BD - That is so exhausting and frustrating!!! And it sounds like you are doing everything you can. The only other thing I can think is to have her checked out regarding the disconnect of listening and consequences. From my experience with my son, it may be something more than willfully not listening and ignoring consequences. Either way, many hugs.
Oh geeze-it is only noon here and so I reposted by BD comment. I will also add BD - offsprings tantrums and dieting do NOT mix. So have another slice of pie, chai tea, whatever it takes to get yourself calm.
Awwww! AP - thank you for posting Shortround II. He has grown attached to my laptop chord-LOL!!! Thank goodness I did not nickname him Stellan. Thank you FT for saving us all from that!
Okay, I managed to get a screen grab of baby Max and I posted it on my blog. He's just a pink blob in the picture, but he's definitely alive and moving and making noise!
Okay, I had to quit watching Molly with Max. I'm so scared she's going to accidentally hurt him. Hopefully my fear will allow me to get some freaking work done.
I've had Tay since yesterday at 10 - all night - and all day today - now Ang is getting ready to come get him, and Megan wants me to keep Riley for a while so she can finish painting her bathroom and spring cleaning the rest of the house....
The furry shortround is adorable! I'm glad you found him and are taking care of him - do you think the owners will take him back eventually or do you think he's going to be yours Kaytie?
BD sucks when kids won't listen. Tay is getting into a streak where he won't listen, and when you make him listen - take away what he's not allowed to have, or move him from where he doesn't belong, he throws a major fit, throwing himself down on the floor, then if you are ignoring him, he will get up - and throw himself down again... over and over! He's persistant thats for sure!! And we had him all day Wed. then Thursday from noon til about 6 then all day Friday from 10 am til whenever Angela gets here.... This grandma is tired! And Riley is even more active!! At least its nice out, I think Riley and I might go for a walk, or to the park... or something to wear him out!! LOL
Totally annoyed. Today is my slacker day before being immersed in humanity again tomorrow. I am slicing tomatos & making lunch with wet hair, no bra, Kiss T-shirt, and fuzzy sweats. And in come neighbors from way up the road and their kids wanting to ride one of my mares. Luckily, DH saw the daggers flying from eyes and the butcher knife in my hand and headed them out the door. This is not a freaking petting zoo and they have our phone number! If there weren't kids involved I might just sit my buns on the porch with my Daisy rifle. Anybody have a corn cob pipe to go with my attitude?
Mulie how old are they? Angela is going to pick Riley up and bring him here and then stay with me so we can take them both to the park - so if your two wanna go to the park - come on over! Tomorrow is my day OFF though!!!
Kaytie - I can see you now with your pipe and your Daisy rifle!!
My dad smoked a pipe - and every time I smell one it reminds me of him. Nobody smokes pipes any more though.... I love the smell!
I am not getting Molly live - I clicked on one of the video's and she's tearing apart her dinner I assume, I'm not really into watching her eat - I'd rather see the babies... what the heck?
Karen - You are an awesome grammie! That is some extreme babysitting stretch there! Keeps ya young though, huh? The kids turn us old and the grands keep us young. New thought, so had to repeat it:)
I missed being around them all until 7 months ago when we moved back to Ohio - so I have alot of time to make up for - but my house is suffering this week - so tomorrow is going to be cleaning and organizing day! My mom's divorce hearing is Wed. so I think we're going with her for moral support - She's gonna need it I think!!
Kaytie, I need to know about your chickens. Against my own better judgement, I want to get 3-4 chicks in the next month. Did you buy a coop for them or just make one and all that jazz.
Good luck to her tomorrow. And definitely go. How old is your mom? Scratch that...I mean, divorce is so stressful at any age, but it seems it would be really hard the older you get.
Kaytie the hearing is Wed. and she's gonna be 72 in June - her stupid husband - my non step father - was cheating on her for 2 years and she figured it out - and accused him - and he admitted it - a little more than a year ago - not long after she had turned 71 - he sucks and he's not paid her spousal support since November - and they had to file bankruptcy - they had to sell their condo that my mom lived in for 20 years and there was no profit, just enough to pay the bank off - and now my mom just moved into a senior housing apartment which she is not very happy about - she doesn't feel OLD - so she doesn't feel like she belongs there! But yes, I'm sure the older you are the harder it gets, I feel so bad for her sometimes!! But she's tough and she will be fine!
Mulie - Ours started out as a school project for my son. Have grown to really like having them. We bought a little hatchling coop. It had removable flooring so you could clean it easily. And the warming light was secured (if you get a hanging warming light, just be sure it won't fall and cause a fire). We had an old dog run that we never used and after the chickens grew, we put them in that. We had some siding from the barn that we put over the run since it rains so much here. We used a big dog house with a removable roof for a coop. For roosts, we strung poles through the fencing. During the day I let them out now that it is warmer. Toward dark they head back in and roost and we close the door to keep them safe. It's not fancy, but it is user friendly and easy to keep clean. If you are getting chickens, look into Aracunas. They lay easter colored eggs. The eggs are a nice size. The chickens are calm. One thing I recommend highly is do not get a rooster. From everyone I know they are loud and mean. Also, you then have to "candle" your eggs in case they got fertilized. Sounds like a lot, but honestly, they are the easiest pets we have and it is nice knowing what the eggs are made from. Good luck!
Thanks Kaytie - I never ever liked my step dad - so I cannot wait until this divorce is final so I can call him and let him know what I think about him!! My mom didn't want me to contact him at all until everything is final - but he's an ass - and I am going to be sure he knows how I feel about him!!! Ugggh!!! Thank you! It will be nice to sit in court with her and face him and hear the judge tell him that he owes back support to her for over $3,000 and he has to pay!!
I do not want a rooster and if I get one he's going straight to freecycle! I don't want to spend a lot of money on a coop right away, so I'm not sure what I am going to do. I had a single chicken in HS, and she generally roosted in the garage, till we moved her to an old dog crate. She ended up getting eaten by a raccoon when he figured out how to get the cage unlocked.
I am barely caught up. I haven't ventured into Saturday yet. I am afraid.
Hey Karen! It's early for you! And Mulie, I haven't been on so I haven't seen you for a while. How are you feeling?
In addition to the Ritz Cracker Chicken, I baked an apple pie, and made up (and cooked) a recipe for Peanut Butter Banana Bread with Streusel Topping. I painted a table in the backyard which needs a few more coats, and in a little while I'm going to Michael's to get tiles to mosaic the top of the table and the matching (or soon to be matching) chairs. Who's Suzy Homemaker today?
Okay - I just had a freak out moment - SO was in the kitchen standing at the fridge putting away leftovers and I see him grip the top of the fridge - I ask him if he is okay and he doesn't answer - so I walk in there to see him start to pass out and hit his head at the top of the fridge - SO is not a little fella - and I was worried he was going to hit the floor in the kitchen and little old me was not going to be able to keep him up. About the time I grabbed him he started to crumble. I then told him to lay down and raise his knees.
Freaked me out - and about that time, I start getting light headed. I do that when I start internalizing things.
Not sure what is going on but he is now watching the basketball game and seems to be okay.
I'm laying in bed in the spare bedroom, nauseated (thanks, Mr. BD) and relishing quiet. I am also grading.
Chicken turned out well, but I think I will only use white meat from now on, as the dark meat let out a lot of grease. I know that was FT's recommendation, but I cut up a whole chicken so I had to use the dark meat. PBB Bread is good, but I prefer to let my bananas get overripe, and they were not in this condition, so the banana taste is not as strong as I like.
BD - Your PBB bread sounded good. I would not think of it for a bread batter. When you have time post the recipe. Would like to try it.
I was vetoed on making the chicken tonight. My son wanted to cook. He did fresh packaged pasta purses stuffed with brie. Browned up some Italian Sausage and added it to a jarred basil and garlic red sauce. He rigged the sauce with balsamic vinegar, tomato paste, sugar and pesto. I was thrilled: A) He did not burn the house down, B) He cleaned up C) He kept washing his hands and did not double dip! AND it was really good!
Yeah - he has such an imagination. Yesterday he said I was uncle W - pretty much all night. Uncle W is my middle sis's husband - so I had to pretend I was Uncle W :) It was funny, then Uncle W came over. it was funny.
When we had a bachelorette party for my sister, her best friend made a cake - I don't remember what she used as her mold, but she used something. It was freakin' hysterical and kinda gross too.
CK: not exactly but it opens up possibilities of things you could suspend within the jello mold you know? Like a blue jello with little scuba guys and sea creatures would be cute, you'd have to refrigerate in layers.
If you want to go gross there seem to be some good possibilities there too but you'd need to buy the mold form too, like a brain or hand or heart but that seems more Halloweenish....
Here's an idea I found online, to "light up" your jello mold creation:
You may have to look around at a local dollar store, Wal-Mart, or Wal-Greens -- or whatever store in your area tends to carry trendy, hip, appealing-to-teens items (Spencers?) but you can get very small, very bright, LED lights that run off tiny batteries and flash in COLORS. They run quite cheaply.
Anyway I have seen these lights at the Dollarama for like 2/$1, you can set it right in the jello, I'm sure, like put the jello right on top of the light.
Oooh forgot, Kaytie I can't wait for my boys to cook stuff for me. And I am loving the Shortround picture, he just looks like a big baby. I still think it's awesome that he found you.
"Or make a plain blue jello, cut in half and separate, place figure of Moses parting the sea."
Oooh, good! You could make a smaller batch with some cream cheese in it to chop and lay on the cut edges like wave foam.
When Jake was young, I did the blue Jello and gummi shark thing in clear glasses for a birthday party once. They were super cute. As the Jello is almost gelled, shove one shark part way in so it looks like it's jumping out of the water. :-)
CK: I have a couple at school, I'll take a picture and email to you tomorrow, kind of like a white circular shape with small light tip in the middle, on/off switch, blue light. Maybe it flickers too, can't remember. When is the jello mold due?
Kristin, you can do dirt cups with chocolate pudding, too. Add gummi worms and let one worm peak out the top. Put a layer of crushed chocolate cookies on top, making sure to keep that one worm uncovered. You can even add a lollipop as a flower.
Oooooh! I am loving all these jello mold ideas - you Daisies have such imagination! Can't wait to try these out with son, well not the penis ones :)
Got so excited about molds, forgot who asked about my son's age. He is 14 and every once in awhile likes to cook. Probably because I brainwashed him early with Food Network (evil grin).
Goodnight, CK. I am always a wreck the night before a return to school after a longish break. Hope you have a peaceful evening, and have a good first day back.
FT - I was skimming through some of this weekends chats and saw someone welcoming Max. I thought Shortround had a name. Was sad to see it was just the baby owl :)
Taiya - Just saw your post! Yick to getting food poisoning, even if you think it better than the flu. I am so sorry! When you are feeling up to it, let us know how your games went for the little ones. And of course, hope your shave burn subsided so you could enjoy some pool time!
Kristin! You are making these for real? AWESOME! What a great idea. Keep me up to date, because I am in a mostly female profession, and in the upside down economy we are in, the Nursing profession has a lot of stay at home dads. Great target market.
*sighs* We just watched the healthcare reform bill pass. It makes me so damn sad and so damn sick at heart, seeing it pass. Angry, too, but mostly just very sad.
Oh, Kristin, that "tool" belt is so cool! I'm very impressed and will file this idea away in my head to steal sometime, if you don't mind. What a great gift for dads-to-be!
By the way, the pics of you and LM on the slide? So stinking cute!
AP - I am with you. I shudder at the ramifications it will bring. I work in the trenches of nonprofit healthcare. Changes do need to be made, but this is not the answer.
Kaytie, I agree about changes needing to be made. I'm not about to say it's good the way it is now because it isn't but this? Is so not the answer. Florida tried regulating home insurers..."reforming" them. Their answer? They simply left Florida. It wasn't what the state government expected to happen but those of us with an insurance background knew it would be the case. Florida has a state-run homeowners' insurance company, Citizen's. It's expensive and some people are still waiting for them to pay out on the 2004 hurricanes. The rest of us pay a hefty surcharge on our private HO insurance, double-digits, to keep Citizen's afloat. Many people had to stop being insured entirely because of that rate hike to support Citizen's. The same mess is going to happen here, mark my words. Why not start at the root of most health care issues and prevent them from the get-go? Why not give huge tax breaks and low-interest loans to companies that produce true, organic food products at affordable prices? Why not tax the hell out of those who use antibiotics, chemical enhancers, etc., in their products? Tax the living *fuck out of tobacco producers. Force us to be healthier instead of wanting to fund our poor health issues. I don't get it. And, having an insurance background, we need to accept that health insurance is NOT health *care. they are two very different things and health insurance in this country was never intended to provide preventative care to the masses. Oh, lord, I need to just shut up...my blood pressure is skyrocketing.
AP - I am at the other end of the spectrum but same outrage. I give excellent care to all and their families. No matter if they are a convicted rapist, meth head, child molester or DNR over turned by the family, or guardian of the state that wants everything done even though it is hopeless. All the "reformation" is going to do is bog us down in more regulation and less reimbursement. Hold us to standards that are impossible because people are not cars. The hospitals are already on the brink. This is going to put many under.
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Sweet doggie! And yay for Max's arrival! Woohooo!
LOL I feel like a total dork SW.....been watching all morning but at least I saw the little winged rat LOL
And the furry shortround is awful cute and I love the cord :)

Yes, the cord is hilarious! Thanks for getting pictures to AP, Kaytie. He looks like such a good doggie.
Awwww! AP - thank you for posting Shortround II. He has grown attached to my laptop chord-LOL!!! Thank goodness I did not nickname him Stellan. Thank you FT for saving us all from that!
SW - Thank you and yes he is.
Maybe I can venture to the owl cam now that there is an owlet. They named it Max? That is cute!
Howling....Oh my...AP-just saw your link to the "Best of Daisy" The repost there is hilarious. Bella - you are so funny!
Okay, I managed to get a screen grab of baby Max and I posted it on my blog. He's just a pink blob in the picture, but he's definitely alive and moving and making noise!
Loving Shortround II and Yay for Max. ::damn owl cam::
Thank you for the pic, SW. I've been watching on the live cam and haven't seen him yet.
::still feeling deep shame for even joking about a mommy eating their young::
Owlaholic drink, anyone?
(borrowed from live chat at owl stream)
ok, so what are you daisies watching? Owl? Molly? What am I missing?
"Owlaholic drink, anyone?"
Whooooooo, us?
Mulie, here's a link.

(_)8 Here's a cup of owlaholic beverage.
AP,
One of the latest threads on BF:
"Cords for Little Boys, In Style or Out???"
lol.
Sandy,
nice work!
Thank you, Sandy. Eggnog. *nods*
CK, lol, that's funny! One of the ads on the Molly-cam is for Ped-Eggs, which tickles me.
Okay, I had to quit watching Molly with Max. I'm so scared she's going to accidentally hurt him. Hopefully my fear will allow me to get some freaking work done.
AP, saw the Ped-Egg ad, thought that was funny.
Well I went to lay down with my little man and I missed Max. Going to go take a look at SW's blog :)
I love shortround II - he is a handsome old man - and the cord - freakin' awesome.
FTWMommy aka GGDirect just gave the daisies a shout out...
Margaret - On MWoP or twitter? What did she say?
I just started watching Molly again and she is "off air" :(
On twitter - something about the daisies watching an owl
I keep on missing the peep too - she's always sleeping or shredding rats when I'm watching :(
Just came back online to check in here and with Molly and there's no picture - what the heck?
Hi FTWMommy!
Yup - us low life, no life, husband hating, daisy snorters are watching an owl.
Hi, my name is Kristin and I'm an owl-aholic :)
SW - I think we will need a 12 step program for this one too.
I love the new shortround - what a lucky boy he is!
I've had Tay since yesterday at 10 - all night - and all day today - now Ang is getting ready to come get him, and Megan wants me to keep Riley for a while so she can finish painting her bathroom and spring cleaning the rest of the house....
Kristin, sorry I can't be a sponsor for Molly the Owl. Completely hooked.
The furry shortround is adorable! I'm glad you found him and are taking care of him - do you think the owners will take him back eventually or do you think he's going to be yours Kaytie?
BD sucks when kids won't listen. Karen, You are generous with your babysitting! When can I drop my 2 off? ;-)
"owl-aholic" - weeeeeeeeeee!
Totally annoyed. Today is my slacker day before being immersed in humanity again tomorrow. I am slicing tomatos & making lunch with wet hair, no bra, Kiss T-shirt, and fuzzy sweats. Karen, after Mulie drops hers off, I'm next. I just have one with me right now! LOL
Margaret, going through withdrawl. No owl feed up for what seems like eternity.
I can't seem to win with Molly - one look at max and I'm done, cold turkey or cold owl...
Mulie how old are they? Angela is going to pick Riley up and bring him here and then stay with me so we can take them both to the park - so if your two wanna go to the park - come on over! Tomorrow is my day OFF though!!!

Mulie - Ours are actually ameraucanas. Had the spelling wrong. Here is a site with other info too.
Mulie - LOL! That is where a rooster would end up too. There's all kinds of things you can do with the stuff you already have. Have fun!
I am barely caught up. I haven't ventured into Saturday yet. I am afraid.
Hey Karen! It's early for you! And Mulie, I haven't been on so I haven't seen you for a while. How are you feeling?

Just catching up, I took a nap - a short one but a nap nonetheless.
I want the owl back!
BD - I am amazed at what you do.
Karen - I will be happy to kick some non-stepdad ass if you would like. :)
Okay, going to finish what I started before my nap.
Not sure what is going on but he is now watching the basketball game and seems to be okay.
Oh yikes Kristin that is scary. Did he just get way light headed? Is he still sick? That was a good moment to have a bit of a freak.
PS I miss the owl why are they disabled?? GRRRR
Karen I am sooooo happy to hear that your mom is almost done with that looser!!!!
Kristin:
That would scare the crap out of me.
Yeah, it was - he is like 6'4 or so - big guy. He doesn't remember hitting his head on the corner of the fridge.
He seems better now, he just said he was real light headed.
Shannon - I dunno what is going on with owl :(
Kristin arent you 5'2 or 5'3? That really would have made it interesting trying to help him and all.
yup - 5'2
I want the damn owl - I want to see Max!
The damn site keeps trying to be on air and then FAILS!!!! dammit man I am going to have to admit my addiction!!!!
Kristin - That is really scary! Glad he is feeling better now and that he did not go all the way out!
Thanks guys!
I know how it is b/c I have had some fainting spells in the past but I know when they are coming and know what to do. It is a freaky feeling.
Oh, and I just became a fan of molly on facebook - I have a problem :)
Uh, I did that yesterday and she also added me as her friend. ::seeking medical help::
LM just called me a princess and said SO was "a guy!" Love it!
Helloooo! How's everyone? I'm not going to be able to catch up from a weekend away from the computer, am I?
Hi Lindsay! Sure you can catch up. It's been pretty quiet this weekend. Lots of Molly-watching, not a whole lot else.
I'm lost on the owl-speak. I have not watched it.
I'm laying in bed in the spare bedroom, nauseated (thanks, Mr. BD) and relishing quiet. I am also grading.
Chicken turned out well, but I think I will only use white meat from now on, as the dark meat let out a lot of grease. Just so you all know. :)
I'm watching "Life" on Discovery right now, it's really cool :)
Me too Bella! :)
Taiya - :( How was the party?
BD - tell your hubby it was not nice for him to share.
BD - Your PBB bread sounded good. I would not think of it for a bread batter. When you have time post the recipe. Would like to try it.

Evening - all this food talk is making me hungry. Even though I just ate a dinner of Indian food.
Watching the pilot for House in reruns. I don't think we saw it when it was originally on.
very awesome Kaytie!
I'm hoping LM will like to cook. He just brought me dinner :) It was magnets in a measuring cup - but I couldn't eat it b/c it was hot.
Hi Lindsay - I don't think I said hello!
Kay, how old is your son the chef? It sounds delicious.
BD, so sorry Mr. BD gave you his bug.
hi CK!
Hi Kristin! LM says the sweetest things. I'm glad you share them here.
Our church is having a jello mold competition. Anybody have an idea for something funny to make?
Yeah - he has such an imagination. Yesterday he said I was uncle W - pretty much all night. Uncle W is my middle sis's husband - so I had to pretend I was Uncle W :) It was funny, then Uncle W came over. it was funny.
a little "p" CK :)
Kristin - do they make a mold for that?
They might if you go to one of those stores.
When we had a bachelorette party for my sister, her best friend made a cake - I don't remember what she used as her mold, but she used something. It was freakin' hysterical and kinda gross too.
CK: does the end product of the jello mold have to be edible?
Nope - do you have an idea, FT?
http://www.bachelorette.com/jelloshotmolds.html
carlos is talking about the owl and max!
HEHEHEHE the owls are back online....I forgot I had the volume up and suddenly heard talking lol
LOL I thought I was hearing stuff and it kinda scared me a little bit
CK: not exactly but it opens up possibilities of things you could suspend within the jello mold you know? Like a blue jello with little scuba guys and sea creatures would be cute, you'd have to refrigerate in layers.
If you want to go gross there seem to be some good possibilities there too but you'd need to buy the mold form too, like a brain or hand or heart but that seems more Halloweenish....
Thinking...
Holy jello molds, CK, this is for a CHURCH event, right? LOL!
For scuba theme you could lay the blue jello mold on crumbled graham crackers for sand.
I dunno, am I helping? Give me some direction, yes? no?
Yes FT, as out there as our church is, it IS a family event. I'll have to save the penis jello for another time.
But I'm loving the scuba diver/sea creatures idea.
The kids would love it. I'd share the fabulous prize with you.
CK, a layer of blue Jello with gummi sharks in it. Put Jesus figurine on top so he's walking on water.
Alternately, just make a bowl of red Jello. Call it The Blood Of The Lamb. Some toothpicks broken and placed artistically on the top may add realism.
Kaytie, that is so cool what your son did for dinner. If mine ever did that, I'd cry with joy.
Gummy sharks, ya!
Or make a plain blue jello, cut in half and separate, place figure of Moses parting the sea.
Ha, AP. The blood shed for you.
FT - the lights would be awesome.
Oooh forgot, Kaytie I can't wait for my boys to cook stuff for me. And I am loving the Shortround picture, he just looks like a big baby. I still think it's awesome that he found you.
A biblical theme would be a hit.
FT - do the lights look like Christmas bulbs?
Owl's guy's wife is adorable, like someone's sweet grandmother.
I love the shark/blue jello idea - will have to do that one day :)
Yellow jello mold with beach scene. Beach figurines from Dollarama or small doll set or something.
FT - are they like tea lights? But battery operated?
Kristin, you can do dirt cups with chocolate pudding, too. Add gummi worms and let one worm peak out the top. Put a layer of crushed chocolate cookies on top, making sure to keep that one worm uncovered. You can even add a lollipop as a flower.
CK, yes I think that's what they are, tea lights and yes for sure battery operated. Sorry I had no idea what they were called.
AP: that would look cute in a clear plastic cup so you could see the mud and dirt layers, I think I may do that this summer!
AP - you are so crafty! What a great idea!
I wish I could take credit for the cute Jello and pudding ideas, but I read them in some magazine, probably Woman's Day, years ago.
Will have to decide between all these good ideas. Thank you all, ladies!
I have to go do other, less fun stuff. See you all later. Back to school tomorrow.
Hello 5:30 a.m. once again.
Night CK!
Night CK! Let us know what jello mold you use. And have a good evening!
AP - You may not have invented it, but you remember it after all these years! Darned good in my book :-D
Lindsay, LOL!
Just put a post up on the Daddy on Duty tool belt!
Taiya - Just saw your post! Yick to getting food poisoning, even if you think it better than the flu. I am so sorry! When you are feeling up to it, let us know how your games went for the little ones. And of course, hope your shave burn subsided so you could enjoy some pool time!
Kristin - is that your blog? Daddy on duty?
Oh, gosh no kaytie - no daddy on duty at my place.
If you click on my name it should take you to my profile with my blog on it.
Kristin! You are making these for real? AWESOME! What a great idea. Keep me up to date, because I am in a mostly female profession, and in the upside down economy we are in, the Nursing profession has a lot of stay at home dads. Great target market.
Kristin, love the belt!
Oh, no Kaytie - I just made this one for my sister's baby shower.
I don't think I'd have a very big market for them.
I know there were a few I found on-line that made them but I found them kinda tacky and figured I could do it myself just as a gag gift for the BIL.
but ya never know - gives me an idea. Thanks!
Thanks FT!
Kristin - Hon! Well, if you ever do decide to expand on it, there is a market.
K - That was great! I especially loved the tongs and the facemask :) Cracks me up!
Night ladies - 6:00 will be here too early.
Night K!
I'm so excited - Molly's actually moving around and I got to see Max. Every other time I've been on she's been sleeping.
He is a cutie - I got to see him move too, that was pretty darn neat.
Alright, I'm out!
Nite Kristin!
*sighs*
We just watched the healthcare reform bill pass.
*** new post ***
AP - I am at the other end of the spectrum but same outrage. I give excellent care to all and their families. No matter if they are a convicted rapist, meth head, child molester or DNR over turned by the family, or guardian of the state that wants everything done even though it is hopeless. All the "reformation" is going to do is bog us down in more regulation and less reimbursement. Hold us to standards that are impossible because people are not cars. The hospitals are already on the brink. This is going to put many under.
