Mulie - Sun dried tomatoes are great in spaghetti sauce, bruschetta, omelettes, scrambled eggs, and pizza topping. Can you tell I like them?
I did not mention either about Elizabeth answering me back right away when I emailed her (sorry) that Chris' card had crashed and that her hand hurts to use Daisy on her phone. A friend was going to try and fix the computer issues.
It really bothers me that the food cards, which were such a wonderful and much needed gift, do not work. I know that if I had sent that gift anonymously and then saw that they were not usable, I would do all that I could to make them usable. Boggles my mind that someone would give so specifically and so generously, and then just drop the ball.

I wanted to clarify my judgemental bitch comment yesterday. I do absolutely believe Chris and Elisabeth exist, and that the situation they are now in due to Chris's stroke is absolutely true, and nothing hoaxish about that, so just so that's understood. I found the Wii and giftcard thing to be offputting and something just not ringing true about it, and then what appeared to be a complete lack of communication. I was wrong in that they had been in contact with others, and I acknowledge that. For whatever all that's worth.

Ditto on what RiM said - they are not a hoax there is just something strange about sending something like that with no way to track. What if it never got there at all - that would be like flushing a couple hundred dollars down the toilet.
