AP the lawyer says it would not be wrong to drug them. Make sure you are stocked up in adult beverages and you should be good.

Hi Tee, how's it going?

Tee said...

Hey Christy, it's going okay! How are you doing? Is your day going well?

Anonymous said...

CK, I feel the same as BD. She doesn't really bother me. I am glad there are sites like MWOP though so that people can find out that she's not truthful in everything she says.

Did you have a good day?

kristin said...

Hey Christy!

Hey Tee!

How are things?

I am going to go try to get LM to do his breathing treatment! Should be fun!

I'll bbl!

Anonymous said...

Yes...just got the little guy down for the night, so now I can relax a bit :)

Anonymous said...

Good luck Kristin.

kristin said...

Oh, and I am over JM too. I don't hate her either. I do find it amusing when she tweets pics of condoms that are free at the clinic. Maybe it's a sign?

Tee said...

Oh, good luck, Kristin! I hope he sits still for you!

Tee said...

I have not been able to catch up. Are we talking about something specific that I need to go back and read?

Anonymous said...

Tee, we are talking about JM...there is a new news story in MN and CK was filling us in.

Anonymous said...

How was Mardi Gras? Didi the girls enjoy it?

Anonymous said...

Did you happen to see the post AP made about you at Mardi Gras?

Tee said...

Christy- I did see the picture and I loved it! AP is probably the only person that could get away with something like that!

Mardi Gras was wonderful, thank you! The big girls had a great time. I thought the noise would bother Baby V but it didn't seem to. She was really laid back the whole day. I'm putting together a blog post with some pictures for ya'll to see. It was a really fun day and I'm so glad I was able to go!

Anonymous said...

That's cool Tee. Yes AP is able to get away with a lot :)

Tee said...

Christy- I had gotten a few e-mails letting me know that I needed to come and check out that picture. I did and I laughed so hard that I had tears rolling down my face! I'm sorry I have not been around much!

Tee said...

Okay, I'm off to watch a little bit of the woman's figure skating. I'll be around later!

Nilia said...

Still catching up, but...

BD: that happened to me too last week when I tried to close Daisy and then new Daisy screens kept popping up. I ran a program to check and it found nothing. Hasn't happened since but that was the first time.

PJ said...

BD & Christy - I'm glad you're in an indifferent place with JM. Wish I could stay there. I seem to have trouble with that when I read local stuff.

BD, I should have applied our pinky swear pact we had a few months ago about the local Fox coverage to the Kare 11 coverage too.

Anonymous said...

CK, I'm sure it's harder when it's in your face on the local news. If I don't read her blog, I don't have to hear about it.

PJ said...

Christy - yes - and it embarrasses me. I like to think of Minnesotans as mostly educated, practical, fair and able to see through bullshit. I guess I'm disappointed in news organizations who continue to fall for her brand of crap.

She is just SO not news - anything in her so-called life that could be newsworthy is fiction.

Anonymous said...

I agree it shouldn't be making the news anymore. Hopefully you can get to a place that it either amuses you or you are able to turn the station without it bothering you too much.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

You mean you DON'T think it's a good idea to market themselves as Minnesota's Own Duggars?

I can't believe that.

kristin said...

OMG is anyone watching the Bachelor? Rosslyn is CRAZY!

kristin said...

and CK - if I was forced to watch JM on different news channels, I think I would be writing to said news channel to express my disappointment.

PJ said...

BD,
uh, no....

My niece's MIL and FIL are going for the record in Minnesota, though. I think there's about 12 or 13 kids in that family.

Hi everyone :) Happy Birthday, dear Karen!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Anthony Bourdain has a guest spot on Yo Gabba Gabba. The world is ending.

kristin said...

OMG! I thought it was bad when Jack Black was on there - I just want to ask Jack about the outfit he had to wear - it was NOT flattering.

I am cracking up laughing!

Anonymous said...

Kristin, Anthony Bourdain is one of my favs on the Travel Channel. I can't believe it. He's "Doctor Tony", lol!

twirldawg said...

Bella I'm amused that you are watching Yo Gabba Gabba

Anonymous said...

Jill, I'm not...it was a link on Reddit, lol!

My eyes burned out. How do kids watch these programs?

kristin said...

I make myself scarce when Yo Gabba is on, it is torture.

twirldawg said...

I don't hate the show.

Kids are so hopped up on high fructose corn syrup that watching Yo Gabba Gabba is like kid version of tripping.

PJ said...

What is Yo Gabba? asks the mom of two 20-somethings.

kristin said...

you don't want to know - it is pure torture!

http://yogabbagabba.com/

I don't know how any adult could be a part of that without being seriously screwed up.

Anonymous said...

Evening ladies.

I refuse to put Yo Gabba Gabba on here. I don't think my son has ever seen it and I hope he never does.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I will admit that I sort of love Yo Gabba Gabba, because it's so damn trippy.

Plus, whenever I hear "there's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy!" I think of Sue.

CK, I'll try and find something on YouTube.

Anonymous said...

Yo Gabba is like the Wiggles on crack. lol

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I was about to say that it's like Sesame Street on acid. :)

PJ said...

Sandy - okay..... what are the Wiggles?

Anonymous said...

I think AP needs to post a Yo Gabba Gabba clip at the next post.

PJ said...

I like Sesame Street. Lots of wonderful memories sitting with my son laughing at The Count.

There was enough humor for me to even enjoy.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Here's the Party in My Tummy that Sue and I have referenced:

Jennifer-Lynn said...

The Wiggles are a children's band from Australia. They are, like, The Beatles for the human quadripeds.

Anonymous said...

We don't do the Wiggles either! lol

kristin said...

I do like the wiggles!

Alright ladies, I am going to bed. LM was up way to early and even though he went back to bed, I didn't :(

Sandy - I was wondering where you disappeared to. I left 2 comments on your blog! I hope all is well.

Goodnight ladies, sorry I can't stay up and chat. I have to get my rest so I can wrangle LM into a breathing treatment in the morning :(

Goodnight!

Anonymous said...

Thank you for thinking of me, Kristin and goodnight!

kristin said...

goodnight, also wondering where Kathleen disappeared to?

Alright, need to remove myself from the couch!

Night all!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I love the Wiggles; actually, I like most things on Nick Jr. (although the Wiggles are on Sprout, which we don't get). I hate Little Bear, though, and Calliou (PBS). I'd like to kick them both in the nuts.

kristin said...

interested in why you hate Little Bear BD!

There are a few that I don't like.

but seriously...going to bed.

Can you stop talking long enough for me to get up please?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Sorry, Kristin.

Because he's a mouthy little braggart, and his parents never set him straight.

I know. I'm a sicko.

Anonymous said...

I know *very little about children's programming...but I have to know: why is a four year old Canadian boy FULLY BALD?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Couldn't answer that, Bella. I know "Calliou" means "bald" in French.

I hate that fucking cartoon.

Anonymous said...

Calliou...don't get me started.

Anonymous said...

Hey Sandy, are you digging out from the slush fest?

Anonymous said...

OMG...friggin plow put four feet of that crap at the end of the driveway. I did the Dukes of Hazard in my minivan this morning to get the kids to school.

Anonymous said...

LOL Sandy. I felt like I was in a giant Slurpee when I left for work.

Anonymous said...

My little guy loves to shovel the patio for the dog. He went out there by himself, came back 2 minutes later and said mom that stuff is too heavy. I'm gonna let daddy shovel. Smart kid! lol

Anonymous said...

"Heart Attack Snow", Sandy.

Anonymous said...

If you think about it, it's the heaviest that we've gotten this winter. Hopefully it will melt soon.

Anonymous said...

Hopefully, it will be WARM soon. That's all I want.

""when Obama started telling credit card companies what they can and can not do"

Uh oh, I sense an argument brewing . . ."

Not at all...there's nothing to even argue about, I don't think. Anytime the government, and I don't care who the President is how how Congress is leaning, tells businesses they can't do XYZ anymore and gives them a date in the future that XYZ must stop, you know they're going to be doing XYZ in overdrive, just as hard as they can, to the full extent they can, taking full advantage of that time frame.

Lisa said...

Hi, Tee!

Bella, I can't stand children's programming. I know, that's pretty shitty to say since I'm a mom but there it is. I'm not sure I can make my fingers add a Yo Gabba Gabba clip. ;-)

Lisa said...

I see Sandy - hi!

We're missing some others, too...I hope everyone is okay out there.

Hey, Jill? I meant to ask you, are you unpacked and settled in?

Lindsay said...

Hi! *crawling back into the fray*

Happy Birthday Karen - and I sure hope your job interview went well today.

Heather said...

hey everyone! hope y'all are doing well.

karen, i hope you've had a great birthday!

i'm so far behind, again...i swear i have some sort of internet time warp. i spent a couple days reading mostly at MWOP and under1000braincells. that left little time to read anywhere else. my google reader had almost 700 unread blog posts! yikes. i've widdled it down to about half, but some i just had to skip. i haven't been to facebook or SIPs (but i think most everyone has moved here? =/).

saw the mention of the problem with a gazillion screens opening up. i have that happen every once in awhile. i can't pinpoint what sites it happens on, but i think it may be blogs. i can't stop it or shut my computer down properly. weird.

as for mckmama, ya know i guess i'm kind of over it all. she's who she is and it doesn't look like that's going to change. i cringe to think that she may have to have a "crisis" now and then to keep people hooked. but, i decided after OHIH that some of the things i posted weren't true to who i am, and i decided to not be that way anymore. in reading MWOP i have to make sure that i don't fall back into my old ways. it's so easy to get sucked into spouting off when you really disagree with someone, kwim? it's an ongoing battle. i probably shouldn't even read it, but i'm nosy. LOL

so that's that.

Hello to anyone still on tonight :) been a crazy kinda day that's for sure....doing things that OTHER people in this freaking house said they were going to do WEEKS ago.

Oh well I said F them all and went and got Chinese, that I have been craving for MONTHS, for MY dinner tonight :)

Karen said...

Still catching up - seems like i'm over an hour late to the party!

THe interview went well! I think as long as I pass the background check, drug test, aptitude test that they are supposed to email me tomorrow, and I have to go to a place called Logitech Integrity testing... and pass THAT! and then I should start next week... I think!! At least thats the way it sounds! I will know for sure before the end of this week.

Funny story - I went to the drug place and did my pee test before I even went home, just to get it out of the way and it was close to the company I interviewed with. The lady was annoying as hell, hated her job, and had a monotone voice, and was rude. So she gave me all these fast, curt, annoying instructions, and I was trying to follow all she was saying, took my cup, went in the bathroom, peed and washed my hands, and came out, she was standing right there, and said you flushed and ran water,I told you NOT to! I said OMG I can't believe I did that.... she said "neither can I" and took my cup-o-pee - said that I will probably be called to come and re-take my test, cause that one will come back bad, because in big letters, on the sheet that has to accompany the test, she wrote PT FLUSHED! AND RAN WATER

Freaking witch!! ahaha I seriously don't remember her telling me not to do that - but its habit, you pee, you flush, you wash! She made me follow her to the room tha she put the labels on the pee and she said uh, I would offer you the hand sanitizer, but uh, you already washed your hands!! Yea, well I used it anyway, all those people using that bathroom and NOT washing their hands, the door handle has to be disgusting, right?

So Wed. at 1 I go for my integrity interview.... Uh, ya, that should be alot of fun!! hahaha

So - that was my day, other than spending time with my ex's family - his neice's and another sister in law that was his side of the family - they all like me better than him, and got me in the divorce!! My oldest neice is a paraplegic (sp?) from a car accident she was in 2 years ago... its so good to see her!!

So anyone still here or am I all alone now?

PS - Thank you so much everyone for your birthday wishes - very sweet!!!

This group of women are the best!!! really!!!

Lisa said...

I'm still up but going to bed in a bit.

Hi, Lindsay! (fray, what fray??)

Hi, Heather and I agree with you and BD about JM. I just don't care now. I hit MWoP every few days but mostly skim because it's just the same old thing. JM's is still suburban-ghetto-fabulous and when her blog dries up and dies (as they all do and as this one will, too), she's going to be in a world of hurt. I? Won't care then either, except for the drain on society she will be and the bill I'll have to help foot again.

Don't make me talk about welfare program, even if I started it. ;-)

Karen, I'm so glad you did well today. If flushing and washing automatically is the worst you did, you're an ideal employee and I really hope you get the job! Did you do anything special for your birthday?

And with that, I'm outta here. Busy day tomorrow so you might not see much of me. A few lurking might like that a lot. G'night!
