I'd shimmy, but I might get a concussion.

"Margaret- the lawn is cut. You can put the pictureup for bidding. ::shhh::"

Vat does that mean?

Amy said...

I wish I knew who Kayi was, I could kiss her right now.

Amy said...

Also...Into the Vile...I hated the book into the wild.

twirldawg said...

JF classy women like yourself don't kiss other women. That would be vile and uncouth.

PJ said...

Into the Vile ~ Christopher McCandless said...
Thre is no logic, YckFck.

Thanks for starting that. I'm just a wild and crazy guy.

Amy said...

Tits, you have no idea how vile and uncouth this old thespian can be...

PJ said...

Who's trying for a better pic. Not just a shot of my better half.

PJ said...

Do you know how hard it is to find a pic on the internet of Two Wild and Crazy Guys from SNL in the late 70's.

I didn't until now.

twirldawg said...

"Tits, you have no idea how vile and uncouth this old thespian can be..."

Actually, I've head Angela Landsbury is a wild one.

won said...

AP

You've got mail.

Nilia said...

I'm here! Off to make dinner, bbl.

PJ said...

JF, I didn't much care for the movie Into the Wild myself.

Amy said...

I haven't seen the movie, but read the book as required by a class I took ages ago...had no desire to see the movie after that!

Lisa said...

Do I now, super sleuth?

PJ said...

Jessica - you SO remind me of Shirley Goodness when she was younger. I always thought that when I watched you on Murder She Wrote.

Thank you for the sweet memory.

T@iy@ said...

Not RiM- Thanks for checking on me! I was busy. My cold (and DDs) is finally starting to get better ::looking pointedly Lindsay's way:: so it is back to life as usual :) Internet was down during DD's nap, too. I also *did have a to do list to work on, but of course I ended up playing with play-doh, reading, and painting most of the day, but I got some stuff done! (Okay that sounds like I did those things by myself. I think you get what I mean, though.. haha) That was way more fun than cleaning and organizing my bedroom, I have to tell you. :)

Amy said...

CK, I wish I could give you a big squeeze right now...you know she's always with you, right? In your heart, as my oldest says...

Angie said...

Who the hell is Jessica Fletcher? I feel so stupid! And you'd think a cop would be better at sleuthing, but there it is. Guess there's a reason I keep failing the detective's exam.

PJ said...

She's from our generation, SW.

Angela Lansbury, of Murder She Wrote fame. Plus stage and screen.

PJ said...

By that I mean our TV watching generation. Not *our generation. I'm old, but not that old.

Amy said...

LOL SW! :) I cannot believe you, as a cop, didn't watch MSW!

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - Got your mail and replied. TY!

Rhys - DH and I can't figure out which photo we would like - I am partial to Wheat and Water shots. I am on a three night stretch, so it will be later this week before I get to you on it. Thanks again.

Mulie: Thanks for bringing up the topic. It was all very interesting, you vile creatures :-D

KaytieJ said...

:::not speaking to SW:::
If you get shot in the Ass on your rounds tonight, SW, I'm seriously thinking of not using Novocaine.
(eg).

Angie said...

Ugh. I meant who is *posing as Jessica Fletcher, you bitches.

PJ said...

Whew, that's a relief SW.

I thought perhaps you'd caught Mrs. Thatcher's dementia.

kristin said...

Hey ladies - I am so not caught up but thought I would say hello.

I am doing fine, just lying low - ya know?

Angie said...

Nitsirk! Good to see you!

Amy said...

SW, that would be me...lover of all things mysterious, meat, and food. ;)

PJ said...

Nitsirk - howdy howdy!

PJ said...

You have a Czech name just like I do.

Amy said...

Thank you, Nitsirk!!!

PJ said...

Must go home and be fed by my buxom bohemian wife.

I'll czech in later.

twirldawg said...

Nitsirk glad to see you

Robin said...

I. AM. COMPLETELY. LOST.

Amy said...

It's ok Robin...we're just trying to keep it lively and interesting for the lurkers.

Margo said...

I can't figure out who anyone is anymore - hmph!

Amy said...

Love your yard, btw...would like to live in it, I could be your garden gnome.

Angie said...

I'll catch you up, Robin. They are bitches who won't say who they are. ::pouting::

Margo said...

Happy Nursing Week Kay!!! Try and keep your scrubs up this week will ya :)

Shannon said...

I am not a bad word SW!!

twirldawg said...

Bitch?
I'm a high school teacher, I've been called worse.

Robin said...

Thanks for the nice comments on my yard. I do love it. And I feel like I ran a marathon today after all the work I did in it yesterday.

But it's ok. They say it burns calories.

So does sex.

It's a good exercise program, taken all together. :)

tumbleweedgirl said...

wow, you guys have been busy on the silliness and stuff.

i still have not thought of a good disguise. so i am just saying

hi

hi

Angie said...

Shannon, even *I can figure out who you are.

Angie said...

Rhys! I was just wondering where you were today.

Shannon said...

Well when you arent very hidden it isnt hard :) I suppose if I made my profile unavailable it would make it trickier :)

Angie said...

I read one time that you only burn off the calories of a small apple having sex. I decided it's not worth the trouble.

Margo said...

Hi Rhys!

Shannon said...

SW you have to have really vigorous sex...you must remember the kind that lasts for hours

tumbleweedgirl said...

SW

hey you (:

i've been playing with the kids, blowing bubbles, programming, working out, cooking, cleaning, programming some more.

doing some pictures, sending an order to someone who is going to use it for an auction. seems i spend more time donating photography than selling it. i'm ok with that. it feels nice to give.

how you doing?

you're now a cop, not a lawyer?

tumbleweedgirl said...

margaret

how are you guys doing?

twirldawg said...

Hours? eh, that is too much work.

Shannon said...

SW when you and AP get married you will learn how to burn more calories :)

Robin said...

I burned an orchard then.

:)

Margo said...

I'm doing good Rhys. I came home tonight from work and my husband had made dinner. I feel like Ward Cleaver!

Shannon said...

I am going semi gourmet this evening....for those who enjoy tasty food there will be chicken tenderloins with asparagus wrapped in bacon with barley...the others will have potatoes with bacon wrapped tenderloins.

Angie said...

I agree with you, Tits.

tumbleweedgirl said...

SnI

i'm having leftover butter chicken with spinach. the kids enjoyed some of the same, plus carrot muffin minis. (:

tumbleweedgirl said...

margaret

sounds like a nice dinner (:

Shannon said...

Yummy TWG.....I have decided that this is going to take more work then I originally thought since I want the bacon and chicken at least partially cooked before tossing it all together.

twirldawg said...

"I agree with you, Tits. "

This made me snort. Thanks SW

Angie said...

Anytime.

Margo said...

I'm watching a show on the Unibomber - I wonder what he would have to say about blogging?

KaytieJ said...

Thanks Margaret - I think it is Teacher Week and they much deserve it.

AS long as I don't shimmy I think I will keep my scrubs on :-D

Taking my bag of French Roast Beans and tin of Fruit Cake to share with my cop buddies. Hoping my Detective friend is on that works internet security...might have a nice chat with him over some Fruit Cake.

Nite all! Be safe, but don't be good ;-D

Angie said...

Night Kaytie!

kristin said...

Bye Kaytie! Have a good evening!

Dinner eaten, kitchen *kinda clean, kid bathed, one load of laundry put away, another started, need to clean the living room and get DS down.

Angie said...

How is DS, Nitsirk?

Margo said...

Kay - do they celebrate nursing week at your hospital? It's all the rage where I am.

Erin said...

It actually took me *alot longer to figure out Nitsirk then it should have!

Anonymous said...

Hey dirtbags, what's shakin' in the vile flowerbed?

Erin said...

Tits- did you ghet any goodies for teacher appreciation week today?

Anonymous said...

Nitsirk! Hola!

Margo said...

I wonder what lurkers think when they click over here and see the names :)

Anonymous said...

I'm always Bella, so teh feeble old gals over at the the Fruitstand don't get confused :)

twirldawg said...

VVC- they had breakfast for us

We get a gift on Thursday, but Friday will be the day we get our letters. I'm excited.

Angie said...

You know what I've wondered, Margaret? I've wondered how FWOP can keep her righteous anger up, reading here all the time as she does. There are some dang funny ladies here (hat tip to whoever had the shamwow comment earlier), and I can't imagine reading here constantly and being able to maintain the vitriol that apparently fuels FWOP.

Amy said...

Bella, you are always thinking of the less fortunate...bless you!

Margo said...

Bella with attack kitty.

Angie said...

<<--is feeble too.

Aha! Jill is Tits! Cracked that one, I did!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Asparagus risotto and homemade bread for dinner here tonight.

...that's all I got.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I've only figured out S&I...but it's hard not to know who S&I is, quite frankly. :)

Angie said...

BD, I had you pegged as Jessica. No?

Dinner sounds yum! What kind of bread?

twirldawg said...

Ah, it's fun to "coitus" with people.
I'm thinking of a new identity for tomorrow.

Anonymous said...

Risotto rocks!

Righteous anger...I love it. More like displaced rage that she is trying to keep under control. Well, ladies, I am out to eat some dinner for a bit, I have to keep under my 3 hour limit on the internet, or else you may see me on Intervention.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Nope. I've not disguised myself at all. I wouldn't even know how to do it. But I'd be much more likely to disguise myself as Alexis Carrington, or someone equally fabulous. :)

Just a crusty French...it's the basic setting on my bread machine. :)

Angie said...

Can't wait Jill. Sigh.

See ya Bella!

I find being pissed off exhausting. I can keep it up for a few days, then I run out of energy.

Nilia said...

::perks up::

Hey, who's my SouthPark buddy here? I had a Family Guy buddy, did I have a SouthPark buddy too or was I imagining it?

Towlie had an intervention yesterday.

It was sad because he's addicted to meth and his child (washcloth) isn't allowed to see him when he's high.

::sniff:

Nilia said...

LOL! SW cracked tits!!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

ST:

I don't watch SP, but I saw that one!

Oh my God, it was brilliant.

Nilia said...

::maybe just funny for me because I'm so tired and had frozen food items for dinner::

Nilia said...

BD: It took me a sec to figure out who ST was. See, I'm no good at this!

That was a funny episode, dammit.

Erin said...

Tits- we did a snack cart today. All sorts of snacks and goodies. Wheeled it around to each classroom. It was cute, everyone was so excited.

SW- nothing like a sham wow for alot o' snot.

ST(D)- Sorry. I had to do that! I saw part of the towlie intervention. It was pretty funny.

twirldawg said...

ST South Park must come on a week later there. Hilarious episode.

Nilia said...

VVT: you need to add another "Vile" in there.

STD indeed!

::huffy::

T@iy@ said...

Hey Daisies! DD is in bed, feet are soaked, kitchen is semi-clean. :) Mommy time. Well, Daddy, too. We are watching some tv for a bit. He says 'hi' btw. :) I couldn't even begin to explain who everyone is, but, well, still... he's getting a kick out of it.

Erin said...

You asked for it. I did not feel your apology last night was as *sincere as it should have been.

Nilia said...

Hmmmm, you sound like someone else I know... apologies... not sincere enough.....

Lisa said...

Can someone drop me a hint who Nitsirk is? Being recently widowed and all, I'm a bit distracted.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

TWP:

You are being sarcastic, right?

tumbleweedgirl said...

it's wall of dust 2 that has hit the house.

wow. i love this place. (: later in the summer, i will NOT wax rhapsodisic about the dust, because my windows will either be open and i will be dusting, or they will be shut and i will be roasting.

but right now, the dust is quite fantastic

tumbleweedgirl said...

and it took me this longish to figure out nitsirk

hi nitsirk! (:

Erin said...

Pehaps you should not have consumed her Widdow Pie.

And I too hope you are being sarcastic. Because if not, you are gonnna smack yourself in the head when you find out.

Then you'll have Pie in your Eye.

Lisa said...

"You are being sarcastic, right?"

Oh, God. *cries* Is it that obvious?

Lisa said...

OH!!!!!

Nilia said...

::offers VVT a bouquet of Daisies picked from R2's garden::

Thanks, R2!

Lisa said...

Nevermind. Jeeeez.
If I do that again, just put me down.

Erin said...

Told ya.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

"OH!!!!!"

And, scene.

Erin said...

Thank you ST. I shall drop the 'D'.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

BTW, hi, Nitsirk.

Lisa said...

Hush, BD. As brilliant as you are, I'm sure you have your moments, too.

Nilia said...

Howdy Nitsirk!

Nilia said...

Sorry. Hola Nitsirk!

Nilia said...

VVC: don't know why I keep calling you VVT.

More daisies coming your way!

Lisa said...

Hiya, Nitsirk. :-)

God, it's hot tonight. A/c guy had to put it off and I'm sticky. Yuck.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

TWP:

:)

Robin said...

YW, SP!! :)

Robin said...

I meant ST.

Duh.

Nilia said...

S'okay Robin, you prolly got my middle name in there. :-)

T@iy@ said...

I am sitting here trying to decide if it is worth getting something thrown at me to ask the very-obvious "Who is ST?" question. Hmm....

Erin said...

I thank you too R2. Bad Rox has eaten all of my dasies. :(

PJ said...

Taiya - don't worry - I looked back to see who VVT was.

Robin said...

Bad Rox?

Nilia said...

Taiya: only The Shadow knows who I am. I am being very mysterious and have significantly changed my personality so as to not be easily detected.

Spanish Teacher Misteriosa!

T@iy@ said...

No. I was going to mock MIss WP over there. :) Wasn't sure if she would throw her broken A/C unit at me or something. :)

Erin said...

That is what she now answers to, since she is a bad pup.

Nilia said...

R2 needs a disguise. But what?

Lisa said...

Taiya, luckily for you, it's not a window unit.

R2 could be D2. That'll throw everyone off.

Anonymous said...

Anyone done bacon on the grill? We just did, and about set the deck on fire. Yowza!

Anonymous said...

How about Princess Leah for Robin?

Amy said...

Bella, you should cook it in the oven...crispy and the mess gets in the oven, not all over the stovetop or grill (flare ups, anyone?)

Nilia said...

No, never have. But you know what I have always wanted to see up close? Well not *too up close, but one of those suckers that deep fries an entire turkey.

Amy said...

If you have a baking stone, cooking it in the oven works even better.

Anonymous said...

it was an experiment, Ms. Fletcher. The char tasted good on top of a burger, I must say.

Anonymous said...

Would a pizza stone work?

Shannon said...

Deep fry your bacon!!!

Nilia said...

JF: I have a cooking stone but have never used it (Pampered Chef). What's it good for? Bacon in the oven? What else? I should crack open the box. I only bought it maybe 9 or 10 years ago.

Nilia said...

S&I: You *would suggest deep frying.

Amy said...

Bella,

It's Ms. Fletcher...you may call me Julia now. I have reverted to my cooking persona. Yes, a pizza stone would work.

Robin said...

I thought I was disguised since I dropped the 2?

Shannon said...

Well if there is two things I know....everything is better with bacon (she says after buying 5lbs of deli bacon today) and bacon comes out perfect when deep fried :)

Erin said...

ST- the baking stone makes great french fries. I use it for anything I would use a baking pan for.

Shannon said...

LOL Robin it could be a damn good disguise....I mean look at ST nobody knows who she is

Amy said...

GASP

ST! I am *shocked! I worship my stones (not really, but I like to cook with them). Stones are good for EVERYTHING. I have a confession to make, fwop. I used to whore for pampered chef, but not for very long and I only did it for the discount! I bought much much more than I sold. I was my best customer. My best whore. I am a pampered chef prostitute.

Anyway...ST. I have some great recipes for you. You will love your stone and want to use it. Alot. ALOT!

twirldawg said...

My mom tried to cook bacon in the oven once.
yada yada yada,
The firemen were cute.

Erin said...

*notJ- I was a PC whore once upon a time, not for very long either, but I still love my stuff. Especially my rubber spatula.

Angie said...

I always cook bacon in the oven. It's easier that way, for me. Have ya'll ever got thick cut bacon and put brown sugar on it and cook it? Lord have mercy, it's good.

Angie said...

I love my PC can opener, the kind that doesn't leave a sharp rim.

Lisa said...

Doesn't the bacon splatter all over the inside of your oven?

Angie said...

Maybe TWP, but I'm not a stickler for a clean oven.

Shannon said...

I just cooked the bacon for dinner in the oven....I dont worry about splatters since it isnt too horrible but shit I always have messes in the oven.

T@iy@ said...

Well, I have been lurking, but nothing worth contributing, so I am off to bed. :) Night Not-Daisies.

Erin said...

S&I and SW- my oven is always a mess. That is why the door shuts. Out of sight, out of mind.
SW's bacon is making me want bacon. Do you cook it on a rack, or just in a pan? I use a rack in the oven.

Amy said...

TWP that is what self cleaning ovens are for...and well, it smells really good in your house until you get around to cleaning that self cleaning oven.

kristin said...

Night Taiya!

SW - DS is good, we had a good night tonight even though he won't stay in his room. :)

Thanks for asking!

His newest thing is "kickity kick ball!" I'm thinking a bit too much WOW! WOW! lmao!

ummm...can I ask which personal EL took?

I am so confused :)

back to cleaning!

Amy said...

SW there was a recipe on PW tasty kitchen for brown sugar covered bacon wrapped around pineapple chunks then baked in the oven. I might just keel over because of that recipe (well, and her bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed "halipinos".

Shannon said...

Hey I forgot to say hello to Nitsirk....Hello

I use a cookie sheet because there is still a lot of grease

twirldawg said...

All the "drippings" in the oven are extra seasoning right?

PJ said...

Hi - just hanging out reading about bacon and drippings. Early bedtime - carpool tomorrow.

kristin said...

and hello to all that said hi!

Lisa said...

Okay, I'm weird about wanting my oven clean *and I don't have a self-cleaning one, so maybe bacon in there isn't the best thing for me to do. It does sound good, though, especially with the brown sugar.

Shannon said...

TWP if you want delicious bacon in the oven but dont want the splatters you can put tin foil on it with the dull side up. This will keep your bacon splatters where they go but allow you to get all the yummy that comes from oven baking your bacon. One of the best parts of cooking it that way is you dont have the uneven crisp and it stays mostly flat.

Anonymous said...

I might have to try bacon on my pizza stone, with brown sugar. Thanks, SW.

Angie said...

Holy mother of God. Bacon-wrapped pineapple with brown sugar? That, I'm making soon!

Amy said...

I usually line my baking stone or cookie sheet with foil, and if you have a cooling rack type thing that is oven safe, you can put the bacon on that with the foil-lined pan underneath. No one's gonna see the inside of my oven except me, TWP, and it *will be cleaned eventually, lest I do another blow torch turkey experiment and make the fire alarm go off. Oh, wait...nope, not me Monday!

Shannon said...

Oh for the love of my cholesterol you just dont love me at all do you??!!!! I had bacon tonight and now I am so thinking that bacon pineapple brown sugar thing is sounding so damn good.

Anonymous said...

How did I know that SI would know how to properly cook bacon in every way?

Did Sandy go into hiding? Sandy, don't let those Fruitstand bullies get to you. I miss you :(

Angie said...

I didn't start the bacon convo! Not my fault!

I usually cook bacon on a broiler pan.

I told you guys, back in the SIP days, about the bacon wrapped crackers with parmesan cheese right? It's apparently an old appetizer recipe that Paula Deen dug up in recent years. Pile parmesan on a townhouse-type cracker, wrap the cracker in half a strip of bacon and back at 200 degrees for several hours. Holy moly, they are good.

Anonymous said...

My arteries just told me that this is considered a vile conversation.

Angie said...

Sandy may be here. I don't know who the hell VVC or NJ are.

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHA well the foil trick with dull side up I learned from a place I used to work.

But I also know that when you cook it in the oven and get it just turning brown it is so much easier to wrap around other food because it doesnt get all curled. And it also manages to cook better so you dont have yummy food with soggy bacon wrapped around it.

tumbleweedgirl said...

i have bacon here too. Rock got me some at the store so i can make jalapeno poppers. tomorrow, i shall foray into it.

Angie said...

Don't you love it when Shannon bursts into laughter? It tickles me. :-)

Erin said...

"ummm...can I ask which personal EL took?"

Nitsirk- ? what does this mean?

Amy said...

We need to be careful with our conversations otherwise the FDA and Department of Health and Surgeon General and whatnot will be shutting us down.

Angie said...

Robin puts pineapple in her jalapeno poppers. Do you, Rhys?

Amy said...

TWG,

You will love it. Flavor fireworks in your mouth.

Anonymous said...

Flavor fireworks! YES!

Shannon said...

LOL You may laugh at me laughing but you all really do keep me laughing...hell I blame you all for my OBVIOUS addiction.

Anonymous said...

SI, are you over your three hours that are allotted a day? Unplug, vile lady!

tumbleweedgirl said...

i have never added pineapple to them before. someone i know did that, they were good.

i was sad, though, they had removed all seeds. i'm going for the sham-wow spicy taste. because the AD has helped me not want sugar anymore, but i adore spice.

i'm trying these 2 recipes:

http://www.jalapenocafe.com/recipes/poppers/pop_pop1.html

http://www.jalapenocafe.com/recipes/poppers/pop_pop4.html

because i am lucky enough that my husbands loves for me to experiment and wants me to spoil myself more. hence the bacon, cream cheese, and jalapenos. no child-happy food comes from that (:

Anonymous said...

Hello...hi to all of our *new people today!

I'm laughing because my husband is at the grocery store and has called me no less than 5 times even though he has a list with him!

Shannon said...

Shit I am over my 12 hours for the day. I mean after all it was stated that if you are not online for money making it is an addiction no matter what right? Well I have been here and there and everywhere as well as homeworking and game playing and chatting with other friends...but yeah I have a problem.

Anonymous said...

S&I...the first step to breaking that vile addiction is to acknowledge it...so you're on your way!

Shannon said...

I will acknowledge it, own it, hold it, and unfortunately I dont see me fixing it any time soon :)

Anonymous said...

I am an internet addict, too. I own it. I love being online, so what?

Anonymous said...

Apparently it's unacceptable.

Anonymous said...

::sulks::

Shannon said...

Christy I read that somewhere today....you can only be online if it is lining your pockets. But I heard it from the same people who say that you cannot have a negative opinion about other people and express that opinion because then you are a bully.

tumbleweedgirl said...

<--- web programmer.

Anonymous said...

I heard that somewhere, too.

I wonder how much time some people spend online looking for useless information.

Anonymous said...

Well, if you're getting paid then you are not a vile internet addict.

kristin said...

VVC - personal = persona...oops.

Kitchen is almost clean and it smells good too :)

Anonymous said...

Could someone go over to fwop and clarify that I am not a mom? It's pissing me off to be lumped in with all the mom bullies.

Anonymous said...

nitsirk...VVC left you a clue.

PJ said...

And I'm not a blogger, Bella. They keep getting things wrong.

D minus for fact checking.

Shannon said...

Well Bella I was lumped in as a mommy blogger...somehow I dont think that my blog is typical of a mommy blogger

You will deal with it woman!!!

Lisa said...

Bella, you're a mom to OZ. Close enough.

SI, thanks for the foil tip! Never knew that. Next thing, can I do bacon in the oven and keep it soft? We aren't crispy bacon fans here.

Who wants a big ol' laugh? Raise your bosoms.

Robin said...

I get paid to be online all day. I develop web-based education.

In the evenings, I'm on because I want to be.
