Kristin, you're cute and all but she's got a Peter Pan collar and she's a lawyer. I may need a lawyer someday. Plus, she's got lots of stuff for me to clean. I'll still go to your games with you though and can slap your ass if SW doesn't mind.
SW, I understand. It's sort of like how I flutter a bit whist Israel says "silly rabbit."
By the by, if anyone wants to g'head and post recipes, the link is http://www.chickenfrieddaisies.blogspot.com/ and I'll link it when I figure out how to do it properly. Until then, you can bookmark it.
(BTW, I've got a feeling that this isn't going to be as hilarious to the morning folks as it seems tonight. I think I'm just delirous with tired and tequila.)
CK, *I have the red mittens too! I think they were exclusively made by the Hudsons Bay Company (The Bay) and their affiliates like HomeSense. My little one has a pair also.
FT - I also want one of the collectors pins - the first nations drum. Trying to find one on e-bay too. The shipping from HBC (canada) is pretty expensive.
SW - he did actually. This morning he was coughing a lot this morning. I have to convince him to do a breathing treatment this morning. He keeps telling me no and whining.
Poor little guy about the breathing treatment. How much longer are you going to have to give him those?
I'm doing good. Getting ready to head to the grocery store.
I've designated this weekend as triage weekend. Today I'm doing triage on my house, which is out of control messy. Tomorrow I'm doing triage at my office.
I also have a 3 year old - so sitting here right now - there is a backpack on the couch, cough med and vapo rub on the end table, a book (under my coffee cup), a turtle on the floor, 2 pillows, an empty kroger bag, a bag that I had my lunch in yesterday, a cooler that I took to LM's school for a party, LM's hat, a headband, and another bag full of stuff that I took out of my car. Yup, I need to clean.
Just saw the coolest thing at the bird feeder. I have a male and female cardinal out there, the male would get food and take it to the female sitting on the fence and feed her.
Just saw the coolest thing at the bird feeder. I have a male and female cardinal out there, the male would get food and take it to the female sitting on the fence and feed her.
I would trade places with you, SW. We are in that crappy part of the year, where it is cold and it seems to stretch on forever...and no holidays or fun stuff is going on.
A mash tun in where you mix boiling water with the cracked grain and let it sit to make malt...the delicious building block of beer!!
Men do it in the beginning, SW. After those cardinals have been together for a few years, she is going to be picking up his little birdie boxer shorts off the bathroom floor, just like everyone else. :D
Corinne, I'd be honored to be your aunt. Glad for your sunny day! It's gorgeous here too! Did you see what I posted about Shutter Island yesterday? I can't remember if you commented on whether you want to see it.

Kristin - yes, he's actively searching. And I think some warm weather could rejuvenate him.
I guess I'm just afraid when June comes around and his unemployment runs out, if he still doesn't have a job we'll wish we hadn't gone and had the money instead to pay bills.

Kristin, you want me to play matchmaker for you? I will.
CK, I'm central east coast, sort of right across the state from Sarasota and I don't think the next week or two will be good enough weather. 70's and rainy is what I'm hearing. I do think you'll need to head further south and maybe more to the eastern part of the state since I think the rains are supposed to come in off the Gulf. Maybe something in the Miramar area to keep it a little cheaper by being off the beach...Google it and see what you think. Also, you can plug the zipcode of certain towns into wunderground.com and get pretty good 5 day forecasts for that specific area.
"Let's see, Add As Friend or not? Hmmmm - that would freak him out."
I'd add Jake's dad in a heartbeat if he was on. I say go for it!
And yes, Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. You could even do Orlando and rent a car. It's about a 200 mile or so drive but a nice enough one and it could be cost effective if you get good enough rates.
But we may stalk you. Park outside your house and see if you have a big flat screen TV. Follow you to the grocery store to see what really goes into your shopping cart. Take photos of you going out on dates with men. And start an APWoP site to report it all.
OT - I'm looking at the sitemeter set up on this blog (my new favorite thing - I'm weird).
It locates me in Zottegem (not exactly close to where I live - at least on a Belgian scale). Yesterday, I was in Antwerpen (which is even further). I remember that it also said at some point I was in Liege (two hours away from where I live).
I'm traveling inside of my own country without exactly traveling. Cool!
"Take photos of you going out on dates with men. And start an APWoP site to report it all."
Oh, by all means, you just go for it! :-D Dates with men...funny stuff! Actually dates with women are about as funny. I'm kind of worried about someone seeing in my cart, though. Although it could all make me famous and I could put ads on my blogs...hmmm.
I'm with Corinne, I want to see his photography now!
Just so y'all know, the proxy servers aren't foolproof. Sometimes they fail, which can either be funny or not, depending on which side of the failure you're on.
AP - what do you think in general about the vacation idea? Save our money? Go for it?
I guess the one problem I have is he gets all worried about stupid stuff like using gas to drive across town to help my daughter out, or me buying clothes on sale.
I just heard on the news that they found the corpse of a newborn in the remains of the trains re:Monday's accident. Apparently, the mother went into labor shortly after the collision and gave birth right there. She (the mother) died shortly thereafter and they couldn't find the baby. They found her today.
Great Idea CK! Will you adopt me so Corinne and I can be sisters?
Although I think with the 2 of us, you would have to make a lot of money b/c we both want to be in school forever. I'm sure though with 3 mom's, I am sure there is a scholarship or grants we can get :)
Corinne - that is HORRIBLE news, so very sad for that family.
Corinne, you'll like this review blurb I found on Rotten Tomatoes:
"The air of pretentiousness and the whiff of lesbian chic suggest that the bunch of nihilists who produced this garbage will claim something for it. All it really demonstrates is that there is something seriously rotten in the state of France. "
"AP - what do you think in general about the vacation idea? Save our money? Go for it?"
I vote a great big ol' no, since you asked. I come from an upbringing where vacations are rewards when you've got everything else in good order and prepared for. Plus, I'd not feel okay spending even a dollar on anything unnecessary since you have no idea how long it'll be before he is working again. That said, I know some people do view vacations as necessities and not extras, so it's sort of a personal thing, I guess.
"I guess the one problem I have is he gets all worried about stupid stuff like using gas to drive across town to help my daughter out, or me buying clothes on sale."
Admittedly, that would tick me off if he's okay going on vacation, no matter how cheap.
And CK, you can't have SW. She's mine. Allll mine. :-P
"Um, AP? What exactly did you *like about the movie?"
Uh-oh. That doesn't denote that SW had a good time. I loved everything about it, from the way it was filmed to the tackling of such serious and horrific topics with such an utter lack of emotion to the whole religious aspect that makes you stop and think at the end. I just loved it. So, turn about - what didn't you like about it?
Have you seen the ghost of Tom? Long white bones with the rest all gone (Have you seen the ghost of Tom?) Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh (Long white bones with the rest all gone) Wouldn't it be chilly with no skin on? (Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh)
Indeed it is dependent but you can't pick and choose your logic. That would make me buts. In the end, for me, I'd not even be able to enjoy it for fear that down the line I'd be needing that money for bills or some unexpected expense.
Oh, great...nice typo, huh? I'm typing in the dark and with no glasses because I laid them down and now can't find them since, you know, I can't see them.
CK, my review ended up being a little long and personal, and as I told AP, I don't want to scare any of the delicate sorts here, so I e-mailed it to AP. The synopsis is that there was too much graphic torture for my tastes. I prefer my horror to be more fear-based than blood-based. Like the Hostel movies? Not for me.
Now, the Hostel movies were too much for me, too. I didn't care for them simply because it struck me as being gore for the sake of gore and they wrote the storyline around it. I'll pass on that. I liked Martyrs because while it was quite graphic, those scenes were a necessary part of the story. I do make some distinctions on this stuff, believe it or not.
My (very religious conservative) cousin posted this as her facebook status tonight: "Glenn Beck was AWESOME at the CPAC Conference!!! I have hope again!"
Ugh. I wish I had the balls to comment, "Isn't your hope supposed to be in the Lord, and not in Glenn Beck?"
For the olympic watchers - Chad Hendricks is from Spring! I think he lives really close to me...who knew?
They did an interview on the local news here, he has a really cute daughter. The wife said that 4 years ago for the last Olympics, they were boyfriend/girlfriend of only a month. He also said he doesn't like cold :)
SW, I feel your pain on the kitchen...just started the dishwasher for the 2nd time today. When is your next supper club? I love the concept, but don't know anyone who'd be interested in starting one.
My evening is okay other than forcing my son to do his breathing treatment. He does great while he is doing it, but getting him to do it...totally 'nother story.
oh, and I feel your pain on the kitchen...I got out leftovers from last night and they are all over the kitchen, along with stuff that I got at the grocery.
Is there any way to make it a game or something fun to convince him to do it? We've not had to do one of those, but the kids have to take daily allergy medication that they'd rather not...they've both been on it over 2 years now, so it is easier, but still takes some trying...
Everyone is welcome! The only real rules here are no spamming shit and no posting personal addresses, phone numbers or other similar info. I don't need that kind of stress. That's it, although it could change if someone gets creative or something. If you don't like what is said here, you can: 1) Say so; 2) Hold it in and stew on it; 3. Address it privately to the person who said it; 4) Snark about it to your friends; 5) Leave. Don't bother me with it, I don't care and I won't get involved. I might, however, talk about you behind your back or post your email/message to me on here. *grins*
Them's the rules...all of them.
Have fun!

Awww, AP, for me??? How sweet!
FT, can't you let me be snexy for at least an hour? Jeez!
BTW, AP, I'm not really dumping you. BD had me in a temporary cuisine-induced thrall whist you were away.
You know what? If anyone wants to be snexy when they post first, go for it. If not, I don't blame you...lol. But the option is there.
Snexy. That just kills me. You wear it well, FT. ;-)
AP: you can *see me??
::covers self with nearest blanket::
I have GOT to take some kind of course just to keep up with what you people can do with the internet.
*shuffles feet and blushes*
I might have been trying to win you back, SW.
I'm the invisible one FT. You and AP conspiring right in front of me to steal my snexy crown. Keep in mind, payback's hell!
"I have GOT to take some kind of course just to keep up with what you people can do with the internet."
A basic course in psychology should do the trick.
SW, it's a snexy *collar you have.
Lordy, I'm getting such a kick out of this "whist" thing. JM's a gift that just keeps on giving, isn't she?
"JM's a gift that just keeps on giving, isn't she?"
Yep and so's her uterus.
"SW, it's a snexy *collar you have."
My bad, AP. I'm tired and have been drinking. So not the sharpest tool in the shed. Still sharper than your boyfriend Israel though.
"Yep and so's her uterus."
Ba dum bum!

Hmph. I can't wait until he has his very own blog so I can be his biggest fan.
I gotta feeling that a bunch of starstruck sheeple are going to fight you for that title, AP. But knock yourself out!
AP: a course in Psychology. No kidding, sister.
Please nobody ruin snexiness with a crown. Reminds me of tiaras.
It's a COLLAR! A snexy collar! Not a crown! I made a mistake, geez!
Listening to the national anthem of Australia on the olympics. Where's SG been? Come say hi SG!
LOL! Thank you both for that laugh and thank you, Bella, for adding the word "snexy" into our non-with-it vocabularies today.
Alright, I may be out for the night, as I have a farm or two that need tending.
G'night, John Boy.
Night AP! You snexy thing!
I believe in miracles,
Where you from,
You snexy thing...
I believe in miracles,
Since you came along,
You snexy thing....
I wanna be snexy. Somebody call me snexy.
If you want my collar
and you think I'm snexy
come on sugar let me know.
If you really need me
just reach out and touch me
whist I got a snexy glow.
Cause if you say it, it makes it true, right?
In my fragile little ego, maybe.
Oh, SW - you are the queen (without a tiara) of lyric spoofs.
Awww, CK, you're just trying to get me to say you're snexy. ::blushing::
(BTW, I've got a feeling that this isn't going to be as hilarious to the morning folks as it seems tonight. I think I'm just delirous with tired and tequila.)
Homotofore, I am the snexyest beast..
Ka-Pow!
We're not worthy Bella!
Hey all - I am CRACKING up here!
Hi Karen! Are you tired and drunk too? Or are we really hilarious?
See you ladies tomorrow - I'm out!
G'night, SW!
Karen, hello!
Hey yo Bella & Karen.
CK: Snex-ay!
Say it again, FT, SAY IT AGAIN! AAAHHHH!!!
FT - you should see just exactly how Snex-ay I am in my hummus apron and nothing else.
lol@ CK.
Hi everyone :)
It's quiet tonight, Bella.
Earlier I told Kristin it was because people didn't like us.
Well she went to bed quite a while ago.
::must be me:
Don't all agree at once.
CK: You may laugh but I *did wear my hummus apron a couple of times this week. I like the adjustable straps.
Oooh, I said straps. Snex-ay!
And I like you.
HI CK and Bella and SW
I'm not reall tired OR drunk but you are all hilarious! I like watching drunk people!! Should be a bartender, huh?
and everyone else thats here, don't want to leave anyone out... HI to everyone!!
I'm SO excited - I ordered my 2010 Olympic Torchbearer Mittens and they are on their way.
The company that made them was sold out, so I found a pair on the ebay.
Cute - red with white leaf. I too, can now be a torchbearer. Or at least play one in my humble neighborhood.
Naked, wearing the hummus apron, of course.
CK, *I have the red mittens too! I think they were exclusively made by the Hudsons Bay Company (The Bay) and their affiliates like HomeSense. My little one has a pair also.
Yes - HBCompany.
We can be twins in our mittens and aprons.
Except I just went to check and could swear I bid and won a S/M pair. But it shows a size L.
So, off to try to buy S/M, and gift the L to someone else.
FT - I also want one of the collectors pins - the first nations drum. Trying to find one on e-bay too. The shipping from HBC (canada) is pretty expensive.
Shameless hinting??? JK.
LOL! How much is this crazy shipping. Maybe we can reroute it thru me or I can pick up or something, I mean how much could it cost?
I think they've run out of the shirt, the mittens and the pin - but they wanted $15 to ship a $20 t-shirt.
Or $15 to ship an $8 pin.
Minimum shipping to Canada is $8.
Crazy.
Morning ladies!
You guys are pretty funny! lol!
Morning Kristin! Did LM have a good night?
SW - he did actually. This morning he was coughing a lot this morning. I have to convince him to do a breathing treatment this morning. He keeps telling me no and whining.
How are you?
Poor little guy about the breathing treatment. How much longer are you going to have to give him those?
I'm doing good. Getting ready to head to the grocery store.
I've designated this weekend as triage weekend. Today I'm doing triage on my house, which is out of control messy. Tomorrow I'm doing triage at my office.
I need to do that to my house too SW!
Have fun at the grocery.
I am not sure how much longer :( Until his cough is better. No swim lessons today!
Oh pooh, your house is already clean, Kristin. You clean all the time!
Hmph.
SW, here I am, trying to court you with tasty tasteless, and whist I am away, AP snatches you back up.
::weeping gently::
That was supposed to be "tasty tastelets."
Coffee....needed....here.
Also, the pasta e fagioli turned out beautifully, though next time I would add celery salt.
::not that SW cares::
Sorry, BD. But I saw the writing on the wall. Bella's not giving you up without a fight. And she's from Chicago. Which means she can kick my ass.
And also, AP thinks I'm snexy.
I need to go back and look at that recipe again.
Wait, Bella fought for me?
I thought she'd left me.
This changes everything.
I mean, Bella's a badass, and she's getting tattoo sleeves, and she writes a mean haiku.
Sorry SW. I'm going back to my first snexy love.
I guess I'd better go catch up on last night's thread.
Oh Bella, my dear, you
spoke and I answered, dropping
SW on her ass.
Although she'd already dumped me. But my ego can't take that.
OT, can someone tell me why the hell I'd want a goose topiary in FarmVille?
LOL Easy come, easy go! Bella's getting sleeves? Wow! When?
I've been trying to figure out how many syllables to count for "W," Bella. I guess the correct answer is one, huh? ::smirk::
Bella = BD
Fuck.
I said I needed coffee, goddamn it!
Note to self: BD's not a morning person either.
Good morning girls :)
I'm getting a half sleeve. I have to be able to cover it at work, and later on, in the nursing home. heh.
I'm off to Lowes in a bit to buy an angle grinder, so I can turn beer kegs into mash tuns for homebrewing.
We are supposed to get a foot of snow tomorrow night...WTH?
More snow Bella? Ugh! Guess what? It's going to get up to 60 degrees here for the first time since Thanksgiving! Woohooo!!
::pretending she knows what a mash tun is::
Just saw the coolest thing at the bird feeder. I have a male and female cardinal out there, the male would get food and take it to the female sitting on the fence and feed her.
::feeling lonely b/c Bella + BD and SW + AP :(
Just saw the coolest thing at the bird feeder. I have a male and female cardinal out there, the male would get food and take it to the female sitting on the fence and feed her.

And by the way. Yes, BD, Bella is definitely a badass!
"the male would get food and take it to the female sitting on the fence and feed her"
Awwww. Too bad life's not like that, huh?
I would trade places with you, SW. We are in that crappy part of the year, where it is cold and it seems to stretch on forever...and no holidays or fun stuff is going on.

So true Bella, so true.
and just saw something that made me giggle on yahoo sports:
"Yeah, that is an angry beaver flying at you at 80 mph. What are you gonna do about it?"
Maybe something that JM says?
LOL Kristin! RV, DUCK!!!
I just found it very amusing!
Hi ladies!
Sunny day here for the first time in two months. Yay!
Hi all! Watching Saturday morning public television cooking shows. Delish!
AP - saw this article and thought of you:
http://tiny.cc/GzoIh
I see that CK fought for me. It's true that she 'had' me first ;)
SW- you can still be my aunt if you want :P
Hi Kristin, Corinne, Bella, CK, SW, BD! Hope I didn't miss anyone!
Today's challenge: Can anyone use whist and snexy in the same sentence?
Just got in and I'm off soon to run some errands, back much later. Hopefully some MIA will toddle in later today.
TTYL
Hey FT!
and hello to everyone else, I don't think I acknowledged everyone yet!
AP- Well. That song made me cry.
Hi FT, Kristin, CK, Bella, Bd, SW and all those I didn't mention!
Ah, my Belgian babe! Mornin' from your Minnesota mom.
Kristin, that article is interesting!
Corinne, I'd be honored to be your aunt. Glad for your sunny day! It's gorgeous here too! Did you see what I posted about Shutter Island yesterday? I can't remember if you commented on whether you want to see it.
Hey CK! Your Belgian daughter salutes you :D
SW- I'm so going to see Shutter Island. I really like Martin Scorcese's movies (well, most of them) and I loved the novel 'Shutter Island' =)
Looking for some advice.
Hubby is getting cabin fever. Big time. He always does during the winter.
So, he's out of a job, still getting unemployment, plus we have some funds to live off for a while yet.
He's figured out how to do a "cheap" vacation to Florida - Tampa/Sarasota area. We'd use airline points, hotel points for some of the nights. Would need to pay for a rental car, and food, and probably 2-3 nights at a hotel.
I'm having a hard time spending the money, in spite of it still not costing us much. We'd be staying far from the beach, and Tampa/Sarasota isn't consistent with good weather that time of year, or isn't truly "warm" (for laying on the beach).
I'd rather wait until he gets a job and do something a level or two nicer, to somewhere and at a time when we can be more sure of warm weather. So we could eat out at nice places, maybe I could get a massage - a bit of pampering and luxury.
Anyone have thoughts?
<------sitting in the corner all by myself sulking whist I watch TV and pine for snexy AP!
She did it! Nice work, Kristin.
although I think a haiku using said words would be much better!
*hint, hint
CK- Personally, I think I'd be like you and I'd rather wait but I don't have any advice per se.
CK - would this trip maybe give rejuvenating for him? Maybe put him in a better mood and maybe help in the job search arena?
Not sure if he is actively searching or not, just throwing out my two cents.
Kristin - yes, he's actively searching. And I think some warm weather could rejuvenate him.
I guess I'm just afraid when June comes around and his unemployment runs out, if he still doesn't have a job we'll wish we hadn't gone and had the money instead to pay bills.
But I'm willing to listen and consider it.
If it was me, I would probably look at him like he was crazy and say HELL no...but that is me.
What kind of work?
Turns out my son is sick too. His wife is taking good care of him.
Kristin - he's a chemist, but has been out of the lab for years. R&D, Project Leader, etc. Very limited job prospects - he's quite specialized.
CK- Yikes. I hope he gets well soon. It's nice that his wife's taking good care of him.
How is your daughter doing today?
ohhh....i see. Has he thought of teaching?
Also, would you consider leaving Minnesota?
My stepdad works in a lab for the chemical plants down here testing samples.
Just thinking out loud.
I believe in miracles,
Where you from,
You snexy thing...
If you want my collar
and you think I'm snexy
come on sugar let me know.
Oh, my word...what things to find right off...lol!!! And CK, you're snexy all over the place, no question.
I'm about out the door for the day, but CK, would it be possible to go somewhere warmer in FL? Where you would have a better chance for good weather?
I would say that would be the biggest veto point for me...going on vacation and spending money, but not getting the warm weather this time of year. If you are going to do a vacation, at least do a pleasurable one :)
::imagining CK and hubby sitting in a hotel room during a cool, rainy, Sarasota day:::
"OT, can someone tell me why the hell I'd want a goose topiary in FarmVille?"
No clue, but I have one. It might come in handy someday.
Kristin - I've suggested teaching. I think he'd be a very good science teacher, and likely be able to find a job once he got his license.
But he doesn't want to take the huge step back in pay. He tells me it's not fair how little teachers get paid.
Uh, preaching to the choir, here? But it's not about the money, it's about work that's rewarding and important to the future.
And something is better than nothing. I think school was hard for him, and the idea of going back might scare him.
Bella- Agree. When I go on vacation, I like to have warm, sunny days. Otherwise, I'd rather stay home.
Rain sucks.
Bella - HA!
Thanks for the advice. Fort Myers, maybe?
AP - you should see just how snexy I am at the moment - nightgown and robe, bedhead, no shower yet, coffee breath - fairly disgusting.
But thank you -
I was thinking around there, even Naples. Or Marco Island.
Interesting.
do you have an alternative teaching program there? We do, and I was scared to death of it but it was really not that hard. First, you had to go to "classes" but they are more like seminars, they talk about teaching and show some film - Harry Wong - ring a bell? A lot of teachers talking about their experience, then you have to take the test. They have study guides for that.
I would think that he could teach while actively pursuing something else, or maybe look at being a tutor for Chemistry at the HS or College level - they make decent money - and if he had problems in school then he could relate.
Yes, something is better than nothing.
"AP - saw this article and thought of you:
http://tiny.cc/GzoIh"
It always makes me nervous when someone says that to me. ;-) That was interesting...I had no idea the sport was that old and that the granite is just the one kind. Thanks, Karen !
Kristin, you want me to play matchmaker for you? I will.
CK - I am just as snexy as you are, but I think I have LM boogers on my shirt...gotta love being a mom :)
Going to change my shirt now!
Bella - good idea - any suggestions of places to stay? It would take more points to get there and stay there, so would end up costing us more.
Probably my favorite Florida vacation (with the exception it was with my ex husband)?
Longboat Key Club in May - off season so rates were 50% off. Not a lot of people. White sand beach. Beautiful weather.
Crap, I meant thanks *Kristin!
Those who watch the Olympics:
Did you see the skier Patrick Jaerbyn fall yesterday? It was pretty scary.
He was airlifted but - thank God - only suffers from a mild concussion.
Corinne - haven't checked in with Caitlin yet this a.m. She's probably still sleeping.
::waiting for AP to invite us to vacation at her place::
No thanks AP, I will just stay lonely and pine for you :(
AP - I think it was me that posted that article...just sayin'.
The cardinals are still feeding each other :)
ooops, I see where you corrected yourself AP - my apologies. I was typing.
Anyone watch Life After People, on the History Channel. Pretty interesting.
Kristin - There are alternate licensure programs, but only for inner city schools. The students there would likely eat him alive.
Tutoring is a good idea - I'll suggest it to him.
We've also talked about him getting a Masters in Engineering - there are so many jobs he could have applied for if he had it.
Take some pictures of those cardinals, Kristin! That's very cute!
Oh dear lord, ex is now on facebook. He comment on my son's status.
Let's see, Add As Friend or not? Hmmmm - that would freak him out.
AP - I'll check that out. I've always gone to Gulf side.
Where would we fly into - Miami?
::waiting for AP to invite us to vacation at her place::
Heh. It would scare you with its smallness and overabundance of cats and musical equipment!
"No thanks AP, I will just stay lonely and pine for you :( Anyone watch Life After People, on the History Channel. Pretty interesting."
I'm sorry, Kristin, but I'll watch this with you...I like it, too!
Okay, I'm gonna get off my ass and do something.
I am sure I will be back in about 15 minutes though.
SO is asleep on the couch and LM is in my room.
CK- LOL@ your ex being on FB. If you were to friend him, that would definitely throw him off - in a funny way :P
AP - you're safe - hubby is allergic to cats.
But we may stalk you.
Park outside your house and see if you have a big flat screen TV.
Follow you to the grocery store to see what really goes into your shopping cart.
Take photos of you going out on dates with men.
And start an APWoP site to report it all.
AP - I don't know if I can do it - just looking at the pictures he has posted is turning my stomach.
To say he's not very attractive would be a huge understatement. I didn't marry him for his looks.
Plus, a personality to match. His way or the highway. NPD.
It appears he fancies himself to be an avant garde photographer. Really bad stuff.
Cool!
Lol CK - Now I want to see his 'photography' :D
There are just so many parallels between ex and JM.
Both of them think they are people they are not.
Corinne - enjoy the trip!
You're just trying to hide.
"Take photos of you going out on dates with men.
And start an APWoP site to report it all."
Oh, by all means, you just go for it! :-D
Dates with men...funny stuff! Actually dates with women are about as funny. I'm kind of worried about someone seeing in my cart, though. Although it could all make me famous and I could put ads on my blogs...hmmm.
I'm with Corinne, I want to see his photography now!
CK- I'd use hidemyass if I wanted hide. You know, that's more efficient ;)
Just so y'all know, the proxy servers aren't foolproof. Sometimes they fail, which can either be funny or not, depending on which side of the failure you're on.
LOL @ Corinne!
Traveling - take pics while you are at it will ya!
Yes CK, I wanna see too!
AP - I was cleaning out kitty litter and thought of you, sorry but how are the kitties? Did you figure out which one was sick?
AP - he farms!
"AP - I was cleaning out kitty litter and thought of you,"
Well, thanks, Kristin.
"sorry but how are the kitties? Did you figure out which one was sick?"
Nope, but I've not seen more blood so I'm hoping someone just had a hemorrhoid issue or something. Thanks. :-)
"AP - he farms!"
He can't be all bad, then!
Okay, I'm gone...got tons of stuff to do today and apparently no one is going to do it for me. See y'all later. :-)
AP - what do you think in general about the vacation idea? Save our money? Go for it?
I guess the one problem I have is he gets all worried about stupid stuff like using gas to drive across town to help my daughter out, or me buying clothes on sale.
But then it's okay to spend on a vacation?
Corinne - I think a lot of people just scurried away from here :) or went to look at hidemyass :)
Sorry AP but it was true. Glad there was no more blood.
See ya later!
I too need to get away from here :)
Kristin, you mean, like when you turn the lights on, and the roaches run and hide?
(from what I've heard - no roaches in MN)
I just heard on the news that they found the corpse of a newborn in the remains of the trains re:Monday's accident.
Apparently, the mother went into labor shortly after the collision and gave birth right there. She (the mother) died shortly thereafter and they couldn't find the baby. They found her today.
It's so heart-wrenching.
Corinne - I have an idea. SW and I can get married and both be your USA moms.
Then you can have your own ABC Afterschool Special titled "I Have Three Moms".
CK- LOL =P
Kristin - LOL - I'm sure there is some odd scholarship for 30 something daughters of three mothers, with a Belgian sister.
I have to log off for a while. BBL!
AP, I just got Martyrs in the mail and am about to watch it! I'll let you know what I think.
SW- There *is something rotten in the state of France! :P (especially since Nicolas sarkozy is basically a modern-day Napoleon).
Anyways, I do love this review!
Um, AP? What exactly did you *like about the movie?
Guess it wasn't that good SW??
Off to read a synopsis of Martyrs, as AP and SW have a lover's debate.
I have a bad, bad feeling I'm going to be the only one liking this movie.
Okay, which Martyrs - the 2008 "terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity" OR the 2009 "which fast food restaurant will kill you first"?
The 2008 one, CK.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1029234/
Thanks for sharing what you think about the vacation.
A perennial issue for us is his aggravating habit to pick and choose when to apply "logic" to situations, or which "logic" to apply.
"It's a good idea" is dependent on which side of the decision you want most.
Looks dark AP - and she ends up without skin?
Reminds me of that happy little Halloween ditty:
Have you seen the ghost of Tom?
Long white bones with the rest all gone (Have you seen the ghost of Tom?)
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh (Long white bones with the rest all gone)
Wouldn't it be chilly with no skin on? (Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh)
Indeed it is dependent but you can't pick and choose your logic. That would make me buts. In the end, for me, I'd not even be able to enjoy it for fear that down the line I'd be needing that money for bills or some unexpected expense.
"Looks dark AP - and she ends up without skin?"
Um, yeah. But it was for a reason.
"Reminds me of that happy little Halloween ditty:"
LOL! I've never heard that but I'm going to have it stuck in my mind now. Thanks.
"That would make me buts."...as opposed to nuts....sorry I had to giggle on that one.
Just catching up and "lurking" a bit. LM was outside playing in the dirt, now in the tub while I fold clothes.
Hey ladies!
Oh, great...nice typo, huh? I'm typing in the dark and with no glasses because I laid them down and now can't find them since, you know, I can't see them.
Hi Kristen. A mud bath, huh?
CK- I think that whole mentality is a guy thing.
AP- if you were typing in the dark with glasses how *well would you be able to see? ;)
Why is it that when you are on the outside of a bath tub, you end up just as wet as if you were in?
Kristin- I have often woondered that! Plus, my floor is *always soaking too.
"AP- if you were typing in the dark with glasses how *well would you be able to see? ;)"
Just as poorly but I'd not have to lean in so far for it. :-P
LOL CK! I haven't heard that ditty before!
Hi SW - do share your review of the movie.
Husband has never seen Sixth Sense. It's on tonight - and my lips are sealed.
It was that or Driving Miss Daisy. Ha.
Oh, Sixth Sense was good! You don't think he'll like it?
AP - yes I think he'll love it. I'm just keeping quiet about the ending.
Sue is on MWoP.
Not for me.
Hey, I miss Sue! Should we go say hello, do you think? And then while she's distracted, kidnap her?
I said hi, and I think she'd love to hear from you. Kidnap her!
Ha, AP! We should definitely kidnap Sue! We're coming for you, Sue!
SW,
Ah yes, we have some delicate flowers here. Daisies even.
Alrighty, let's go get Sue. See you there! Who has a monkey to distract her with?
I found a monkey. Ha. And who the heck is OverMWoP? Do we know or is just a random sheeple?
I think if you kidnap the monkey, she might come after him.
Yeah for Saturday. Too bad Monday is just around the corner. How is everyone this evening?
Hi Amy! I'm chilling and trying to make myself get up and finish cleaning the kitchen.
SW, I feel your pain on the kitchen...just started the dishwasher for the 2nd time today. When is your next supper club? I love the concept, but don't know anyone who'd be interested in starting one.
Hey Amy/ SW, et al!
My evening is okay other than forcing my son to do his breathing treatment. He does great while he is doing it, but getting him to do it...totally 'nother story.
SW,
My father thinks Glenn Beck is smart and wise.
Arggggg!
oh, and I feel your pain on the kitchen...I got out leftovers from last night and they are all over the kitchen, along with stuff that I got at the grocery.
Kristin,
Is there any way to make it a game or something fun to convince him to do it? We've not had to do one of those, but the kids have to take daily allergy medication that they'd rather not...they've both been on it over 2 years now, so it is easier, but still takes some trying...
HI CK!
Can someone please claim the tv back for me? We've gone from Olympic coverage to Family Guy...I'm not amused.
Post a Comment
Yes, you said this...
