Alrighty, I altered the times a bit to allow for when traffic is heaviest...we'll have an auto-post at 11am and another at 6pm. Maybe that will help. If not, we might have to cave and look elsewhere for a cure. Thanks for that one place, Bella.
RF, how'd you break your tooth?
G'night, everyone...off to farm some then try bed, maybe. It's hot tonight.
OMG you Daisy's! I'm only half way through the afternoon today - and its after 2 am and I have to get up to get Tay in the am - but can I just say that the body armor wearing boob flopping flag discussion just had me cracking up out loud? and... like I said, half way through today! I hope to catch up tomorrow morning before Tay gets here!
Rhys... I am sorry if I was the first to bring up that I thought you said you would donate a photo.. really I wasn't trying to get you into doing something you didn't volunteer for - but the fact that you ARE doing it is awesome - and since I am so not crafty - I will be passing around the site info to all my friends on facebook and emails and stuff, and most likely bidding!!
FT!-FT!-FT! - So good to see you! On your comment to me about your feelings about being pregnant - you are not weird - I am the odd ball. I have rarely heard a woman say they hated the pregnant experience. I do like hearing other's experience of it and so thank you!
Kristin - Hon! You had an exhausting day - hope you get some good sleep. It might be a struggle and hurtful for awhile with him moving out, but you seemed so unhappy with him. Give yourself some time to heal up. ((()))
Apologies in advance if you don't agree with what I say or if you're offended by it. AP has always said that we're all welcome, opinions included if they're put forward in a respectful way. Here's my attempt at that.
It's strange, here on my own, reading, thinking. Thinking about 'us', OHIH, SIP, Daisy, Krista - yes I think about her from time to time, what she's doing, how she's doing, I'm like that, I care. She's still a person who feels, hates, loves. In her own way she brought us together but then she split us apart.
I'm still around, kinda. Somedays you guys make me laugh so much I snort my coffee out my nose or you make me think about things I might not have considered before. Other days I just want to come in and 'shout' just to think about other people's feelings for a moment.
Yes it can be funny to make jokes at other people's expense, we talk about other people behind their backs, we make assumptions, I've been guilty of them all at one time or another. We have our own opinions, ideas, view on the world etc. We have free will, anger, empathy and we all have feelings. They're what make us us, what make us unique in our own little ways. Behind a computer screen we're anonymous, faceless beings and it can make it easier to say things, voice opinions we'd normally keep to ourselves, me included. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine I've tried to be a respectful as possible. Again I'm sorry if I've upset/offended anyone but I've been thinking over it for quite a while. I hope you realise it comes from the heart and maybe a little bit from the head.
I miss the back and forth, the banter, the fun, the sharing of advice and of different ideas and opinions in an accepting and respectful way but I can't put myself out if I'm going be picked apart and put down. What happened at the end with OHIH and is still happening in the blogosphere and twitter was/is disturbing and I have enough stuff to deal with IRL (don't we all), getting upset over things online does me no good.
Maybe I'm just a bloody stupid Aussie who needs to get off her high horse and go back to keeping my mouth shut. I just hope you'll understand why I had to say my peace and if you don't agree with me that's fine but I hope you understand the feeling behind it.
Take care. Life's too short to get your knickers in a twist over.

Morning SG & Kristin - must leave for car pool, but I wanted to say a quick hi. Will have to go back later to read.
Kristin - hugs and love to you - I'll be thinking about you. Promise me you won't make any life changing decisions for a while, like deciding to become a man, or join the circus, or move in with AP. Take your time with this change....
Unisom worked, but I feel like crap from this stupid spring cold. Stupid play group. Why is everyone sick now when it is just getting gorgeous out?! Oh, well. Definitely could be worse.
Supposed to go to Shipshewana today, and work on cakes(those are separate, not going to Shipshe to work on cakes). Slacked last night and just baked the cupcakes and Abby. No frosting made, nothing decorated. *sigh* Just took some cold meds. then I am hoping to tackle the kitchen clean up and frosting making at least.
Kristin- Missed you yesterday! Sorry your day was so long, and about SO. How are you doing this morning?
Thanks, Kristin. I am waiting for Lindsay to come on so I can clobber her with my rolling pin. :) Someone said that she was the sick-with-a-cold Daisy. I am convinced if I do this then I will feel better. :D
::watching the door, anxiously awaiting Lindsay's entrance::
Anyone have any suggestions on an extremely dry heel? I had no idea how bad it was until it started to hurt yesterday. I slathered it with vaseline last night and put a sock on all night. Thought I'd see if there were any other suggestions?
I'm super edgy today. Between budget cuts and some other stuff going down at school it's not the place I want to be at right now. I am thankful for a 90 min planning so I can ease into my day.
Argh!! I want to go back to work b/c we need the cash and well other various reason. Just found an awesome sounding job but I'm afraid to apply cause I don't know what I'd do with the kids.
Ditto on the herniated disk elongated butt crack. I fell off my chair at work, herniated a disk. BAD pain in my shin, numb foot with total drop foot. Woke up from the micro surgery and my leg didn't hurt anymore.
I still have 500+ comments to catch up on...You were chatty!
Kristin - (((hugs))). I'm sorry about the breakup.
Taiya - I'm sorry you're sick :(
EL - I'll be going to hell with you ;-D
Taiya - re:the gov.
The king still hasn't made his decision as far as the resignation is concerned. One of the Flemish parties (OpenVld) that is a part of the government has given *one* week to the current government to make a decision on BHV, should a solution not be found a week from now, they will move forth with the decision of passing the vote on the split of BHV in the Chamber of Representants.
The issue is that BHV HAS to be split, as this jurisdiction was deemed illegal by the Constitutional Court.
Now, *if we have to vote for a new government - because the crisis is too serious to be solved by our current ministers - it could very well be the end of Belgium. These elections would indeed be illegal because the BHV jurisdiction is itself illegal. Any citizen could thus decide to bring a lawsuit against these elections and a judge would most likely rule in favor of that citizen. We would then be sans government ad vitam aeternam. The End.
I didn't see the pic, but if the dude's a millionair now he can go buy him some beauty.......
Ok obvs nobody can explain to me what SIP-OHIHS or whatever the alphabet soup y'all discuss is about, at least not in a "quick and easy" way and I am sure nobody wants to get into The Long Version. So as a total outside party who knows naught of what went on (besides the fact that it was obviously some heavy stuff which hurt a lot of feelings) I just want to say that true lasting friendships are hard to come by. Also, it seems "good people" are a rarer and rarer comodity in this world. With literally NO knowledge of me, my personal beliefs, or my brother's, the ladies here took us under their wing and have literally changed my brother's life. (credit also goes to MWOP for that)
I can't help but think there is goodness at the heart of a group that acts in such a way.
Annnnd.......that is probably not relevant, but whatevah!
I'm overly emotional and weepy today. PMSing bad, and for the 1st time, (since I started taking care of him) I yelled at my brother and told him to take care of his damn self........which of course I am so ashamed about now. Yes I took it back/apologized right away but I'm sure I will still get a one way ticket to hell. Last night the folks came over to bring some home made bread my mom makes, and my dad (who is not Chris' bio dad but IS who was "there for him") made a totally off hand remark about how "you can totally tell this is a gay guy's apartment". Now if ANY one else had said that, he would have said THANK YOU and asked what "gave it away" so he could go get 10 more of whatever it was. But because it was my dad, holy hell ensued. Chris pouted, called my dad "insensitive", my dad called HIM an ungrateful little brat........and there ya go. Meanwhile poor mom is like "so this batch of bread turned out REALLY great......" maniacally trying to redirect the impending doom.
Chris and I fought because after they left, he said mom "never stands up for him" which could not even BE more opposite of the actual truth.
We both apologized but it was still a craptastic night.
So that is why I wasn't commenting last night. Did I miss anything major? Like, why everyone is telling Kristin not to "make any rash decisions"?? Everything ok??
Corinne- I *really hope they come to some sort of agreement, then!
Margaret- I'd be happy to. Neighbor isn't letting his dog poop on *my lawn anymore, but he is letting it poop directly next door on either side of my lawn. He's really showing me, I suppose. :D I can scoop some up and get it sent out... Wait? Is it legal to mail feces?
Hugs to you and Chris! Sorry that you both had a bad night. Was the bread good at least? And I don't think that you are relegated to hell for all of eternity because you had one bad day. It'll pass. Give yourself a break for it and don't get too worked up about it! You are an awesome sister. A little snafu won't change that.
Elisabeth, That sounds like the best night EVER! Those types of arguments are bound to happen, when in the mist of such intense times. I find that usually arguments have nothing to do with the ACTUAL problem.
Kristin - sorry you are going through a rough patch. I know you wanted this to happen but it's still hard all the same. I had a similar relationship that I just couldn't break off. Then he did and I was devastated. But it opened the door for me to see Dan as more than a friend. Keep your chin up :)
Elisabeth - don't feel bad, you've been under a lot of stress and you know what - it was probably warrented. Sometimes a family falls into a pattern of not saying to a person what they would of before they got sick - which isn't good for them or you. You are not going to hell girl!
We're supposed to have a rummage sale for the homeless students tomorrow and it looks like it's going to rain - ugh.
Don't forget to send me pictures of your auction items. I'm going to get started on the blog this weekend and maybe we can get it up by next Wed? We can always add stuff after the auction opens. I think we should leave it up for a week if that's ok with the rest of you.
Elisabeth, I may have missed it, but are you and your family getting any help dealing, like counseling or a support group? You seem to handle things so well, but everyone needs some help.
AP, thanks for asking about the stupid tooth. I wish I could say I broke it openning a bottle of Schlitz, but it is a many times filled molar that just got old like me and crumpled under the stress of manicotti.
Elisabeth, Kristin is fine. Just a change of living arrangements; are you sure Chris wouldn't ... oh never mind.
SG, Your comment shows how smart, measured and kind you are. That's why I love you. Definitely not a stupid Aussie.
Kristin, thank goodness you’re back! We missed you! Wait, just read that SO left. Are you okay? I’m pulling for you, girl. ((hugs))
Bella, your baby fever and Jay’s “White Stripe” response were so cute! You’re going to be a great, fun Mom. I’m very sorry about your back pain. Back pain is the worst.
EL said: “I have not had baby fever in a while. Kitten fever, yes.” Ditto.
AP, I agree with you about Project Runway. The second runner up’s collection was my favorite. I like the personality of the winner, though, and was happy for him/her.
Shannon, re Survivor – I KNOW!!!
SG! It’s good to see you! I’ve missed you and hearing about Nibs and your worms. I’m glad to hear that you read here and hope that you’ll start checking in with us more often. I think you are fun and interesting.
Taiya, re your dry heel, I love love love Bert’s Bee’s Coconut Foot Cream. If you’ll put it on your heels twice a day, then put a sock on over it, I swear your heels will be soft like a baby’s bottom within a month. Try it.
EL, I saw the powerball guy on the Today Show. I was so happy for him! He said he’s going to get his teeth fixed with his 150 (?) million?
Mulie, I saw that dog clip on the Today Show. Good doggie!
FT, good to see you last night! I tend to write my posts in Microsoft Word too, especially the long ones. It does keep Blogger from stealing from me.
Jill, thinking of you today. Twenty more to go after today?
Margaret, hello sister of the elongated butt crack.
Taiya, we have neighbors with three large dogs that run free all of the time. Our yard is their favorite place. Now we are knocking on the door and asking for volunteers for lawn cleanup. They are starting to try to keep them in their own yard. BTW, does anyone know how to get circular brown spots out of the yard. Don't know where those came from.
K - I am sending lots of love your way. But I agree with Bella, life is too short to be indifferent. You deserve someone who makes you over the moon happy.
Kaytie - Have I ever told you I was a Blazer fan? Rip city, baby! Born and raised in Portland :) Never, ever a Sonics fan. Cried tears of joy when they left town :p
Elisabeth - :( Today is a new day.
Bella - congrats :)
FT - happy to see you. We *need another Shortround pic!
Sincere sorry-s for all with pack pain, tooth pain, broken keyboards and colds! I know there was more I wanted to say, but I forgot to take notes!
Lindsay - I *knew I liked you. I had cats named Clyde and Drexler back in the good ol' days.
Kristin - I agree about life being too short to be indifferent. I wasted 18 years of my life being indifferent. Wasted.
SG - I'm happy to see you, and nothing you said was even remotely offensive - something for all to think about, definitely myself included.
What else? Reading along, reading along.
Oh, RF -- crumpled under the stress of the manicotti. Funny!
Elisabeth - Sorry about your rough nite, but with all your family has been through those kinds of emotional flares are bound to happen. You've said your apologies all the way around, you know you all love each other very much.
RiM - :) I cried when Kevin Duckworth died. I had a huge poster on my wall of Clyde the Glide. I *knew I liked you, too :p We had the entire collection of Blazer glasses from Dairy Queen. I'm a nerd.
i know you know this, but family stress brings out the worst and crappiest fighting between those we love.
i know. i've been there.
hugs. today will be better. just forgive, maybe bring chris an extra coffee, and one for your self. or flowers, and tell him they are from him to you to say 'sorry' too... it might not be 'ok' any time soon, but life is worth living and fighting for.
would it be bad to get them gift cards? one to a baby store, or even a lotion kind of store for sis and g'ma?
you live in a city/town, right? hop over to best buy and let them sell you a simple modem. not fun. nothing about this is fun for you. you just need sleep
Lindsay -- Ahhh, Kevin Duckworth. Those were the good ol' days. :-D I won tickets once to floor level, under the basket seats, against Chicago the last year Michael Jordan played. Portland lost in overtime by one point. So, so amazing of a time!
<---used to be a basketball freak, but got out of the habit.
I think I mentioned when I waitressed I waited on both Dennis Rodman and "Spud" Webb back in their college days?
Elisabeth- nothing wrong with yelling at Chris. I am sure he annoys you. And I am sure you annoy him too! Just because he needs some extra help now, doesn't mean he won't suffer from the occasional PMS induced attack, true? Be easy on yourself. :)
Rhys - I did. There used to be a college invitational tournament where I graduated and I waitressed in this little diner. Teams would be sponsored by different businesses and they could eat there for free. I probably waited on other people who went on to be famous, but those two I remember. Somewhere in all my junk I have team pics with signatures. Good thing I was naive and 18 and didn't get into any trouble. :-D Where did you get the signed hat?
Mulie, I'm not agreeing with a lot of that article about Farmville, so you know. Not that it matters...lo,
Margaret, I agree about old people. I prefer them to most anyone else. :-)
Awww, Elisabeth, I'm so sorry y'all had such a rough night. Illness brings so much stress that it has to come out from time to time in ugly ways, but it still hurts. I hope today is better for you all.
AP, about that article, tacky to include the parentage thing. That is not relavent until they come looking for the child support increase. But I am so glad he's getting front teeth.
Since I still haven't caught up from yesterday - giving evil eye to each and every one of you - I have no idea what is going on but Rhys - I hope your day goes okay/well or however it is you want it to.
I am sorry if I miss responding to anyone...a lot on my mind right now.
I loved Spud Webb. And I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Dennis Rodman. Weird, I know. Charles Barkley, too. I miss basketball. I should get back into it (watching that is!)
AP I Think the part about 3 kids and 2 different mommas was about as relevant to the article as describing him as tattooed......WHAT ABOUT THE GAPING HOLE IN THE FRONT OF HIS FACE???!!!! LOL Sorry that was mean.
SG I was really happy to see you pop in and honestly nothing you said was offensive...I even had to go back and read it again trying to find where you were being offensive or a "stupid aussie" :)
i got the hat at a charity golf thingie. we attended church with someone who used to play atlanta falcons. then he did something to his arm in a super bowl. i don't know the details, i'm so not sporty like that. soccer, though.
anyway, i was a caddy. he and my dad were friends for a while (the FB guy, not Webb). there were a bunch of 'big's. i should dig out that hat.
pt was ok yesterday. i'm just down about it all right now. wrongfully so, i know. i need to be thankful we can get so much help. i'm just... tired of it all right now.
Elisabeth, OHIH was for "Our Hummus Is Homemade", an anti-MckMama site that truened more to just a place to hang out and chat, like here. It was run by Krista and I hoenstly don't know what the real facts are about her, but what we believed at the time was that she lost her job, home and everything else...she was living in a Motel 6 and we were all trying to help her financially. The one you see referred to as "GM" was responsible for collecting the money. Basically, we all got scammed, but the verdict is still out on who was the actual scammer. OHIH imploded and Wendy (Won) made us a private blog that you had to be invited to join. That is SIP (Sans Insanity Please). There were many hurt feelings because she picked and chose who to invite. Some ladies here were from OHIH and not SIP, as a result. SIP is still around but Wendy rules it with an iron banning wand and a firm set of bendable rules, something some like and some do not. She banned quite a few over time but when she banned Kristin and Tee, a few of us left in protest, me included. Because we didn't want to lose touch with one another, Daisy was created as a place to regroup and also gather up old OHIH members and new ones, too. There's the history. :-)
Kristin it will be ok I promise. Like the others have said life is too short to just go through the motions. I never ever believed those words were so true until I met Josh......there is such an amazing difference between real love and a real connection with just going through the motions.
LM will adjust and he will be ok....after all he has a pretty freaking amazing mom and with the schedule that the two of you have you two will be too busy to have much sad time.
I do wonder why they needed to mention the lotto winner's baby's mamas. They did mention he wants to get his teeth fixed though, Shannon! I'm sure he also wants to pay off his trailer, finish high school and buy a new 4 wheeler for himself and his kids.
Rhys I was gonna be smart and tell you a lot of good things but then I realized that you already know them.
You know that Zaya is probably one of the smartest little men out there. Lia is such a ray of sunshine some of us have been guilty of looking at her pictures just to cheer up. You have a pretty wonderful husband. Spring is up in the desert and with some luck there will be adventures to be had by all soon.
Ok I know that you know all those things and I know that even though you know the hard days are still hard. Dont feel silly for whining or being down on the bad days Rhys, until they are a part of the past they are draining and tiresome.
I agree with Jill. And sometimes a little 5-minute meltdown all by yourself in the bathroom or whatever will get you further in bucking up and moving on with what needs to be done, than not.
Ηeуa i'm for the first time here. I came across this board and I find It truly useful & it helped me out a lot. I hope to offer something again and aid others such as you helped me.
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Hello Daisies! Sweet dreams!
CK - You've ruined me. Was at Trailblazer Basketball Playoff game tonight. I kept waiting for one of them to drop trou :-D
"After this afternoon, it's most certainly not anything I care to discuss further here anyway"
AP - I actually enjoyed all sides of that discussion. Food for thought is always good.

Who is San Leandro, GM? Grandma. Good grief, I am lost.

morning ladies and morning SG!
Love you!
Morning everyone.
Unisom worked, but I feel like crap from this stupid spring cold. Stupid play group. Why is everyone sick now when it is just getting gorgeous out?! Oh, well. Definitely could be worse.

Kristin- Missed you yesterday! Sorry your day was so long, and about SO. How are you doing this morning?
Thanks CK - I will keep that in mind, although moving in with AP is tempting, but I doubt she would have me.
I am still catching up, and yes AP what you said was kinda the truth. Oh well.
Taiya - sorry you are sick!
I am good, just exhausted.
Thanks, Kristin. I am waiting for Lindsay to come on so I can clobber her with my rolling pin. :) Someone said that she was the sick-with-a-cold Daisy. I am convinced if I do this then I will feel better. :D

Anyone have any suggestions on an extremely dry heel? I had no idea how bad it was until it started to hurt yesterday. I slathered it with vaseline last night and put a sock on all night. Thought I'd see if there were any other suggestions?
And I killed it with my gross heel. :(
Corinne- anything new on the gov't? Official resignation news or anything?
Kristin (((HUGS)) I'm sorry and don't know what to say!
Morning Ladies!
Morning Sandy! Did you get that key fixed?
Morning Taiya! No the key is not fixed. So now I'm typing on the White Trash laptop.
O.M.G. I just saw the article on the kid who won the powerball. I am going to hell, because I laughed ouut loud at his pic.
http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-national/20100423/US.Powerball.Winner.Missouri/
::teehee:: Err... that's really not funny EL.
Nope. Not funny at *all. :)
The neighbor to whom I returned his dogs excrement in a bag? Hates me.
Kristin sorry about the break up.
I'm super edgy today. Between budget cuts and some other stuff going down at school it's not the place I want to be at right now. I am thankful for a 90 min planning so I can ease into my day.
Jill- are you a teacher?
Taiya yes, for now. I've been teaching for 7 years. I'm leaving to stay at home with my son at the end of this school year.
What do you teach and what grade(s)?
Taiya- LOLOLOL. Did you *hand it to him? Or throw it in the yard?
And, yes, I am a loser and sitting here waiting for someone to talk while i wait for my rice to grow on Farmville so I can harvest it.
Argh!! I want to go back to work b/c we need the cash and well other various reason. Just found an awesome sounding job but I'm afraid to apply cause I don't know what I'd do with the kids.
Good morning daisies - T to the GIF!
Ditto on the herniated disk elongated butt crack. I fell off my chair at work, herniated a disk. BAD pain in my shin, numb foot with total drop foot. Woke up from the micro surgery and my leg didn't hurt anymore.
EL - I live in the neighboring small town from the Powerball winner and lets just say, I see about 42 guys that look just like him everyday.
Taiya - can you send me some dog poop for me to *give to my neighbor?
http://mediacommons.futureofthebook.org/content/cultivated-play-farmville
For Tayia and AP
Hi everyone!
I still have 500+ comments to catch up on...You were chatty!
Kristin - (((hugs))). I'm sorry about the breakup.

The End.
Honestly, I hope they come to an agreement.
I just met the nicest man, waded ashore on D Day at Omaha beach. I love old people and the stories they tell - what they "carry".
Oh Corinne - that's terrible. I hope they can find some way of working it out!
Kristen, Sorry about your situation. Will be thinking about you and LM!
Taiya I teach Marketing to high schoolers.
Elisabeth-
Hugs to you and Chris!
What? More people play Farmville than World of Warcraft? Definitely didn't see that one coming!
Well, I am off. Hope everyone has a good day, today!
bye Taiya!
Have you guys seen the video of Buddy the dog yet?
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/crime-scene/around-the-nation/video-dog-leads-alaska-police.html
He led a lost Alaska State Trooper to a fire at his owners workshop.
Definitely not a stupid Aussie.
lol RF - :)
It kinda bummed me out when LM said "____ is at work" this morning when we left.
That is what is gonna break my heart the most. Even though SO wasn't around a lot (b/c of his schedule) - LM still idolized him.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!
and I can't cry....I have to be happy today!
Happy Friday everybody!
Catching up on comments:
I'm so sorry, Kristin. I swear, I love your spirit. You are going to get through this and come out great. This is the worst part.
Is Taiya gone? I gave up my colander head gear?
Oh my gosh - there is so much to say!
Ditto to Lindsay that we need a Shortround pic!
"::Retreats to the corner with saucepan firmly on head and cutting board down shirt:: Right fire away ::ducks::"
I'm so glad you're here, glad you said how you feel and I can't hug you with that stupid cutting board in the way, you know.
RF, if you neighbor has female dogs, their urine kills the grass. Just saying from a former female dog owner.
Kristin, what about ordering flowers for your g'ma and sis, save yourself some time? I wish you could go home and sleep too.
If I lived nearby, I would pick up ho-worker's cake for you and deliver it smack in her face :) That'd be one less thing for you to do!
I agree with SW. It might not be the present you had in mind, but everyone loves fresh flowers.
Good morning all!
I know I'm missing something.
RiM - :) I cried when Kevin Duckworth died. I had a huge poster on my wall of Clyde the Glide. I *knew I liked you, too :p We had the entire collection of Blazer glasses from Dairy Queen. I'm a nerd.
elisabeth
i know you know this, but family stress brings out the worst and crappiest fighting between those we love.
i know. i've been there.
hugs. today will be better. just forgive, maybe bring chris an extra coffee, and one for your self. or flowers, and tell him they are from him to you to say 'sorry' too... it might not be 'ok' any time soon, but life is worth living and fighting for.
words i need to hear right now too.
hugs
kristin
would it be bad to get them gift cards? one to a baby store, or even a lotion kind of store for sis and g'ma?
you live in a city/town, right? hop over to best buy and let them sell you a simple modem. not fun. nothing about this is fun for you. you just need sleep
Okay, about Goofus who won the Powerball up there - can someone tell me why this was a necessary part of the article?
"Shaw — who has a 10-year-old son, a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old girl by two different women"
rim
you waitressed spud webb? i've got a hat signed by him and a bunch of others!
Rhys - how did yesterday go. If you don't want to talk about it that's ok too. Lia is such a little beauty!
::checking in to give Linsday the evil eye:: Luckily my rolling pin is in the kitchen and my pregnant ass isn't getting up to get it. :)
HI Lindsay!
RF, manicotti can be a bitch, it's true.
AP, about that article, tacky to include the parentage thing. That is not relavent until they come looking for the child support increase. But I am so glad he's getting front teeth.
"I know I'm missing something.""
I know you are too, Robin.
Rhys, let us know how today goes, will you? I was thinking about Miss Lia this morning and what a stressful day this will be for you. :-/
Wait - Rhys, was it yesterday? Shit, I get the days all screwed up, I'm sorry.
Since I still haven't caught up from yesterday - giving evil eye to each and every one of you - I have no idea what is going on but Rhys - I hope your day goes okay/well or however it is you want it to.
I am sorry if I miss responding to anyone...a lot on my mind right now.
Hi Taiya - ::passing the kleenex::
I loved Spud Webb. And I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Dennis Rodman. Weird, I know. Charles Barkley, too. I miss basketball. I should get back into it (watching that is!)
I *am sorry Rhys. It can't be easy for you or precious little Lia. I love getting into my reader, though and seeing her shining face.
Okay, must get ready for the day. I'll check in later ;)
So does anyone hear from Dawn? I have really been thinking of her and Taylor a lot lately. I hope they are doing good.
rim
i got the hat at a charity golf thingie. we attended church with someone who used to play atlanta falcons. then he did something to his arm in a super bowl. i don't know the details, i'm so not sporty like that. soccer, though.
anyway, i was a caddy. he and my dad were friends for a while (the FB guy, not Webb). there were a bunch of 'big's. i should dig out that hat.
ap, margaret and all
pt was ok yesterday. i'm just down about it all right now. wrongfully so, i know. i need to be thankful we can get so much help. i'm just... tired of it all right now.
Rhys, I'm so sorry. I wish you guys could get a break and some really great news. :-(
Shannon, I miss Dawn and Lee, both.
My God, I'm rocking the typos today.
WOW! Thanks Shannon!
I'm a blubbering idiot right now and really just want to go home.
I am not exactly sure why b/c I knew it was coming or at least knew we needed to talk.
I am just gonna hate it for the little guy.
thanks, ap
i feel silly for whining. i mean, there's much harder things out there.
but yea, i want some good news. like maybe someone wanting me to write for them and paying me (:
okay - since Chris and elisabeth are here - did anyone hear about Miss Hawaii teen - she had a stroke and died - at 18:
http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/health/2010/04/22/2010-04-22_dying_from_a_stroke__like_miss_hawaii_teen_sheryl_wolfe__is_highly_unusual_for_t.html
"i feel silly for whining. i mean, there's much harder things out there."
Sure, but sometimes it's okay to just wallow in your own hurts for awhile, especially when it's about your kids.
I do wonder why they needed to mention the lotto winner's baby's mamas. They did mention he wants to get his teeth fixed though, Shannon! I'm sure he also wants to pay off his trailer, finish high school and buy a new 4 wheeler for himself and his kids.
Kristin - I did read that article about the Miss Teen Hawaii girl yesterday.
Dont feel silly for whining or being down on the bad days Rhys, until they are a part of the past they are draining and tiresome.
ap
if i wallow, i will cry. i can't afford to cry. it won't serve any purpose at all. i just need to bootstrap it again and get moving.
speaking of, the munchies are awake, restless, and hungry. the fire is mostly going and it's almost warm, so i need to go cook breakfast.
on the stove! don't lose your hats. i don't cook on a woodstove (:
omygosh, shannon
you made me smile with the thing about looking at lia to cheer up. zaya is a smart little dude. and a complete delight to this house.
he just brought me 'food' to eat and sweetly asked if i would eat the pretend stuff so he could have real food
(=
my cue to run!
Kristin and rhys it is ok to cry. Holding your feelings in will serve you no good.
Shannon, I swear, you are a ray of sunshine. Thanks for being that. :-)
"Shannon, I swear, you are a ray of sunshine. Thanks for being that. :-)"
Yeah when I am not whining myself and complaining about the universe :)
I agree with Jill. And sometimes a little 5-minute meltdown all by yourself in the bathroom or whatever will get you further in bucking up and moving on with what needs to be done, than not.
**New Post up Ladies**
I have to go get some homework done....I have slacked too much the last few days and and worried I will find myself terribly behind.
Hey everyone, mind if I join the party?
LFoB - welcome! but we are on a new post...just thought I'd throw that out there :)
Ηeуa i'm for the first time here. I came across this board and I find It truly useful & it helped me out a lot. I hope to offer something again and aid others such as you helped me.

Yes, you said this...
