A little girl I babysit is obsessed with Caillou. She's allowed 30 minutes of TV per day and that's all she will watch.
Caillou is the French word for pebble. However, there is an idiom that goes 'ne plus avoir un poil sur le caillou' and that is translated as 'to be bald as a coot'.
I also have no idea why a four year-old would be completely bald?!?
Texas has gotten a lot of snow, which is weird and for parts north of houston to get it twice, very odd.
Our crew (work) is in Amarillo right now dealing with snow. They are putting in a splashpark. Pretty much all this winter they have been trying to dodge the snow.
Sandy - Here, it has snowed almost every.day for two weeks straight (in 20 years, that's the first time I've seen that) and now it has been raining non-stop since yesterday morning.
Morning ladies! AP, what the hell were you doing up so late? Funny clip on this post!
Corinne, did you forget to hex the ice dancing Russians? Because they were really close to not being on the podium for the first time EVER. But they snagged the bronze, edging out an American pair. Ugh.
Did anybody besides me watch ice dancing? The Gold and Silver winners were soooo cute!
SW, I was talking to a friend and we lost track of time. By then, I had my second wind and was up. I'm paying for it today, having to be up early to do some running around.
The clip *is funny. It's courtesy of CK, who thought everyone would get a chuckle out of it and I agree!
I have not watched the Bachelor yet, Kristin. How did she seem crazy? I didn't think she seemed crazy before. Is she denying that she had an "inappropriate relationship" with a staffer?
RiM, are you done with your big job yet? We miss you and need you back here, hon!
SW- If all goes as planned, I'm going to see "Shutter Island" with a friend tomorrow (no way, I was going alone - I need someone to comfort me if I'm scared ;) ). I'll tell you what I thought of it!
Corinne, what do you think of Roman Polanski? I saw a review comparing his new movie to Shutter Island, and the reviewer likes Polanski's movie much better.
So Corinne, do you have other online groups of people that you chat with from other countries? We're your American Girls (plus a stray Canadian - Hi FT! - and I wish our Aussie would come back - Hi SG!). Do you have a group of, say, Brits that you chat with? ;-)
It doesn't appear so. Rozlyn even gets defensive and acts like a 3 year old and makes some comment about Chris Harrison hitting on the producers wife in New Zealand last season.
Chris also asks if the producer has visited her and she says yes, that he and his father stopped by. Chris says "so you've met the family?" and then asks if any of the other girls have had visits from producers.
It was amusing. Just the way that Rozlyn was so defensive and changing the subject.
Re: Roman Polanski: Eh. I liked the Pianist, Rosemary's baby and Chinatown but overall, I'm not a fan of his work. I don't know why they're comparing Scorcese to Polanski...
(I assume you were talking about Polanski's work as a director - I have very strong opinions on the man he is. None of which are flattering.)
No you didn't Kristin. I don't get to watch a lot of that stuff when my kids are up. Too much going on with homework, baths etc. Plus if I DVR'd everything that I wanted to watch, I'd never get to see it anyway.
Hi Kristin! I'm doing alright. Feeling a bit sad/melancholy today. We lost my great aunt two days ago. I called my grandma and grandpa yesterday (my grandma is her sister) and they won't make it to the funeral since my grandpa just came home after having a stroke. It was good to talk to him though since I never thought I would get to again.
I haven't watched much of the Olympics this year. I just don't watch a whole lot of TV period. I did, however, catch the Olympic games in SLC in 2002. It was so much fun! I'll never get that opportunity again I'm sure.
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of friends and family coming down with viruses recently. I remember Dawn saying that most of their business was cleaning up viruses from FB.
LOL Thanks Kristin....Only 3 left and I am done with accounting until I transfer in a year....hopefully I will get some serious work on my math done as well and be able to actually pass the damn class this term LOL
Hi! Now at work. Trying to get the little bit of work that I actually have to do, done.
Good luck with your accounting test Shannon. I would be a miserable accountant. I can barely keep my checkbook balanced. I've always admired numbers people.
So, not only do I get to avoid people from high school by not being on facebook, but I avoid viruses, too. Su-weet!
HAHAHAHA Lindsay....I can generally track myself pretty good...hopefully accounting will only be a small part of what I am doing when done with school.
I have a facebook account that I am always getting flack for not being on...My friend Daniel always yells at me for not being on there but I tell him I have a phone and see him every week anyway
Shannon - How many condom related comments have there been? I can't believe she tweeted a pic of that...I'm wondering if she even knows what those are used for.
My hubby has a fb account for a football team our son was on. I sometimes go lurk on it, and I had to find out my niece lost her first tooth through my sister's status. I was pissed. I told my sister, maybe she could call me and let me know. She knows my number.
Corinne - I did never read that book. I probably should. I tend to enjoy books way more than the movies they are made from. And no offense, but I am not surprised to hear you like numbers :)
Kristin- We're talking about 'The pianist' by Wladyslaw Szpilman. It is the memoir of a pianist who tells how he survived the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto as well as the Warsaw uprising during WWII.
It is really touching and definitely a must read. Roman Polanski made a movie out of it.
Oh, Corinne - thank you for directing me to that gem! I was trying so hard not to laugh so I didn't capture the attention of my co-workers and would then have to confess to not working!!! That was hilarious!
Oh, yeah. That was be*yond gross. I didn't really get the connection between Kevin and Bacon grease until I read the comments today. That is one clever person whoever runs that blog.
Hi Kristin! Hi Sandy and Lindsay! I'll find out by the end of the week, the woman that interviewed me said she would email the aptitude test to me and she hasn't yet, I am thinking of emailing her to remind her. And I haven't found out yet if flushing and running water is going to make me have to take the drug test over! and tomorrow i go for the professional integrity testing... and then I'll know for sure - but I'm sure I"ll get it - just have to wait to hear that they got all the results and when I will start. And um, i forgot to ask what the starting pay was!! duh!
Sandy I am dying for some pizza - do you have enough to share?
Our car broke down again last night on the way from seeing my neice... Jaye and Patti are out there right now working on it - needs a new power steering pump!
That sounds promising Karen. I would e-mail her just letting her know you haven't received it. I always phrase it something to the effect of can you verify you sent me the following, as I have not received it or similar.
Hmm good idea Kristin, I'm going to go find her email address and send her a quick email - and i think i'll let her know about the little mess up with the drug test, in case they get some notice back that i failed the first time, i'd like to let them know it was cause i flushed!! ha
Awww. Karen - that stinks about the car again!!! I get so tired of having cars break down. We just had to put a new transmission in one and less than 2 months later, we had to put an entire new engine in. At least it's nearly new, now!
Ours is a 95 Jeep, and we just put a radiator and water pump on, right before that it was front breaks, and when we first got it we needed a battery. And a few hoses and a belt. And we've only had it since August!! I hate vehicles too - I have another car, that was my dad's when he died, and I need to get it titled and registered and inspected here in Ohio so that when I start working I can drive that, and leave the Jeep home for Patti! But my car needs a starter I think! and not sure if it will pass the emissions testing!
Jaye and Patti are back from the parts store, gonna go see how things are going, will talk more later!!
Kristin thanks for the wording, I just emailed her!!
Hey, all...has anyone ever had tongue? I haven't and I'm making it for dinner tonight. What should I expect as far as the texture so that I can be prepared?
I am one to try anything once, maybe even twice so I believe I would try it if offered but I don't think I would buy it and try to make it myself, unless I knew I liked it.
What? Tongue? Why are you cooking cow's tongue? And if you've never cooked it, what on earth possessed you to buy it and cook it now? Will you be cooking tongue after we are married? 'Cause I'm really not on board with that!!
Wait . . . is this just a ploy to drive off your house guests? Because if so, it's a BRILLIANT idea! You could serve chitlins, (insert clever list of innard-related dishes here) etc.
Damn, y'all...so many anti-cow tongues folks here. I just like trying new things so I spotted cheeks and tongues, was intrigued and came home with a tongue to try out! Why not? I'm slow cooking it with veggies, like a pot roast and it smells wonderful! I would just like to be a bit prepared, texture-wise. I'm glad to know Kristin would at least try it with me!
Yes, SW, I am an experimental, fearless cook. You will adapt. I'll make it worth your while. ;-)
When I was little (under 5), my grandmother would take me to a restaurant that she worked at. The waiter would ask what I wanted - I said escargot. The waiter looked at my grandma and she said, that's what she wants. I still love escargot to this day!
Kristin, you and I would be fine eating together. I love trying new things and love most everything I try. Good for your grandmother for encouraging you!
Okay, for real, SW, you'd eat cow dick before cow tongue? That's just...well, weird. As for the houseguests, you? Are evil and mean. I appreciate that, though. ;-)
OMG! You have to peel it?? Are you serious?? That is just wrong! And thinking about the texture, blech! I wonder if it will be like placenta? **grins**
Hi Suz, don't misunderstand, I don't plan on ever eating any such things. Just saying that the tongue is pretty much the last part of a cow that I'd be willing to eat, if I had to prioritize all the gross parts of a cow a person could eat.
SW, I got ya, a person must have priorities. I do wonder how you would cook balls. I mean do you saute them? Or put them in the crock pot with the tongue.Or are they like oysters raw? OMG. I think I am making myself sick (as she turns green).
Shana said: "I'm imagining it tasting like a grass stain. =/" and sort of explains it for me.
I get your logic on tongue vs. penis, SW, but I'll take the grass stain over the semen stain flavor. Although, if nicely presented to me, I'd try penis or any other part.
AP, wonder if Robin liked em. I suppose if I were drunk enough, I might try anything. I did eat the worm in a bottle of Mezcal once.tasted like chicken..lol just kidding I was drunk who knows what it tasted like.
OT - I found my dive buddy. We are reading a book on sharks and there was a pic of a diver and a whale shark. He pointed out the diver and I asked if he wanted to dive.
He said "I wanna go under da wadder and see a whale shark mommeee, teese!"
Phew! Got home and ran an virus-helper-thingy and I think I fixed our computer! At least there are no more viagra and porn pop-ups (no pun intended).
How is everyone tonight? AP, how was the tongue? I used to live in a largely Hispanic popluated city and they would have these tongue sandwiches. The "meat" looked like shredded beef and was very tender. So I heard anyways, I would never try it!
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Morning!
Off to get ready!
Karen - congrats! I hope it works out!
Hi ladies :)

Good morning Corrine and Kristin.
Morning corinne!
LM isn't into Calilou. He pretty much watches what is on Nick Jr.
Hey Sandy!
Missed you last night!
How are things?
We're good and you?
Good - LM actually slept until 5:30-5:45 this morning - in his bed - 2 HUGE accomplishments, so I am pretty rested.
Anticipating snow today, which is CRAZY!
We got slammed with the heavy wet snow the night before and I wake up today to more.
I can only speak for myself but I'm so over Winter!
I am too. We just had a couple of days of near 40 degrees. I know that doesn't sound like much but in Chicago that's flip flop weather.
I need sunshine and heat. STAT. :D
We haven't had much sunshine here either. Things would be so much better with a little sunshine.
brrrrrr.....I also think that if we got rid of this damn cold weather, LM's cough might go away.
I hate it down here, it will be 70 one day and then 30 the next. Makes no friggin' sense.
SW - I watched part of it. I will have to look to see who took it.
Did you watch Bachelor? Rozlyn is CRAZY!
Morning, all!
SW, I was talking to a friend and we lost track of time. By then, I had my second wind and was up. I'm paying for it today, having to be up early to do some running around.
The clip *is funny. It's courtesy of CK, who thought everyone would get a chuckle out of it and I agree!

RiM, are you done with your big job yet? We miss you and need you back here, hon!
Morning AP!
Oh yes, she denies it and when the girls give her examples, she calls them all liars!
Yes, RiM - come out come out wherever you are!
I've seen that clip before, it is funny!
SW- ::bangs head on wall:: I forgot to voodoo hex the Russians!
I did remember to hex the French though.
I agree, the Canadians and Americans were great! Their medals are well deserved!
Morning AP!
AP- I <3 that video :P
SW- If all goes as planned, I'm going to see "Shutter Island" with a friend tomorrow (no way, I was going alone - I need someone to comfort me if I'm scared ;) ). I'll tell you what I thought of it!
Morning AP! Maybe you'll have time for a nice nap later to catch some extra zzz's.
Corinne, what do you think of Roman Polanski? I saw a review comparing his new movie to Shutter Island, and the reviewer likes Polanski's movie much better.
Kristin, you know Reality Steve says that Rozlyn did not do anything wrong. Could the other girls be making shit up?
"SW- ::bangs head on wall:: I forgot to voodoo hex the Russians!"
I'm partly to blame Corinne, I forgot to remind you to. :-(
So Corinne, do you have other online groups of people that you chat with from other countries? We're your American Girls (plus a stray Canadian - Hi FT! - and I wish our Aussie would come back - Hi SG!). Do you have a group of, say, Brits that you chat with? ;-)
note to everyone:
Do not put nailpolish while using your laptop.
My brand new laptop now has pink stains on it.

SW- Nope I just chat with you :)
I want to see a pic of this producer guy.
Okay, I googled and found this:
http://www.tmz.com/2010/01/14/the-bachelor-jake-pavelka-producer-ryan-callahan-whod-you-rather/
http://www.examiner.com/x-11850-Bachelorette-Examiner~y2010m1d14-Bachelor-producer-involved-with-Rozlyn-Papa-revealed-Ryan-Callahan-photos-released
Ryan Callahan - oh my!
Jake really is much better looking - and seeing Rozlyn, she could do so much better. maybe it is all just for TV.
I guess I broke it :(
No you didn't Kristin. I don't get to watch a lot of that stuff when my kids are up. Too much going on with homework, baths etc. Plus if I DVR'd everything that I wanted to watch, I'd never get to see it anyway.
Oh see now I killed it. lol
Hi ladies,
How is everyone today? I'm taking a break from chores.
Hey CPT! How the heck are you?
I was actually just thinking of e-mailing you.
I'm here Sandy. Typing up a work e-mail :)
Good morning! I have an admission. I like Caillou. And I loved The Pianist. What does that say about me???
Hope everyone is well.
And last night I didn't really mean "fray" as a negative term. It was just some rapid conversation - until I got in - that is. Then it died.
Hey Lindsay!
Hey all you snexy ladies.
How's everyone this morning?
Hey yourself!
WOW! CPT, J&R, Sandy and Lindsay (formally known as FF)!
Oh CPT! I am so very sorry! That sucks that they can't be there but glad that he is home and recovering.
Sorry to hear that CPT.
Did I use the word snexy in my sentence correctly? I kind of missed the day that word was born.
I believe you did! :)
That's too bad CPT.
Kristin - I love it. I'm kind of like the artist formerly known as Prince.
that is what I was thinking when I typed it!
Pretty soon, I'll just have some weird Egyptian symbol for my name.
And wear ass-less pants. Or probably not.
Booty Crack! :)
I had to go back and read the origin of snexy. Too funny.
Lindsay, ass-less pants, lol
Okay, I've got to get the kids ready for school and me out the door for work. I'll check back in later!
Have a good one Lindsay! *see ya around!
Whatcha been up to Kristin? Does LM have asthma now?
CPT- I'm so very sorry to hear about your great aunt :-(
Lindsay- As I said I'm not fan of Polanski BUT The Pianist was a good movie.
Have you read the book?
<---- Has used her voodoo powers too much and now has a headache.
Sorry to hear Corinne!
J&R - no, he has bronchiolitis - and this stupid weather is not making it better - cold, hot, cold! Ugghhhh! He just has a really bad cough.
I love the hockey stick btw! That is AWESOME!
Kristin-
My son is so excited about it! It's all he talks about.
Hope LM gets well soon.
I'm excited to watch the women skate tonight. Hope I don't fall asleep early.
I hear ya on that one! I have been trying to watch and end up falling asleep.
That is really cool!
Texas is not a big hockey state. I think I have gone to one or two of the Aero's games but Football and baseball - oh yeah!
I haven't watched much of the Olympics this year. I just don't watch a whole lot of TV period. I did, however, catch the Olympic games in SLC in 2002. It was so much fun! I'll never get that opportunity again I'm sure.
So last night our computer (at home) was attacked by viruses and porn ads. WTF?!
What are you looking up J&R :)
Are you on FB because there is something floating around there.
I'm completely innocent!
I wasn't on fb then, but was earlier that night.
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of friends and family coming down with viruses recently. I remember Dawn saying that most of their business was cleaning up viruses from FB.
Its quiet here today!
Oh there is someone here!!!!
I was going to post a bit ago but realized it had been so long since anyone had posted I must be all alone :)
I'm here. I forgot to take the nebulizer to school so I ran home, picked up some lunch, and dropped it off at his school.
Sometimes its nice to work 15 minutes from home!
That does make it much easier....if you were across town that would pose a bit of a challenge :)
I am sitting here waiting for the hubs to go to work today so I can start working on my accounting test....JOY hahahahaha
Accounting test...blah! Have fun with that and good luck!
Su-weet!
HAHAHAHAHAHA look at me be silly and post a comment for MWOP over here :)
I really need hubs to go to work already so I can do something useful with my day :)
Shannon - I was just typing - do you have too many windows open? lol
Dude - I was scrolling back trying to find out what you were talking about!!!
I hate numbers too, yet I was payroll for 5 years at one of the construction places I worked at.
Yes I have currently got 6 windows open...apparently that is too much for me this morning :)
Lemme just go ahead and delete that little opppps and pretend it never happened.
<---- <3 math.
Shannon- GOOD LUCK with your accounting test!!
Shannon - How many condom related comments have there been? I can't believe she tweeted a pic of that...I'm wondering if she even knows what those are used for.
I probably could go over there and look. lol
Kristin- Mck tweeted a pic of condoms?!?
My hubby has a fb account for a football team our son was on. I sometimes go lurk on it, and I had to find out my niece lost her first tooth through my sister's status. I was pissed. I told my sister, maybe she could call me and let me know. She knows my number.
Corinne - I did never read that book. I probably should. I tend to enjoy books way more than the movies they are made from. And no offense, but I am not surprised to hear you like numbers :)
Yup, when she was at the clinic to get shots.
I mentioned it yesterday (I thought)
She mentioned they were giving them away free.
http://twitpic.com/14s8ry
Why would she tweet that?
Oh, I know. She had never seen one up close before ;)
Lindsay- I'm not offended at all :)
The book is really good. I, too, tend to enjoy books much more than the movies made from them!
okay, I'm lost - what book are you guys talking about?
LOL there were only a few comments about the condoms....I wouldnt think that Mck would know a condom if it lodged in her throat :)
Kristin - We are talking about The Pianist. Sorry, I'm delayed - it was way early this morning when talking about Roman Polanski.
Kristin- We're talking about 'The pianist' by Wladyslaw Szpilman. It is the memoir of a pianist who tells how he survived the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto as well as the Warsaw uprising during WWII.
It is really touching and definitely a must read. Roman Polanski made a movie out of it.
ahh...gotcha! I get all confused!
Shannon - I agree! I wanted to tweet her back something snarky - asking if she knew what they were used for or maybe it was a sign.
Shannon- At the rate at which she and her husband reproduce, they definitely have no idea what a condom looks like :P
The new post on "under1000braincells" is super funny. And gross.
Oh, Corinne - thank you for directing me to that gem! I was trying so hard not to laugh so I didn't capture the attention of my co-workers and would then have to confess to not working!!! That was hilarious!
I still havent managed to get the url for under1000
http://under1000braincells.blogspot.com/
Lindsay- You are welcome ;)
I think the parodies on "under1000braincells" are often very good and hilarious.
YUCK that pet Kevin make me a little sick :)
Thanks for the link Kristin I finally got it bookmarked
Ok hubs is finally off to work for the day so I am off to work on my test...I will be around :)
good luck shannon!
Kevin the pet looks...um...gross! lol I want to thank you guys for that link. That is way too funny.
Yeah, Sandy, to fully understand *how gross it is, you have to check out the under1000per month site. Ugh!
Oh I have Lindsay...It's my morning read! Did you see the comment about the breastmilk cheese? Gak!
Oh, yeah. That was be*yond gross. I didn't really get the connection between Kevin and Bacon grease until I read the comments today. That is one clever person whoever runs that blog.
Hi everyone - afternoon and i'm online... that never happens! anyone here in the afternoons?
Hey Karen! I'm here!
When will you find out about the JOB?
Hey Karen! It's kinda slow this afternooon. Apparently everyone besides me has a life to attend to!
Oh, everyone besides me and Kristin :p
I'm here...can't type and eat pizza at the same time. lol
But I can chew gum and walk, ha!
Karen, it's just me and the pizza (the frozen kind) and I have plenty. Pepperoni actually.
I'll take frozen pizza... although I'd prefer some "real" pizza! But... beggars can't be choosers right?
That sounds promising Karen. I would e-mail her just letting her know you haven't received it. I always phrase it something to the effect of can you verify you sent me the following, as I have not received it or similar.
Sucks about the car though.
Hope it all works out.
Hmm good idea Kristin, I'm going to go find her email address and send her a quick email - and i think i'll let her know about the little mess up with the drug test, in case they get some notice back that i failed the first time, i'd like to let them know it was cause i flushed!! ha

Kristin thanks for the wording, I just emailed her!!
Hello girls =0) Thought I would pop over & say hi!
Good Luck Karen & happy belated birthday!
Hey Shana! How are you doing?
You have mail :)
Hey Kristin! Going to check now!
Funny video CK.
Hey Kristin. Did you get any snow today? We did, but it didn't stick. It's just super cold.
no snow yet - 37 degrees right now.
That's too freaking cold for south TX!
Right - we are supposed to get snow tonight.
Its raining right now! :(
Hey, all...has anyone ever had tongue? I haven't and I'm making it for dinner tonight. What should I expect as far as the texture so that I can be prepared?
Oh, *gawd, I just reread that.
Cow tongue. I'm cooking a cow's tongue...lol.
Everyone's mind went promptly to the gutter, didn't it?
AP - I read that so very wrong...lol!
I was gonna say, yeah, I've had tongue but no, I have not eaten tongue.
ummmm...can I ask why you are eating tongue? I can understand trying it if someone else had it but to cook as a choice..not so much!
AP, that's just ewwww!
And btw, can't help you with that either.
I am one to try anything once, maybe even twice so I believe I would try it if offered but I don't think I would buy it and try to make it myself, unless I knew I liked it.
My thought would be rough and chewy.
What?
That is brilliant!
How about pigs feet?
Perfect, Kristin!
I'll make it worth your while. ;-)
I like pig's feet when they're pickled. Hmph. And they're Jewish, so it would be very wrong of me to given them a cloven hoof.
Yes AP I would try it.
When I was little (under 5), my grandmother would take me to a restaurant that she worked at. The waiter would ask what I wanted - I said escargot. The waiter looked at my grandma and she said, that's what she wants. I still love escargot to this day!
Sorry, AP. I would eat a cow's d*ck before I'd eat his tongue. It's just oogy.
And I would soooo serve them pork at every meal. I have a great easy pasta sauce recipe with italian sausage in it if you're interested!
"'Spotted cheeks and tongues'
would make a decent haiku,"
she thought, and moved on.
Just ewww and I can eat some funky stuff.
I appreciate that, though. ;-)
Sandy, they have taste buds on them. *evil look*
Love the haiku. The tongue was spotted, so you know. And um, it's getting huge in the pot. I may have a problem. I did not know it would expand.
"I did not know it would expand."
That's what she said.
"Sandy, they have taste buds on them."
OMG I. Can't. Handle. It.
Okay that's just gross. I have this really bad visual of an expanding taste bud cow tongue in a crockpot.
I am cracking up laughing and I have people at my desk!
Ok, seriously, blech! Eww, gag & yucky!
That's all =0)
alright ladies, I'm out!
I hope it doesn't get bigger AP :P
Let us know if the taste bud cow tongue was any good. Maybe I'll get one and scare the crap out of my kids with it. I'm mean like that! lol
Hey Shana, it's good to see you here today! I've hoped you would join us more often.
::thinking Sandy's kids will be in therapy some day over her brandishing a cow tongue at them::
BD, I know you're not here right now, but have you ever/would you ever cook tongue?
Ole: How about coming to our house? We're having tongue for dinner.
Lena: No, I vould never eat anyting dat has been in a cow's mouth. I prefer a nice fresh egg.
Funky spelling is intentional.
SW, they probably already need it. lol
CK, cracked me up! Cute!
That's a good one CK.
"Ok, seriously, blech! Eww, gag & yucky!"
Ha! Didja know you have to cut the outside skin off when it's done? Of course, that will remove the tastebuds, too.
I love it AP. The cow will not be able to taste that you are tasting it.
Okay, AP, I've been analyzing why I'd rather eat cow penis than cow tongue. Here's how the dialogue in my head went:
Tongue piercings gross me out. Penis piercings do not. Why is that?
Okay. I have a tongue, and I like my tongue.
I do not have a penis, and no longer have any particular regard for penises.
Stands to reason I'd be less bothered by biting into a penis than a tongue.
Makes perfect sense to me.
That's because you don't want it tasting you back! Ha!
It's still icky and what Shana said.
"Didja know you have to cut the outside skin off when it's done? Of course, that will remove the tastebuds, too."
Now you're just being mean.
OMG! You have to peel it?? Are you serious?? That is just wrong! And thinking about the texture, blech! I wonder if it will be like placenta? **grins**
Afternoon all!
OMG, Yuck. I would not eat either of these cow parts. Nor balls, or rocky mountain oysters as I think they are called.
Shana, it will totally be like placenta. But grosser, if that's possible.
Hi Suz, don't misunderstand, I don't plan on ever eating any such things. Just saying that the tongue is pretty much the last part of a cow that I'd be willing to eat, if I had to prioritize all the gross parts of a cow a person could eat.
I'm imagining it tasting like a grass stain. =/
SW, I got ya, a person must have priorities. I do wonder how you would cook balls. I mean do you saute them? Or put them in the crock pot with the tongue.Or are they like oysters raw? OMG. I think I am making myself sick (as she turns green).
I just picture the cow chewing its cud and all that drippy goo. Lord knows what it licked! Just ewww.
Heh, heh...you said saute balls, heh, heh.
I just got an email from Kraft Kitchen...wonder if there are any recipes for cow tongue and balls!
Shana said: "I'm imagining it tasting like a grass stain. =/" and sort of explains it for me.
I get your logic on tongue vs. penis, SW, but I'll take the grass stain over the semen stain flavor. Although, if nicely presented to me, I'd try penis or any other part.
By the way, I know for a fact Robin's had balls. :-D
AP, wonder if Robin liked em. I suppose if I were drunk enough, I might try anything. I did eat the worm in a bottle of Mezcal once.tasted like chicken..lol just kidding I was drunk who knows what it tasted like.
Suz, I've never known anyone to actually eat it. I'm very impressed! Mmmm, doesn't tequila sound good right now?
Oh yeah love me that tequila. I am sure it was a dare to eat it, sounds like a drunk thing to do. It really is a hazy memory and I know why.
Suz ya big lush :)
If I was presented with penis and tongue, I would taste tongue first.
Not sure why but eating penis just sounds more disgusting to me.
Oh, and it is snowing here.
Linds, you know it!
Ya know - I've had some good times with the tequila, but it never did include eating the worm. I'm not sure I can keep up with you!
Make it the last shot and swallow it and pass out..
Yuck, Yuck, Eww... I see i picked a great time to pop in and read here. All i can see is that cow licking it's snot off it's nose.
Oh and i was drunk enough once to eat the worm.
:::walking into a tongue vs. penis eating debate...walking out:::
Really, I was just doing a quick catch-up before going to prepare my non-swelling cow parts for dinner!
BBL!
And, AP, I want a full review of your tongue tasting later tonight!
LOL Bella kinda feeling like you on that one. SIGH go from 5 hours of accounting and math to tongue and penis.
Hi Bella, Hi Shannon.
I am headed home, I too am curious about AP's review on the beef tongue.
Hi Trudy, Glad I am not the only one!
bbl
I too want to know all about the tongue :)
OT - I found my dive buddy. We are reading a book on sharks and there was a pic of a diver and a whale shark. He pointed out the diver and I asked if he wanted to dive.
He said "I wanna go under da wadder and see a whale shark mommeee, teese!"
That's my boy!
Hi Suz....bye Suz
AP I cant wait to hear how your swollen oral member turns out.
Hey Suz, Trudy, Bella, shannon...and whoever else I may have missed!
Going to feed the fam. Hope everyone has a great evening =0)
see ya Shana!
Shannon...swollen oral member, hehe.
Hey Bella!
Sandy I couldnt help myself....Hell after the way that AP announced she was making tongue for dinner could you?
Honestly, now I'm kind of curious as to how it tastes.

Yes, you said this...
