It's Sunday.

Let's all watch church on TV!

That's Jan Crouch and she co-founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network with her husband. Lord knows I have to give proper credit on this one.

That irony, if it's there, doesn't reflect on me. So me saying anything about remaining friends holds no irony on my end.

I extended the same friendship to you, too, Kristin. You know I did. Nothing's changed in that.

I dunno, it just seems a bit to me that you still hold a bit of an edge against me for what happened. Maybe I read that wrong. I could certainly own that. Even if I don't get it.

End of story. :)

Jill:

I'm so, so, sorry. I wish I'd had the wherewithall to tell you that earlier.

Wanda's dad is a creeper.

Lois also played the George's fiance's mom on Seinfeld.

kristin said...

Thanks BD!

How was everyone's day?

It rained this morning but got to spend time with the fam. LM loves his cousin. It's so fun when they get to see each other.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

She sure did! She's also a David Lynch fixture.

Angie said...

Grace Zabriskie (Lois) is a terrific actress. I've loved her for years. She was fantastic as George's fiance's mom.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

M. is on my lap right now, wearing a peace sign nightgown and a Mexican wrestler's mask.

kristin said...

a wrestler's mask? which one? too cute!

Sorry SW - I can't jump into your conversation - I have no clue!

twirldawg said...

Kristin- today was another beautiful day.
I'd like to think that it was God and Rajaan's way of telling us that everything is going to be alright.
I can't imagine what his mother is going through right now and I hope she finds peace.

Angie said...

"wearing a peace sign nightgown and a Mexican wrestler's mask"

Now that's an irony we can all appreciate. ;-)

kristin said...

and I want to apologize to those of you who don't like drama, etc but when R2 stepped in, I had to put my two cents in.

It really is water under the bridge and I moved on.

So seriously, e-mail me if there is anything else you wish to discuss.

Going to "weed a book" and then put the little guy to bed!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

It looks kind of like this, but there's no mesh in the eye or nose holes.

Angie said...

<<--doesn't really knows what "irony" means though

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I should have taken a pic, but I just put her to bed. When 19 month old girls don't nap, the universe goes higgly-jiggly.

Lisa said...

"AP- there is a memorial service on wed. and a funeral on sat. so this will be another tough week."

Will it be duing a time the kids can go?

"Who is talking shit about you? I'm confused."

No one that I know of. We're just goofing around. :-)

Robin said...

Why is it that anything I had to say required a response from you, Kristin? Why is it that you still seem to harbor a grudge against me for what happened?

Eh, it doesn't matter. I didn't come to say what I said to cause drama. I came to say what I said because I needed to say it. And now I have.

And there hopefully it can rest.

twirldawg said...

AP- yes everything is after school hours.

I thought you were talking about the lyrics blog.

Anonymous said...

R2, I would like to respectfully point out that you have said, multiple times, that you were through with the conversation. And you seem to have to have the last word in, as well. Not fair calling out Kristin for responding to you.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I want something sweet. Which is fine, except that A. and I made this hideous strawberry cake (from a box...my mom bought it) that she then topped with strawberry frosting and nonpareils. And if I try to leave to get the pistachio ice cream I've wanted for about 2 years now, her 4 year old self will ask why I'm not eating the cake.

Lisa said...

"M. is on my lap right now, wearing a peace sign nightgown and a Mexican wrestler's mask."

How cute!

Robin said...

Go back and read again please, Bella. I wasn't calling Kristin out. I was responding directly to something she herself said.

But thanks for your concern. :)

Angie said...

Holy crap, Big Love is tense! Not as tense as Daisy today, but still tense.

Lisa said...

"AP- yes everything is after school hours."

Oh, I'm so glad. Hopefully it will help everyone find a little peace.

"I thought you were talking about the lyrics blog."

No, it was about...crap. Now I forget. I think it started with me saying not everyone likes everyone and that's okay.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

AP:

How far are you from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale?

Nilia said...

Awww BD, you got yourself banned for ME? You are my new BFF. I got myself banned for Shannon but not in such a direct way. Sometimes you just have to say what's what, you know?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

SW:

Am not watching it now; I'll be watching it at 9 our time.

Angie said...

No worries, BD. I won't post any spoilers! I know you're a left coaster.

Nilia said...

Jill, you popped in while I was out with the family watching a friend with his new band. I keep missing you but wanted to say I am so sorry for what happened at your school. That's just too close, I can only just imagine.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Yes, FT. Which reminds me...can I send you money via PayPal, and have you send me some syrup? Or maple candy? OOOOHH, maple candy.

Angie said...

<<--banned herself for Kristin

Hey, when all this gets funny, you know, when we have the Bannies and all, we need a banning tree, where you can see on one graph all the banning connections.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I just channeled James Woods on Family Guy.

"Ooh, a piece of candy! Ooh, a piece of candy!"

twirldawg said...

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Lisa said...

BD, around 250 to Miami and roughly 30 less to Ft. Lauderdale. Why, what's up? You planning a vacation?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I'm going on a 5 day cruise that departs on NYE. We leave out of (I think Ft. Lauderdale) but I was thinking of adding on a day or two (hell, if I'm already without husband and kids, why not). I wanted to see how close you were to see if we could meet for a drink or something. But this is a while away. We can talk about it later.

Lisa said...

"Hey, when all this gets funny, you know, when we have the Bannies and all, we need a banning tree, where you can see on one graph all the banning connections."

Lol, that's wrong. Just wrong.

Lisa said...

Sounds good, BD! Let me know and we'll see if we can figure out how to meet halfway or something. :-)

Angie said...

"Lol, that's wrong. Just wrong."

And yet, I've already started working on it. ::nods::

Jennifer-Lynn said...

AP, I would truly love that. When the date gets closer and I arrange my flights, I will let you know.

Anonymous said...

SW, you need to be working on your cartwheels.

Angie said...

LOL Christy. Good one! But there's no hope for my cartwheels!

What I really need to be working on is the final housekeeper prep. Less than two hours til bedtime and I've still got a lot to do. Ugh.

Anonymous said...

AP, i just watched the video here on today's post.

Now, THAT is some lady jerky!

PJ said...

SW - I hope you're just picking up in advance of the cleaning lady, and not cleaning.

Angie said...

What Bella said. I mean, she REALLY asked for grocery money. WTF?

Angie said...

Definitely not cleaning CK. Trying to decide whether to pick up the toothpicks my precious kitties strewed all over the dining room. What do you think?

PJ said...

I'd let her sweep them up - I mean she has to sweep the floor anyway, right? Why not help her feel really productive?

PJ said...

Oh, if carpet, they would clog the vacuum cleaner. Then you probably need to do it so you don't end up having to buy a new vacuum.

Angie said...

Um, because cleaning up the cat vomit is going to keep her productivity meter pegged already?

PJ said...

Ahhh - good point.

Angie said...

Lois fans are in for a treat tonight on BL! :-X

PJ said...

Brothers and Sisters, SW!

kristin said...

FT - glad your headache went away. i wish mine would too.

AP - how is your headache?

Angie said...

CK, I'm going to watch that in bed. Which is where I'm heading now, after I finish picking up and sweeping up toothpicks. Night all!

kristin said...

Goodnight SW!

Lisa said...

"Um, because cleaning up the cat vomit is going to keep her productivity meter pegged already?"

Please, please tell me you don't just leave it there. Because that's enough to make me rethink this marriage idea.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

The Yoplait Boston Cream Pie Yogurt I ate is not a suitable substitute for the pistachio ice cream, with whipped cream, that I am craving right now.

Nilia said...

BD: email.

We say that here, right?

Nilia said...

A banning tree, YES, that would simplify a bunch of stuff for me. I confuse easily. Seriously, like a family tree, right?

Nilia said...

BD: That episode was so funny. It was one I let my kids watch (gotta be very careful with Family Guy!). Just today, my youngest did the ``oooh, piece of candy`` schtick during lunch. I try not to allow him to do that in public or I have to explain our rules on Family Guy which are pretty strict actually, much to my children`s despair.

kristin said...

FT :)

kristin said...

goodnight ladies.

3:00 wake up calls are NOT my thing, so I am gonna go crawl in bed.

Hope everyone has a good evening!

Nilia said...

Goodnight, Kristin and SW.

Hope you wake up headache-free, Kristin!

Erin said...

SW- :X Holy crap. Only 2 more episodes. BD- please notice my B.L self control!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I'm very proud of you, EL. I actually think it recorded; I'll go watch it right now.

Lisa said...

G'night, Kristin.
BD, absolutely...I'd genuinely love that.
And if SW comes up with an actually banning tree, I'm going to embarrass myself.

I just got the bejeezus scared out of me a bit agp. I forgot the shuttle was coming in and got hit with 2 sonic booms that sounded like they came from 3 feet away. My heart is still beating. No point to this...just sharing. :-)

Erin said...

AP- as I read your last comment my newscast is running a story on the Shuttle landing!

Lisa said...

EL, I guess it's sort of cool but those sonic booms suck. As a crow flies, I'm 3-4 miles away from where it lands, if that, so that shit happens right over my house.

Nilia said...

::passing some Depends to AP::

PJ said...

Popping in quick - just wondering - has anyone heard from RinM?

PJ said...

Okay, I know AP's off changing her underwear.

Anyone else?

PJ said...

Night. Dog is happy - he gets to sleep with us tonight.

Nilia said...

Goodnight CK. Goodnight Rusty.

Lisa said...

"Popping in quick - just wondering - has anyone heard from RinM?"

Oh, God.

I was supposed to tell y'all and forgot...she's had a big case she's working on and has to meet a deadline (that she let creep up). She'll be back as she can but it may be a couple of days more. She's fine, just working. I'm so sorry I forgot to pass that on!

Nilia said...

Reminds me of once my youngest wanted me to call him by his dog name, Scruffy I think it was. I had trouble remembering then too and kept calling him Crusty. He was not amused.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I'm off to bed. Nighty night!

Karen said...

Hi everyone - evening! 2 more minutes left to my birthday - wanna celebrate with me? anyone wanna buy me a drink? ha!

Nilia said...

Happy Birthday, Karen! Sweet sixteen again?

Sure, Ill buy this round, what are you having?

Karen said...

FT sweet! I'll take a malibu and coke, haven't had that for a long time - yummy and tropical!

Yea, I wish I was 16 again!!

My mom made me a cake today - brought it to my sons house... it was a Better than Sex cake!!

My mom is 71 and newly single - ahhaha I loved it!

Karen said...

I have an interview tomorrow!!!!

Nilia said...

Ooooh, good luck Karen!

Karen said...

Thank you FT - its only 3.9 miles from my house and its with a good company and they have excellent benefits, I hope I get it!

Nilia said...

Do you have your interview outfit all ready?

Karen said...

YEP! I'm gonna be rushing so much tomorrow - I had already promised to take my daughter and Riley to her pediatrician at 11 - and the appointment is at 2:30 - so my daughter is coming back here with me, I'll get ready for the interview and go - and then we have a bday party for my neice's 2 kids at 6 tomorrow night! I just hope the pediatrician is fast! if not - i'm going to be short on time... although I can get ready pretty fast... but I still want to get there a few minutes early! It will all work out I'm sure. I hate interview's though - When I moved to NY I got the first job that I interviewed for, and I had a BAD cold at the time, he was asking me questions, really nice guy - my former boss - and I coughed and spit the cough drop across the desk, hit him in the tie and it bounced onto his desk!! hahaha - he picked it up and handed it back to me and said my desk is clean if you want to put it back in your mouth!!! Ohhhhh I was so embarrassed! But I got the job anyway - and after working for him for almost 10 years and knowing his cleanliness habits, I'm SOOO not as embarrassed!! This is the man that would get a pc. of fried chicken, walk in the bathroom to pee, and bring the chicken in there with him. He would also bring a half of a watermelon to work and put on his desk, and if you came in while he was eating it, he would reach in with his (nasty dirty gross) fingers and break off a chunk and offer it to you. Ya.. he was nasty!! Sweet man, but nasty!!!!

I won't be eating a cough drop tomorrow!!!
