Oh, AP, meant to say. Keep us updated on Gina. I know you will. The vet sounds like a really good one. I had a cat that someone poisoned with antifreeze in the neighborhood (I think). Anyway, the sweet vet met me at the office on a Sat. night b/c at that point there was nothing we could do but put her to sleep. I was so upset and they were so sweet. Sent us a card the next week. Daughter was only 8 or so I think but she still remembers them sending a card.

And I hope your mom gets straightened out with her eye. Just to want to be able to see to read a book, etc. and not be able to... how awful!

Thanks Tara! I was gonna put a real pic of myself but kind of scared of crazies now. LOL.... just kidding, kinda. God knows I've got plenty of skeletons in the 'ol closet but I figure so does everybody else. :shrugs: I'm like AP, I am who I am and that's usually pretty boring.

It's just all so old, Shannon. It just doesn't make any sense why they keep tabs on everyone still. Really creepy.

Ok, Blogger must be getting a midnight snack.

I'm going back to work for a little while. Y'all have a good night!

Shannon, that didn't come out the way I meant it. I wasn't directing the "it's old" to you, just meant it's all old news, which is why I don't really get it. LOL

bj: Yeah, I understand. That's why my blog is closed now and no picture for me either.

It really is Tara....I mean seriously any dirt they can get on most of the people here they either keep it to themselves or realize that it is a public blog and there are assholes reading. It is just odd compulsive obsession.

"And I am glad too that the vet is going to go with your gut....Gina has had a good life."

Thanks, Shannon. She has, especially considering she's not an attractive cat and that she was going to be put down due to some medical issues that I took on so the sisters could stay together. She and Ginger have been literally one big wad of cat, attached at the hip, until the last few months. 16 solid years. Tonight I guess it really hit home when Ginger was in my lap and Gina tried to get in and cuddle with her. Ginger sniffed around and abruptly left. That's why I let her snuggle on me and why I know it's time, if I get my nerve up. Dumb confession here - I've had numerous animals put down for others but I've never had to do it for one of my own where I had to actually take them somewhere to have it done. My mom has always done it for me. :-X

Sleep well! I'm going to stay up and watch AI on my DVR.

AP I think it is one of the worst decisions a pet owner ever has to make. 16 years is a pretty darn good long life for a cat and if you hadnt have been willing to do what you did with her she would have had a much shorter one.

I am not even at the point where I have to seriously think about this subject yet but I know that sometime sooner then I want it to be Buzz will need me to do this for him. I cry when I think about it.

I didnt take it in a wrong way I knew what you meant Tara :)

AP, I really love the look here, I don't think I've ever said so. It makes me so happy, especially sweet little Daisy up there. ♥

Oh good, Shannon. After I hit submit, I was upset that my thoughts and my fingers didn't work well together.

Hey it happens :)

Well it is 10 so I probably should think about bed now...stupid 6:30am

Laptop battery is dying, so time to put it away to juice it up! Goodnight all!

That probably didn't sound right what I said about I've got skeletons and I figure everyone else does, too. When I re-read it sounded like kind of like, "I'm a goodie, goodie, I've got skeletons, but so do you." Ha! I just meant we're all human. If Fruitie can find something on me, more power to her. I seriously doubt it's anything that hasn't already been shared somewhere by me already though.

There's no making any sense of someone like that anyway. I guess he/she/it (?) is trying to chastise us for what we post here and on MWOP? Both are public freakin' blogs.

Whatever. Oh well, I'm really going to work now. I'll be back tomorrow sportin' my vile muffin top with the rest of y'all. =)

Tara, thank you...the dumbest things can make me smile and feel all emotional and you saying you like how it looks here did it. Goodnight, I'm glad you're here and it's "stuck" this time. :-)

Shannon, it *is hard. Since I've never had to do it for one of my own before and since my mommy seems to think I need to do this one on my own, I'm really rethinking getting more after all these are gone. Tucker and Beatrice are 2 and 5 respectively so hopefully I'll have them for many more years but when the time comes, it's going to be as hard as Ginger will be soon. Gina, I can handle, I think. Ginger? Not so much. Ugh.

One last thing, AP check your email! I'm only announcing it because mine gets lost in your Spam folder sometimes.

Good night for real!

I will never catch up! I thought I was almost caught up - clicked to the new post and there are 216 messages! I read this last 16 and will go back and read the 200 and everyone will be in bed! I'm boring tonight anyway - I had no babies today and none of my kids here, so we cleaned really really good... Patti is finally feeling better, this has been going on with her since before Easter, so she helped me clean the entire house, top to bottom - now tomorrow we'll have Tay but thats ok - I miss him! I love the Crafts for Chris and am posting it on my facebook page and anywhere else I can think of... I hope it makes ALOT ALOT of money for Chris!!!

AP I'm sorry about having to make the decision about Ginger! We had 5 cats in NY - we found homes for 4 of them before we moved, like the day before we moved! but one of them, which happened to be my favorite, woke up one morning not walking right, he kinda drug his back 2 feet, couldn't figure out why - he seemed fine and was purring otherwise, so we put him in the bathroom and shut him in for the day - to keep him away from the other cats and 2 dogs picking on him, and that happened to be the day that I was flying to Ohio to visit with my kids, so we worked, then Patti took me to the airport, I was at the airport in NY still, my flight was delayed and I was in line to find out how much longer til we were leaving, and my phone rang, Patti had just gotten home, went in the bathroom to check on Geo- and he was dead .... she was freaking out... I couldn't do anything to help - it was horrible! This is one reason that we have no pets in Ohio - all my kids have pets, and we love them... but in my house, all that hair, and cat litter, and taking the dogs out and making sure you aren't gone too long to let them out - yea - I'm done with all of that!! But I feel bad for your decision!!

Ok off to catch up!

I got it, Tara!

I'm off to make us a new post and then I'm out of here, too. Sweet dreams, Daisies!
