I had to leave a comment on MWOP even with knowing that it is on moderation for the night. It just irks me that so many portions of conversations were deleted yet the person that would start it would still have their comment left. It cost us a little over $200 though :( boo!! the local college is doing jesus christ superstar on feb 16 and i wanted to go really bad, LOVE that music!! have since i was little. now i think we can't afford to get the tickets... damn vehicle!!!

BGGB is Blog Girls Gone Bad....kind of a private slam on everyone blog. I know about a few that were/are members but I seriously dont know that any of them would have said almost word for word what GM or Tina had said.

i also sent JM an email just prior to christmas. it was an apology of sorts. i made it clear that i don't agree with everything, but that it's her business to handle how she wants. and i just have opinions. i always tried to not post things for the sake of hatefulness-but i also know that at times i felt bad for things i did say. because i know that i was at times acting in a manner that wasn't true to who i am.
JM did send a very kind response to me. and thanked me for being open with her. i was probably one of the people that had some hard times happening in my own life, and used all of the drama as a distraction and maybe even a way to let out aggression. which again is just not who i want to be.
so that's that. will we agree on everything? no of course not. i will still speak up on occasion but will make sure my intentions are in the right place first.
most of all, i'm just glad to have "us" back sort of, and not quite as seperate. i enjoy chatting with all of you and just kind of miss the days that we were in the same spot. though JM brought us together, we really ended up being about so much more. even if the hard-core sheeples can't or won't allow themselves to see that.

As far as the conversation about who said what, when, and where and who is or isn't backstabbling behind the scenes, whose feeding information elsewhere, whatever, I got lost in that whole conversation because I wasn't around early days and don't know half of the people mentioned. That said, I am as always, a nosy broad, so when it all gets figured out, I hope someone writes a condensed version for me!
And I see, as SW called it, we had a free speech casualty last night. I don't get that. I've gotten worked up, but good, before in an email loop, but it was over an argument that turned very personal and nasty between long-standing friends, and I was hurt, as were others. I still didn't go racing out of there with hair flips and gum snaps. lol. So getting offended to the point of leaving over calling someone none of us even *know "old,"? Well, you lost me there. lol.

I don't think calling someone "old" is offensive. It's just a fact of life. I know I'm 20 and that's easy for me to say that but honestly, I'd rather be called old (which I have been, by a 3 year-old, LOL) than young and immature. Just me, though.

SW - You can do what my girls used to do when they wanted really long hair -- put a pair of pantyhose on your head with the leg part going down. Probably a good tongue clucking would work just as well as the gum snap. It makes for a good mental picture, if nothing else!

This may be an indication that *I am getting OLD, but I find John Mayer to be just kind of squicky and greasy and unattractive all the way around. That comment didn't make me like him any more.
And I am really liking Ellen on AI! I like her in general, but I was prepared to firmly hate her on AI.
Finally got around to watching this last week's episode of the Bachelor. I wanted to hate Vienna, but ... bless her heart, she's kind of sweet in a cross-eyed, trying to rise about white trash but no clue how to go about it kind of way.

As white bread as Jake is, he seems like he'd fit in with Tenley's family the best, but ... who knows? She probably doesn't know all the same ... er *tricks as Vienna does, which Jake probably wants to take into consideration. :-D
True RiM - I also did not know she was married. He says he wants someone who values her family, while it seems Vienna does, daddy didn't meet her first hubby until after the fact...hmmm....
