Shannon, looks like it.

I'm not particularly net-savvy. How would one going about finding another persons address on the web? Could it possibly be an address a person had saved from back in December?

Brie said...

I can tell you it isnt my house. Thank goodness. I'll take a screen shot of what I have if anyone wants to see it. It seems like FWOP will be posting it later anyway.
And it really, really is not cool to do that.

tumbleweedgirl said...

brie

i would like to see it, please

Robin in Montana said...

I want to see it. She may not post it if SW's threats mean anything to her pea brain.

(and yes, I know I said I was going to stop talking about it.)

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - I have been holding back on making any pay pal donations because I heard that my real life name and info gets displayed to those I pay it to. Is this true?

Brie said...

email me and I'll send it over, still working on the house but have most of the edges done.

. said...

It's not hard to find an address or phone number of people unfortunately. If you have a listed phone number, you can just go to white pages.com or something like that.

. said...

Kaytie, yes it does. If you're not paying for goods, they won't have your address. But they will see your name and email address attached to the PayPal account.

KaytieJ said...

Am I getting this right? That blog is set up to bash a list of people.

Posting real life names is not cool.
Posting grabbed pictures of their kids without permission is sick.
Posting a picture of someone's house without permission is whacked.

Lisa said...

Huh, I went to look at the puzzle but I'm too lazy to work it. I like what she's done to the site, though - it's much prettier!

KaytieJ said...

Tara - thank you for that explanation.

I personally think that Northern Woman is the most incognito.

No. That would be me. Good evening, vile ladies of the flowebed.

KaytieJ said...

BD!!! Daisy wine is delivered :-D Robin, sigh, he only had time for a quick chat. I'll have to open the box myself :-/

bookjunkie said...

It is much prettier, AP. Too bad she's the only member on her forum, talking to all of her personalities. Stupid ass.

Lisa said...

Katie, that's about it, yes. It's funny and sad, both.

For the record, she's/they're meeting the legal definition of stalking in some states. If it bothers you and it's, for example, your house in the picture? Call your local police department. Just because it can be found online doesn't make it fair game to use as you wish. It's all about context.

KaytieJ said...

"vile ladies of the flowebed"

FT - Your typo is perfect! ROFLOL!
How are you? Missed you!

Robin in Montana said...

::pondering::: Now *WHO could "Incognito" be?

Kaytie -- Sorry about that. Better luck next time! I do a lot of QVC shopping, because they ship UPS. ::nods::

Angie said...

Did FT post and I missed it? ::looking around::

Anonymous said...

I believe the picture is of my house - taken a few years ago but still my house.

Kay - when you pay Elisabeth would have your address as would the person who donated the item. With what has gone on today I understand if people do not want to participate but I think it's a real shame for Chris.

BBL

KaytieJ said...

AP - Hmmmmmm....snarking and name calling are one thing, but that Fruitstand is stalking.

Regina Phalange said...

From what I know, when you donate via pay pal the only thing that comes up is your email address along with your first and last name.

KaytieJ said...

SW - I thought Incognito is FT.

bookjunkie said...

Crazy, Margaret! Just f'in crazy!

. said...

Just because it can be found online doesn't make it fair game to use as you wish. It's all about context.

Exactly. It's easy to find pictures of homes using sites that Realtors use, but that doesn't make it fair game to play mind games with people.

. said...

Keep in mind that this person has ads up, so they're making money. I know it's hard, but we should try to not click the link, or maybe have a couple of people designated to visit a couple of times a day to check it out?

Angie said...

Gotcha Kaytie. I'm dim today.

Regina Phalange said...

Tara. I noticed that right away, the ads. It's best to just stay away, no matter what happens, just stay away.

bookjunkie said...

True Tara. I added the ol' crazy hag to my reader.

Angie said...

Tara, I'm three months on the JM wagon, (she said smugly), so I'll commit to not clicking.

bookjunkie said...

Hell, for all I know, she's got my e-mail address from me adding it to my reader. I don't know, don't really care. Can you tell when someone adds a subscription to your blog?

KaytieJ said...

SW - You are not dim. Distracted. You are busy drawing up those papers for the Hague.

Brie said...

I've got it in my reader too but you had to click to do the puzzle. Very JM of her.

. said...

Yes, reader is your friend!

SW: I'm glad to know you're JM sober. I can't remember the last time I clicked her blog. There is strength in numbers! LOL

bookjunkie said...

Oh, I'm finally on the JM no-click wagon, too, thanks to y'all! Her shenanigans took up too much of my precious brain space for too long. At least, I found my vile daisy friends through all of that though.

. said...

bj: I don't think so?

Brie: Sneaky with the puzzle.

KaytieJ said...

:::eyeing pretty Daisy bottles:::
After all this cyberbully revelation I may just open one.

Nilia said...

Kaytie! Glad to be back. Well not “back” because I just arrived, really. Northern Woman, what is Kaytie going on about?

Okay I'm glad to see most of the names back. When the name *and avatar changed I was completely confused. So many of you could tell things by writing styles but I, alas, could not.

Robin in Montana said...

I couldn't either, FT. I still left my avatar changed, just 'cuz I like looking at the new one. :-D

Brie said...

Anyone else notice that FWOP is going on and on about apologies? In a few of the blog posts and on her twitter. Why would anyone owe her an apology? She wants me to apologize for denying my name? Newsflash, she posted my nickname. Not my real name. I never denied it was my nickname.

Anonymous said...

Good afternoon ladies, boy am I lost!! I guess that's what happens when you step away from the computer (for the most part) for several weeks:)

How are all my long lost friends?

Anonymous said...

RiM I like your new avatar too:)

Robin in Montana said...

Hi Megan!! I'm so happy to see you here!

No point in even *trying to catch up to the silliness that has ensued here the last couple of days -- just wade right in!

Robin in Montana said...

Thank you, ma'am. Thank you very much. :-)

Anonymous said...

can I ask a dumb question?

who is FWOP?

tumbleweedgirl said...

well

if you are going to post, use firefox and add-on the no-script and adblock plus

adblock blocks the ads.
no script blocks the counter

Brie said...

good tips TWG, thanks!

Nilia said...

RiM: I like your boots. Never owned cowboy boots myself. I wish I could pull off that look, but I wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Brie: I'm not apologizing to anybody. And it's not because I refuse to apologize. When I am wrong, I own up and I apologize plenty and make things right when warranted. If I died today I would have no regrets on any actions or consequences within my control. I don't have a damned thing to apologize for. And neither should you.

Off to pick up the kids.

Shannon said...

HI MEGAN!! **Waving wildly** :)

Shannon said...

Apologize for what? We are all supposed to be apologizing to a nameless faceless entity that posts our names?

Anonymous said...

FT; cavendars online has some awesome boots and super cute!!

Right back at ya Shannon, how have you been?

Brie said...

FT and Shannon- EXACTLY. Since I have not delt with this crazy before, am I right in assuming that this is the craziest thing he/she/it has ever done?

T@iy@ said...

Hey All. Back after nap and dinner.

Lisa said...

Megan!! Oh, this is nice. :-))

Shannon said...

Doing really good Megan. The hubby is finally back at work which is freaking wonderful. His old boss finally got enough work coming in that he could bring him back on.

How is your troop doing?

Brie said...

CD(Taiya) that was one long nap. I am jealous!!!

T@iy@ said...

Well, not really. My husband got home and I was finishing dinner and playing with DD. You know. :) Forgot about the CD thing. I need to go fix that.

Angie said...

Hi Silva's!! It's great to see you!

Shannon said...

So yeah I got probably 80+% of that puzzle done...it is a white house, blue shutters, single level with a garage, and lots of trees in the background....pretty ambiguous really.

T@iy@ said...

Shannon- can you e-mail me a screen shot?

tumbleweedgirl said...

it was the trees that proved it to NOT be our home.

(:

cos, we, um, live in the high desert. (=

Anonymous said...

I don't see a place to comment on the puzzle on fwop - I'm pretty easy going so I'll give the ladies the opportunity to take their blog down and give me a call at 571-244-4756. And as Forrest Gump would say "that's all I have to say about that" :)

For the rest of you I hope we can still keep crafts for chris going. I think Lindsay, RiM and Suz can vouch for the fact that they've dealt with me and my little charms.

Robin in Montana said...

FT - Oh, I bet you could rock the shit-kickers. :-D Those are my favorite boots ever, although I have several. I like 'em because they're low-heeled and when I wear my spurs, they ... jingle. lol.

Shannon said...

ummmmm I would love to Taiya but I think I accidentally closed the tab because I now dont see it on my tab list. Green hose on the garage...nothing that I could really see in the yard and such.

Regina Phalange said...

I know, I know, I said I wouldn't go back over there however....

how many times are they going to redesign their blog? Don't they have more important things to do, like post pictures of children and make puzzles? Puh-lease......

Anonymous said...

It's my house ladies - I've got the shot. And for the record our shudders are now dark green :)

Brie said...

Margaret- The only craft stuff I make is baby stuff. I dont know how many people would even buy that but if I can donate anything let me know. Burp cloths, bibs, hooded towels, slings, nursing covers ect...

Regina Phalange said...

So Margaret, it's definitely your house?

Shannon said...

Seriously Margaret it is pretty skrewed up really

T@iy@ said...

Oh, okay. Just checking. It doesn't sound like our house, but a description of our neighbors house, so I was wondering.

Regina Phalange said...

Margaret, roger that.

That sux, those people are complete assclowns.

OoOoOoOhhhh, I'm a cyber bully. :)

Shannon said...

I wonder if we are cyber bullies what does it make them?

They post undercover of anonymity, is that the difference?

Lisa said...

Ruh-roh, Margaret's had enough.

Lindsay said...

M - :( grrr. And yes, Margaret's charms are the best!

bookjunkie said...

Margaret, no worries from me on the Crafts For Chris thing. I'm still in on that.

I admit, the crazies do concern me posting pics of your house and T's little girl, etc. but I don't have small kids and really have nothing to hide should they find out my identity.

Stupid asses, that's about all I can say about her, them, whatever. I've seen some stupid stuff on the internet but this.... is just wacky and gets wackier by the damn minute.

Angie said...

Margaret, I may have missed it, but how would they have got your address?

Angie said...

******New Post********

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - I placed some bids and sent you an
e-mail. (SW - I hope you appreciate that I did not shout YOU'VE GOT MAIL)
