Does anyone else have 10 coffee shops within a 5 mile radius of their house? The market a bit saturated, dontcha think?
Are you Nitsirk?
market = market's
SW it was great.
I loved the Madonna ep too.
She-Ra is awesome. I used to love that cartoon.
OMG She-Ra!
CK I don't have a coffee shop within 10 miles of here.
RP I'm a True Blood "fangbanger"
Edward is a weenie compared to Eric and Bill.
Jill,
You'll have to open your own!
We don't have that many coffee shops in the south. You can git sweet tea pretty much anywhere, tho!
One of the clubs sells sweet tea as a fundraiser at school. The rake in the cash.
Minnesota is the home of Caribou Coffee. Not as many Starbucks here. No SweetTea Shoppes that I know of (other than MickyDees).
Do you like sweet tea CK?
We have a coffee shop IN our church. Everybody drinks coffee here.
SW: I do! Mr. Tara makes Sweet tea almost every day.
Only if it starts out not sweet, and I add Equal or Truvia.
My meno-pot doesn't much need the calories.
Caribou used to have Mango Iced Tea - mmmmm....
Jill- Isn't that the truth about Bill and Eric (be still my mortal heart)?
CK said: "Only if it starts out not sweet, and I add Equal or Truvia." Thanks for playing, CK. But *that is *not sweet tea!
Pardon my interruption, but I have sir conditioning!!
Go on back to what you were talking about.
We have one independently owned coffee shop that is about 4 miles away and the next closest one is 15 miles away. Yeah. Not exactly saturated here. Glad, though, because the 2 independently owned ones are way better than the Starbucks or Biggby that are in town (45 min away).
Lol...make that AIR conditioning. I'm a little bit excited.
ap
you have *sir* conditioning? the mind quails.
we have one coffee shop in the nearest town. LDS don't drink caffeinated beverages
SW - does *yours have real sugar, or that nasty high fructose corn syrup?
Rhys, don't pick on me. I've had a rough few days. :-P
Sweet tea...mmmm.
What's up lovely ladies?
Where's CK- Caribou Coffee was my fav coffee shop to go to when we were traveling out west on our honeymoon several years ago. Yummm.
Root Vegetable - you too could have a starring role in my cartoons I've been writing, directing, editing and producing!
Taiya - Wonderful news on Eeq possibly head down and ready to jet!
AP - Hope your A/C is up and running.
and because of all you vile alter egos, I am broiling bacon for breakfast - aluminum foil shiny side down. smells so good :-D
SW - my NOLA friend brought me some Sweet Tea Vodka. I have only had a titch of it awhile back, but it was very good.
Darn AP, I was hoping I could "sir condition" you
T@iy@,
I don't buy much there anymore - pretty expensive. Or I'll buy a large and put half in the frig when I'm done and have the next day.
But I do use their free wireless.
WCK - have your people call my people. I'll need car service though because, well, um, I can't exactly drive there myself.
She has had what I am sure is her head jabbed out my left side for 2 weeks. i'm glad you got AC. this summer while i fry, i will think of the nice cool air you will be experiencing. i'm always glad for night, when it cools down to 80 in the house.
Holy crap, AP! That's fantastic! I'm so relieved for you. And for me. Cause I was sweating by proxy.
CK, how did your husband's interview go? Did he say/know?
Only real sugar in sweet tea!
Oh God, RV came to claim his AP. There's gonna be a fight. ::taking off jacket::
TWG- I am with you. We have a window unit for upstairs for DD because she gets sick when she gets hot, and one for us, but we don't have a/c in our house otherwise. We use big, loud fans a lot in the summer.
Holy crap again AP! $400? You must be living right!
T@iy@ - Not TMI - it is exciting! And I know how worried you are at the possibility of a C with your history. I need to hit the shower - be back in a bit.
Did you find out about a breast pump?
Kaytie, I've had the sweet tea vodka..it is very good!
Root Vegetable, you behave yourself. I'm sorry you r fucked up your driving privileges, though.
Rhys, is your heat fairly dry, at least?
oooooooo, i LOVE those kinds of savings! awesome.
Oh - CK, Hope the interview went well for Mr. CK!
taiya
we have a unit for the kids. that's it. the sun is brutal out here, thankfully, there is low humidity.
yay for eeq turning!
AP doesn't make enough money for this hunka hunka man love. I liked to be wined and dined before I'm sent off to my fish shack.
Yea for Sir Conditioning, AP. We're all glad - hopefully you'll be more comfortable.
Interview went well - won't know for a while.
Foo Foo coffee as I call it - can't drink it without lots of additives. Chocolate mint is my fav.
ap,
our humidity ranges from 5-10%. i know we're lucky. this volcanic rock, though, it heats up like mad. but we're good! (:
o, and, we should be able to hit the mountain lakes this summer. last year lia couldn't handle altitude. so far, we think that trouble is O.V.E.R.
yay!
"Oh God, RV came to claim his AP. There's gonna be a fight. ::taking off jacket::"
It's too hot for you to be wearing a jacket anyway.
I know, I was shocked at the price but he was honest...he got it for nothing and it'll take him 2-ish hours to install it, so win-win for us both.
ck
when will you know about the job?
Yeah, I found out I am buying one! :) ha. You *can rent them through the hospital, but our insurance doesn't cover any of it, so we are just going to buy one. We figure that way when we are done having kids we can just pass it on to someone who will need one then. We can afford it and then we don't have to worry about if something happens to it.
Rhys, I so hope Lia's troubles are over! And gosh, that's low humidity so that's good, at least. Our runs around 70 day and night and often much higher.
My fav froofy coffee has caramel and white chocolate. My go-to flavors.
By next week, TWG. Thank you all for thinking of him.
He looked good, at least. He is a younger man, after all.
I'm loving all this talk of breast pumps but I've got to head on down to the deli for some chicken - later my ladies.
Yuck, AP. Hot and muggy is a nasty combo!
AP - I love you even with smelly pits!
I'm just so touched that RV has taken to our nickname.
I sincerely hope that the little lady is where she belongs now and saves mom some anxiety and unnecessary surgery to get here :)
ap
as far as O2 goes, i am fairly certain lia's troubles are over. her lungs are scarred, sure, but they are renewing themselves. we went to 7000 a couple of months ago, she was pink and active. (: that means at least 8000 should be attainable.
TWG like AP I am so happy that Lia is getting better with the world with her lungs. Sure she has other hurtles and such but dammit those puppies were a big one. I cant wait to hear the stories about the adventures the four of you have out exploring and actually getting to put the things you love doing back in your life :)
alright ladies, I am gonna go get ready, I'm going out for a few drinks :)
Yeah for you AP!
Sorry for the sickies!
Yeah for you Taiya!
I hear ya on the heat and humidity AP and giving Rhys the evil eye!
Going to make myself presentable :)
twg- how have I not read about Lia before now? Wow! I am going to have to go read about your whole blog on her. What a cutie!
She-Ra you definitely need to work on that appearance girl....it is a fashion no-no to wear a dress that short with a cape that long
And dont have too much fun or you might blow your cover :)
So why would someone think that changing our names is for hiding? I mean really it is funny shit and just shows that we, unlike some, have a sense of humor.
I have no sense of humor, I have no idea what you are talking about.
I hate to tell you this but I have seen your sense of humor....you do have one....even if it is small and hidden away buried in vile
dear because it's funny
i have no sense of fun either. i'm working on it, i've heard you can get a funny transplant if you qualify.
maybe i do?
Bitter, vile people aren't funny.
Anybody have a spare copy of HideMyAss?
My copy isnt that big DTPMMALB
They are quite funny to other bitter, vile people
TWG I think as the worries begin to lift you will find that you have a lot of funny in ya....I have seen it sneak out :) You have a lot of funny in ya
Stealing wireless in my van down by the river.
WOOOHOOO you go MF....but be careful you know that it is considered naughty after all
Matt - Two Wild and Crazy Guys were here a few days ago! You missed them! Even if they were from a different decade of SNL.
Well, la-dee-frickin-da! Good for those wild and crazy guys.
b/c it's funny
i was trying to be funny
(:
Matt, will you be singing "Fat Guy in a Little Coat" later? I know that's not SNL, but funny none-the-less.
Matt - to you have a spot in your van for a racer chick?
Taiya - YAY on the pump. Glad you are going to buy one that you like.
AI watchers: Spoil away if you like :-D I do not have DVR and will miss the shows. Go Momma Socks!
Ginger - Hope your "vacation" is going well and that you are able to stay awake :-D
Nite all!
Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Hello, shapeshifters :) How are the dangerous Daisies tonight?
Evening Ladies...shook my wallet at the full moon and received a check for $84.00 the other day. Received check in the amount of $793.00 yesterday.
There is plenty of room in the van people.
Kenny- just a tip- watch your back.
I know. Bad things happen to me.
Yes. Yes they do. ::nods::
OK, next full moon, I'm out shaking my wallet.
Moon shaking is where it's at!
I hate it when Stan yells OMG they killed Kenny.
I'm watching Deadliest Catch - I'm so sad that Phil died
Kenny whoever kills you is a bastard.
I will be full moon shaking next time. Then maybe I can get out of this van down by the river.
I liked Phil, too, Margaret. I haven't watched the new season.
"Fat guy in a little coat....fat guy in a little coat..."
Hello!
What did I miss?
We're watching Deadliest Catch, too. Love this show.
"Deadliest Catch" has a whole new meaning here in the lower 48 these days. :(
My brother is an artist/dreamer type - he worked on a sword boat for a year and journaled about it. It's quite a life out there on the sea.
Robin - I heard the fisherman have already filed suit against BP.
It still needs to be proven that BP was negligent in the "accident."
But I suppose it doesn't hurt to be pro-active.
Hi Robin! Can I have your e-mail address?
Umm.. yeah. about diaper wreaths. Not for nefarious, vile reasons. Promise!
I am throwing a double baby shower in the end of July and i wanted to see about getting 2.
Yes, T@iy@!!
Uhmm...how do I get it to you without posting it here?
?
Umm.. AP- can I e-mail you and you can forward it to Robin? If that works I will just do that and you can have my e-mail. :)
K! Got it. You can delete it if you want, now. :)
I already jotted down the e-mail address - kidding. I think it's sad we have to worry about - you know...
How do you live without air Erin!
Deleted! :)
It will still be in the notes of people who subscribe, but whatever.
I can ditch it, if need be. And let anyone who has it that I *want* to get email know the new addy.
No problemo!
Margaret, the key is to *not worry. It's all good. Angry old monkeys banging on a keyboard, that's all!
I was out watering the garden earlier la,la,la. Minding my own business...the pipe had a split in it and flooded my damn laundry room. To quote CPT "why, why, why?". At least the floor is clean now.
Anyone here have septic? I have a crappy question to ask.
Ha!Ha!
I have septic in my van down by the river.
I do Bella.
We manage.
Bella I just consulted my plumber, he said that a little bit of Draino is ok.
Wow, Matt, you must have a good plumber. That was quick!
Why no Draino in septic? Never had to worry about it, but I do want to know.
I think it can eat away at the tank, or something like that.
Bella- I have used draino also, and not only do I have septic, but old cast iron pipes as well. I put it in before bed so it can sit. Is it your bathroom or your kitchen sink?
Good night ladies :)
I mean ladies and Matt!
EL, it's in my upstairs bathroom. I think it's a glob of hair (gross) as it's where I do my hair every morning. We're pretty careful with our septic, because it's an old system, and I don't want a poop-plosion in the backyard.
Night Margaret!
Good night, pit sniffer!
"poop-plosion" conjures a replay of that scene in RV with Robin Williams when the septic explodes because he is inept. Yes, I watch family movies. I am especially vile and my favorite movies are the ones that are cute with happy endings. Even if they are excessively corny and geared towards children. :)
Taiya, I laughed *so hard at that part in RV.
Again, did Sandy leave us for good? I miss her.
I bet we're all ON the Glist.
EL, thanks for the tip, I think I'll save that lovely chore for this weekend!
<---had to have septic tank replaced and new drain fields added a few years ago.
<--- psychoticly paranoid about pipes/drainage/shit in general
bella
shoot for baking soda and vinegar. it bubbles and cleans.
TWG - kitchen chemistry....
Baking soda, rocks! I love how baking soda cleans and the fact that I can skip the chemicals in cleaning supplies!
Another excellent thought, TWG, and less of me touching ick!
Wow, that was a lot of enthusiasm. I very recently discovered that baking soda is the only thing that got the stuff off my shower walls. After I bought about 47 different cleaning products that didn't work. So I have some major baking soda love right now.
bella
precisely. i also adore the bubbling. pour the baking soda in first.
then vinegar.

also - super super hot water can help. H2O2 as well.
Hello from the Weekend Update Newsroom.
I miss you too Bella! Muah!
((hugs))
Rosann Rosannadanna I've been channeling your hair lately.
I love my hair!
My dear Rosann, I'm so glad you have joined us! I'm sorry, but the only vile conversation tonight is what may be lurking in my bathroom sink pipes :)
It might be my hair! Sorry about that.
LOL, I think it *is hair of some sort!
Try a plunger on the sink.
You "ladies" are all so vile. You should all hide your faces in SHAME.
Tsk, Tsk.
Could it be...SATAN?!?
Church Lady will you dance for us?
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if you invited HIM to your foul Daisy-sniffing parties!
Hmph!
I am a Baptist, and we don't dance.
Could you do your little Church Lady shuffle then? I think you would inspire these vile Daisy Snifflers to see the light!
Oh, Lordy. I don't want to leave but I have an early day tomorrow. See y'all later!
Have we heard about Jake's family reunion yet?
Oh, and R2, love your yard!
Checking in. Hope everyone's well tonight!
I'm feeling a little lightheaded from spraying sealant on Mother's Day crafts. I did do this outdoors and let them mostly dry but they are stinking up my classroom something bad.
OMG I *loved the Church Lady skits!
Weeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllll, isn't THAT speshuuuuul?
Church Lady, I need help with my yard!

Is FWOP booming or something?
Or are we all just nosy? :-)
Who saw Lost? SW, you wept...you don't even have to tell me.
Church Lady doesn't engage in nosiness.
Church Lady, you posted the links. You've been playing pee pie over there and I know it.
Some nice lady gave me links. I was just nice enough to share them here with you "ladies."
I would NEVER use them myself.
Who died on Lost? Yah, I'm still here. Pray for me, Church Lady.
<----Praying for the one who is Lost.
"I'm gonna sit in my Pee Pie Pants all day."
Church Lady gives Bella an "S"
I'm not exactly sure who all died on Lost but I know who they made it look like they died. I'm scared to say for fear of ruining it for someone else.
