Karen, I just quickly read the end of the last post...what did they do to your daughter in the ER? And feel free to ignore this if it means saying anything too personal about her. I'm just nosy and really pissed for y'all too, since you don't strike me as the over-reactive sort.

Call me a chicken, but I just deleted both those posts with details of what the hospital did today with Megan! I went through too much bullshit when I put out the details of Angela's personal issues, I'm not going to do the same thing to myself putting Megan's issues out there for public viewing. Suffice to say - she was treated very very unfairly and pretty much "profiled" as one thing and given treatment for one thing, and its probably not what they are treating her for.. but we won't find out for a few days. In the meantime, she's still in pain... and is upset and made to feel bad and it hurts me when one of my kids are hurting!
Karen - File a complaint. I am so pissed reading what the nurse said re: "reminder" shot. I do hope they find what is wrong with your daughter and I am so sorry she was treated in such an appalling way. Disgusting. If I ever heard one of my staff talking in such way or a doctor, I would raise holy hell.

I am writing myself notes - to form a written complaint - and making sure I remember details and times etc. so that when I do file the complaint it will be as exact as I can remember, but yes, I will not let this drop. I plan to wait the time frame to get the culture results and when they are negative, I plan to include them in my complaint! When you are dealing with a 20 year old "child" who is in horrible pain and scared, you do not treat her that way. At least not if she's MY daughter, and not if you don't want complaints against you. Stupid stupid nurse! The doctor was not rude, but I think he jumped to a diagnosis just to get her out the door - rather than investigating further. I hope this is not appendicitis, because they talked about doing an ultrasound and then just did the cat scan, and I'm not sure the cat scan would show appendicitis infection.... or maybe it would. I don't know, but I'm so freaking pissed at that nurse!!
Karen, if you aren't comfortable, you did the right thing in deleting those.

Karen - I am still so ticked regarding your daughter. The treatment of your daughter by that nurse is unprofessional and violates the principles of professional conduct. Nurses are there to teach, care for, protect and to be an advocate for those they are caring for. What this nurse said is abusive, judgemental, and unprofessional. The Dr. was being insensitive and violating confidentiality by announcing diagnosis with the door open.
I do think you are right in keeping your facts together to present in your complaint. I just want you to know that there was absolutely no call for what that nurse said, EVER!

Kelly's ex's latest stunt? She had asked, and he had agreed, that she could take the girls to Denver for Spring Break. Supposed to leave Sunday, so he'd still have them on Saturday as planned. Had them last night, took them home at 8:00, as usual. Sometime around 11:30 or midnight last night she texts him and says (which he doesn't get until it's too late this morning) that she 'changed her mind,' they are leaving at 5:30 *this morning, so sorry, he won't have them on Saturday, and she'd rather he not call while she's driving, but they'll be in Denver by Saturday night, so he could call Sunday morning.

If you want your profile removed from the free search, there's a spot on the lower-right hand corner labeled "privacy." If you click on that, you can request to have specific listings removed. I just started the removal process for **** and I, and supposedly it will take about 5 days to get removed. Also, just FYI, they like to limit the number of removal requests made at one time to two requests per e-mail address, but if you have multiple e-mail addresses, you can remove more than just two at a time.

My daughter cleaned the kitchen yesterday and is planning on cleaning much of the rest of the house for me and is supposed to be bringing me breakfast in roughly an hour :)
Josh has refused to go to work today and is going to take me to lunch today. Jeremy has a really bad habit of knowing that there are things we do every Friday and will manage to find a job that will last until 9 or 10 at night...josh refuses today.
Makes me happy, and friends are coming over for our Friday get together and special stuff for me :)

Robin she is going to create herself an ugly ugly little web there and I am sorry but those girls arent stupid and when they begin to put 2 and 2 together he web will fall apart and those girls will see just how ugly she has been and how she has used them against their fatehr.
What's anyone's plans for this weekend? We obviously don't have Kelly's girls, but will have my girls. We're moving some stuff, but can't really be in the house until next week. Weather is supposed to be crappy, so that kind of bars anything outside, but I'd like to go do something fun with the girls on Saturday - their dad is getting married the next weekend and so the end of that week will be full of family stuff and out of town friends and stuff for them.
Shannon -- my common sense side tells me you are right, but boy, are there days when I just think her ass needs beat in the here and now. The older one already is like, whatever, I just want to see my dad. The younger one is definitely copping an attitude based on what her mom tells her. I just tell him all you can do is continue to be *you, do what you've always done, make sure they know you love them and carry on. It's all he can do, short of turning this into the biggest 3-ring circus, which isn't going to benefit anyone.

I bought from everyone, including myself. Our red wines are fabulous right now, so I had to indulge.
Since I got host rewards from everyone else, I did get some stuff without overdoing it.
And yes, Robin, they had the Arbonne new stuff. I got their lifting gel because I'm starting to get lines between my eyebrows from squinting. Otherwise I'm wrinkle free thus far (oily skin is FINALLY starting to pay off). I wish I'd ordered the primer, though. I got a sampler pack of the RE9 Advanced, and will probably order when that's done, so I might add on the primer then.

BD - pretty much, yes. lol.
I haven't seen the RE9 stuff yet, but I've used the Nutrimin-C stuff in the past and *loved it. I do not have oily skin and that, combined with my love of the sun and no sunscreen, and just *maybe my love of alcohol is definitely taking a toll on my skin that needs to be fought.
I'll just go on record as saying I'm kind of a skincare product junkie. (AP can back me up on this, and I've tried everything from ARbonne to Avon to Sanitas to Philosophy to Oil of Olay to Clinique to (currently, and not a fan of) Aveeno.) Out of *all that junk, the things I've used that I actually felt like I saw a different with were Arbonne and good ol' Avon.

I have to say - I am not big on skincare AT ALL - I just started using moisturizer this past month. I just am not into that kind of stuff.
