SW - I have similar dreams. Imagine my horror almost falling into the hole...in heels for god's sake. I bet AP has those nightmares, too.

Lovin' the potty humor!

Nilia said...

re-post

Kay: oh I think I see now, the water sprayed straight up like out of the bowl (through the arm)? Oh my gosh, what else could you do but return to your table, LOL!

Nilia said...

Bella's being sassy again.

Angie said...

My worst nightmare, Kay.

Todrick Hall tore up Queen! Loved it!

Jeanette said...

Bella? Sassy? Nah!

KaytieJ said...

Bella - You are so funny!

FT - You got it. Mopped up the best I could, returned to table, and proceeded to get drunk.

Lindsay said...

Ummm. I'm back. When hubby said he'd take me to dinner, I didn't realize he meant Costco. Oh well, I wasn't cooking :)

And this is why I don't travel. Toilets.

KaytieJ said...

Arrggh! DH and son are hogging TV and I missing Idol :-( I think we scared AP away with all this toilet talk.

Angie said...

Remember on Seinfeld when the gang flew to India for a wedding, and George vowed he wasn't going to go #2 for the entire trip, because of the toilets?

KaytieJ said...

Pizza or hot dogs Lindsay. I am secret admirer of their hot dogs.

KaytieJ said...

SW - George was a smart man.

Nilia said...

Lindsay: hey, out is out. At least no dishes, right?

Anonymous said...

Hittin' the hay.

Goodnight! Try to behave, but not too much!

KaytieJ said...

Nite Bella! Thank you for the laughs.

PJ said...

When I went through Paris on my way to the Soviet Union during high school, one of the college aged counselors sent me into the "bathroom" at a little French bar.

It was a hole in the floor. Exactly like the picture JM posted from Kenya.

I came right back out, and the look on my face made everyone in our group lose it. Hadn't been prepared for that.

Then I "misused" the bidet in the French hotel. I didn't realize the WC was down the hall, and what each of them were to be used for.

PJ said...

Nite Bella!

Angie said...

I'm still on the JM wagon, so didn't see her hole in the floor pic, but I'm sooo happy that she had to squat over one! I was hoping she would have to.

Muliebrity said...

Really need to get packed. Why am I such a procrastinator?

KaytieJ said...

CK - It is definitely a culture shock.

KaytieJ said...

SW - From my very limited exposure to JM, those hole in the ground toilets were for the natives. *They are staying in a "modest hotel"....no way is she using the hole in ground toilet. That was just a photo op of conditions.

Lisa said...

Damn, y'all are chatty!

"Okay, I'll quit pimping blog on AP's site now, and go back to conspiracy theories."

Jeanette, it's not mine, it's all of yours. All I do is start new posts. Pimp away! And yes, I used to to web design years and years ago. Loved making graphics, especially.

Mr. Shannon, I'm unimpressed with things such as yours. :-P

Whatever asked me, yes I checked the sitemeter but it could have been any one of a number of people who posted it, many with hidden asses.

Let's see...oh, Bella? The poops have to be separate comments or it doesn't matter. ;-)

Angie said...

Thanks for killing my dream, Kay! ;-)

KaytieJ said...

Mulie - I thought you were leaving next week? If you are, I would say you are ahead of schedule and proud of ya!

Lisa said...

Oh, yeah. I don't do public toilets. I would rather have a burst bladder and perforated bowel, thankyouverymuch!

PJ said...

Kaytie - I didn't have the first idea of how to use it. I crossed my legs until we got to the hotel later in the day. Oh, how I miss the strength of the bladder of a 15 year old.

Angie said...

I hate public toilets with a white hot passion. It's just not cool to have to do that stuff with people sitting inches from you. Not cool.

PJ said...

AP,
I wish Wendy had remembered that SIP was the members blog, and not hers.

But I'm glad so many of us are here.

PJ said...

No problem here using public toilets. I'd probably even be willing to try a hole in the floor now, with the bladder of a menopausal 50 year old.

Angie said...

"But I'm glad so many of us are here." Me too, CK. And I still wish the rest of them would join us. Wendy too.

KaytieJ said...

SW - Nah, it is still alive. If you are going over to sponsor a child, visit their homes, *inspire them to Christianity, the least you could do is use their toilets. Still a slam.

Tara. said...

Lindsay: You could have at any point emailed me if you were this upset with me for something. Your time line is off. I didn't "block" you from my blog. It's private now, nobody has access. It's just for me now, kind of like an online diary. I'm not leaving because of you. I decided that it was a mistake to come here after I was told about your rant, which thankfully I didn't read first hand. I knew you, Jeanette and Shana wouldn't be happy to see me, and the feeling would have been mutual. However, I was hoping we could all be adults and just avoid each other and spare the group of petty drama of the past. I guess I was wrong.
So my silence isn't so much about speaking to whatever view you have of me and my honesty as it is about me trying to be the bigger person and move on. The last time I heard from you was the day Kristin was banned from SIP and you emailed me looking for information after not speaking to me for probably 2 months before that. I didn't give you any when I replied and I never heard from you again. So please don't point your finger at me and accuse me of playing games.

Jeanette: That's OK if you back Lindsay. Y'all are friends and I understand that. Whatever happened between us is just that, between us. I know we disagree and you're upset with me and for that I am sorry. I've said I was sorry long before today, too. It hurts a little that just last week you contacted me via IM asking me for information and a favor and now you're on here backing your friend that ripped me apart. I don't like feeling used, nobody does.

If there's anything else that either of you or anyone else wants/needs to say to me, I'd just ask that you please email me.

AP, I'm sorry this happened here. I should have thought longer before I posted. I knew it was a bad decision and I'm sorry for causing an issue. Thank you for the warm welcome and asking me to stay. I just don't want to be a source of tension. As I've talked with you before, I just wish things were different, I wish we were all still one group.

Lisa said...

""But I'm glad so many of us are here." Me too, CK. And I still wish the rest of them would join us. Wendy too."

Echoing you both. Granted, it would make for a couple of rough and ugly days but in the end, it would settle into some comfortable for most.

Angie said...

I'll bet the sum total of the people who JM has inspired to Christianity would fit in my bidet.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

SW:

People like JM make me *not want to tell people I'm a Catholic (though not nearly as observant as Mr. BD).

Tara, Lindsay, Jeanette: I have no idea what's going on, but I'm sorry that there are hurt feelings.

PJ said...

To bed I am going. Night all. Have a *day tomorrow.

KaytieJ said...

Nite CK! Enjoyed taking with you and again, wishing you the best with the promotion/tenure.

Angie said...

Night CK!

I'm sorry re hurt feelings too, and I wish everybody would stay. We've all got our big girl panties on and can take a little tension. Not everybody loves everybody, and that's okay

Lisa said...

"AP, I'm sorry this happened here. I should have thought longer before I posted. I knew it was a bad decision and I'm sorry for causing an issue. Thank you for the warm welcome and asking me to stay. I just don't want to be a source of tension."

Tara, you won't be a source of tension on Daisy. We'll just sit nosily by and watch. ;-) As far as I'm concerned, I felt no tension today. Y'all are grownups and can hash it out or just agree to not speak to each other without the rest of us being affected. You do what feels most comfortable to you, though, and just know the door is always open, okay?

Lisa said...

"I'll bet the sum total of the people who JM has inspired to Christianity would fit in my bidet."

You don't even have a bi...oooh, right. Gotcha.

KaytieJ said...

SW - I think you are right.
Bella - I know what you mean, but...Hold your head up high. People like JM "want" to make everyone feel ashamed. AND..THANK YOU for your recipe! DH and son loved it, too!

KaytieJ said...

Ooops - I meant BellaDonna!

Angie said...

I'm a bleeding heart liberal, and I'd rather sit at a banquet with a table full of conservatives than a table full of liberals. Why? Because sitting around agreeing can be boring. Talking to people you don't agree with is interesting and stimulating.

But I wouldn't eat with Sarah Palin or Karl Rove. Or Dick Cheney. I've got *some standards.

Muliebrity said...

I am leaving for my parents house tomorrow and Atlanta on Sunday.

Kay, welcome to the I-wrote-Bella-when-I-Meant-BD Club! I'm the secretary/treasurer.

Jeanette said...

AP, I was kidding about the "AP's site" I know you consider this everyone's blog, and I think that's awesome of you. And I might email you in a few days about the whole web design thing.

Tara, our problems are between us, that is very true. And that is why I didn't post them here. I was prepared to fully ignore you. Lindsay hardly "ripped you apart." She didn't call you any names that I'm aware of or say anything untrue. You DID block us from your blog before you went private with it. I know this because the day you unfollowed me, I headed to your blog to see if you had removed me from your followers and when I clicked the follow button, it told me I was blocked from following. Which, whatev.. no biggie. Just wanted to clear up that that is what Lindsay was referring to.

And I don't remember you ever telling me you were sorry, but once again, whatev. I don't need an apology from you. I emailed you and let you know how I felt, you didn't ever respond. To me, that was enough closure. I did contact you on IM because I was trying to verify something pertaining to Lyrics. You never got back to me on that btw, so I would hardly say you were used.

Now, I'm ready to go back to acting as if you don't exist, and I think it would be just f'n dandy if you would return the favor.

kristin said...

33 messages I have to read - goodness sakes!

No worries BD. My feelings aren't hurt. I was a little pissed off there for a day or two, but I'm over it.

Ditto. Ditto everything.

Also, ditto.

ROFL BD! Nice!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

If anyone wants to confuse me with a 6', tattoo-loving, beer drinking, tough Chicago girl like Bella...hell, go right ahead. :)

Angie said...

Is Bella really six feet tall? That's completely awesome.

kristin said...

LMAO BD!

Okay, so speaking of toilets, mine are now clean. After changing the laundry, LM woke up crying - so I think I am going to forgo the playroom and just clean the kitchen and get rid of excess from the living room.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

From what I understand, Bella is indeed six feet tall. I am only 5'9. Sadly. I wish I was taller. I like being tall.

Angie said...

You are such a good housekeeper, Kristin. It's way past my bedtime, so I'm out. Ya'll sleep tight!

Angie said...

<<-- 5' - 9 and 5/8 inches. Tall is good.

KaytieJ said...

Phew! I was feeling like a dork SW, but I am sure it won't be the first time as I get names mixed up in real life too ;-/

Mulie - well you are still not a procrastinator in my book, if that means anything.

SW - APPLAUSE! Daisy is a RELIEF...to be able to express oneself and share ideas/view points.

I don't think I could eat with Rumsfield.

Jeanette said...

I'm just shy of 5'8 and it really pisses me off. I was extremely short until about 10th grade and was always made fun of for it. I loved showing up to school one year and suddenly being a bit taller than some of the boys! I always wanted to make it to 5'8 though.

kristin said...

Night SW!

Bella - you are tall compared to my measly 5'2"

Angie said...

I feel that way about 5' 10" Jeanette. I read somewhere you could be in a Tall Club if you were a woman who was 5' 10". Don't ask me why I thought a Tall Club sounded cool.

kristin said...

You all suck!

Shannon said...

I will keep my 5'6 LOL if I were taller then I would be taller then my husband and I would feel weird :)

Shannon said...

Kristin if it makes you feel better my MIL is only about 4'10 if she is lucky

KaytieJ said...

Bella Donna - Sorry for the goof. I still thank you very much for that delicious Indian Butter Chicken recipe. We all loved it.

I'm 5' 8" I shrunk.

Jeanette said...

Ha! The things we aspire for when we are young.

Also funny, although completely opposite. When I was little, I overheard my grandpa trying to talk my brother into eating onion. He told him it would "put hair on his chest." Well, that did it for me. To this day, I don't eat onion. I remember thinking.. Whaaaa? I'm a girl, I don't want hair on my chest!

Nilia said...

I'm 5'2" also. Always wished I was taller too...

My mother's 4'10" so I guess I didn't do too badly.

Lisa said...

5'9" here...sorry, Kristin. I, too, have Bella-height envy and love wearing heels to be taller!

kristin said...

I hate heels - even though I am short.

I used to be able to say that I was the 2nd tallest in the family - but then my youngest sister grew up.

My dive buddy in college was/is 4'10".

Nilia said...

Now you 5'9"ers are just being greedy...

KaytieJ said...

Jeanette - I grew up with my dad, uncles, grandparents saying so many things would put hair on one's chest. Freaked me out no end! One of the things I REFUSE to say to my son.

Shannon said...

My cousin was 6'2 1/2" tall and LOVED to wear heels. That girl knew how to love what she had :)

Jeanette said...

I used to work with a girl that I believe was 6'4, might have been up or down one inch. She was really pretty and just awesome to work with. Her little husband though. Ha. He was like 5'10 tops. It would just crack me up to see them stand next to each other. I think it takes a confident man to marry someone that much taller than him.

Lisa said...

Jeanette, I know so little about web site stuff now that I doubt I'd be able to help you. I still play around with making graphics from time to time but that's about it.

Shannon said...

OH definitely. My cousin had a heck of a time finding guys her height. She never cared she just stood tall in her heels and loved it :)

Shana said...

"I knew you, Jeanette and Shana wouldn't be happy to see me, and the feeling would have been mutual."

WTF dude...I haven't even been on the freaking internet & you feel the need to bring my name into shit. KICK ROCKS! I emailed you Tara & told you what I had to say & haven't mentioned you since. Leave my name out of your drama. Thanks.

Hope everyone is well, hello to all. Have my own IRL issues at the moment & will be going back to them now.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

KaytieJ: No problem about the name, and I'm so glad you loved the Butter Chicken! I love it myself and may now have to make it this week.

KaytieJ said...

AP - Talking graphics and PSP stuff...I went to ButterflyGothics website and her tutorials are exquisite! Thank you BttlyGothic!

Nilia said...

Well what do you know, I found an email re: my first Secret Santa. The Chris I sent a gift to lives in NC. I don't want to provide more info than this because I don't know what her story is. Is this the same Chris on SIP now?

Jeanette said...

Oh AP I don't want you to make anything for me, nothing like that! I just wanted some feedback on your education. I have played around with blog designs and such, and like doing it. I'm trying to decide on a major and along with about 3 other things, web design is on my list of careers I could see myself doing. Soo, I just wanted info on what kind of degree I should pursue.

Muliebrity said...

Is it a full moon? Because the crazies are out today!

KaytieJ said...

BD: I stocked up on chicken breasts and thighs, garlic, ginger and marsala...so will definitely be making it again :-D

KaytieJ said...

Mulie: What's up? I hate working full moon nights, because ER is flooded with crazies. You OK?

KaytieJ said...

FT - You just got the e-mail? If so, that is really weird. Oh, and I have no idea who it might be.

Shannon said...

Kay it has just been a crazy drama day today to say the least.

KaytieJ said...

Shannon: :::dunce cap::: I get it now.

Lisa said...

Kaytie, I've got to go see her stuff, thanks!

Jeanette, I know you weren't wanting me to make you anything! I'm just not sure I could be of any help at all. I was purely self-taught...taught myself html while stuck at a desk 18 hours or more a day and just sort of went from there. It was all such a new thing, businesses having websites, that I'd make them for other little local businesses like ours. I've not done anything like that in probably 10 years, but for tweaking blog layouts and making some graphics for them.

Jeanette said...

AP, your crush has a new post up. Hehe.

Does anyone here play Bejeweled on Facebook? I'm totally addicted and need more friends to compete with.

Lisa said...

I've not had an occasion to do this since Daisy started so stand back, everyone -

Kaytie? Check your mail!!

Nilia said...

Kay, no no I didn't just get the email, I didn't save any of those emails in my inbox but they are in my sent folder.

Every single email, dealing with all the Secret Santa stuff and other correspondence is in my sent folder which I guess I haven't purged in a few months. So when I reply to you, the email gets filed there and any previous emails attached to it. Don't know if I'm explaining this properly.

I have the complete address as sent to me when my first Secret Santa was assigned. And when it was assigned again.

To be fair, I offered to do the second Secret Santa because I didn't want someone left out. Just was never really clear on why Chris couldn't participate. And why she didn't just return the package. I don't need the contents, and didn't want them back but I just thought that was curious. I just thought it was weird,is all.

That is just....scary.

Jeanette said...

Oh ok AP, thanks for explaining. I'm just trying to talk to different people that actually DO the things I am interested in doing, lol. I guess I should really just go talk to an advisor.

Lisa said...

Jeanette, I can help you if you want to get into insurance. ;-)

KaytieJ said...

AP - I shall...having so much fun here, need to log on.

FT - got it! My e-mail is the same since I do not clear my sent files. I thought it was a new mail and that would be so strange after todays talk.

OK-AP-going now. Hope your pink pouffy wand did not succumb to Viagra :-D

Jeanette said...

Well AP, if the money is right, I'd be willing to consider it!

The thing is, I'm not looking for any kind of career that "fulfills" me. My kids are my career and THEY fulfill me. But, kids need clothes and electricity and those cost money. So I need to find a job that won't drive me crazy or bore me to tears, and that will make me enough to comfortably support 2 girls and give them everything they need and some of what they want. And if there is some left for momma to get something she wants every now and then, that would be good too!

kristin said...

Hey Shana! Sending you good vibes! I know you are busy but I sent you an e-mail a few (couple) days ago.

Hope all is well!

Well ladies - toilets are clean, kitchen is scrubbed, living room is *picked up (wish it was better) and laundry is going. I need to go to bed b/c 6 am will come too fast.

Night ladies! It has definitely been an interesting day/evening.

kristin said...

Oh - and I just busted my foot trying to get to the back door to let the dog in b/c she was barking.

MOTHER F'ER! I don't think a toe is broken but it hurts :(

Muliebrity said...

wow! I can't believe that psycho brought her momma in to defend her honor. Crazy must run in that family!

KaytieJ said...

Kristin - get ice on it, elevate it, take ibuprofen (unless allergic to it). Not a doc here, but that will help with the swelling and pain. Get to a doc if it is crunchy or swelling more. I am so sorry.

kristin said...

No worries Shana - I understand - you are busy - just know that I am thinking of you.

Thanks Kaytie!

alright, signing off!

Nilia said...

Goodnight, Kristin!

I'm calling it a night also, goodnight everyone.

Lisa said...

Jeanette, there's *very good money in insurance for very little schooling. I used this place so see if you have something similar. http://www.centralinsuranceschool.com/
I was already working for an insurance company so my agent reimbursed the cost once I was licensed. I studied hard for maybe 2 weeks, took a 2-day, intense testing deal and walked out ready for my 2-20 license but for fingerprinting. The cost was about $600 total, but that was in 2001. This enabled me to sell general lines, meaning auto, boat, motorcycle, home and renter's policies. The money was darn good for this area...a base salary plus commissions and bonuses. You do have to be willing to do a little selling but those policies don't require a hard sell like life and health. From there you can get more licensing and go further but it might be something to consider. I made more starting out than cops and teachers starting out did. Hell, I made more than some engineers at NASA did. It might be worth you looking into.

KaytieJ said...

Nite FT - Always good talking with you!

Muliebrity said...

My hubby just wrote me a very sweet and nice response to my hormonal rant. I feel better. Maybe he does get it more than I have been giving him credit for.

Nilia said...

Goodnight Kay, likewise! Signing off now...

KaytieJ said...

Oh Mulie - that is wonderful news!

Muliebrity said...

"You are too down to earth, and I need to be in the clouds to stay sane, even if its only for a small percentage of my lifetime."

He said this explaining why he needs the onliine friends he's kept. This actually makes sense.

KaytieJ said...

AP - I remember you were doing that training and licensing during a very rough patch. Still proud of you!

Lisa said...

Kaytie, thank you! You will never know what a security blanket you were for me during that time. It's one of many, many reasons I love you. Now, let's shake hands and forget I ever said that, shall we?

Mulie, I'm glad he's talking and being decent to you. You deserve that and more. But, this is still not a healthy place for a husband and father to be in. You know this, right?

Jeanette said...

Thanks for the info AP! I'll definitely look into that.

Mulie, I missed where you explained about the letter to your hubs, but I'm glad he responded in a good way!

Goodnight everyone.

Muliebrity said...

AP, Yes, all is not forgotten, but he started on a higher dose of meds before he left and had been doing a weekly counseling session before he left. He is the quiet type, so I do a lot of talking and don't get a lot of feedback. I needed some feedback and actually got some positive information.

I have been on this roller coaster enough times to know we still have some more drops ahead.

KaytieJ said...

AP - Shaking hands. I am amnesic...for a nanosecond :-D

SW - You have your hands full with this one, but you know that right ;-D

Muliebrity said...

And I just read his response to the chick he sent a flirty email to and he said he was being a douche canoe and he deserved the grief he was getting from me.

Shannon said...

Oh Mulie that is sweet that he can admit it and accept that he has done something to earn your feelings....sometimes that is 1/2 the battle.

Muliebrity said...

Yah, Shannon, I think his brain drugs might actually be working. Hope they don't wear off before he gets back...

Muliebrity said...

And I just can't help but giggle at that elephant in a tutu. Is that wrong? That was a rhetorical question, don't answer.

KaytieJ said...

Rhetorical question or not, it was the perfect description :-D

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHAHAHA I get what you are saying I am hoping it is just a costume :)

But suddenly it is that time and I must off to bed

Muliebrity said...

As for me as well. 'Night all. Peace in the Middle East.

Karen said...

Looks like someone at least is still here - I finally just caught up to the top of this post so thought I'd say hello - My daughter came for dinner tonight and we watched lost and now Tay is spending the night cause Ang didn't leave til 11 - and it was his bedtime and she works tomorrow, so instead of driving 20 minutes to bring him in the a.m. she just left him here, she even stayed to put him to bed, so hopefully he will sleep all night and i'll not be on duty til in the morning!

Hi... lots of shit going down today huh?

KaytieJ said...

Karen - I am the worst person here to recap it all. It has been like a foreign film without subtitles :-D
Sounds like you have had a wonderful day and I hope Tay sleeps the night through for you!

Karen said...

Hi Kaytie - I finally read it ALL! it took a while though - and usually by the time I read everything from the entire day - everyone is in bed! I hate to skim though - I'm so nosey I read every word of every comment - don't want to miss a thing ya know? Tay will most likely sleep all night - he's such a good boy!!

I've seen you posting for a while here now Kaytie, and don't remember your name - are you from OHIH or how did you find us Daisy's?? Just wondering, you seem like a really nice person!

KaytieJ said...

Karen - You are so sweet. Thank you for asking. I have been here about a week at the request of a long time friend who goes by AP. I was so leary as I have never blogged before, but honestly, after one day of going through the posts, I dove in. DESPITE or better yet BECAUSE of, the moniker of low-life/no-life, snarky, daisy sniffing crowd. SW did her best to sway me that it is nothing but a husband hating, tatooing, back piercing group (evil grin) but I have loved otherwise and loving every minute of it!!!

Karen said...

Awesome Kaytie - I have chatted before online on a yahoo chat room for cancer patients and caregivers, I was a caregiver at the time, this was a long time ago - in 1999 and 2000 - that is where i met my wife actually! i was on ohih a while before the implosion, then joined sips and then joined the daisy low lifes when this started and i enjoy talking to so many different people and hearing their daily happenings!! Its alot of fun, and thats awesome that AP is your long time friend, I think she's great - and any friend of AP is a friend of mine! So - nice to meet ya!

KaytieJ said...

Only doing this for CK loved=learned No comment-LOL!

Karen said...

LOL Kaytie!

Karen said...

And now - as usual - I got caught up and its time to go to bed! I'm hoping for nice weather again tomorrow - we bought a bench and some landscaping stones today and I want to level the dirt and dig up a few plants and move them (is it too early to do that yet?) and make my little smoking section outside my front door - I love this little bench we got and a little table and gonna put these really cute sandstones in front of it for little stepping stones, I'm excited to get it done, I love working outside, and I want nice weather to get here fast!!

Kaytie, sorry to meet you and run, but its 2:33 and Tay is a good boy and sleeps well, but he will want breakfast by around 9 or 9:30 and will be sure to wake me up by them! Soo goodnight!!

KaytieJ said...

Are you still a caregiver, CPA? I have so much admiration for them. I did that in college and we now have them in our ICU. They are a god send.
I am still learning the sites behind all these anagrams, so sad the implosion happened and now the banning at SIP. I hate people having their feelings hurt. What I love about Daisy is that for once I feel people can talk about different sides, joke, sarcasm, banter-but it is still all good. No out and out mean and evil, imo. I love talking with ya! Thank you.

Karen- I know you are to bed, but your yard plans sound lovely. I don't know the usual replotting time for your landscaping area, though. Sweet dreams!

Morning ladies.

My throat is a little sore this morning. :(

Off to get ready!

Hi guys! I just found this blog, and wanted to say that I was previously on Sansinsanity and must have been blocked yesterday! I have NEVER posted anything negative about anyone there...I don't post a lot there at all, but I do check in occasionally. If anyone knows why I may have been kicked out, I would love to know. It sorta hurt my feelings:(.

Anonymous said...

Hi all!

Wow, the drama yesterday! I'm kind of disappointed I was sleeping when it occurred :P

I think I've figured out who 'Krista' is ;)

Bev- It might be because you weren't posting a lot. I know that's one of the million of reasons why someone can be banned from (S)IP.
I'm sorry your feelings are hurt.

Anonymous said...

Since I'm all alone ;), here's what I think re:Krista

- It's someone who's on both sites but doesn't necessarily post much on SIP because sha said she had missed Tara who is apparently a regular on SIP.

- It's someone who hadn't been posted as herself yesterday prior to her second 'Krista' because she acknowledged Tara and said 'afternoon all'.

I'm 99.999% sure I know who it is.

RiM- "Okay, I'm out of here for now. I feel like a walking violation, but I'm defintely not "Krista"."

I know that's not you ;)

Morning! I think I just need to give up sleeping so I can follow here in the morning without reading for hours to catch up!

Hi Taiya!

I'm so not into conspiracy theories but I do love me some internet drama ;-)

I'm multi-tasking - big school project/paper - but I'll keep my Oopsie Daisy window open, so when I get bored, I can talk with you all :P

Jeanette said...

Good Morning. Corrine, I don't suppose you want to share your theory? My email addy is on my blog. This kept me entertained all last night so I hopped on here as soon as I woke up to see if any of the morning crew would give it a go!

And yeah, this pretty much means I have no life. I'm okay with that.

Jeanette said...

Good Morning to Taiya also! I don't think we have "met." I don't remember your name from OHIH... How did you get wrapped up with the daisy snorters?

Ahhh. Yep. Shannon is our "fence rider." And head husband hater. She may be a low life with poor breeding but I love her any way.

Nice to "meet" ya!

Morning Corinne, Taiya, and Jeanette!

Hi Kristin!

Jeanette- I'll email you later today probably :) Right now, I'm up to my elbows in statistics. :D

Jeanette said...

Morning Kristin!

kristin said...

Damn you Corinne! I want to know your conspiracy theory too.

Jeanette said...

Oh snap, I almost missed that Corrine! I read it as you would email Kristin later. But you said said *me... Yippee!

P.S. It is entirely too early for me to be this awake.

Anonymous said...

Kristin- I'll shoot you an email too ;)

Know that even though I'm fairly confident about my theory, it remains just that, a theory :)

kristin said...

Bev - I am sorry that your feelings were hurt.

You are always welcome here - come snort a daisy or two :)

So why are you up this early Jeanette? Kiddo up or do you have plans?

Jeanette said...

Brookelyn stayed out with my grandparents last night and my uncle dropped her off about an hour ago. He had to take his son to school down here so he brought her home for me. She is wired for sound and I'm hoping she will wind down soon for a midmorning nap.

Anonymous said...

Krisin - no lyrics to a song?

kristin said...

Hey Margaret - nope, but I will have to check again now.

Jeanette - gotta love that!

Why did you guys make me stay up past midnight? I am tired.

Can I just bitch for a minute - my throat hurts, my toe hurts and I'm tired and I have way too much shit to get done!

T@iy@ said...

Poor babies to you Kristin! (That isn't sarcasm... it's sort of a family phrase for people who are sick or injured) :D

Hey Margaret!

and seriously - what happened to Kathleen - everytime I ask, I get no response - is that a name I should not mention? I think she used to post on Fellowship, its been awhile since I was really over there.

hmmmm.....

Morning ladies! Kristin, I'm sorry your throat hurts. Corinne, I'm sorry you missed the "drama" yesterday. It was super fun.

I feel hungover this morning, even though I haven't had a drop. Stayed up too late and woke up at 5:00 coughing and now have a headache. Joy.

Hope everyone has a great day day!

Angie said...

Taiya, I agree with your rational mind that it's probably nothing. What time is the doctor's appt?

Hi Sandy, SW & Margaret!

SW & Sandy- I'm sorry you're feeling unwell :(

Taiya- I hope it's nothing serious re: your husband {knocking on wood}

Lindsay said...

Good morning!

One last thing then I'll let this dead horse lie. Tara - I never ever asked you about Kristin. I actually talked to AP about it and went and apologized to Kristin herself about it through her blog. This was the last e-mail correspondence I had with you dated Feb 3rd, before you blocked me from your blog and unfollowed me, to which I was really confused about:

Hi - I just wanted to check in on you. It seems like you are going through something difficult, and I haven't seen you for a few days, so I thought I'd let you know that I was thinking about you. Hang in there with whatever it is :)

Linds

And if you could please forward me a copy of the e-mail where I was looking for information on Kristin being banned, I would really appreciate it as I have zero recollection of emailing you about that situation.

Did "Krista" tell you about my rant???

And now I shall quit beating a dead horse and the subject will not cross my keyboard again.

<<--tends to beat dead horses too, so completely understands the desire :-)

kristin said...

Lindsay - no worries - just so you know I'm not in the least bit upset with you or anything.

I think people like to "play" people against each other - he said/she said - kinda like Won did saying someone said something to her where Tee said something about my son. Who the f' cares?

It's over, it's done, I've moved on and it's juvenile!

People are going to believe one thing - and expand on it regardless of whether it is the truth or not.

Happy Thursday!

kristin said...

oh and Lindsay - that was in no way directed at you (moving on, juvenile, etc) - I hope you got that.

kristin said...

My mom just sent this to me:

Sister

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

So love the people who treat you right..
Love the ones who don't just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.

Taiya- My father has lipomas on his upper back. It's totally benign and quite common. I'll keep a good though for your Dh :)

Lindsay- There's no need to justify yourself. Really :) It's good that you spoke your mind and told us a bit about what happened :)

Anonymous said...

Kristin, do you mind if I c&p that. That is really good.

kristin said...

Go for it Sandy!

How are you today?

Lindsay said...

Kristin :) I do need to move on, though, don't I? I really thought I had!

Taiya - I'm so sorry. I'm sure it's nothing, but I totally get the worry.

Thanks ladies for still accepting me after various rants :) Nice to know I've got to show a little more crazy before I'm banned!

Kristin, thanks and I feel like POOP! First cold I've gotten in over a year.

kristin said...

No, really Lindsay - it really wasn't directed at you. If it was bothering you, you needed to get it off your chest and get it out there.

Now if you feel it is time, then do so. It took me awhile to process what had happened and accept it but I did.

I still would like to know why but I don't think I ever will.

It is sad really.

Angie said...

Hell, Lindsay, we've got a really freaking high tolerance for crazy here! I don't think you're anywhere near the limit!

Anonymous said...

Hey Lindsay, I'm still here and I say poop all the time! LOL

Lindsay said...

I know K :)

Thanks SW!

Sandy - sorry you feel like ca ca.

KaytieJ said...

"Thanks. Me too! It's probably lipomas or cysts or fatty deposits. :)"

Taiya - Hoping it is something benign. Remember too that "expecting" dads can have some weird symptoms.

Hey everyone...I just wanted to give you an update on Tee. She was admitted to the hospital after a routine dr appt and they are trying to get her pain under control and take care of the kidney stones and kidney infection. She is somewhat comfortable now, but they are still assessing her condition.

Amy said...

Shannon and anyone who wants to make those mozz sticks I posted about yesterday...they're "ok" but I did not either get my oil hot enough or they should be deep-fried instead of pan-fried. The flavor was great, but the execution left something to be desired. Sorry I didn't post this last night, but I ended up in a fried food slumber.
