seeee and I just say Hi and you post a new post! Heellp Ap is plotting against me *grabs her own cutting board, writes ransom note*

-I've kidnapped myself, if I don't recieve 2 hershey bars by tomorrow you'll never see me again.-

Oh, and I play world of warcraft >.> So now we all know I'm a true nerd.

Shannon said...

LOL Kay my husband and I are always talking about what nerds we are....and it is pretty funny with him because how many "tough guys" do you know that can admit they are game nerds :)

Life full of bRATS said...

I've been better shannon, but that's how life goes. My healths been a mess and I've not felt up to doing much, I'm just trying to catch up. But as of this moment I'm in heaven, probably because I'm in bed sipping passion tea lemonade. Always a good way to start a day. Kids are great, even if my daughter has scared me to death.

-Day after easter, i go, "Hey leslie, did you like that the easter bunny got you?" In response my daughter got up on the couch, sat down very serious, grabbed my face with her hands and said "Mama, I think the easter bunnys a figment of yur imagination"

She's 5, and she's already figured out I'm crazy! It was hilarious and oddly mature, she was even trying to break it to me all sweet! I'm a bit scared of her getting any older. Ryan and Miranda are happy as can be, it's warming up and we spend as much time as we can outdoors and stuffz. Can't wait to have an entire summer to play with them, I feel like preschool/homeschooling sorta cuts into the things we'd like to do together during the day, but schools always first. (And the smalls love preschool)

Kay, hi! It's always so good to see you and I'll happily toss you Hershey bars to keep you around. ;-) Hey, how old are your kids? I'm not sure I've ever known that.

Sandy, thanks for the post reminder - I'd completely forgotten.

4,5, and 11 Ap ;)

Lisa said...

Kay, fun ages! The Easter Bunny thing was adorable.

Alrighty, y'all be good. I'm going to get some things done and maybe even shower.

kristin said...

have a good one AP!

I need to leave soon to go pick up sandwiches for this shin dig soon!

I'm here, lurking from work.

Hi Kay and SG :)

Ginger said...

Morning All, today is the day I find out if I get the lay off or if there is another job in the state for me. Talk about nervous nellie.
Hello Kay, I am a bit new here..I am a WoW'r as well but takin a break to do some DDO for a bit. :)

KaytieJ said...

Morning Daisies!
Good to see you Kay! Loved your daughter's Easter Bunny statement. That is so cute!

Kristin - Hang in there sweetie! (((())))

Corinne - Scary what your government and your country are facing. If that were happening here and the country was looking at splitting I would be a nervous wreck.

AP - Thank you for the explanation. There are several of us here (not counting) that have been confused with all the acronyms flying around.

Elisabeth - Sorry to disappoint. You do not get a one way ticket to hell :-D You and your mom and your dh have pulled together so much to help Chris. Every once in awhile it is going to fall apart. Slap some butter and jam on that homemade bread and I hope your day is better.

Margo said...

Eek - just got the einvite reminder that we have a Chuck-e-Cheese birthday this weekend. Pass the valium!

kristin said...

margaret - I read that as Eeq got an e-invite for chuck E. Cheese - and I was thinking, wow - she isn't even born and already being invited to parties :)

KaytieJ said...

Sandy! ROFLOL! :::white trash laptop:::
The visual of a laptop with cupholders and gummed up with pork rinds is priceless!
(Hope you can get your back space button fixed soon, though)

SG - Welcome! You were polite and respectful and I had to read it twice to see why you thought it would not be. Missed it.
You are in Australia? Awesome! I was fortunate enough to visit Melbourne and loved the people there. And seeing kangaroos running through horse fields blew my mind!

KaytieJ said...

Ginger - Biting fingernails for you (mine not yours). Wishing you well!

Margaret - UGH! Can you suddenly leave town?
On the Crafts 4 Chris Auction, I am horrid with crafts and my soap making stuff has STILL not shown up. May I sponsor something(s) of yours? Your idea of leaving it up for a week is a good one since all have different schedules.

Margo said...

Interuterine Chuck-e-Cheese is where it's at.

I watched a show the other day on how many lotter winners blow it all. I'd have a hard time blowing that kind of money. Of course at the beginning I'd probably go wild traveling but I'd probably give more money away than I would keep. I have no real desire for "stuff" - I guess I'm lucky like that.

Anonymous said...

Kristin - " I read that as Eeq got an e-invite for chuck E. Cheese - and I was thinking, wow - she isn't even born and already being invited to parties :)"

LOL :-D

Ginger - I hope there is another job for you. ::keeping my fingers crossed::

Kay - Your daughter is smart. And funny :)

Kaytie - I'm a little nervous, yes, but I (and by 'I', I mean every Belgian citizen ;-D) saw it coming. The political situation's been a mess since, approximately, the end of WWII here. Actually, we end up laughing at it - Belgians are famous for their self-deprecating humor ;-D

Ginger said...

Kaytie-lol thanks hon..my nails are already bitten short :P so I'm glad your nibblin on yours

Where can I find the info on the Crafts 4 Chris auction? I was away from PC all day yesterday so not up on it.

Ginger said...

Thanks Corinne, they say there is a spot for everyone then we all get letters saying we need to be prepared for the possibility of no more job. Each day something new..that is how the state works though...never give a straight answer and if they do the answer will change in 5 minutes lol

Margo said...

Hi Ginger - I'll put the Crafts for Chris blog up next week or as soon as everyone sends me pics of their donations. If you want to donate something just send me a pic of it via e-mail shimargar at aol and also let me know the approx dollar value. Once the blog goes up it would be great if you would e-mail, tweet, FB, put it on your blog.

A question for the Daisies - I purposely have not put anything on it about Oopsie since RiM said something yesterday about her brother not linking back to read our madness (paraphrased). Is that ok with everyone?

KJ - you can certainly sponsor one of my charms or we can just wait and see when you get your soap stuff?

Ginger said...

Margaret, all I do is Digital scrap-booking now that I can't crochet or knit anymore..would that work? I have sold a few pages..but wouldn't know how to price for an auction.

Erin said...

Kristin- the girls lunch boxes just came, and they are SO cute! I will take a pic of them later. Janey is jumping up and down, saying 'I can't wait til snack on Monday!' Thank you so much for sending that email! You have made their day.

KaytieJ said...

Ginger - On the "Hurry Up and Wait and Worry" State stuff. Oh yes! Heck, I do not work for them but the State Regulations change so much (or Health Department specifically), makes my head spin. Let us know when you can. ((()))

Margaret - I'll sponsor a charm, please. And thank you!

Really Frugal said...

I would like to participate in the auction because I do a lot of craft stuff, but I don't take pictures or know how to use them online (hence my avatar). Can I just describe something, like a matching hat, scarf and mittens for child and American Girl doll in your choice of colors? Sorry I'm so lame.

What are these wondrous lunchboxes?

Ginger, why can't you knit or crochet? That would make me sad.

Ginger said...

I will Kaytie, lol on Health dept..we have to deal with them as well as state..double rules and regs that at times go against each othe..oy vey what a headache that can be
RF-I have severe carpal tunnel...lemme tell ya looking at all my supplies makes me sad when I think of all I used to do

kristin said...

Okay - I have some porcelain dolls that are just sitting in storage.

I will auction one of those b/c I need to e-bay or craigslist 'em.

Do you want a pic of each and they can choose which one or do you want me to just choose which one to auction?

and ummm...I think I miseed it - where are we e-mailing the info?

Also, I am not sure when I will be able to get to storage with my current situation. :)

Really Frugal said...

Ginger, sorry to hear that. Have you, or will you, have surgery? My husband had surgery several years ago and it went very well. No trouble since.

Ginger said...

RF- I don't do well being put under and they said I had 50/50 of it even working so at this point not gonna worry about.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Morning, all.

I also need to know where we send the auction info.

Kristin, I'm sorry you are sad about SO moving out. ((hugs))

Trudy said...

Kristin I'm sorry your having a hard time now. It will get better. Still thinking about that michigan party this summer. I also need a address to send for the crafts. I'm making some jewelry. I would love to do cake balls but don't know how they would ship.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Are we sending the prizes to a particular person, or are we just holding on them until someone wins?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Cut myself off.

Because I was just going to have the bowl shipped directly from company to winner.

Was I wrong to assume that?

PJ said...

Quick stop in at lunch. I, like FT, have a difficult time doing Daisy-Lite.

I just visited lia's caring bridge - just wondering what the latest developments are and didn't see anything there - can anyone help?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Has anyone here been to San Antonio or Austin? We will be spending part of the week we are in SA in Austin. It will be 2 nights of just Mr. BD and myself. Does anyone know of any child-friendly places in SA, or any awesome places in Austin for two adults?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Where is RiM today?

Robin in Montana said...

BD - I am here, but kids are off of school for the day and bbooorrreeeeddd, I have about 30 minutes of audio left on this job and I just cannot seem to focus on it (can't hear closing arguments) and I have cramps from hell. All factors that make me less than pleasant company!

Erin said...

RF- this is the site the lunch boxes came from: http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/
Kristin's sister had a party. I got the girls each one with their names on it. They are insulated as well. We just walked over to school and Janey took hers. All the teachers wanted one!

Anonymous said...

Hi CK! - I was wondering the same thing.

FT - Re: Noukies

They have the cutest things, don't they?
The brand was founded in the early 90's by a Belgian couple but it really took off in the early 2000's because they created a Noukie plush for the birth of princess Elisabeth (the daughter of the heir to the throne, Prince Philippe) and I guess people started noticing the brand.

I know that's super random but I just thought I'd share ;-)

Anonymous said...

Hi bd, RiM, EL and everyone else who's on!

Angie said...

BD, Kristin was in Austin yesterday, right Kristin? I bet she can help you.

Margo said...

Ginger - anything you want to donate works :)

BD - I was thinking that everybody would hang on to the stuff they donate and then after it's been paid for (by the bidder) I'll give you the address of where to send it.

RF - not lame at all. I'm sure a description will work.

Trudy - jewelry sounds great!

E-mail your pics and an approximate value to me at shimargar at aol. If you don't know the value I'll try and figure one out.

Anonymous said...

Hi SW!

I loved reading the confederate flag debate. I was surprised that there are still many Caucasians-only sororities in Alabama. I didn't know racism was still so present. I mean, I knew it was still there but not that much!

Margo said...

Noukies - Hannah's Cowie is Lola but to us she's a he. I'm almost positive that on the day Hannah gets married she'll have Cowie wrapped around her bouquet :)

Anonymous said...

Margaret - That's sweet :)
At birth I was given a blue bear, which I've later named 'Patapouf'. We're almost 21 years later and I still have it - it's sitting on my nightstand! ;-D

Erin said...

Margaret- I will email you by tonight. My son's blankie is still on the headboard shelf of his bed!

Hi Corinne.

FT- The website you mentioned last night were you got your Noukie? Thanks. The stuff is beautiful.

Erin said...

I wish someone would buy *me a noukie :( I want the hippo. Or the donkey. Or the mole.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Checking out for a while. Catch you later!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Oh, before you go? That's great, Margaret. I didn't want it to be shipped too much, lest it break. Let the company be responsible for it. :O

Margo said...

I had a stuffed rabbit named bun bun. When we moved from CA to the east coast he got left behind at a hotel. My mother still has guilt :)

Robin in Montana said...

So ... just talked to my ex and he may be handing over my girls' two horses, which I would love! We should not look for a horse for Kelly at all this year, which would be nice.

Really Frugal said...

Margaret, I feel for your mother. Baby Beans was dropped in a store in Sault Ste Marie, gone the next morning. My youngest has forgiven me, but I still feel guilty.

Robin, Hooray on the horses!

Lisa said...

Robin, why is the ex suddenly being cooperative and helpful? Can he not afford them?

Anonymous said...

Checking in...today is Grandparents Day at school. My mom went this morning for C and this afternoon for B. B was so excited that his grandma was going to be in his class.

Lisa said...

Hey, Sandy, was there any blacklash from those emails against C? That's so sweet B is excited...that has to make your mom feel great.

Anonymous said...

No backlash yet. My next meeting with them is next Wednesday.

Life full of bRATS said...

Meh :( Days just gotten harder. I feel like someone run me over. FML. Somedays.

Anonymous said...

I worked really hard to get everthing that I needed to get done so I could have an afternoon to myself and now I'm bored as hell. Nothing on TV. I'm caught up on DVR stuff. *Sigh*

kristin said...

What about a DVD of a Nat Geo special on Cupid....damn, that is what I wanted to get when I amazoned last time - the Cupid story.

Okay - baby shower is done - mom came and made me cry :)

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry Kristin!

Robin in Montana said...

AP - It's not so much that he's being cooperative as that he's haggling with someone else. He's in a squabble with Drunk Kevin, who now thinks he should get rent for pasture (even though he owes "us" close to $10,000) and he just doesn't want to (and I don't blame him) deal with him any more. He said he will still pay for shoeing and worming and all that, and that in the winter he'll take them back up to his dad's to feed and he'll buy hay. We'll see.

Lisa said...

Kay, what happened?

Kristin, good cry or bad?

Robin in Montana said...

Sandy -- I *hate that! You don't have any books you've been wanting to read?

Anonymous said...

RiM- Done with everything. No books or new magazines. Nada. I'm now watching a documentary on lobotomies. ::hangs head in shame and needs to get a life::

Muliebrity said...

anyone know how I can get out of my directTV contract?

Margo said...

Lobotomies should never be used as a form of entertainment - unless of course your AH was home :)

Margo said...

Kristin :(

Some guy in Utah asked for the firing squad?

Muliebrity said...

We have taken it down to the bare minimum, so now we pay $60+ a month for nothing I really like. I would just rather it be gone, but we still have a year left on the contract. Can I just tell them we are moving?

kristin said...

Mulie - isn't your husband in the military. I would say that he is being deported and you are going to live with family to help with the children. A lot of times people will do things above and beyond for military.

Just a thought.

AP - I guess it was a bad cry. I just want her to hug me and say I'm sorry but she wants to talk about it. I told her I would but today was my sisters day and I did not want to cry.

Oh well.

Robin in Montana said...

Mulie - you might try the service angle, like Kristin said. If you say you are moving, they will tell you that they offer a free moving service. They are all but impossible to get out of. On the flip side, the cancellation fee is, what, $150? So that's less than three months' service, anyway, and you'll be saving yourself $550 or so in the long run. But try the thing with the service, for sure.

Robin in Montana said...

Kristin- I am sorry. I know your family has really liked your SO, so they're probably wanting to just "fix" things?

Muliebrity said...

Kristen - :-(

I have already been whining to them about my husband being deployed, blah, blah, blah, but they are heartless bastards.

I seem to have gotten screwed out of the $100 credit at&t offered me and since I got the directTV service through at&t, I can bitch at them to get me out of it.

Robin in Montana said...

Sandy -- well, *darn it, then. Let's see, what can we do to entertain you? You could sign on to Facebook and get addicted to Mafia Wars, like I did. ::helpfully::

Lisa said...

Kristin, I'm sorry. :-(

Mulie, it won't cancel your contract but doing this will buy you some time to try to figure a way out of it.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1501618/how_to_get_out_of_a_direct_tv_contract.html?cat=54

Lisa said...

Also, Mulie, see if you can somehow work this to your benefit.

http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/scra/bl203.htm

Muliebrity said...

I have read about the vacation hold before and that might be better, considering we might like it back on in the winter. It just seems stupid to pay money for shows I don't even watch. I don't even get Bravo or TLC any more! It's like, what's the point?

Lisa said...

Well, like I said, it might buy you some time, anyway. Worth a shot.

In other news, this sounds like fun. Only not. :-/ http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,591387,00.html

Kay, is this similar to what got at you?

Shannon said...

AP I just read about that this morning....let me say knowing Kay's story this pretty well scares me a bit.

kristin said...

and just so you know, I may not have internet service this weekend if SO decided to take his aircard. :( Just letting you guys know.

Shannon said...

Kristin I wish I was closer to you I would give you my shoulder and let you have a good cry and a big ass hug!!!

kristin said...

Thanks Shannon!

kristin said...

Not looking forward to going home, not sure what has been moved, etc. uggggghhhhhhhh!

Erin said...

I wish there was something I could do too make this easier Kristin.

Angie said...

Kristin, ugh is right. Maybe it won't be as bad as you think. Sending you positive thoughts. Will LM be with you when you go home?

kristin said...

no worries EL - I just wish things weren't so freakin' busy and stressed already.

I mean he said he was going to call - but he hasn't - so not sure if he took the couch - and mine is in storage, so I may be sitting on the floor until I can get into storage and find someone to help.

Luckily, it is my bed and the only thing that are his are the end tables, dresser in my room and LM's room - forgot about that - and the couches.

hmmmmmmmmm.....

Angie said...

So what I want to know is, why are people not concerned that their kittehs are going to scratch their IPads? http://www.viddler.com/explore/cheezburger/videos/400/34.968/

kristin said...

yes SW.

I will call him on the way to pick him up and see what is up.

Hi Kristin - I've been thinking about you - hang in there. Relationship stuff is so intense - be kind and patient with yourself. You gotta walk through some tough things -
