Fear not, AP. Your fellow Sagittarius has arrived!

Lisa said...

As much as I love dear Israel, I have to admit I couldn't get through his latest blog post. I tried, and several times. I just can't do it...the words start to blur and I start picking at my skin. :-/

Lisa said...

Now, Mulie, why does this not shock me?

suz said...

Ap, see?? You do have another Sagittarius here, you are not alone :P

T@iy@ said...

AP- I don't want to subject anyone else to my feet. A stranger is one thing. A friend is not. They aren't warty, or smelly or anything... I have calluses and stuff from being a barefoot farm girl every summer. It just kind of weirds me out I guess. I'll just try to do it myself, one toe at a time and if not I will get Matt to do it.

I've got something to bitch about:

I'm still the only Taurus. I'm so sad and lonely...

Well, he owes you that much for carrying his babies, Taiya. ;-)

Yeah, Suz, our Sagittarius numbers are growing. One more and we may have to have a club of our own. And we'll make your club cry. *nods*

kristin said...

LMAO AP! Picking skin! I just skimmed and said oh f' it!

I had a bitch but now I forget - so must've not been important

This last post of Israel's? Sounds like he smoked a big bowl before he wrote it. :-D It's got that drawn out, wandering all over the place, slightly giggly and spaced out feel to it, you know?

Lisa said...

Bitch about whatever y'all want. I've got to leave and run to the bank...bah. I thought I got everything done today and forgot that.

Robin in Montana said...

Ooh, Taiya - I have the Ariats that are the plain worn brown, 'bomber' leather. I also have the ostrich skin (look) with the light robin's egg blue tops. And Justin Roper work boots. And Roper brand dark blue bull skin with black heels. A pair of Twisted X in tooled leather. And more. I am wanting the new re-toed boots -- Justin has a ton of them. And I want Luccheses , etc., etc.,

<---wants, wants, wants.

suz said...

Lol AP..Somehow I don't think this Aries crowd are criers but you never know!

Anonymous said...

"This last post of Israel's? Sounds like he smoked a big bowl before he wrote it."

AGREE!

T@iy@ said...

RiM- I *need more cowboy boots. I am a jeans and t-shirt girl and they rock! Plus, when we move out of the 'city'(our small town city has one blinking light) and into the country I am *going to have horses again, so help me, and I will tell myself I *need the boots and actually believe it!

Robin in Montana said...

AP - I didn't read his last blog entry. I got as far as if he met me and I were female he'd size me up and then back down, and that it'd be my responsibillity not to dress in such a way that he'd *want to size me up and down. blah, blah, blah.

Robin in Montana said...

Taiya - check out Twisted X boots. I <3 them. You will need some when you get horses again. ::nod:: My spurs fit better on my pair of them than they do on my Ariats, and I like how I sound clunking around in them. :-D

I have no bitches except it is effing cold in this house and the fire will not stay going and I don't want to turn the heat on. I could have worse problems.

Shannon said...

No I am not a crier LOL....unless it is a stupid sappy movie, tv show, commercial LOL

I try to convince Josh all the time that I am a tough guy and that he should be scared because I am tough and bad ass....He just laughs at me.

T@iy@ said...

RiM- I will! Matt and I have been just barely talking ourselves out of a new pair each the last couple of months, so i am sure we will end up with some soon. i am waiting until after baby, though, just to be sure I get the right size.

T@iy@ said...

Except maybe now that I looked them up I might need some... hmm..

Robin in Montana said...

Shannon - I'mnot really a crier, either, although yes, stupid movies (and possibly mushy commercials) will tear me up. Other than that I cry when I get *really really mad, and then the fact that I'm crying makes me *more mad.

Robin in Montana said...

Taiya - You do, I am sure of it. They are really, really tight (at least the pair I have) and I really have to pull to get them on, but once they're on, they're like buttah, baby. Which ones are you liking?

suz said...

Shannon I am not a crier either but the hubs and I watched blindside last night. Sheesh, I balled my way through the entire movie.

T@iy@ said...

The Distressed Saddle boots are my fav. so far.

T@iy@ said...

I like the Ruff Stock ones, too. Hmm... I am going to show my hubs. My birthday is in 3 months. I can start hinting early. :D

Shannon said...

Oh that is too funny RiM....I cry when I get really mad too and then I cry more because I get so pissed off that I am freaking crying.

Josh and I watched 7 Pounds with Will Smith a couple of months ago and OMG I freaking bawled through the end of the movie when I figured out what was going on. And about 2 weeks ago Josh saw City of Angels was on and made me watch it and I lost it. I think he does that on purpose because he thinks it is funny when I cry at movies.

T@iy@ said...

Well, my DD is napping and I am going to go lay down for a minute or two before she gets up. :) Catch all of you daisies later!

Robin in Montana said...

::shakes fist a Josh:::

Shannon said...

Thank you RiM!!! I sit there and cry and he sits there and laughs at me. But let me tell ya when I cry because I am mad he tries everything he can to avoid me because he knows it is best to leave me alone LOL

Robin in Montana said...

Shannon -- yes. Those two different types of crying are in *whole different ballparks! lol.

Robin in Montana said...

I've been known to cry at those frickin LDS commercials on t.v., and we *all know how I feel about religion, lol.

kristin said...

Not sure why I had the other post's comments up b/c I *thought I was posting on here - but anywho...

Jealous suz! I want to see blindside!

Robin in Montana said...

Oh, yes, I want to see Blindside.

Robin in Montana said...

And I cry during Biggest Loser. I take it back, I am a crier. lol.

<---takes my red, watery eyes and goes to the corner.

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHAHA We can pretend we are tough Robin :)

Robin in Montana said...

Exactly. And we'll just kick their asses if they try to contradict us. lol.

suz said...

Ok, but if you guys watch the blind side, have your hankies.. not kidding. It just came out on DVD so that was a present for me/hubs.

suz said...

Well my lunch break is over and I have to go back to work. Have a good afternoon and I will attempt to be back by later.

Shannon said...

LOL

Well at least you and your sister dont have to do much to be truly impressive to the HW

Robin in Montana said...

Wow. I don't even get how someone like that *gets a job.

Robin in Montana said...

Ooohhhh, well, that explains *that, now, doesn't it?

kristin said...

they don't really get along - and HW is one who argues for the sake of arguing - and is always bad mouthing the owners - which baffles me - but she is *related.

Muliebrity said...

I am confused about how/why Israel's blogs are dated 2000. How does that make sense?

Anonymous said...

Mulie, she dates them that so there are many clicks to find them.

Robin in Montana said...

Time for Kristin's dinner update - tonight will be pork chop rice bake, sauteed zucchini, and salad. Just call me frickin' June Cleaver.

Robin in Montana said...

And smores outside by a fire.

kristin said...

Jealous - I'm marinated some beef stew pieces in soy sauce and sugar - and will make rice.

just had an idea - I would love to have asparagus with it but I might go get a cucumber - b/c LM will eat cucumbers.

Anonymous said...

Thought - reading CA is voting in Nov re: legalizing weed - I would never move away from my parents but would seriously consider moving to CA to grow and open up a farmacy.

Bitching - hubs gets 1 free tickets to graduation, the other tickets are $50 each payable ONLY by cashiers check... So you'll accept the dues the "brothers" pay that you've been doing what with since they've been out of work for over a year but you don't trust them to pay to go hear the union leadership talk about how great they are - help me dear god I can't stand it!

On IM - he's searching for something, I feel sorry for the guy. He's young, 4.5 kids and comparing his insides with other men's outsides.

Anonymous said...

Kristin - are you part asian?

kristin said...

I am actually - Japanese - but I dated a guy (Philipino)who made something like that - and I LOVED it so I am trying to recreate it.

Robin in Montana said...

Kristin - I've made something like that before, too. Trying to think of what it was called, my Korean friend made it and she called it ... can't think of it, had soy sauce, sugar and an Asian kind of salt/preserving thing. Bulgogi.

Margaret - This town has seriously like 1,200 people in it, and I don't know what the population of the entire county is, but it's not big at all, and there are THREE regulated pot farms here in just this town.

Robin in Montana said...

Kristin - I think what I made had some sesame oil in the mix, maybe. Cucumbers would be good if LM won't eat asparagus.

Muliebrity said...

So she is not saying that he wrote them in 2000, she is just burying them?

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - yes. She has an 'explanation' for why she's doing it, but what it amounts to is clicks

kristin said...

Here is what she says:

(And yes, I'll explain again that his posts are all back dated 2000. We are in the process of getting my blog revamped. Soon, my husband will have his own page on my blog. But for now, I backdate his posts so they are all organized together in their own category away from my posts. Blogger doesn't really have a good option on how to do this, so I just changed the dates.)

Muliebrity said...

RiM, I read her explanation, but it didn't really make much sense to me. I'm slow.

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I'm slow with you, and don't get why back-dating them makes for more clicks, but my only guess is it generates more chit chat about *why and when she explains it in half-ass terms like she has, people are still wondering.

kristin said...

More clicks b/c you can't read through google reader, if you want to read it you actually have to click on her blog to get to where his post is.

Robin in Montana said...

Here's an out of the blue question for you all to ponder. A man says he has had 200-plus sexual partners, mostly all at least short relationships, not just one night stands, was
'looking for himself', trying to recover from something that had happened to him, not finding it in each woman he took so moving on, then met a woman who was all he ewas looking for, married her, long-term marriage (over 20 years) and has not strayed since. 200. What do you think of that?

Robin in Montana said...

To clarify, he *thinks over 200. He has told his wife that he had many, many women before her, but never a number. For some reason the number has become an issue at this point.

Anonymous said...

First thought is he is full of it.

If it is true...ewww.

Robin in Montana said...

Deleted because it was a re-post.

Muliebrity said...

why is she suddenly so insecure about it?

what kind of time period did this "200" happen?

Robin in Montana said...

Christy - that's what I tend tothink, too, that 200 is a... a reach. It's obviously someone I know, I actually knew him back in his old 'party days' and while I know he certainly was never without a woman, I find 200 a teensy bit hard to believe. Anyway. I guess it just brought up a question in my head of at what point does a partner's past sex life make a difference? And how honest should you be? Mine is pretty dang boring, so I have no issue telling (most of) it. lol

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I don't know why it's become an issue, but it's a big, big deal right now for her. She does agree that she believes he has never cheated on her since they got togehter, and she *knew that he had been out there and doing his thing before her, so I dont' know what the deal is now. The time period I owuld guess was probably 10-plus years.

kristin said...

there are 365 days in a year. I don't know how old he is or when they got married but I would say it is feasible. 25 a year for 8 years - or once a month, each month for 16.67 years - twice a month, every month for 8 years.

Muliebrity said...

I bet it has something to do with FB. I bet he has some old women friends on there that she thinks could try and steal her man.

Muliebrity said...

True or not, why care now, unless he lied about the number years ago or something?

Robin in Montana said...

It's an old friend of mine (both of them are) and I don't *think he has a FB page. They are not married, (for tax and credit reasons) but have lived together for over five years, and she is one of those women who is on the outside very self confident, but has had three boob jobs, regular Botox (or restalyn, whatever the hell is popular now) has to have the newest, shiniest car, etc. I have known her for years, as well as him, and I love them both to death. She is superficial as hell on the surface, but on the inside, there is nothing that would stop her from taking care of a friend and she has a heart of gold. I feel the same about him. And I feel they are so good together. She has asked how *I would feel if say, Kelly, said he had 200 partners. Well. Gosh, I wouldn't like it at all. I'd also have to consider who he is as I know him now and how he got to where he is and work from there. She wont' say *what has prompted this, but it's big, and I feel bad all the way around.

Robin in Montana said...

And that's the thing -- apparently he hasn't ever lied about it, has been open about the fact that it was a lot of women, and why, but for some reason that number now is a factor.

200 women? I wish I had a pic and I'd forward it. There's nothing wrong with him, and he has as little bit of a 'fame' status right now, but back in the day when all this supposedly happened, he was nothing but a reasonably cute guy in a bar who had some money, but not a ton. I don't know ... it's just on my mind. I care aobut both of them and I think they are a very, very good couple, and I feel bad this has become an issue and I wonder *why.

Robin in Montana said...

and yes, AP, it is who you're thinking. lol.

T@iy@ said...

Well, I was reading along just fine until someone distracted me with the words "s'mores" "outside" and "fire". When and where and can i get there by plane in time?
RiM- Do you want to be my mommy?

Anonymous said...

200 would be what I call "hit and runs" and I would never trust that he could be with just me -and I'm a just me kind of girl - no swingers allowed!

I like korean kobe beef - my friends mom makes it with these fried veggie dumplings - delish. I'm dialing for chinese food now...

Robin in Montana said...

Killled it with my friend's man-whore boyfriend. lol.

T@iy@ said...

We had a chicken and potato crock pot concoction. I just threw some spices and stuff in it.

Muliebrity said...

How old are they, RiM?

PJ said...

Hi ladies,
You have brightened my afternoon with your humor.

Conferences until 9:00. I get very few parents (being I'm a music specialist and not a classroom teacher). So, I get to catch up on lots of work!

SW,
I'd say give Parenthood a couple more tries. The sibs smoked weed outside the public school a couple episodes ago - mom and dad there too. The characters seem to be developing a bit. I'm loving Peter Krause as a nice guy, after watching him on Six Feet Under for so long.

(He's from Minnesota!)

suz said...

Hi all, I am resigned to not getting any thing else done today.
Catching up. On the pot thing in CA, I would vote to legalize. The illegal growers are destroying the sierra's with their pot farms. They pack AK47's and my hubs hunts in those hills and has stumbled on empty camps. Would not want to find a occupied one. Also, it would eliminate some of the Mexico/California gang drug problems. Not all but some.
On the 200 partners. Hubs was married twice before me. Has a supposed daughter. I have had many partners. But is not an issue. That was his stuff before me and my stuff before him. We have been content to let it lie.
Long post. sorry.

Muliebrity said...

"Killled it with my friend's man-whore boyfriend. lol."

Funny that you say that because this is what I WAS going to say, but thought better of it. Until I unthought batter of if.

RiM, Sounds like they are perfect for each other! Superficial man-whore and a superficial bimbo.

Anonymous said...

RiM, I have no idea.

kristin said...

RiM - I don't know why it would be an issue now after she knew he had multiple partners before.

I've had multiple partners too - but that was my past - not my present - and if they trust each other - then it shouldn't matter - unless he lied.

I'm sorry.

Anonymous said...

On weed - most medicines are poison, I don't see anything wrong with it. Grow it, tax it, relax with it - kidding on the last one :) And I agree with Suz - it would cut down on the criminal element...

PJ said...

RiM,
Is SIP still active? Just curious. I read Wendy's latest blog post, and don't see any SIP people commenting on it.

Muliebrity said...

And isn't CA in massive debt? Maybe they can turn legalization into a cash cow. I doubt it, but why not try?

Anonymous said...

The other variable is always - what is considered sex...

kristin said...

CK - I also noticed that.

How are you?

How are the kids?

PJ said...

Hi Kristin,
I'm back to working lots and being busy after a lovely vaca. I will survive, and it's good to have a job.

Kids - daughter is feeling better, and son I don't hear from much, so I hope he's good. He got an on campus job in the library, so hopefully he and his wife will get to enjoy having a little bit of spending money.

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I know, right? Except I do care about both of them, and I don't feel like they are really superficial, all man-whore and boob-job-
Barbie traits aside.

I don't know, Mulie, but the woman irritates me and HGTV is my tv addiction. Usually. I will not be watching her.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Hi all.

I'm a Sagittarius.

Robin in Montana said...

Suz - I say letting it lie is the best thing to do, too, so long as things are 'safe' and good in the here and now. Discussion about past partners and so on, in detail, can only lead to hurt, IMO. Suffice it to say at an adult age, and with past marriage(s) no one is a virgin - let it be.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

My post disappeared.

Lisa said...

Back and RinM, I was figuring that's who you were talking about (the man-whore). I think you actually hit the point when you said he had stuff in his past he was trying to get over that may have contributed to this. You know, she's not got a right to be bothered if she knew about this going into the relationship. Frankly, I don't think he sounds like a cheater - I think he sounds like a runner and the fact he hasn't run on her is a very good sign that he really has found what he was looking for.

Margaret, I'm with you about legalization of pot. It's so silly that it's still illegal, imo.

BD, a fellow Sagittarius! You, Mulie and I will have own own special little club now so we can have turf wars with the Aries Clan. And good luck with your party tonight!

Kristin, I just read your blog...what a sweet conversation. :-)

I'll go check my mail. You still love saying that, don't you?

kristin said...

Did you see the latest on Nancy Grace - how horrible.

Oh and the convo continued tonight...I'll have to post what he said tonight. Such a cutie - just wish he would LISTEN.

Lisa said...

Yeah, I'm sitting here listening to it. Some cases tug on me more than others...this one is sad but isn't holding my attention. That's awful to say, I know.

My son just informed me he's going to shave his eyebrows off. *sighs*

PJ said...

AP,
Clue as to who is the 200 plus guy?

And why is Jake going to shave his eyebrows off?

Anonymous said...

Eyebrow shaving - going through a bob geldoff stage?

Anonymous said...

"My son just informed me he's going to shave his eyebrows off."

Uh, might want to inform him that they may not grow back just in case he wants them later in life.

My mom's boss (a woman) did that as a teenager and they never grew back. She later in life had them tattoo'd on.

Anonymous said...

I don't wear make-up but was thinking about getting mine done because mine are very thin - then I saw a woman who had had hers done and they did a unibrow!

kristin said...

it's sad - but it appears the man has hurt a child before - you think the mother would learn. Horrible but why would the mother leave the child with someone like that.

ummm...shaving his eyebrows - whatever floats his boat.

my son is on my ever loving last nerve. OMG!

it is like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.

Lisa said...

CK, I actually don't know the 200+ guy's name. I do know his wife/girlfriend/whatever she is through Robin, though. I recognized them by the description of her.

The eyebrow shaving is for a photo shoot he has Sunday for his band. I cannot tell you how much I *hate* this idea (the eyebrows, not the shoot). And it's more like an early Bowie phase...sort of a cross between Ziggy Stardust and The Thin White Duke. Very much that 70's glam-rock thing. People just look so ridiculous with no eyebrows, though.

PJ said...

Pedicures - state laws require disinfecting of tools and foot tubs - the salons must have licenses to provide the services, and be inspected regularly.

When I can afford them, I get them in the summer.

Lisa said...

Sandy, I warned him...he's determined.

I need chips.

PJ said...

82.5 minutes left at school tonight - argggh.

Lisa said...

CK, my fear is that just because state law dictates something, it doesn't mean it gets done. I think inspections are only done once a year here. that leaves them 364 days to mess up. <--worries about fungus a lot

Anonymous said...

I have never had a pedicure and don't plan on it. I too have a fungus fear.

PJ said...

AP,
I know. I'm so damn trusting.

We all have things like that. The place I go to is very nice, and I see her cleaning the tub and disinfecting implements. Have gone there for a couple of years.

I don't know how people can hurt kids - a lady was just sentenced here the other day. She had adopted children, killed 2 and had them in her freezer. She moved from DC to MD and moved the freezer with the bodies in it. They only found out because another one of her kids escaped from the house and was found wandering the streets - ugh!

Now you are going to need therapy for that one :)

Maybe we should join up with the Scorpio's that way we can have a hard head and a stinger LOL

Kristin Try whispering and see if LM listens. It really works, 9 years of teaching and I actually do have some advice. It makes them curious as to what you are saying.

kristin said...

Laura - he "hears" me, he just refuses to listen.

We were having a good evening and it just went downhill from there.

I loved the Margarita RX. Too funny!

kristin said...

I'm drinking now, farming, watching Grey's and cleaning during commercials.

I just shut his door - I have the kiddy proof door locks - he went ape shit - i let him for about 2 minutes - then went in there and told him he better stay in his room or I would shut it and keep it shut.

T@iy@ said...

I came pretty close to shutting the door, but I put her back in the last time and she stayed. Luckily.

Taiya - I hear you - I got home after getting up at 6:00 - getting LM up and both of us ready - off to school - then work - then home - to start dinner - and the kitchen is in the same damn state as it was this morning. SO didn't have to go to work until 1:00. I simply don't f'in understand. It pisses me off!

He doesn't have to deal with LM at all b/c he is asleep when I leave in the morning and doesn't come home until way after LM is asleep. They just don't get how tiring and emotionally exhausting it is to *deal with kids.

I'm not pregnant - so I know it is about a bizillion times worse - so I am sorry for that.

You want me to smack him for that?

Taiya and Kristin, my four year old used to get out of bed alot. We had every excuse from tummy ache, thristy, needs an ice bag for a boo boo. I finally told him if he stays in bed he could pick out a special breakfast in the morning. It's worked so far. Sometimes I still get the ice bag thing though.

kristin said...

Sandy - I got an e-mail from her yesterday? day before? You might want to send her an e-mail...I know she appreciates hearing from you guys.

She is in a lot of pain, that is all I got out of it.

kristin said...

That wouldn't work here, I just barely get him up in time to get him ready and out the door. It usually takes him about an hour before he is ready for breakfast.

Air popped popcorn and diet pop. My life is so exciting.

I need to pack for tomorrow, but I haven't yet. Kristin, did you check out that website for FL rentals?

kristin said...

bella - i looked at a few and sent them to my mom. I have been so freakin' busy at work, that I don't have a lot of time to focus on looking. The past few days I've been in a funk and don't really want to look - ya know.

Thanks! I will look more soon!

Shannon said...

I am going to have to send Tee an email tomorrow. I have been thinking of her all day today and hoping that she was doing ok.

I saw a condo on the beach on that site, sleeps 10, for about $1000 for the week. That might be reasonable if you split the cost among the adults.

:( Sorry Taiya - we're here if you want to talk or on e-mail if you don't want it all out there.

He should be helping - that just isn't right.

kristin said...

Hey Sarah - I saw the glasses! So freakin' cute!

kristin said...

Sarah - how is everything with you? Hoping things are better!

Shannon said...

HAHAHA OK Sarah so I went to see the man's new glasses and have to admit I got stuck for a few looking at his silliness. He is so dang adorable.

Now really is he as much fun as he portrays in pictures?

And on that ridiculously pathetic note, I am going to bed.

Night Daisies!

kristin said...

Taiya {{{HUGS}}}

I am so sorry! I know you are disappointed. Can't you talk to your mom and just mention that you would really like to use it as a "family" car - I know - I HATE family conflict, etc.

Maybe you can talk to them and work it out.

Goodnight.

kristin said...

Sarah -

I'm sorry, really I am. I can tell you, I'm a bit unhappy too. Frustrated really.

I hope things get better.

if you want to talk, I'm here.

kristin said...

Night Sarah - and you aren't whining.

Okay- I am going to go to bed now. Thanks for putting up with me whining, Kristin. :)

kristin said...

Taiya - I get it - I really do.

I am sorry that you are stressing over it - you shouldn't have that with the little one on the way.

You can always use the Daisy's as a sounding board.

kristin said...

Night ladies - see ya tomorrow!

Night Kristin.

"I don't know how people can hurt kids - a lady was just sentenced here the other day. She had adopted children, killed 2 and had them in her freezer. She moved from DC to MD and moved the freezer with the bodies in it. They only found out because another one of her kids escaped from the house and was found wandering the streets - ugh!"

This happened right around the corner from my previous house! The whole community was freaked! I actually went to a few benefits for the surviving little girl. Are you in MD?

Nilia said...

Any Virgos in the house?

Nilia said...

Bad timing! Still catching up.

I had parent interviews tonight also. Like CK, I am not a classroom teacher so I don't get a lot of parents who want to see me but I stay available all night for drop ins.

I'm craving wontons.

Muliebrity said...

I was catching up. Taiya, My parents are the same way. So annoying.

Anonymous said...

FT, I was hoping for crab rangoons but that didn't happen.

I'm getting prepped for my IEP meeting. Looking for an advocate too.

Lisa said...

Sandy, good luck with that!

Taiya, I'd be feeling exactly as you do about the home situation and the van, too. When it comes to family, I *hate bring up things to cause conflict, as well. it's easy to become a doormat that way, though.

Bella, loved the margarita thing. Also, I double-checked and it looks like a good weather weekend for you!

Sarah, Potato is one of the cutest kids I've ever seen in my life. :-) Still, I know it's hard for you...it easy for us to see his pictures and oooh and ahhh over his cuteness but living with any child is a different ballgame and one with medical problems is that much harder. I'm really so sorry you're so unhappy. Can you think of anything that could change it for you that's doable?
