That video is on drugs. I'm not even kidding.

Angie said...

AP, What the heck is that video?

Completely unrelated: What is it about owning a blog that makes people go batshit crazy? ;-)

Oopsie! ::grabbing the duct tape::

Anonymous said...

Yeah, what Bec said. Hi Bec :)

Angie said...

And BTW, if you google "Rubber Johnny" Wikipedia will tell you the back story on the video. Gotta say I'm impressed with AP's range of knowledge re music and videos (if not so impressed with her taste in same).

I stopped listening to anything new after Kurt Cobain died.

Bec said...

Missed toddler time at the gym, but we're going to go hit up costco just to get out of the house. Woo.

Anonymous said...

Huh? Did someone hit AP with the banning wand? ::running away to hide in the corner from freaky video::

Shannon said...

Oh Oh Am I going to be caught up? LOL

I will say that I am not upset at my banning as I was leaving anyway I was more shocked at how quick it was...barely enough time for post and refresh....YIKES

Deb, EL, Bec and everyone else HELLO!!!

HiT I have been looking for you for a while. Did you get the print I had sent to you from Rhys? Did you like it? How are you doing? Are things with work calming down?

Shannon said...

AP that video freaks me out!!!

Angie said...

Hi Shannon, I think everyone is cowering in the corner from the freaky video. Sandy and I are, anyway.

Lisa said...

Bec, hi!

I still need to catch up on the last post but thanks so much, SW. *eyeroll and slaps you*
In hindsight, maybe that video's not exactly in keeping with a bright little Daisy blog though, is it? Ah, well!

'Morning, all. How is everyone?

Lisa said...

Whoa...DEB? EL? In addition to Bec? Yay! I'm going back to read but I'm SO glad y'all are here. I've missed you all!

kristin said...

and dammit...I was reading via e-mail and posting comments that way...and didn't see new post till the end :(

Hi HiT - the weather is gorgeous today too!

Hi Karen!

Now to catch up on this post!

Shannon said...

OH SHIT NO AP DONT GO CATCH UP ON THAT POST!!!!

Dammit I am gonna be spanked for sure....and not in a way I will like

Lisa said...

Oh, and one last thing before I catch up...SW, I *love Aphex Twin. A lot. That's really how I came to know about this video. :-)

Angie said...

Okay, AP, but I think you owe us something nice like this, to make up for skeering us: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1E7RMaVwtjc&feature=related

kristin said...

and I have to say that a persons personality can definitely make one prettier or uglier, IMO.

I could like someone and they be so-so, but have a heart of gold and they can become really attractive, or someone could be really good looking and be a total ass - yeah, not so attractive.

Bec - where are you planning on going?

kristin said...

Karen - do you have access still?

Just wondering...inquiring minds want to know :)

Shannon said...

It is freaking COLD....Ok so maybe not as cold as some of you have it but for the first time in weeks it got down to freezing....it is still only about 35 but the sun is shining so hopefully we really will get our 60 degree day.

Anonymous said...

That video is hysterical!

kristin said...

Hi AP!

How are you today?

I hope after you catch up I will still be able to play :)

Lisa said...

Okay, caught up but I just know I'll forget someone or something. Ack!

Deb, I am *so glad to see you and really, we aren't mean. Not much, anyway. We're just aggravated so yeah, some pokes have been made to vent some steam over stuff that's happened at SIP. It'll die off soon enough, I think, and we'll find something else to poke about. Considering how hurt some have been by the bannings and all, I think we've managed to be remarkably decent, actually. But in any event, I am awfully glad you're here and hope your daughter's surgery goes easily for her. Bec, EL, the same for you both...it's like big, missing pieces of our puzzle are falling into place. It's very nice. :-)

BD, I understand completely why you did what you did and why you need to take a break. When you want us, we'll be here and will be glad to see you whenever it may be. Just take good care of yourself.

SW, I like your awards idea...we could call it The Bannies. And thanks for the drink recipe, too.

For everyone commenting on my poor, impotent banning wand, fuck y'all. :-P

Lisa said...

And "va-jj"? Really?

What kind of "Christian" man ever publicly mentions his wife's vagina, anyway? Oh, right. None.

Kristin, are you going to behave today?

Shannon said...

LMAO

No really LMAO

AP I have tears

I knew I was gonna get it :)

I couldnt help myself

I still love you

Angie said...

Wait, RV mentioned her vagina? Really? Oh, don't make me go look! ::pout::

Shannon said...

No kidding AP first porn and now talk of his wife's "va-jj"......My husband will joke about mine when he is drinking but only when our good friends are around....not thousands of random strangers....RV is so gross

Lisa said...

Shannon, you're a goof. A sweet goof, but a goof. ;-)

Lindsay said...

I. can't. look. My fingers are wanting me to type in the website. Somebody help me. Va-jj? Oh dear lord.

Shannon said...

I have never claimed to be any different AP

Lindsay dont do it....you will loose 15 minutes of your life you will never get back not to mention the drop in your IQ

Lisa said...

Ack, Shannon, I have to admit that even around friends, I'd be bothered by that. But I think that's really a personal, comfort-level thing and am sure not saying it's wrong. The whole public thing, though? Is tacky, tasteless (and look, when *I say that, it's bad *eyes video above*) and not at all respectful to his wife OR his kids.

Anonymous said...

Lindsay & SW- Step away from your computers! You don't want to read RV's post!

Lindsay said...

Okay, I can do it. I can do it. I won't go there. I am *far to busy and important to waste 15 minutes of my life there :)

Shannon said...

Oh let me tell ya he still gets a back hand and the evil look but there is something with him and his friend that they like to say things to get reactions out of me and his gf....they are like a couple of 15 year old boys when they are together.

kristin said...

Just say no Lindsay!

AP - I will try to behave...but I won't offer any promises :)

My Sparkling Life said...

Shannon: Yes, I did! It's gorgeous. I got it about 2 weeks ago. It got deliver to the wrong house, but it happens all the time, so the neighbors just sent it over. THANKS!

Angie said...

Ugh, I went. And although it was painful, I'm glad I did, because I was super confused by the va-jj part of Robin's post this morning, which turns out to be a direct quote from RV's blog.

AP, please tell me you're not still harboring a crush on this guy. Please.

My Sparkling Life said...

I am working on a contest on for my blog. I am a huge Office fan and it's going to be a trivia challenge. Prize includes $25 dollar Carraba's gift certificate and some fun Texas-themed gifts. I know it sounds cheesy, but I'm excited!

Anonymous said...

But SW, why did you do that to yourself?

Lindsay said...

I was counting on you to be strong SW. I don't know if I can fight it anymore.

My Sparkling Life said...

That post had to be seriously edited. Remember, this guy can't even spell jalapeno or lettuce. Maybe he got Hooked on Phonics for Xmas.

Robin in Montana said...

I still want to know what a "figurative va-jj" is. I don't think Kelly has one. Should I be worried? Is that a character flaw? Does that mean he's incapable of being my inferior spouse if we get married? He can draw better than I can, and speak better in public. What does it all *mean?? ::worried look:::

Robin in Montana said...

HiT -- It's not cheesy, and I am very excited! I love that damn show. (Just watched the rerun of Angela licking her cat and then hacking up the hairball. That's some good television, right there.)

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: LOL!I love it when she was hissing at all of her cats.

Anonymous said...

HiT- It's not cheesy!

RiM- I so want to know what a figurative va-jj is, too. ::scratching head::

Lindsay said...

I'm going out on a limb to say it has something to do with being in touch with his feminine side. Or maybe he's a p*ssy. I could be wrong seeing as I haven't read the post.

Robin in Montana said...

Corinne - I think it's important we find out while we're both still single, before we make a Very Bad Mistake. :nods:

Robin in Montana said...

Lindsay - you're probably right. I'm trying to read too much into a comment made by a man who says silly rabbit. lol.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I'm back for a hot second, because I was thinking.about the book club blog while I was out grocery shopping, which is probably why I hit A. in the head with the back door of the car, and ran over her foot with the shopping cart. After which she informed me, "Mommy, I am not having a very good day."

ANYWAY, it seems to me that, should one person be in charge of the blog, issues might occur for various reasons. For checks and balances, I was wondering if anyone would like to be a co-author of the book club blog, which yes, I will keep going, because I am a giant dork who loves to read and loves to talk about reading.

My Sparkling Life said...

I think he takes the run-on sentence to a whole new level.......

Anonymous said...

RiM- Lol. Yes. I wouldn't want to make a mistake that could have terrible consequences. Do you think I should email IM and ask him? :P

Anonymous said...

Bd- I would be okay to help you but that is only if a) you are fine with it b) no one has issues with me. :)

Jennifer-Lynn said...

My husband is pretty secure in his masculinity, but he would never:

A.) say "va-jay-jay," unless he was talking about the spot on "The Soup" called "Oprah's Va-jay-jay."
B.) Consider himself to have figurative lady business.
C.) Let me write about it while pretending to be him.

Robin in Montana said...

Corinne. You'll have to because I am banned. I wanted to ask about the figurative va-jj as well as being the inferior spouse. I'm all about the relationship work.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Corinne:

I'm fine with it.

I, like anyone else, am prone to flying off the handle and getting annoyed; I just want someone there to bring me back down and say "hey, this is no big deal; pull up the granny panties and get over it."

KWIM?

Lindsay said...

BD - I just laughed out loud! I can say the same about my husband, too. In fact, I'll add

D.) Say silly rabbit. Ever. Not even to his kids.

Robin in Montana said...

BD - Let me write about it while pretending to be him. LLOL!

Seriously, I feel a little bit embarassed for him.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Lindsay:

RE: silly rabbit...he might say it to the kids. But IRL, among consenting adults? No way.

Anonymous said...

Bd- I understand. If you're okay with me, then I will help you! :)

RiM- Should I really email her/him? Because I am *this close to doing it :P

Robin in Montana said...

Corinne -- maybe just ask on the comment section of the blog. You know, for the education of all the readers. ::nod::

I want to still be in the book club, but I will just admit in advance that I will suck at it, just due to time constraints.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

And now, after pushing a shopping cart and accidentally assaulting my 4 year old, I take a percocet, because damn, that was a bit much.

I'm feeling better though. Augmentin is working.

Corinne, I'll add you.

Lisa said...

"AP, please tell me you're not still harboring a crush on this guy. Please."

I am. Besides, that's not a guy talking. That's JM and you know it.

"I still want to know what a "figurative va-jj" is."

A pretend, inverted dick. Wow. That's something I never thought I'd think or type.

"ANYWAY, it seems to me that, should one person be in charge of the blog, issues might occur for various reasons."

Huh. I never thought about this. Do y'all think we should do it here? Be honest, I won't be bothered!

Robin in Montana said...

BD - I am sorry you're dealing with this and I hope you get to feeling better very soon.

Anonymous said...

Bd- Oki doke.

RiM- I think I will comment on mckdaddy.

My Sparkling Life said...

BD, sending good vibes your way!

Corinne: Go for it!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

AP:

I was definitely not referring to here. I just know myself, and can definitely see shades of myself in previous, uh, episodes. I am not afraid of that happening here, although at this point I'm also not afraid to tell you if I think you are being an asshole.

Deal?

Anonymous said...

Done.

Here's what I posted:

'Hmmm. For educational purposes, may I ask what a figurative va-jj is? I am a little behind when it comes to the modern-day psychology of marriage.'

Lindsay said...

Corinne - Can't wait to see what his followers respond!

My Sparkling Life said...

My hubby was looking for some E-books to buy last night. Guess what popped up? A guide to overcoming porn addiction and masturbation! I laughed so hard!

Anonymous said...

Lindsay- me too, me too!

HiT- OMG. I would've been laughing too!

Lindsay said...

I wasn't really aware of the sinister masturbation addiction problem America was facing. Maybe I've been hiding my head in the sand.

Robin in Montana said...

They won't answer. There's been so much head-thumping on him over saing "va-jj" already today. Of course, the sheeple thought it was positively *darling and so very, very "real" of him. lol.

Robin in Montana said...

Lindsay -- me, too. Explains the rise in cost of paper, though, doesn't it? All that Kleenex for the results of addiction.

Anonymous said...

Alright. I'm off for today.

SW- I'm gathering my voodoo powers for the men's figure skating free program ;)

Have a good afternoon/evening all!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I have a very real question regarding Christian marriage and masturbation. So don't laugh.

If masturbation is bad...then how do the McK's explain the sex toys? Because, even if they are using it together (ugh) it's still not actual male-female penetration...it's still a form of mutual masturbation, no?

Lindsay said...

I thought tube socks were more expensive the other day when I went to buy some for my husband, too.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Hmmm:

I wonder if Kimberly-Clark (the makers of Kleenex) have subliminal messages in their advertising, endorsing masturbation in order to boost their sales.

Anonymous said...

Bd- Exactly. Maybe you should post that on BF?!?

Alright, I'm really gone now!

My Sparkling Life said...

BD: Very good question.

Lisa said...

"I was definitely not referring to here. I just know myself, and can definitely see shades of myself in previous, uh, episodes. I am not afraid of that happening here, although at this point I'm also not afraid to tell you if I think you are being an asshole.

Deal?"

Deal! And thanks. I know you weren't meaning here but it was a good point and got me to thinking.

Lisa said...

BD, that's an interesting question. Would it (I cannot believe I'm typing this) be masturbation still if he used it on her? Or, um, she on him?

Robin in Montana said...

BD - I'm not sure. I know that where I just came form, oral sex is out, as is masturbation, and I would assume toys, too, since it's all "external manipulation." Or something.

My Sparkling Life said...

I'm losing my lunch here.... I can't burn the image of MckWanker out of my head.

Robin in Montana said...

came *from.

kristin said...

see ya corinne!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

AP, I don't know. That's where I'm unclear. I would assume that if it's not, you know, organic matter, designed for procreation it would be out.

Heh.

I really was hoping to get someone who identified as Christian to answer this, because I would honestly like to know.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Coming from Catholicism, of course, anything related to sex for fun is out, but as good Catholics, we ignore that. :)

Robin in Montana said...

BD -- LOL! I don't know -- I googled a little bit and didn't find anything concrete one way or the other. I just figured if oral sex is "bad," then so would toys be. This whole conversation puts "silly rabbit" in a *whole new category for me. :-D

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM:
This whole conversation puts "silly rabbit" in a *whole new category for me. LMAO!

Lisa said...

I love Catholics and their ignoring...oh, the stories I could tell on that one. ;-)

I wish we knew, too. Maybe someone could ask on BF?

Karen said...

I'm back again, off and on while job hunting! Has anyone ever gone through an employment agency? I am freaking out - I just checked on the NY unemployment site and I have THREE weeks left - holy shit, I need a job now!

Kristin - Yes... as of now :)

I still haven't read RV's new post, here I go to read it right now....

Robin in Montana said...

Oy. Another 6th grade basketball game tonight at 5:00. Actually, they are very fun and due to a severe lack of refereeing, they go by very fast.

My daughter? I wouldn't expect that any of you need to be watching for her in the WNBA any time soon. This last game on Tuesday, as they were lined up for the game to start and she's out there supposedly guarding her girl, she looks at me and mouths, "Does my hair look okay like this?" :::sigh:::

Lindsay said...

The book of Solomon makes it pretty clear in my mind that sex is created to be enjoyable between a husband and wife, according to the bible. Sex must be important because an entire book is dedicated to it. At least that's how I justify it!

I am apparently not as *good a Christian, as the McK's or the rest of their following because I don't have a problem with masturbation - and can't explain where it becomes a sin.

Robin in Montana said...

Lindsay -- I'm just saying it makes sense. She has talked of "playful sex" before, and a silly rabbit would seem to fit that theme.

Robin in Montana said...

:::fluffs handbasket to hell for Lindsay:::

Robin in Montana said...

Karen - I've used an employment agency in the past. It was the state's employment agency, though, not a private one, so no fees or anything for me.

Karen said...

Robin, you are cracking me up today - love the fluffing of the handbasket, and your daughter and wondering if her hair is ok, my middle child, Ang, was in gymnastics when she was about 4, and she wore the cute little leotard and tights and she was doing tumbling and they were trying to show her the plain old summersault, and she wouldn't do it - they kept trying to get her to - she finally said it would ruin her braids!! ha!

Lindsay said...

I totally just got it RiM - a little slow on the uptake today!

Promise me I'll have good company in my little basket! I'd hate to go to that party alone.

Karen said...

Yea, thats what I want to try, no fees for me - but I'll go do testing and whatever, I think I might set up an appointment, and go see what they have to offer, while continuing to search on my own too.

State's employment agency? like working for the state? or ?

Karen said...

Lindsay I'll be in that basket - no question in my mind!

Lindsay said...

In Washington we have a place called Work Force or something like that where they help try to place you in a job. It's not necessarily working for the gov't, but they just assist you finding something.

Robin in Montana said...

Lindsay - I'll be there. I don't share my vodka, though, so bring your own. :nods:

Karen - I am thinking (and I could be wrong) that you have said you are in Ohio, so I just typed in Ohio employement services or something like that, and got this site. It's basically just an employment agency where employers and job seekers can use the site for free, as opposed to paying for other employment agencies. I don't know my Ohio geography from a hole in the ground, so when I did it I just put in the parameters of 25 miles surrounding Akron and all jobs listed, and this is what I got:

http://ohiomeansjobs.indeed.com/jobs?as_and=&as_phr=&as_any=&as_not=&as_ttl=&as_cmp=&jt=all&st=&salary=&radius=25&l=akron&fromage=any&limit=10&sort=

Shana said...

AP, are you around?? I need to talk at ya love.

kristin said...

::wiping forehead...thought Shana might be out to get me for my comment about Jeanette!

Hi Shana! Are you healed?

Robin in Montana said...

except I spelled it correctly when I googled it -- "employment services". Good grief.

Lisa said...

Karen, go to your state's website and you should find a link the state's employment thing. It's for *all jobs, not just state jobs. In Florida it's called Joblink or PeopleFirst, I think.

Also, don't rule out temp agencies. Many places looking for permanent employees us them so they can try you out, first. A lot of jobs go permanent from them.

Lastly, don't use one that charges you. The employer should pay any costs.

Karen said...

Robin, thank you! I have been using this site, and have sent in a few resume's to a few jobs. This is the site that I found the job for working at board of drug, alcohol and mental services, or something like that! Thank you for looking though, and I haven't looked there today so am looking right now!

Waves - HI Shana!!

kristin said...

::worried...maybe Shana is talking to AP about banning me for saying I had a girl crush on Jeanette.

damn...duct tape STAT!

Shana said...

Hey girls!! {{Waving madly}}

AP...I emailed your yahoo account.

Kristin...I ain't mad at ya! Jeanette is very lovable & her mouthiness *is attractive, ha!

Lisa said...

Shana, I'm here...going to read.

kristin said...

Just a few minutes ago, my sister has a ruler in her hand and walks into the bathroom.

She looks at me and says, I know you are wondering why I have a ruler in my hand and taking it to the bathroom.

I'm like, yeah, why?

After the topic of conversation here today, you have to wonder.

She comes out of the bathroom...says its 13 inches.

She is going to get her hair cut and giving it to locks of love.

Get your mind out of the gutter ladies :)

I said, that's what she said. :)

laura said...

HEY THERE! Hope that all are well and are having decent days. I had to laugh about Bec going to Cost*co. That is what we do to pass the time on dreary days.

Has anyone heard from Tee?

Bd take Care of yourself and heal.

Shana glad to see you around miss your sense of humor.

kristin said...

Hi Laura!

How are the gentelmen?

My Sparkling Life said...

I just posted a contest and giveaway on my blog! Check it out girls!

laura said...

Kristin

They are great! Today was mother's morning out for me, and I was free for 3hr 45min. Went to shop at their store and then lunch with Jeff. They are over 21 lbs fully dressed and finally they have outgrown 12mo clothing at 28 months.

In short we are all well, and the sun is shining in NC. It is amazing what a little light can do for the spirits.

Does LM have asthma, or is he still battling bronchitis?

laura said...

AP what do you think is going to be on Nancy tonight? I wonder if it is going to be about Tiger Woods. There are days that I laugh when I'm watching my yelling shows knwoing that you are right there with me.

Lisa said...

Hey, Laura! You know, I'm tired of Tiger...I hope she has something better on than that. Have you been watching the jailhouse tapes of Misty Croslin? She and her family crack me up when they try to do math!

laura said...

They are lacking in the math dept, and I wonder how they function in daily life. It makes me so sad when they show those tapes, the stupidity of these people. Where were Misty's parents when all of this was going on? I haven't been in their shoes, but letting a teenager act as the mother of a child she didn't birth. I hope that I can do a better job withthe gentlemen.

Shannon said...

Ok breaking from the math for a moment but has anyone else happened to notice that Tina is back to being a Mean Girl again on MWOP?

laura said...

Tina=GM?

laura said...

Shannon how was the casting of your son?

My Sparkling Life said...

Shannon: I noticed that too.

Shannon said...

Nope Tina is on there joining right in with the bashing of JM....GM was on the other day telling us all how we are losers and jealous and need prayer.

The doctor didnt cast him. Apparently it isnt broken or something IDK....she sent the xray off to a radiologist to look at but as of right now he is not casted and has a free hand LOL

Shannon said...

HiT glad I am not just hallucinating that :)

such a hypocrite.

kristin said...

I too noticed that!

Laura - bronchiolitis. He got better and then Friday night/ Saturday morning not so good. Now just a really nasty cough, when he coughs. Follow up tomorrow.

Robin in Montana said...

HiT -- I entered! Very fun. Definitely not sure on a couple, although I've watched that show like church. No Carraba (spelled that wrong, didn't I?) here, but if I won I'd be happy to donate. Great idea!

Angie said...

Afternoon all! It's good to see Shana popping back in today. And Laura. Sorry for anyone else I left out.

And how great to see BD chatting it up! Makes me so happy!

laura said...

Gald that you are going back in tomorrow. It must reaaly take all of your energy to get him to sit for the treatments. I love the massage gift to your mom, is it from massage envy? How is your sister's pregnancy, insurance taken care of?

kristin said...

I received an e-mail from Tee - she is suffering from a "kidney stone from hell" and she says "I'll be back later as soon as I can say two sentences without screaming."

kristin said...

Laura - I do think it is massage envy. I had never heard of it before, is this something new?

Yes, some treatments are easier than others but 15 minutes of pure torture.

As far as insurance, stuff keeps getting lost, etc. She is having fun with it.

Thanks for asking :)

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: YOu got all but 2 right!

Robin in Montana said...

HiT -- Dammit! Which ones did I miss? You can email me -- LoopiRobbi@aol.com. I had a couple of iffy ones, I know.

laura said...

Massage Envy is a chain of massage parlors that has been in my area for about a year. Massage parlor sounds, well naughty, but they are supposedly very nice.

Robin in Montana said...

I would possibly sell my first born -- well, no, not her -- one of my cats, maybe even Jerry, for a massage about now.

laura said...

Kristin My father had to take breathing treatments and he was as bad as a small child. My mom was on his back the whole time to keep the damn mouthpiece in his mouth. It was more lie smoking a cigarette when he did a treatment.

Robin in Montana said...

Just a total random aside, I am so stinking excited that we may be buying a horse for Kelly. Except maybe I'll get him and he'll take my Jerry since Kelly and Jerry are both long-legged drinks of water. The new horse (maybe!) is named Blue, is a buckskin, and is very sweet. Now we need a trailer since whathisname got my trailer in the divorce.

laura said...

RIM that is good news. Do you have enough hortsesw to go around for all of the girls?

Karen said...

Robin - awww a new horse, how cool!! do you have pictures of him?

kristin said...

I want a horse :)

Very cool RiM!

Laura - he wears a mask, and he keeps opening his mouth and putting the bottom portion in his mouth.

Robin in Montana said...

My two girls both have horses, although they are up at his house. One of Kelly's girls has a horse (waaaayyyy more expensive of a horse than I'll ever own) and he's stabled somewhere. His other daughter has absolutely no interest in horses at all, so she won't want in, anyway.

I don't have pics of him yet -- well, maybe I do, since he's belongs to a friend of mine and she's had him out working cows when I was there. I'll look and see.

suz said...

RiM, oh love me those buckskins. I had a little buckskin quarter horse about 14 hands, named Bucky (yeah, I did not name him). He could out walk all the other bigger horses, he had short horse syndrome.lol I miss my horses.

laura said...

Suz are you the gal with the girls from Haiti?

suz said...

No, not me. There is another Suz out there, she spells hers Suze, maybe that is her.

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: Horses are gorgeous. I miss Montana. We honeymooned in Lakeside and it was amazing.

suz said...

HiT, I have to confess. I have never watched the office. (ducks to avoid getting hit) Everyone I know says it is really funny. I think it might be the type of show you have to watch from the beginning to get. Kind of like Seinfeld, which I have also not watched.

kristin said...

I had never watched it and now, on occasion I will. It is pretty amusing, the few episodes I have watched.

suz said...

Kirstin, one of my friends has the dvd's of several of the seasons, I need to borrow them and watch them.

My Sparkling Life said...

Suz: I won't hit you, I promise ;) Here's a little hint (the questions are easily found via google, if you want to give it a shot !)

kristin said...

OMFG - pregnancy makes my sister angry and freakin hysterical!

She and one of the salesman do NOT get along. She keeps threatening to stab him...sorry, but it is amusing...and I know that she isn't serious about it.

He closed the door on her 4 times b/c she had a window opened a crack - and he kept closing the door while she was in this small room.

Oh how freakin' funny!

Robin in Montana said...

Suz - I didn't know you had horses. I did without for many years and I hated it. Sometime I'll have to put up the pics and story of my summer with Jerry the first year I got him. He had a tooth that needed pulled (over $6,000, couldn't afford that) and so my vet said he would be willing to "try" it. All summer long at the vet with that horse, putting him down on grass out in front of the office, unsuccessfully trying to pull the tooth. Then he was in a pasture across the road from the vet's office since he was hanging out over there every day, and got his head caught between the barn and the fence, and cut his throat down to the jugular vein and exposed bone. So THAT cost a lot more, stitches that had to be replaced 2 or 3 times, and a long summer of him wearing a Kotex strapped to his jaw to absorb the gook and me mummy-wrapping his head in various bright colors all summer. I love that dumb horse. :-D

HiT -- Lakeside is about 90 miles south of me. It's so beautiful there in the summer. Did you go over to Bigfork? Kalispell?

fersher said...

Yo. I'm over there practically commenting on my own at MWoP. Miss you ladies! :-)

kristin said...

Hey fersher!

I've been thinking of you lately. We have some roosters out wandering around across from the office I work at.

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: Went to both. Went to the Bigfork playhouse, Glacier, Polson, Hungry Horse. We were there about 10 days.

My Sparkling Life said...

fersher!

fersher said...

KRISTIN! Hello! Doing well, thanks! Yourself?

fersher said...

HHHHHHHHHiiiiiiiiiTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

HiT -- very cool. I love Bigfork in the summer. There's a bar there with a big open outside yard in the back with local bands. Can't beat it.

I'm curious what he/she means with the "figurative va-jj" thing. Is he trying to imply that he's in touch with his feminine side? I guess I just don't understand.

Also, no man that scored a 19 on the ACT is going to write like that. He couldn't spell lettuce not all that long ago. It has to be Mckmama writing those posts. Barf.

kristin said...

I'm good. Tired, but that is given.

Trying to determine if the poop out on the doorstep is that of the rooster or not.

I saw you pop on a while ago and then you disappeared again!

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher! I've been wondering how you and your darn chickens were.

My Sparkling Life said...

fersher: I was abducted by alien's but I'm back now.

fersher said...

RiM - I may disappear at times, but I am always lurking. That's the M.O. that pissed WON off so much! LOL.

HiT - glad they released you!

suz said...

RiM,
I don't have horses any more (sniffs) I miss the two boys I had and wish everyday we were still in a position to have them. We just ended up moving around enough I had to let them go and we moved back to Cali and a place that I can't have them. Still miss em though. I've been to Bigfork too! We spend a week at Flathead lake, that was awesome, I want to move to Montana when I retire.
Fersher, glad to see you out and about! Bok Bok!!

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher - I think we're going to buy some damn chicks this spring. I'm against it. I hate chickens. Seems my vote is not being considered.

::wondering what would draw the coyotes here the quickest:::

:-D

fersher said...

SUZ - BOK BOK? What the cluck are you talking about? :-)

Robin in Montana said...

Suz-- I have land for sale. Six acres, with creek frontage, Forest Service on three sides. ::nod::

fersher said...

RiM - I have one thing to say to you: chicken dinner!

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: I'll trade you some prime Texas real estate for that :)

suz said...

RiM, really? I am way not close to retirement age that is the problem. My husband HATES California(he grew up in Idaho) But I am not kidding, we really liked Montana as a place to go. Love to hunt and fish, you get plenty of that in Montana.

fersher said...

So, does anyone know who the moderator is of MWoP?

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher -- I hear you. Chickens should be tasted, and not heard.

HiT -- You'd have to live across from my ex-inlaws. Are you okay with that?

fersher said...

RiM - you're killing me! If you only KNEW how much I love my pet hens. The first thing I do when I get home from work (after kissing my husband hello, that is) is go out to see my chickies! They run up to me and cluck so much! It's darling!

PJ said...

fersher - you are truly an enigma.

Leah Richelle (or someone with a name like that) indicated it was someone she knew - perhaps from BGGB?

Just a guess from reading some of the earlier threads.

Robin in Montana said...

Suz -- Really on the 6 acres. I have pics. :-D It was part of my divorce settlement, and it's beautiful land, but it is literally across the creek from my inlaws and any building site would mean looking at them all day. And yeah. I don't want to. It's a little over 6 acres, actually. Easement to county road. No power or phone lines, in, although the easement includes provisions for that. Perc tests for septics have been done for like 3 different possible building sites.

Shannon said...

So Let me say hello to Tina....good to know you are lurking. And FYI Tina I left the site...then was banned so please get it right.

Shannon said...

Sorry ladies you may now continue LOL

I just find it fun to see people make comments about things said here other places....so I just figured I would answer here. :)

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher -- on our ranch, my dad used to have "his" chicken that would come from the coop every morning and sit outside our yard gate and wait for my dad to come out to go to work. He would come out, pick her up and carry her, petting her and talking gibberish, all the way back across the yard, drop her off at the coop before heading on to the barn. I'm not going to lie, I always thought that was weird. :-D

kristin said...

Where is she again Shannon?

My sister is off to donate her hair to locks of love!

fersher said...

Hi, CK!!!

Well, whoever the moderator of MWoP is, she sure is articulate. I'm enjoying it. The best anti-Mck blog thus far!

Shannon said...

LOL Kristin she is reading here. She answered my comments about here just a little bit ago over on MWOP....kinda funny really because I havent engaged her at all over there and then she is talking about me looking rather foolish :)

Hi CK

My Sparkling Life said...

RiM: At first I thought you wrote ex-laws (the aliens have messed up my brain).

fersher said...

RiM - OMG! So awesome. I love chickens. I didn't give you details before, but I have 5 hens. There is one (Medusa) that lets me pick her up so I nuzzle her chest with my nose. Then another one (Schwartz-y) lets me scratch her back so I do that. The other 3, I just pull their tails. This has, more or less, become a routine for us! LOL! I AM crazy. Oh, well.

fersher said...

Shannon - I was a bit perplexed myself with Tina's comment. I was going to say something on MWoP, but I decided to leave it alone.

My Sparkling Life said...

Hubs and I have talked about getting some chickens. But one of the homeowner's association board members lives right behind us. Don't think we could hid the clucking.

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher -- There are worse things than being crazy over chickens.

My Sparkling Life said...

fersher: Do the other 3 have names?

suz said...

RiM. backing up to forestry land is a good thing, no way for anyone to trespass. I could have my horses again, and yes chickens, cause I have always wanted them, I am jealous Fersher!

fersher said...

RiM - I appreciate the vote of confidence! Yeah, me!

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher -- I'll bill you.

PJ said...

Hi all! Is Karen here?

fersher said...

HiT - remember "mammie-gram?" I thought of you yesterday when she tried REAL hard to correctly pronounce the word "pharmaceutical." It was NOT pretty.

PJ said...

Who here is from McKinney Texas?

fersher said...

RiM - can I pay you in fresh laid chicken eggs???

My Sparkling Life said...

HiT: I was thinking about that the other day! How did "pharmaceutical" turn out.....

Robin in Montana said...

Fersher -- I'm thinking.

Erin said...

Hey Fersher, I still think I should get the chicken dinner first!

fersher said...

HiT - OMG, it was a train wreck. Something like:

FARM-CUTICLE

fersher said...

ERIN - you must ask yourself, what comes first? The chicken dinner, or the egg? I say the egg!

My Sparkling Life said...

fersher: LOL!

fersher said...

HiT - she's annoying as hell, but great for a good laugh!

My Sparkling Life said...

fersher: I know what you mean. I have one that lets out this annoying squeal everytime she gets excited. Drives.me.crazy.

fersher said...

HiT - makes you want to say, "Shut it, Miss Piggy!"
