Jill, I would just go once in a blue moon until I got wind of the whole Cease and Desist mess, so I've been checking it every night. I don't really care a lot about JM myself, but just find the whole thing, all of it, interesting right now. First time I've seen GM's name mentioned in ages, too.

I really do miss a good place to chat and snark about anything and everything and just don't like the forum format...I've hung around at mwoptalk some and it's just not as comfortable for me. And dammit, I *do miss snarking on some asses, too! That's why I tapped Shannon on the head and said, "Hey, can I have it back, please?" and thankfully, she didn't hurt me. :-D
Oh, and I'm kind of fond of JellO, too. I suspect we'll see him back from time to time.
I have too and dammit I am not gonna let some asshats come around and try to chase people off again.
I would like to see a revival as well. I'm glad to see others feel the same way, I was beginning to wonder if you had found some place else.

So, everyone knows, one reason I made the site meter private this time is so that if some old timers are still a little wary, they can post as a new name and be more comfortable...I hope that helps. In the end, the whole totally open thing wasn't so great after all. I'll delete posts this time, too, if I feel the need, but it's my decision and won't be often. I deleted some earlier because someone accidentally posted using a name they preferred not to use. I guess, in the end, I'll see how really taking ownership of this place this time around works out, as opposed to trying to let it run itself.
Thinking there are too many irritated that it doesnt have "proof" that JM lied. Personally I say change the title of the post and put it back.

Jill, that post had a couple of names accidentally left in it and damn, it was a ramble-y mess, too. It needed a lot more fine-tuning before it was posted and needed pulled until then. And really, the gist of it was that JM is a hypocrite, which everyone knows.

It was. I get that Violet was/is upset but in the end, this seems more like a personal deal. A lot of people have had snitched pictures reposted elsewhere. If you don't want that to happen, then *duh, don't post pictures. Common sense tells me that any picture I put out there could wind up anywhere and it's my own fault for supplying them if I don't like it. Now, I'll admit, I feel a little differently about pictures found on non-personal websites, like of people's houses and all. Google Earth type stuff. You can't control that and it's shitty.

We could fight about the fact I am watching a show called "Extreme Births" and one of the couples really was amazing. He was a woman who had been taking hormones to become a man, she was a man taking hormones to become a woman. There was supposed to be ZERO chance that either of them could in any way produce or conceive a baby....they did. And the woman, the man becoming a woman, was actually able to do the supplemental thing where it stimulates the breasts and was able to breast feed the baby.

As a result of the earthquake in Japan and the fact that one of their dams crumbled from the shaking....the Army Corp of Engineers have decided that maybe they should check out the dams that keep the Willamette Valley from being under water.
All the dams were built between 50 and 70 years ago...no earthquake provisions for the most part and most of the damn things havent even been checked out for 20 damn years.
According to this article there is really no danger because even if we have a big one off the coast it is too far to do any damage to the dams....um how about the fact that they are earth dams and if we get the constant deep earth shakes like they are still getting in Japan it could in fact become dangerous??

OH no Jill that is no good at all. Have you buy chance tried any pet spot cleaner? Maybe that will work better? And also after so many years they cant charge you for cleaning or replacing carpet as it is usually considered normal wear and tear.
I'll try the pet spot cleaner. The regular stuff usually works for cat vomit (ugh, that's a whole 'nother issue)
We have only been here a year and are hoping to move in July. The landlords suck and we need to find something with lower rent.

Speaking of hermaphrodites (were we not?) My friend's neighbor got a new puppy. This winter was a bad one, and they lost their two older dogs. They got a boy and named him Chester. So Bob notices Chester is "peeing out his ass". Yook the dog to the vet and it has a penis, a vagina, 2 testicles, and 2 ovaries. Since it is a non-working penis, it is considered more female than male. Isn't that crazy?

Jill, my mom uses some stuff she got on QVC for spot removing. She's got a cat with long butt fur and she "scoots" when she gets dingleberries. Um, the cat, not my mom. It works great on the skid marks...I'll find out what it is for you.
