No tiara, sorry. You'd just pawn it or lose it like you did your grandfather.

Noon and 6pm, once again!

Flashback!

Karen said...

So glad I stopped in to say goodnight- the last post had me laughing out loud!

Goodnight Daisy's - been a long day here, and long overnight last night - will try to catch up tomorrow - but we are taking Megan and Riley and Tay shopping and to lunch at this new Indian restaurant that has a lunch buffet, I hope its good food - its like 2 miles from my house and looks nice!

Goodnight girls - and Chris! And Elisabeth, your post about how everything is paid and you have food in the pantry/freezer, etc. just made me get good chills reading that, for real! Just because JM wouldn't repost about Chris, and you went to MWOP to talk about it - and our Daisy leader found you and talked about you here, and now you have things paid and so much worry and stress off your family - it does just give me chills! I hope you and Chris are having a great night!!

Enniroc- As much as I love ya, it is *way to early for the secret code shit.

PJ said...

Morning - is it backwards day again today?

Corinne - you're making my head hurt.

Why, why, why?

PJ said...

I wish people would get their data straight.

PJ said...

Somebody's been attending the Trish VanPilsum's School of Crack Investigative Reporting.

Margo said...

Good morning daisies :)

It's a beautiful day here. This is teaser weather though - it could still get cold again.

Good moring Anne - yea, that whole thing confused me. I will say that our Bella girl is a real natural beauty. What a cute photo.

Anonymous said...

Good morning ladies!

EL & CK - I had fun typing my comment backwards :P

PJ said...

And I had *fun reading them backwards.

Margo said...

Corinne is too smart for her own good!

Anonymous said...

Anne - So, my history teacher lied, you did not die in Bergen Belsen!

Brie said...

Morning Daisies! Hubby woke up with a migraine so I wont be in much today... I'm starting to go through withdrawls...

In other news, my son just informed me that the little boy who I am watching put an acorn in his milk and that it was yucky.

In DS speak acorn = poop

PJ said...

I was just trying to avoid being accused of hating Jews. So I hid.

Hi Margaret!

Anonymous said...

Hi Eirb!

Anonymous said...

Anne - I understand now. I'm going to call the news to tell them you're alive!

Margo said...

So the upside of unemployment is my husband and daughter got to play basketball before school today. When he was working he'd leave the house at 5 and not get home some nights until 8. I'd say that's a silver lining :)

PJ said...

Must go hide again. I will be accused of making it all up.

::falls apart into A Million Little Pieces::

PJ said...

Margaret - major silver lining.

Anonymous said...

Margaret - I second CK, that's a major silver lining :)

CK - Don't you think it's weird when some thing that *should have been addressed just go unnoticed and others are blown up out of proportion? Some things make you go hmmmm... ;)

Margo said...

I've got to go - I'm leaving EL alone today and heading out west to stalk Lady Balls. Later pot heads.

twirldawg said...

Morning again.
I am hallway sitting again while standardized tests are going on so I'm stuck on my phone.

I'm still laughing about last night.

Melissa said...

FTR-I'm not the one by my same name posting on FWOP or MWOP. I've only rencently taken to posting here-albeit on a very irregular basis. This group of ladies (and Chris) are the nicest and most supportive group that I've seen in a long time.
Sorry, but that whole FWOP thing had been bothering me so I wanted to clear the air.

Muliebrity said...

Good morning, my vile companions!

Muliebrity said...

I am still waiting for Robin to explain her love for "Into the Wild"....

Angie said...

ROFL! Thank goodness I didn't have coffee in my mouth when I saw today's post! Lord have mercy, that's funny!

Erin said...

SW- I have learned not to have *anything in my mouth when reading. My keyboard and my nasal passages are suffering.

Amy said...

Damn, I missed a lot, A LOT last night.

Angie said...

Funny, EL!

Assilem, I didn't think for a minute that was you posting on FWOP.

Last night was hilarious, but I'm hurting for sleep today. I slept restlessly and had a demon dream. (F*ck Paranormal Activity!)

Jill, 12 more to go!

Question about sweet tea : was the recipe conceived by a dentist whose practice was on the brink of bankruptcy because he didn't have enough patients?

twirldawg said...

Corinne possibly.

Trudy said...

Erin and Mulebrity you crafts went in the mail this A.M. I added a extra gifts for you so don't think you package is wrong. Thank =)

Melissa said...

Thanks SW-it was kinda making me paranoid.

Speaking of sweet tea-has anyone ever tried sweet tea wine?

Amy said...

Do you like my disguise? No one will recognize me with all this hair.

tumbleweedgirl said...

i have come to provide you with much fun on this wet wet day

Amy said...

cith,

I need some green eggs and ham...have you any?

tumbleweedgirl said...

cousin it

i'm so glad you showed up! i've putresced the eggs and ham until they glow with a lovely radioactive green. i have plenty to share.

Amy said...

This is much better. I couldn't see with all that hair. Thanks, cat! I should probably ingest as much of the radioactive eggs as possible, you know, to kill the vileness.

Erin said...

Thank you Rudy!

Erin said...

cith- stay away from my house! It is messy enough as it is! :) Sorry for your rain. We have sun, sun, sun. Yay!

Shannon said...

Good morning vile daisies

I have to tell ya I love reader :) I knew that today there would be either something about Bella or myself for the topic....how you might ask. Well I do believe that we would be the only ones referred to as the "tattooed" ones :) And OMG they posted a pic of Bella that she has used a LOT for her avatar...shocking!!!

And they have outed CK and her MPs.....ummm let's see how many of those 'super secret' identities are for fun on this very board?

Brain surgeons over there ladies guard your balls.

Erin said...

<--- may have to go back undercover

tumbleweedgirl said...

el

undercover is best *nods*, it just took me a few days to come up with something appropriate.

don't worry, we're cleaning today. no real rain, just the wet from frost.

Erin said...

They have us running scared Shannon. We need to keep changing our screen names b/c we are hiding something. Wow. I sure hope they don't find out I am a chubby housewife with a lot of kids and pets as well as a vile addiction to diet pepsi. ::hangs head in shame::

Amy said...

Good morning Vile Shannon,

It is rather interesting the lack of comments over there, compared to how many hits they are supposedly getting. The majority of the comments are the mod and a former acquaintance of ours.

Shannon said...

It really is very very interesting indeed Amy.

EL I was almost too afraid to even log on this morning....the fear is crippling me.

And like you EL I hope they dont find out that I am an overweight house parent taking classes online and fighting my horrendous Dr. Pepper addiction.

Shannon said...

I think that the comparrison to Trish was rather funny....mostly because it is so damn true :)

Shannon said...

Today I will be in and out because due to my lack of motivation yesterday I am going to find myself behind where I should be with my classes....but let me just say I love doing these on my own pace.

twirldawg said...

I have nothing to hide.

Amy said...

Motivation is good, Shannon. You know, you might have an internet addiction if you don't get up and away from the computer soon. Really, I read it somewhere!

Amy said...

Hey John! Good to see you. How's that whole Enlightenment thing going for ya?

Anonymous said...

I'm here to say that I am a very angry person.

Erin said...

Shannon- addicted to dr. pepper *and the internet. Vile, I tell you. Vile.

Anonymous said...

My anger has overwhelmed me...I must go back to work.

Erin said...

TTO- Your avatar itself suggests the extent of your angry person affliction

Robin in Montana said...

'Somebody's been attending the Trish VanPilsum's School of Crack Investigative Reporting.'

And now somebody needs a lung transplant due to the wheezing that induced. lol.

Margo said...

Diet coke break.

I thought Barry Manilow was the flaming jew?

Shannon said...

LMAO Oh great tattooed one how does one function when dealing with the amount of anger you have in you? Do you beat up invalids? Is Chris in danger?

Evil Lady you have no idea.....does it make it worse with all of my already announced addictions if I admit another one? Coffee.....the shame of it all.

Shannon said...

Barry Manilow is not gay!!!

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I can't put my finger on why I love that movie. It wasn't about him being selfish, it wasn't about him being an irresponsible hiker with no map (disclaimer: Rhys and I talked about this in email, so I'm not being a cyber bully, heh), it wasn't about the physical aspect of what he did in any way. I think he wasn't alone by a long stretch in feeling like he didn't fit in, and that what had been drilled into his head as important for all his life (money, education, status) wasn't working for him, and he didn't know *why, and he started hating it and what it represented and resenting the people (friends/family/society) that pushed the idea on him that it was what was "right" for him. And he just struck out against that.

Was he irresponsible and ill-prepared? Yes. No doubt. Did his actions cause hurt to his family and friends and even people he crossed in his 'journey'? Absolutely. But would he have caused hurt and pain to those same people had he kept trying to pretend he was fitting in the mold that he was supposed to fit in throughout his life? Absolutely. I don't know. He was, like lots and lots of people are, just deeply unhappy and trying to figure out *why and what would make him happy. Turns out he never really found out, either.

That quote of "happiness only real when it's shared," just killed me.

I loved that movie. Don't know if I mentioned that before. :-D

tumbleweedgirl said...

i have a very serious confession

i'm addicted to kissing the nose of a very special little girl, and making tiny dinosaur scrunching noises on the belly of an awesome little man.

Margo said...

Between the wheezing and the pants wetting that goes on when I read here I think I need a nebulizer on-hand and some diapers!

Erin said...

<---- hates coffee

Robin in Montana said...

cat in the hat - I'd need a recording of what a dinosaur sounds like when it's scrunching. That seems like a dangerous addiction.

Margo said...

<------- thinks the Cat's confession is so tender and lovely.

Lisa said...

¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

twirldawg said...

amy the enlightenment thing is going well, but I really just want to get off this Island.

Erin said...

Margaret- I just read while sitting on the potty with my laptop. One problem solved.

Amy said...

Wait..is that a Lost reference? I don't do lost, so I'm lost...

Lisa said...

John Locke, if you hide under my bountiful skirts, I can get you across the border and into Mexico. The border guards are easily distracted when I do a very spirited macarena.

Anonymous said...

Evil lady - You hate coffee? Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Coffee is delicious. (and decaf' is the devil's blend).

Lisa said...

But if you're lost on Lost, are you *really lost?

Anonymous said...

Asuncion - That is the question. To be lost or not to be lost...

Lisa said...

If Tim Gunn was on Lost, they'd not have all these problems. He'd tell them to make it work and they would.

twirldawg said...

Make it work.

I love it.

Robin in Montana said...

Deezzziiinnneeersss. :::seal clap::::

Erin said...

HG- I *do hate coffee. With a passion. But I love you. Especially when you save the kitty.

Shannon said...

OK I just made an observation that I find a little humorous.

Apparently all you have to do to get on fucked without protection's list is simply post here. Hell CM is on the list and she just came by yesterday.....yeah it isnt anyone with a chip on up their ass at all against OHIH'ers.

Deb said...

Good morning ladies!

Sorry I'm late to the party I had to get a "Suspicious Mole" removed from my leg.

How is everyone?!

tumbleweedgirl said...

margaret

it's such a silly thing to be addicted to, but i really am.

of course, i also like turning loose the Things 1 and 2 and making a large large mess.

rim

dinosaur scrunchies involve a lot of guttural whisper growls and tiny finger footprints up the spine. it's a serious and hardworking endeavor.

Anonymous said...

Evil Lady - It's a good thing that you like me :)
Saving the cat was an important thing to do. After all, we're alike, me and the cat. We're a couple of poor nameless slobs.

Robin in Montana said...

Okay, I have to get something done today. Something, anything.

I will check back with you hookers later.

Muliebrity said...

RiM, Thanks for explaining, but did you have to do it in such a vile uncivilized way? ;-)

I din't hate the movie, just the general theme disgusted me. Did you read the book? If so, how did it compare to the movie?

Erin said...

<--- thinks Mulie will get RiM to come back out to play!

Hi Milton! Any stitches?

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - I didn't read the book. I have a couple of his books and can never get into his writing style.

Sorry about being so vile. I was going to say fuck you if you don't like this movie, but I am really working on my cyber bullying addiction these days.

I just bought this t-shirt:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/womens/7fa9/

It's cool, isn't it? I know this is not very "Holly Golightly" but I like it. ;)

tumbleweedgirl said...

o, holly,

i LOVE thinkgeek!

i want the PI shirt, and the binary mom shirt. plus, any other cheeky geky shirt (:

. said...

Hey Guys, hoooow's it goin'?
Listen, I'm gonna need you to all get back to work on those TPS reports, mmmkay? That'd be greeeaaat.

Lisa said...

Holly, that shirt has a chemical compound on it. That means you're a crackhead. I understand how all these drug-culture clues work, you know.

Muliebrity said...

For me, "Into the Wild" falls into the category as "High Fidelity". The men-who-consistantly-hurt-the-ones-they-love-and-never-learn-anything category. Or Selfish Bastard movies.

Anonymous said...

Cat in the hat - I love thinkgeek too :-)

AMLdP- I am a crackhead, you got me ;)

Anonymous said...

Bill - We are procrastinators. Live with it. :P

Robin in Montana said...

::scowls at Mulie and formulates an email with made-up information to send to FWOP:::

Deb said...

Oh crap, Lumbergh just showed up

::hides my red swingline::

Hey Evil! 2 stitches, no pain (yet). she believes it is just pre-cancerous.

Lisa said...

Crackheads, tattooed women, bullies, people with blue shutters...what kind of people am I associating with around here?

Robin in Montana said...

People who eat lutefisk, people who like selfish bastard movies, people who have no comment about flaming jews, and so on. It's disgusting and wrong.

. said...

Don't forget to add "stapler thieves" to that list, mmmkay?

Deb said...

Hey, what's wrong with blue shutters?

::looking around nervously::

. said...

What is lutefisk?

Someone is stalking Lady Balls? Bring.It.On.
After a night of battling the Devil's minions, which are multitude....I am unbinding my hair, shaking it loose and letting it flow free.

Chris and Elisabeth - It made my "Elvira" heart sing, hearing you were not only able to get therapy and meds, but to also have healthy food and rent! And ppsssst! This vile group of Daisies are not Sugar Mamas ;-D They are your "Villllle Angels""" and better, yet, friends.

tumbleweedgirl said...
