well, i need to take AP's advice and bribe myself with breaks in between my work. i've just done some work, so now a quick break before dinner. dinner is going to be quick, easy and convenient. sick kids home from school turn into restless, wild crazies. combined with crazy blog people and i am worn out!

oh, and i posted this on emily's blog today and thought i'd share it here-a really great rescue center in haiti. i spent a lot of time looking back through the blog well before the earthquake. the poverty and malnutrition of the children is so sad. but they do share some before/after success pictures. i sent a monetary donation, but am also considering sending some medical supplies-we have so many stockpiled around here.

on another note, the OHIH thing...as a group i thought we all stuck together. a few people didn't and blew the place up. but it didn't appear to me as if we were all after each other. maybe it was different from the outside looking in? i assumed that there wasn't any type of activity there now? that the private setting is maybe for appearances?

i can't keep up with everyone's different sites or i'd be there-well accept for any BF groups. there are a few that were nice there and i have blogs and emails to keep in touch. but i've found i'm just not BF material. but i hope the other groups realize it's just a time constraint thing.

i will admit that in my silly hippie chick ways the decor here makes me smile. =)

Uh, no. Not doing that. Spent the night and next dayin the bathroom with a good friend once (and boy, was I a good friend for *that) who drank salt water in an effort to cure constipation caused by the Adkins (Atkins?) diet. It cured it alright and literally scared the shit out of her, she cramped so badly. We both missed work the next day (her brother was our boss) because she had to just sit there while I ran her drinks and held her hand, got her wet clothes for her head, etc. I. Will. Pass.
