So it has come to my attention that a 22 year old that was killed by a train night before last was in fact one of my nephews best friends. They hadnt released his name and now we know that it is his friend.
The story and video is here if you are interested:

Very small town...like less then 5K including the outlying areas.
If you could keep everyone impacted in your thoughts please.
I am glad that my nephew wasnt with his friends that night, btw that was my nephew who was interviewed. I mean these kids have been raised with those damn tracks. They know not to try to beat the Amtrak....those damn things go through town at 70mph regularly. Hoping my nephew is ok but in the email that I got from my SIL with the link he is upset but is doing ok right now.
I won't recopy my post, didn't realize a new thread went up. But check the end of the last one for my thoughts on the donation thing, MWOP and causes and Mulie-a little info about the meds question you asked last night...sorry I left you hanging.
Thanks guys.....sorry I started a new post and then posted that info.....I had just gotten the message from my SIL on FB....unfortunately it is attached to an email I rarely use so didnt know it was there till I checked that account.
Heather I am gonna go ahead and repost your comment from the last post...it is worthy :)

I haven't gotten caught up, as usual. But a few things I wanted to say before I forget.
As for the donations I made to Chris, I really hope that he received them. Just the same as I hope that Krista received hers. If they did then I'm good. Both cases turned out to be more than any of us realized, but I have to believe that they both needed the help. And I am on my own personal mission to "pay it forward", so as long as both people were honest in their need my help comes without strings of judgement attached. Now that I know about crimes that were committed it would make a difference probably, but I didn't know then so I can't, nor should any of us, beat ourselves up for trying to be good people.
As for MWOP, I'm only a lurker but I don't think he/she deserves to be raked over the coals either. That site is run pretty well for the amount of nonsense it could attract. And in fairness, Chris is not the only cause that MWOP has shared. There is also Bethany and Hannah's adoption-the babies with Down Syndrome in the Eastern Ukraine. Only mentioning that because it's a cause I specifically found there.
Lastly Mulie, you asked about my knowledge of Fentanyl and Versed. I'm sorry I left you hanging last night. If you have questions my husband and I are both nurses and we could try to figure out the answer. But most of my "hand's on" experience with the meds has been as a patient. I would guess in your situation that the Versed should exit your system quickly, it's so fast acting. But I'm not really familiar with what drugs are passed via breast milk. I'm sorry your doctor didn't listen. But hope you are feeling some relief. Chronic pain, is awful!
Shannon - Oh that is just awful. I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Thank you for Margaret's Bunnies.
Heather - very good post. I am still trying to wrap my head around all this Chris and Elisabeth mess. Like you said, it was given to help out, and I do hope that happened.
Lisa - Thank goodness it was an eye appointment (which I hope went well). I was worried you were painting your toenails and then the sparks would be flying :-D
I am disturbed to read about this latest drama and scam involving an ill person . Thank god I wasn't around for it! It seems to me that the people that probably could really have used the help for their ill loved ones, like Lee (who posted recently on the other thread ), IB, and Dawn (Taylor's mom), neither of them EVER asked for any help online or begged for anything. Each of these ladies are the epitome of grace under fire and I admire them greatly for their neverending dedication to their children. Each of them were a part of this community of friends, back from the other site. I just shake my head at the irony of a virtual stranger popping in and scamming for donations. I truly hope everyone gets paid back eventually.
And no one is allowed to leave for good and that's that. Anytime new people get together, a few toes will be stepped on and words mis-communicated. It's just all part of the process of getting to know one another. So, no leaving, dammit.
Shannon, that's a horrible thing to have happened.
Thanks for the info, Heather! I had done some research last night that led me to believe I could start nursing without too much worry. She was so pissed that she couldn't nurse and I think the formula was giving her tummy troubles. I am just so annoyed with the Docs office, I could spit. I still haven't decided weather I should call and complain.
Reposting since I forgot to refresh and see the new post - DUH!
Shannon - I LOVE One Crazy Summer, classic!!!
repost: I will say that I have read comments at MWOP in a long time. I can't stand disqus and the layout. But I do read the posts from time to time to see what is up.
When I did used to read the comments, I will say that the MWOP mod did a good job keeping the commentors on topic.
So, I guess I'm back-pedaling to say that in light of what could have been disqus issues (I know nothing about disqus) changing the names, I'm sorry to have jumped on the mod at MWOP.
On Interstate 5 between Sonoma and Santa Rosa we saw one of those adopt-a-road signs sponsored by "The Medical Marijuana Patients Union". I was like, they have a *union? And we laughed!
I'll have to google them, now that I think about it.
Hi Jill, Deb, Shannon, Lisa & everyone else - I just read/saw that someone is maybe impersonating (me) cupcake! Not sure why, I've got to be the most boring cupcake ever!! Anyway, thought I would stop by to say hello to you all.
Deb - Yes, so ready for football season to start. How about you?
Pet peeve of my fucking life- so you go to the movies, say it's opening night. Like a responsible adult, you get there in time for your whole group (two) to find decent seats together. 45 mins rolls by, and some bitch comes in with 5 people 10 minutes after the show starts and has the audacity to ask you to please move to make room. And when you give her the stink eye and say no, she says "it's a courtesy." Excuse me?!? A courtesy? how about quit being rude and show up on time?!!!

C'est La Vie - That exact situation happened to me once (years ago) and if it weren't for my two young (at the time) sons being there I would NOT have scooted down. I just felt like I was teaching them to not be rude since it was "no big deal". But if they hadn't been there, I would have stayed in my seat! What really got me was the broad at out theater demanded instead of politely asking. I felt like a wimp.
hahaha. Yeah it's hard. If it had been before the movie started, I probably would have too. It's just frustrating that they tried to inconvenience the whole theater .. nevermind the fact that there were seats in the front. sigh, some people.
Just saw that all of my comments from today at MWOP were deleted. They weren't bad at all... and it pisses me off that Tina thanked her for deleting the drama, CONSIDERING SHE'S THE ONE WHO STARTED IT.. rawr.
12 of my friend went to the Sex and The City Premeire...first one. We got there super early, and took two rows, 6 in each. Well, some of us would stay while others went to get snacks, etc. Well, this chick and her two friends walk up and ask if the seats next to me are taken...I say yeah, my friends are sitting there, she says, "well, tough, they aren't here I am sitting down" Oh no she didn't! I say, um, sweetie you need to move, they are just getting popcorn and are coming right back. She still says no...all while trying to get her friends to sit by her, who were very obviously mortified. I stand up...all 5'11" of myself and loom over her...full bitch on..."listen, you need to move, or I swear I will beat you down"(of course I won't, I am such a puss!) She then proceeds to yell for an usher, all freaked out! The usher comes over and at first is going to make us move! He thinks we are holding seats for someone that isn't there. I say, hell no, they are just getting freaking popcorn! So then he says to the bitch..."well, you gotta move" She still says no! He has to go and get the manager who finally convinces her to move by giving her free movie tickets! What the fuck? I say, you better be giving all 12 of us a few passes as well, or I am gonna raise hell with the corporation. We got em. And miss thang had to go sit in some row seats without her friends. hahaha
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Gawwwd sometimes blogger is a butt LOL
And reading on MWOP some....I didnt partake in ugliness....but I did find another interesting tidbit of info about Miss E...
http://www.readybb.com/nama_wespeakmethadone/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=9183
This is a site for people with drug addictions.
Shannon - don't ever apologize - that's what we're here for (())
Thanks Margaret....and I am glad you like your bunnies :)
Has anyone heard from Island baby lately? I have wondered how that sick little boy is doing?
Interesting link, Shannon. EL might find her advise to a pregnant woman on methadone interesting. Or just ignorant.
Hi Cupcake!!!!
Havent heard from IB as of late....I have been wondering about the little guy myself.
Cupcake!
I think Kristin is still in touch with IB, but Kristin hasn't been around either.
Shannon - Oh that is just awful. I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I just got word that my bil is back on US soil!!! He just finished his third tour in Afghanistan.

Wow Cupcake, long time no see! Are you going to any SD games soon?
Shannon - I'm so, so sorry to hear. How tragic.
Serial poster, signing out to watch the Ravens game. later!
"I just got word that my bil is back on US soil!!! He just finished his third tour in Afghanistan."
Jill, that's wonderful news!
Just got back from getting the hubby and running errands.
Jill that is AWESOME news I am so happy for you all.
Jill, it is wonderful that your bil has given so much. I am glad he is home safe.
Shannon, I am sorry for your nephew, your family, and the town. So sad that this happens on a fairly regular basis in towns across the US.
Love the fuzzy bunnies.
Jill - that is fantastic!! I hope he is home for good now. thank him for all of his service, from your pretend friend on the internets!
"Just got back from getting the hubby"
Bonded him out, did you? ;-)
Well you know Lisa there are a lot of things that come with being a loving wife LOL
Totally Random :-D
Driving home from the hospital this afternoon we passed a Motorcyclist. The back of his T-Shirt read:
"If you can see this the BITCH fell off"
I burst out laughing.
My husband said in disgust, "Who would wear a thing like that?"
I think he is the keeper :-D
Kaytie - that is funny!
On Interstate 5 between Sonoma and Santa Rosa we saw one of those adopt-a-road signs sponsored by "The Medical Marijuana Patients Union". I was like, they have a *union? And we laughed!
I'll have to google them, now that I think about it.
And now Liz's husband is a child molester? Gross. What kind of sick chick surrounds herself with this kind of evil? Just sick.
I have to throw up a new post for this new information that has been discovered on MWOP.
