Sigh. I had typed out a post and then DD went hyper spastic and was pulling at my necklace, pinching my cheeks, poking my face, etc. She was playing rough and I couldn't get her to calm down, and my laptop cord popped out in the process. :( blah.

What the hell women???!!!!!

I read one post...get caught up and there is a new post.

I read that post .....get caught up and there is another new post.

I get here and it says that there is one comment on the main page but no comments on here yes???!!!!

So confused

T@iy@ said...

So far so good with DD. Right now just has the cold symptoms and ear drainage from the molars coming in. Have to watch for fever, lethargy, vomiting, rash. :(

Called the OB, too, and they said to just watch for scary symptoms. I am in once a week right now, though, so I already have an appt. for tomorrow.

T@iy@ said...

Turns out the little girl who is sick "A", might not have bacterial meningitis. They just admitted her to the hospital because she isn't doing good and they are not sure what it *is. Fantasmic.

Mulie- It wasn't meningitis for me. They thought it was. It was epidural abscesses that wrapped around my spine and were infected with bacteria. Hence my totally freaked out self re: all things bacteria and illnesses unknown.

Anonymous said...

Taiya - I really hope you two are ok. That's what freaks me out about daycares or anywhere where all those dirty little hands wander.

A friend of mine has had menengitis 2 times in the last 3 years. She had back surgery 4 years ago and they nicked her spinal column when they were in there and for a while she was leaking spinal fluid. I think the two are related but I'm not a physician...

Anonymous said...

Hi Taiya!

Let it be known that no matter the purpose, I can't rock a shirt without a bra. I really, really can't. I can compromise and have the shirt made as a plunging v-neck shirt. :-D

bookjunkie said...

Goodness, Taiya! Glad it's all okay for now and hoping it stays that way! Very scary!

Anonymous said...

Doesn't GM do promotional items - maybe she could get us a good price on the t-shirts :)

Shannon said...

So let me say my good mornings

Taiya that is scary stuff about the meng stuff...my cousin had that when she was about the same age as your little one....so hoping that everything comes back just fine.

AP I am so sorry about Gina. I worry so much about when to know Buzz is ready to go. He has the tumors and he has occasional seizures and has bad eyes but I dont think he is ready to go just yet. I am not looking forward to that day. And he is only 6 1/2 so that makes it even harder.

Bella is definitely the most vile of all of us seeing as how she needed to be mentioned not once but twice.

I know that I am missing some important stuff about my girls but I have like completely forgotten LOL I hate morning brain!!!

I still think that FWOP *AHEM Maria.....is freaking hilarious. And honestly even though I could give a shit about her posting my name online...honestly what is someone going to do with that? I find it pathetic that she is going out of her way to obsess enough to find this stuff out. Talk about losers seriously. And yes it is interesting that Won is no longer on that list.....is is because she realized that she isnt a Daisy or something else? I dont know...dont really care but find it interesting anyway :)

bookjunkie said...

I'm thinking we should probably get a tramp stamp, especially since the shirts will be a short cut and all. Maybe something like... Daisies... Vile, But With A Heart. Anybody here have tattoo designing experience? I don't know, the daisies who made the list maybe need a special tattoo to set them apart, too.

I've got to run out and stock up on the Schlitz and pork rinds, so I'll check back in a little bit.

Shannon said...

Oh and the t-shirts....I love the idea of having some shirts that help to accentuate my assets and my muffin top WOOOHOOOO sexy hot mama :)

Anonymous said...

Taiya - I hope that little girl will be alright and that both DD and you are A-ok!

twirldawg said...

Corinne it's ok, you don't have to go braless. We all know you are a bra whore anyway.

Shannon said...

BJ what popped into my head is my husband's shitty tattoo......A rotten daisy with stink lines and everything it could be an awesome tramp stamp.

Anonymous said...

BJ - Tattoos...good idea! LOL

Hi Shannon! - I love how FWOP is supposed to be a place for fair, unbiased discussion regarding when the mod is obsessed with Daisy and its members. That's hilarious.

Shannon said...

LOL yes it is fabulous....I also love how so many of the posts have comments closed

Anonymous said...

Shannon - didn't you read the new "juicy" stuff - that mwop is boring. Wow, a real page turner. I think it's funny that a grown, well bred, woman would put up a blog for herself to read and comment on. I wonder if she gets in arguments with herself?

Anonymous said...

Thank you, Jill ;-D (bra-whore...one more thing to add to my resume).

Shannon said...

Corrine I meant to comment about your govt as well.....is the hope that with the current events that things will get better? Was the old government horrible and in desperate need of an overhaul?

Shannon said...

Margaret I did read the new posts and just love how she tries to hide her identity but seriously how can you hide it when you keep using the same freaking statements over and over?

And honestly self inflicting drama? Isnt that what her whole site is about? A place where Bri, GM, Maria, and Newton can come to talk about those ill bred vile women?

twirldawg said...

Girl has more personalities that Sybil

Shannon said...

LOL that is true Jill...she could have a full blown slammin party and be the only one to show up

Anonymous said...

Did you all see the wife swap where the woman was yelling that the other wife was "dark sided". When I read GM's stuff I imagine she shreeks like that when she's upset.

Shannon said...

LOL that is my favorite one Margaret...and it was Trading Spouses not Wife Swap just sayin :)

And that visual is amazing....I could sooo see her screeching "vile, ill bred, fucktard, bitches, CANTS, white trash LOSERS!!!"

Anonymous said...

Shannon - "And honestly self inflicting drama? Isnt that what her whole site is about? A place where Bri, GM, Maria, and Newton can come to talk about those ill bred vile women?"

Newton certainly has interesting points to make. :D

As for our gov't, I doubt things will get better. It's very complicated, but things between Flemish and Walloons have been getting worse and worse starting in 1962. BHV was just the 'coup de grace'.

Shannon said...

Wow...that is just a long time to have things build and build. Often I wish that something would happen here with our govt because they really need to get refocused but chances are if something like that did happen here all hell would break loose.

Anonymous said...

That was my fav too - I can't keep the wife shows straight :)

I predict the next post will be on how the losers at Daisy can't figure out her real identity.

AP, BD and EL - I gave you author rights to craftsforchris.blogspot.com - please go in and see if I need to make any edits.

T@iy@ said...

Hi back to everyone.

I am really doing my best not to worry. I am not scared of much, I don't worry, but bacteria/unknown illnesses can cause me to break out in a cold sweat.

I'm going to try to catch up.

Corinne- that sucks about the gov't. Hope they can get something worked out.

Anonymous said...

I'm back too. Did you miss me?

Taiya that's scary. When I was pregnant with C, the office receptionist tested positive for TB.

She didn't have it though. She was vacinated (sp?) in German where she was from. It was a live virus vaccine so she will always test positive. Scared the crap out of me though.

Anonymous said...

I'm a germ-a-phobe. There are all sorts of creepy crawlers around. My friend's son died of the Marburg several years ago - healthy one day and dead a few days later. They never did find out how he contracted it. Water parks are especially nasty places for viruses to breed - nasty business!

T@iy@ said...

I bet, Sandy! That is scary! I hate this stuff.

When is your big meeting about C? It is this week right?

T@iy@ said...

testing?

T@iy@ said...

Sigh. blogger.

Deb said...

You are coming thru Taiya, I'm getting ready to find food for lunch.

I understand how upsetting this could be for you. Meningitis is nothing to screw around with for sure. I also hope the other little girl will be okay.

T@iy@ said...

Me too! I am waiting to hear back from my friend about A. My friend's daughter, K, the one who had the bday party just has an ear infection and a spring cold, thank goodness. So far it seems to be just the one girl. I hope they figure something out soon! She is only 3 or 4. :(

Anonymous said...

I thought A went to the doctor and was diagnosed with meningitis? I have a friend who is munchausenesque and is always getting everyone upset that her kids have x,y,z. They are on their 4th pediatrician because she panics and everything is an emergency.

Robin in Montana said...

Margaret - I have a friend like that, too. I am, if anything, probaly a little too lax about running to the doctor.

I cut my hand this weekend and Kelly was freaking because I wouldn't go to urgent care to get stitches. It's fffiiinnneeee. lol

tumbleweedgirl said...

i probably fall in between that.

with zaya, i am fairly laid back, but cautious. with lia, we are hyper-vigilant and careful. i do feel like we can begin to relax a little with her health. we've begun to do it, too. it feels nice. pt-wise, no relaxing there.

with me and Rock, we're fairly lax. i worry over him more than i. some of the laxness has also been b/c our insurance didn't cover dr visits and it was 80/visit plus meds. now, we know of the income-based clinic. i doubt we will be as avoidant now that we can go. it is nice to not worry so much over the cost. (:

Robin in Montana said...

In your shoes, I would be hyper-vigilant with Lia as well, Rhys. And yeah, I worry more about Kelly, but he has insurance, so he should go. :-D

T@iy@ said...

No, they diagnosed her with it yesterday, but today she is much much worse so now they have admitted her to the hospital and they are not sure what it is. In this case I would say it really is something going on. I can't stand this woman who is A's mother, but she doesn't pull stuff with her kid like this. So it is just a matter of the doctors not knowing 100% what is going on, but trying to figure out the sick kid.

Robin in Montana said...

holy cow, Taiya! That is scary!

tumbleweedgirl said...

rim

sometimes i think it's our jobs as moms to worry.

Robin in Montana said...

Rhys - it is, at least to some extent, and at varying degrees with varying situations. Katie took a roll off the 4-wheeler on Saturday and I was reasonably sure she was going to be quadraplegic, but not even a bruise.

tumbleweedgirl said...

taiya

that sounds really scary. ):

i hope in some ways it is meningitis. i met a few child on ped's floor who had had it, and they recovered really well with antibiotic drips. it was still scary, but they were ok.

it's scary to think it could be something worse than meningitis.

i hope and pray she's ok.

tumbleweedgirl said...

rim

holy cow. it's hard to watch the kids be daredevils. i'm a 'bad' mom. i let zaya climb things and jump off stuff. i *am* careful, but we climb. i feel it's necessary to test your body's limits. i did put a stop to the hanging and swinging from the closet bar, though. (:

that was a bit much.

T@iy@ said...

I know some of those parents. I am actually not that parent who calls the pediatrician for every little thing, I swear.

Robin in Montana said...

Rhys - I tend to let them do stuff a little 'wild' too. I know there's a risk of them getting hurt, but there's also a risk of them getting hurt walking down the stairs or playing on the playground. I'm always there, and I am bossy as hell. I think of all the things we did as kids that my mom did not know about that could have ended very badly.

Anonymous said...

I hope she will be ok Taiya. Hannah was really sick with H1N1 in the fall and had to be hospitalized. She had 105 fevers that would not stay down and was a limp rag doll. It is scary :(

T@iy@ said...

I am with you TWG- DD is a daredevil (ha at calling her DD when it could stand for DareDevil) and we let a lot go, but within reason. We let her test her limits and learn things her self. She reminds me so much of my little brother when he was little. :) She is that kid who falls and giggles hysterically when i am still thinking she must have broken a bone or something.

Sorry I'm in an out today. Canning salsa.

Tomorrow is C's meeting, Taiya.

T@iy@ said...

Yummm... canned salsa. :) Now I might have to go open a jar.

Let us know how the meeting goes, Sandy!

tumbleweedgirl said...

taiya

daredevils are super fun (:

sandy

what kind of salsa are you canning, and where did you find the recipe?

margaret,

is hannah ok now? that sounds realy scary!

Robin in Montana said...

Rhys - Sandy has the recipe for her canned salsa on her blog. (Right? I didn't dream that?) I want to can salsa, too. I did it two summers ago, but I don't like that canned salsa has to have vinegar and sugar to be safe. :(

Anonymous said...

My worst moment so far with Hannah was one day in our backyard - she'd been swimming and was soaking wet. I was reading and she says "mom, check this out" - I looked up and she's standing at the top of her slide naked. She starts down the slide, hits the first bump and goes flying off the slide on to her trampoline and then off into the grass. She screams bloody murder and my mom comes running out of the house and see's Hannah laying in the grass. Calming the two of them down was something else!

T@iy@ said...

Margaret- (as I have tried to type this 3 times and DD keeps foiling my plans to post it) That is a high temp! That is definitely scary!

T@iy@ said...

RiM- it does? Mine has vinegar, but a small amount and no sugar. I went by an old recipe, though, that I found in my mom's canning book. Hmm... better check on that this year, huh?

Robin in Montana said...

taiya - I would check, yes. Are you water-bath or pressure canning?

Deb said...

I'm not an alarmist regarding the kids, but high temps. scare me if they last more than a day or two.

Anonymous said...

Rhys - she's fine now. When she had it the hospital was full of kids with it. It's easy to see why in developing countries so many people were dying. It comes on very quickly.

T@iy@ said...

Pressure canning.

T@iy@ said...

I do both, but with the salsa I pressure canned.

Anonymous said...

RiM, mine has sugar and vinegar in it.

And the recipe should be some where on my blog.

Taiya - :)

T@iy@ said...

From googling it it looks like you need vinegar or lemon/lime juice, but you don't have to have sugar. So i should be safe with mine, because it had lime juice and vinegar in it, and in comparable amounts to the recipes I am looking at.

Lisa said...

Trying, trying to catch up here...Margaret, the blog looks great! Um, when I went, though, it gave me the option of being able to make new posts. Like I'm an administrator or something. Did you mean to do that? Also, could I get you to add that the bracelet I'm donating is brand new? That may help it bring in a better price. Man, I see things I'm going to bid on already!

Taiya, that is so damn scary about the meningitis. :-(

"Someone is playing mind games with us and I think some people are falling into her hand."

Jill, you mean Maria? Who is falling into her hand?

I'm in for the Vile Daisy tramp stamp, by the way. I"ll even wear tight jeans so I get a muffin top with it.

tumbleweedgirl said...

the salsa recipe looks good

sandy, did you know your searchbox takes you to another domain? it looks like the domain that the template came from?

i'm still trying to find a ratio of salt/vinegar/onion, etc that you need to make salsa. i grew up on.... recipes from mexico. i want to can those - the sassy, sweet, salty kind with smoked peppers and stuff.

yum.

Robin in Montana said...

Taiya -- from everything I can see, it lookslike you are right. Not sure why I had it in my head that sugar was required.

tumbleweedgirl said...

rim

i'd say sugar cuts the aciditiy. it's the acid that you need. that plus pressure canning kills bacteria. i tend to go over the time limit by 2-4 minutes when pressure canning. (:

Lisa said...

"Girl has more personalities that Sybil"

That was a great movie. For some reason, they used to make us watch it every year in elementary school.

Corinne, I had no idea Belgium is so interesting politically! So, how are people feeling about the newest developments?

Margaret, I see now you meant to do what I asked about. :-)

T@iy@ said...

TWG- Me too on the pressure canning, just to be safe. Plus it does cut down the bacteria. I love the recipes my mom has because some of them are ones that have been passed down through our family. Can't wait to can this summer!

Robin in Montana said...

I don't pressure can. I am askeered.

Lisa said...

Wait! Wait! Margaret, I'm so sorry but I don't want to be on Chris' blog. Oh, that sounds awful but it just dawned on me - I want to be able to pass it around without people finding me here. :-(

AP, Sybil - great movie but in elementary school? Yikes.

I was the skeerdy cat bad mama that wouldn't let my kids do a lot of stuff. I remember telling my son if he was going to ride his bike with no hands he needed to do it where I wouldn't see him. I knew they were going to climb and jump and ride machines, but I couldn't watch.

What's the McHappy Meal Site?

bookjunkie said...

I love to can in the summer. I'm in a rental though with a tiny kitchen and it's kind of a pain. I've got to get my tomatoes and peppers in the ground this week if I'm gonna do it!

Checking out your blog, Sandy. Pretty tat! I need to start back couponing. I was addicted to it and saved a ton back in the fall but got sided-tracked through the holidays and never started back.

I hate that Kristin's not around, too but keep hoping she'll pop back in or something. =(

bookjunkie said...

<-------- askeered of pressure canning also. I hear you can cook a really good roast in a pressure cooker, too. I guess that's the same kind of pressure cooker you can in, right?

T@iy@ said...

Why are we askeered of pressure canning?

It didn't sound like Kristin left because of the GM site though.

twirldawg said...

Sandy thanks for letting me know that the Kristin stuff is unrelated. I hate that she feels like she can't post anymore. I know she enjoyed chatting.

Robin in Montana said...

Jill- Kristin leaving didn't have to do with the particular idiots associated with those blogs.
:(

BJ - Same kind of pressure canner, I think? I don't know. And I buy all my stuff to can from the farmer's market for now, but I"d love to get set up to grow my own stuff.

Taiya- Because my mom instilled in me the fear of being blow to kingdom come by a pressure canner. Happens all the time, you know. :nods: Actually, Kelly's ex-MIL has severe burn scars on her hands and neck and upper body from a pressure canner blowing on her - she was canning out in their camp trailer to keep the heat out of the house. It happened before Kelly knew them, but apparently she came out of the trailer, which had the side blown away, and the skin on her arms was just hanging off of her. ::shudder::

I know that is very, very rare, especially if you make sure your canner's seals are all new and good and all,but it still scares me shitless.

tumbleweedgirl said...

i'm not scared of pressure canning

make sure your cooker is set up right.

learn to read the dial.

cook away!

Anonymous said...

I miss the LM stories - I wish Kristin would come back!

Robin in Montana said...

BJ - if you had like a little camp stove thing you could can outside, too. That's my plan for this year, to use the propane camping stoves out on my back deck. Way too hot inside.

T@iy@ said...

Ahh, yes. that is much more rare now, especially if you check your equipment and make sure you know how to use it. You don't even have to have a dial that you have to watch the pressure on, because you can use the little doomahicky that regulates the pressure for you. :) Handy.

bookjunkie said...

I'm terrified of the pressure aspect of it... scared I'm going to blow the lid off of the canner and blast it through the roof or something, LOL. Crazy, I know. I mean, I'm sure if I just read and follow directions, it will be fine.

Yep, RiM, BF loves to fish, so when he's here and fries his fish, he does it outside on the deck. Keeps the stink outta my house but I still get to enjoy it.

Robin in Montana said...

If I were ever going to can meat of any kind, I'd get brave and buy a pressure canner, for sure. I am just not fond of venison at all, but a friend cuts it in chunks, browns it and then pressure cans it in browned gravy and mushrooms. To die for.

bookjunkie said...

Oops, just read what y'all said about pressure cookers. Like I said, I should just read the directions and follow them. =) Have always wanted to can green beans but never have because every recipe I've found uses a pressure cooker. Maybe this year will be the year for me to try that.

Robin in Montana said...

BJ -- See, you're totally set. That's something else I'd pressure can -- smoked fish.

T@iy@ said...

I don't can meat. Hmmm.... never thought of it.

Robin in Montana said...

It's the season for kootenai salmon here (land-locked freshwater) and the limit is 50 a day. Brined, then smoked, then canned, they are amazing. Unfortunately here, no fish, no smoker, no pressure canner, and ... really no interest this year.

Deb said...

I am just happy that they are adding Sundays to our local area Farmer's Market this year! They only used to have it on Wednesdays from 10 - 2, so us working mom's never had a shot.

I know absolutely nothing about canning, but always wanted to pickle my cucumbers and string beans. Anyone have a good pickle string bean recipe?

Anonymous said...

I made a lot of DD's baby food in the pressure cooker but have never tried to can foods. My brother once glew fish all over his walls - never had a desire to try it after that.

T@iy@ said...

Well, I am taking a tired DD off for nap time and laying down myself.

On a side note, I got out the thermometer to take DD's temp. and she has been taking her own temp under her arm every few minutes ever since. :) Yes, I know, I am being *that mother. I have refrained from actually taking her temperature more than once though. I am just spastically checking her forehead with my hand. :)

Anonymous said...

glew = blew

bookjunkie said...

I've never canned string beans but would love to. My daughter loves pickled okra. A lot of people hate it but that child loves just about *anything pickled in vinegar. The okra is really easy to can.

Robin in Montana said...

Deb- Ihave no recipe for beans, but I am pretty sure they are one that pressure canning is required for because of the acidity. I have a good recipe for pickles (I won first prize at the Podunk Fair with it) that I can dig up.

Robin in Montana said...

I love pickled anything. Is that what you meant, Deb, pickled beans? Or just regular?

I can (lol just re-read that..I meant canning can), don't use a pressure cooker just use an old old canning pot got from a great-grandmum years ago...all ya need is the heat really to make the seal pop.
Our farmers Market opens today--talk about kid in a candy shop, even my boys love going there and walking around..fun fun lol
Job News-just talked to new supervisor..she is willing to work with me since I have a 5 yr old home until 1130, we were supposed to go 2.5 hrs away for 3 weeks for training..makes it hard on the home front when need to find someone everyday to watch kids. Sounds like might only be a week up there if at all. At least the state would pay for my 'vacation' :)

RiM - Pickled string beans - we ate some at a Green Bay Packers tailgate one year, and I fell in love! I grow tons of beans in the garden, I would like to try to pickle them. They were sweet. I do not own a pressure cooker, so, there's that.

I'm a wee bit pissed - we raised over $900 at the rummage sale on Saturday. Now the PTA pres says we can't carry it over to next year it needs to go back into the general fund. The homeless kids need the money more than the general fund needs it for BS. I'm going to suggest we spend it on a Costco run and that way when families have a need in the summer we'll have food for them. Many of the kids get subsidized breakfast and lunch during the school year - I don't want their tummy's hungry during the summer. I can't stand crap like this!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

That's a great idea, Margaret.

Hi, BD.

Hey, would you post that cupcake recipe?

Margaret - that sounds like a great idea.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

The mocha fudge? Sure, I'd be happy to.

Margaret, the site looks great!

Erin said...

Margaret- Another thing you can do is buy gift cards with the money *now. Then next year they can be used as you need. Most canned goods, drinks, etc. have a long shelf life. You could buy things and hold onto them till next year also. Same with school supplies and clothes.
Was it a PTA sponsered event, or a school/PTA event? If the school was involved at all they can override the PTA for use of funds.
Is there a camp/YMCA at your school in the summer? Perhaps you could send them there. Some structure, safety, and normalcy.

Erin said...

Pressure canning scares the shit out of me. And now thanks to RiM's story of horror and hanging skin, I will never attempt it.

Most of our Farmers Markets in this area are on weekdays only SW. I am going to one tomorrow from 10-2. I was in Deb's neck of the woods today and saw the ads for the Sunday one. Yay!

It has taken me 2 days to find a bike that my 5 year old can fit on (they are all too small) and that has training wheels. Shouldn't stuff like that be easy??

Anonymous said...

Erin - great idea. We can buy some school supplies now too as we supply the kids with those. We had the sale as part of our Earth Day clean up day. Every year the PTA has a plant sale, the Brownies and Daisies (how funny is that) sell books for the garden program, and we have a rummage sale for the Care and Share Committee.

I'm looking for a bike for my DD too - she's 6.5 and likes her scooter but won't get on a bike :(

Margaret- the only one I could find for her that work semi ok is an 18 inch. I bought a 20 inch, which was a better fit, and bought training wheels to go on it, but they did not fit. The axle pin thingamajiggy is too short. my kid is tall, so that didn't make it easier.

DD and I are awake. She is grumpy, but no fever or anything else.

A is still undiagnosed at this point, Her fever is down to 102 and she has been able to keep small amounts of clear liquid down now.

Crafts for Chris looks great! I know I am a slacker. I will get some photos taken tonight if it isn't too late. Posted it on my FB, too.

T@iy@ said...

Glad you found your phone, Trudy!

Trudy...if I had such a list, I would include you!

Trudy said...

shit T did i lose my phone too. I better look. lol

T@iy@ said...

Shoot. Camera. I know what I meant.

T@iy@ said...

Literally I thought "Where is my phone?" as I typed in camera. Such is my brain, Trudy. Such is my brain. At least I wasn't thinking "toilet".

Shannon said...

Margaret do we just bid in the comments?

Shannon said...

Trudy it is a good thing you have Taiya here to remind you to look for your phone :)

And you should be really glad she wasnt thinking toilet or car or even keys :)

If the rummage sale is designated for the care and share committee, and has been done so in *advance, and/or if this is a yearly event for this specific line item then proceeds can't be dumped into the general fund. Or at least not without a full quorum vote. (Sorry for the worlds longest run on sentence)

Erin said...

Sorry, the above is to Margaret!
Trudy glad you found what you lost. Although at this point I am confused as to what in the hell it was! Phone, camera or toilet.

T@iy@ said...

Yuk, yuk, yuk. Mock the pregnant woman. :D

Shannon said...

Taiya I love you even if you have pregnant brain :*

Shannon said...

I'm sorry, can we have the link to the Crafts for Chris site again?

Shannon said...

And Taiya I have to apologize to you now because I asked Margaret a question that if I would have only read all the stuff I would have the answer.......at least you have pregnancy as an excuse...what is mine? Math brain?

T@iy@ said...

YES! Math brain is a *very viable excuse. I know it from when i was taking classes.

Erin said...

Shannon said...

LOL well Taiya at least we both have viable excuses for our lacking in the brain depts :) We have bigger and badder things encroaching on our brains.

T@iy@ said...

Seriously. Math is a brain drain.

Yes Trudy and Taiya - send me your pics and descriptions and I'll get them up - the more the merrier.

RiM - it's craftsforchris@blogspot.com

EL - every other year we've been able to carry the money over - I'm not sure what the big deal is this year.

T@iy@ said...

Who did the little note cards? Those are darn cute and burning a hole in my computer screen. :)

T@iy@ said...

Shannon- what math are you in, again? I know I already asked this...

bookjunkie said...

I'm loving so much stuff over on the auction blog. My mom made the notecards, Taiya. Daughter and I both love holidays because we like to see what kind of cute cards she's going to make and bring over here. =)

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I was going to cook chicken tacos but am feeling kinda lazy. May just run to Subway or something.

BJ donated the cards - they are SO cute! I think we have a cute selection of goodies :)

T@iy@ said...

Definitely a good selection!

For dinner? PB & J? I am a little over red meat for a few days since we had roast yesterday, goulash with burger the night before, and sizzler steak the night before that. We have a swiss steak in the fridge to cook, but I need a break. :) Might do chicken something, or I might just designate it leftovers night. chicken on the grill sounds good, but we are out of charcoal... :(

My dirty girl just brought in a bunch of rocks - filled up the bath and dumped an entire thing of shampoo in it :)

We are doing enchiladas. Nothing exciting, just from a box.

Trudy said...

I have a pork roast and cabbage in the crockpot

twirldawg said...

Thanks to bd I really want a burrito, but I wouldn't even know how to begin to make one from scratch.

T@iy@ said...

Yuumm... burritos and enchiladas. Both sound really good.

Shannon said...

Shannon said...
