I'll be doing 11am and 6pm auto-posts again, so someone please remember and announce it. Thanks!

I cheated. I was saying goodbye and saw the new post comment. :o)

Have a great night everyone!

Oopsie Daisy said...

LOL! I think that's the first "first" we've ever had called.

Tara. said...

I did it just to be annoying. :D

OK, I'm really going now.

'Night, Tara! Sleep well.

Karen, can you or someone else tell me how to find this Mahjongg y'all are playing on FB?

Warning - you can be addicted fast to this game!!

Lisa said...

Thanks, Karen! Going there now...

I added Margaret's info onto this post so we can easily find where to send the info on items we're donating for Chris' auction. It doesn't have to be crafty - I'm donating a bracelet I bought as a gift and never gave.

Goodnight, y'all.

Hello, Ladies.

I make these as gifts for anyone I know that has a baby:

http://s102.photobucket.com/albums/m90/rriechman/?action=view&current=diaperwreath3.jpg

It's a diaper wreath. I promise they are very nice. Especially to hang on the hospital door when Mom gives birth.

They also make great nursery decorations.

I would happily offer a diaper wreath up for auction, and I'd pay for shipping for anyone who won the bid.

I will make a wreath to order for anyone who wins the bid.

One like the one in the picture I would sell for around $35, and if you've ever bought stuff for a baby, you'll know I make almost nothing on these wreaths.

But I'd be honored to submit one as an auction item. Please someone let me know?

Morning Daisies.

Up early to frost Abby, but my frosting is darn near frozen from being in the fridge. I am debating just making a couple more batches and working with that later, because I am sure I will need more between the cupcakes and cake.

Going to go catch up..

Hey. I needed the saucepan and cutting board to make dinner tonight so I'm here as is. Just in a quiet kind of way.

SG- I think we over the mutiny, so you should be safe using your kitchen items *as kitchen items again. I retired the Cuisinart ninja blade yesterday.

CK- Would be nice if Unisom worked for morning sickness, but it sure didn't touch mine the whole first 5 months I was pregnant. Good thing I found Daisy after that because you would have gotten real sick of hearing about my days then... I am taking it now to sleep through the itchiness. I have this thing about taking medicine (any) that I don't need, so I really hate taking it, but I *have to sleep. I am completely ineffective as a mother/human when I am getting that little sleep. Plus I want to get rid of this darn cold as quickly as possible.

FYI: My toes are "boke!" (broke) because they are in my sock, apparently. My daughter is showing much concern for this situation. :D

Morning ladies - I slept well. LM climbed into bed at 2:00 and I let him stay. He woke up around 8:00, I was dozing b/w 6 - 8 but all is good.

Still catching up.

Morning all!

Once again my morning has started with giggles over the convo here last night. Thank you to those contributing.

Taiya,
My PG niece is the one who gives her little girls Benadryl to get them to go to sleep at night.

Put she pretends she's the perfect, Godly, SAHM!

I was tempted to add a comment to her FB status about the Unisom helping her feel better - something along the lines of:

"is the Unisom for you or the girls?"

But that would sort of seal the deal - she already knows I have issues with her.

Put = But

CK, I give my 4 year old melatonin at night, because that kid just does not want to fall asleep. Benadryl just makes him hyper. I never tried giving it to him to sleep, but I gave it to him when he had a reaction to something and holy energy, Batman!

PJ said...

Wow, Mulie! He's a pharmaceutical rebel!

Nope, her girls get sleepy from the Ben.

They are pretty normal girls and would fall asleep if she was consistent with discipline.

She's just too anxious to go watch her R rated DVDs (don't know how she justifies that as an ultra fundamental previously Menonite conservative Christian) to take the time to help them learn how to comfort and settle themselves.

My judgement is showing.....

Hi all!

CK - You *should have commented that on your niece's status! ;-D

Kristin - Glad to hear you slept well. (((hugs)))

Muliebrity said...

We don't give it to him every night, but he always wants up to lay with him when he falls asleep, and if you even shift your weight, he pops awake. He is rather annoying. We don't have the same problem with #2 son, just needy #1.

Benedryl makes R hyper too. Mom says I was the same way as a child.

PJ said...

Corinne - HI! I now love Colbie Caillat.

Anonymous said...

Good morning :) It smells of carpet cleaner and damp doggie doo-doo in here. I think I have another date with the steam cleaner later. All this thanks to Oz for eating a quarter pound of raw ground beef off the counter two days ago.

CK, if you like Colibe Caillat, you would like Feist.

Lisa said...

Morning, all!

SG, it's okay to be quiet. How are you, though? *forces her to speak more*

R2, those wreaths are really cute. Anyone could get one and have it on hand, just in case, if they have a lot of friends in baby-making mode.

Kristin, I'm glad you got some good rest. That alone make make you feel some better.

CK - I love her music too! 'Bubbly' and 'Lucky'(feat. Jason Mraz) were big hits here.

Lisa said...

Annnnd, I've already started with the typos. Jeeeez. Also, I've got mail from a couple here and Yahoo isn't loading mail for me right now, so know I'm not ignoring y'all.

Hi AP! Hi Bella!

Lisa said...

Hi, Corinne! How are you today?

Margaret, I forgot to tell you I think it's a good idea to not link the auction blog back to us, too. Have you given any thought to moderating comments so no wise-ass can mention us in the comments, as well?

Lisa said...

Karen, I might hate you a little for actually giving me that mahjongg link.

Anonymous said...

AP - I'm doing great! A friend and I went to have our nails done this morning and then lunch (the goal was actually to gossip ;-D). Then I went to buy perfume - I wanted 'light blue' but they'd just sold their last bottle - I tried something new : PureDKNY, it smells fab!

That's probably more than you asked for. But, yes, I'm doing very well.

As far as little Belgium goes, we're still in the midst of the worst crisis ever but I'm not holding my breath for them to come up with a solution :-D

How are you?

PJ said...

Corinne - sounds like a absolutely lovely day!

Anonymous said...

CK - It is a lovely day, indeed! Do you have any plans for today?

Morning, all!

R2, those wreaths are adorable; I'd bid on one for one of the 87 baby showers I've felt compelled to throw this May.

My sister's best friend, who lived with my family for years (she's kind of my sister by default), was super-psyched to do a sprinkle for my sister, so I have her help with guest list, and I'll bet she'd chip in for food and decor (or declare one of those as her job). All this, and planning her own wedding in October, as well. She's a good egg. ;)

Morning Taiya, SG, Jill, Kristin, CK, Mulie, Corinne, Bella and AP (whew!! think I got ya all) lol
Just reading the news here and came across this great article. Remember the Archie comics?? I loved them as a kid....didn't know they were still around.

I think Abby is going to give me carpal tunnel.

Big doings up town. Fire trucks are up blocking the road at the 4 corners here. I thought about walking down there, but that is too much like exercise. I am sure I can go down there and get the gossip from one the businesses on one of the corners. There are 2 gas stations, a convenience store, and a craft shop all right there. Might be one of them on fire, actually. I have no idea.

CK- wonderful, drugging your kids to get them to sleep every night. (Mulie- that is *so* not directed at you) Benadryl make DD and I both hyper at first, but then we crash. She has only had it a couple of times for rashes.

I don't like taking unisom because it makes me so drowsy I can barely get up with DD at night, but it is better than being insane mommy all day with her. Plus, Matt is great about getting up with her if I *really need him to. I just don't like asking him on nights when he has to work.

I am taking a break and eating a nutritious and healthy snack of Nacho Cheese Doritos while I wait for my hands to uncurl.

Corinne,
Powerpoint 4 of 5 - plus the elusive search for music for weeks 3 and 4.

Making chicken chili and dad is coming for dinner.

Stepped away for a bagel with veggie cream cheese.

Hi everyone!

Hm, there is a little Yorkie running around my house, all dirty and scraggly, but it is wearing a collar. We've been outside about 5 times, trying to coax it close enough to grab it, but it keeps running in spastic circles and barking. I can't figure out how to catch it.

Shannon said...

I am sure you have already tried but what about some delicious smelling food?

twirldawg said...

Pssst, there is a new post up

T@iy@ said...

Abby is done except for the pupils and the sides. I have to make more white and I am waiting on the black coloring that Matt and DD are picking up in town for me. Have to work on cupcakes in a minute. In the home stretch! Woot.

Of course, the party is at a park and it is chilly, overcast, and rainy today. Not sure how that is going to work.
