Baby talk.

Sorry, I'm too tired to even put a picture up tonight but not nearly as tired as our Mulie is, I know.  Carry on and talk about her and our new little Daisy who is on the way!

Third night in a row I've posted on a dead thread. I give up.

Jeanette said...

Wth, is Blogger messing with me or is no one here?

KaytieJ said...

Jeanette - don't give up! I think everyone is holding their breath for our dear Mulie & Muliette!

Kay - luv your spunk!

Jeanette said...

I just went to look at the Sitemeter. There are 2 pages of people on here. Speak up people before I start singing. Trust me when I say, *No one wants that!

Jeanette said...

Kaytie! Yay! I was starting to wonder if I smell.

Karen said...

I've been here - just trying to catch up! Where is Mulietta? I forgot to guess, I assume its too late for me to guess a time! But for weight I'll go with 7lbs 1 oz if thats not already been taken!

Hiya Daisys!

KaytieJ said...

Nah - you don't stink.
Internet and family ADD here :-D

I love to sing. My family tolerates it (barely). My dogs cringe. I was asked (politely) to leave choir.

So, if you and I start singing we can clear the house :-D

OHHH finally!! Thank goodness for her! I hope she gets to sleep sleep sleep all night! She has to be exhausted!

Oriana May - I LOVE that name!!

KaytieJ said...

Karen! Our late night schedules have been off.
Did they find the mastiff? Those are such beautiful and proud dogs. I sure hope he is OK.

Mother Hen note here: Around and during 4th of July, please put dogs in house. I know there are exceptions. We have one. He hates water. He likes fire, or firepits and fireworks, I should say, go figure. The other two? Neurotic puddles of goo when the fireworks go off. I won't go on about the horses and cows during 4th of July. Just saying...duct tape DOES repair fences :-D

KaytieJ said...

ORIANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the World! That is so awesome!!! Mulie, you rest up, get something to eat, a shower!!!!! You go girl, that was a long ordeal!

Karen said...

Kaytie - hi! No - they did not find Zeus - he is so sad, I have been checking online for him cause he doens't have internet, he has been calling the pound and searching before and after work... he's only 21, lives away from his parents, and that was his first dog and SO well trained, he was not quite a year old, and has had him since he was 6 weeks old... I told him to have faith but it stormed last night here. I have a feeling he's hiding, he is friendly when he's around his owner, but he is skittish. The fireworks weren't supposed to start til 9:45 and this was at 9:15 but they set off one to "test" and thats when he took off. They live about 2 blocks from the fireworks park, and it was LOUD! I was out in the yard and I even jumped!! The second he ran, we all ran after him, and he just vanished into thin air!

Grats mulie! Welcome to the world little Oriana :D

KaytieJ said...

Karen - that just breaks my heart for both the dog and his owner. I sure hope they find him.

Karen said...

I do too Kaytie! and having just gone through it with my son, it was just breaking my heart! Boys and their dogs, no matter the age, they are so attached!

Karen said...

LFoB - how are you? have you gotten a shower/bath yet? You've been in my thoughts!!

KaytieJ said...

Karen said...

Baby Oriana Mae finally arrived June 1 at 10:41 pm via c-section! She is 7lbs 12oz and 20 1/2 inched long. She looks perfect and already has daddy wrapped around her finger! Thanks for all your support, prayers, and well wishes!

Anonymous said...

Mulie - Congratulations!! Oriana Mae is a beatiful name and I bet the baby is too!

I'm sorry you had to have a c-section but glad she's here, safe and sound!

twirldawg said...

Congratulations Mulie and baby Oriana!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see pictures!

Erin said...

Congrats Mulie! I am so happy for you.

Margo said...

Yea Mulie - I'm SO happy for you!!! What a beautiful name.

Anonymous said...

Even tho I said it on twitter......just chiming in here @ camp daisy, too. Oriana Mae is so unique and beautiful.....and of course I'm sure the actual baby's beauty is a wonder to behold-nevermind about the name!

I'm so proud of you for keeping a good attitude about you, even when this process seemed to be as aggravating as humanly possible. You are inspiring, Mulez.

Welcome to the garden party, little Oriana. You are SO dearly loved and treasured already,

Lisa said...

Awwww, we've got a baby and a baby with a pretty name, too! That's wonderful news to get up to and if someone wants to send me some pictures, I'll post them if you like! I'm pretty impressed to see Mulie able to post after a c-section, too...damn. :-)

Muliebrity said...

I will get some pictures to you in a little while, AP! Our good camera pooped out, but Matt just said he got some pics with the little camera. I haven't seen then yet and I only want you to see the cutest pics!

Angie said...

Congrats Mulie and Mr. Mulie! And welcome Muliette! First Daisy baby out! Woohooo!!!

T@iy@ said...

Congrats Mulie! Woot Woot!

Deb said...

Congratulations Mulie! I'm so glad you are all okay - can't wait to see pics!

Good morning everyone!

Kaytie - I second your PSA on the dogs / 4th of July. We have to give our Hannah Dog doggie downers for fireworks *and thunderstorms! Fireworks go on and on around here for week before/week after the 4th, so it's especially nerve racking for her. She totally wigs out. Well, she's a jack russell, so they are balls of nerves to begin with, imo.

Shannon said...

Congrats Mulie and Mr. Mulie. Sorry about having to do the c section but thankful it is all over for you both I was getting a little worried. Now it is time to start the day and take the hubs to work.

T@iy@ said...

Good PSA! Our Aussie stood up sleeping with his nose on my feet this early AM during the thunderstorms. Poor guy was so scared. Every time I went downstairs to pee he was right on my heels and wouldn't leave my side.

Robin in Montana said...

Congrats, Mulie! Can't wait to see your beautiful little girl. :-)

Muliebrity said...

I really need to pee and have not been able to since they took the catheter out. I want to PEE!

T@iy@ said...

Not fun, Mulie. :( Hope you can go soon!

Margo said...

Mulie - stop being selfish and thinking about your own needs - when are we going to see pictures of the baby :)

Robin in Montana said...

I agree with Margaret, Mulie. You can pee any time, but we need pictures *now!

Angie said...

Can you eat all you want now, Mulie?

Anonymous said...

<---- wants to see pictures of Muliette too! :-D

Hi all!

Angie said...

Lordy, this place is quiet today! I've been actually having to work for a living today. What's your excuse?

Deb said...

busy, busy busy, SW.

KaytieJ said...

Mulie - Saw your baby pics! She is beautiful!!!

Shannon said...

Mulie glad that she is here....saw her pics....I am in love. She is beautiful.

Lisa said...

Mulie, same here and she *is absolutely beautiful! I hope you both are doing well, that you've peed a flood and had a cheeseburger, too. :-)

Lisa said...

Such a quiet day...we must all be exhausted from our birth experience.

Anonymous said...

Where are the pics??! I wanna see!! I don't see anything new on Mulie's twitter!

Anonymous said...

Oh and speaking of pics......not as exciting as Brand New Human photos, but I just posted a pic of Chris' haircut on Twitter!
http://twitter.com/care4chris

Obvs we were going for "low maintenance"=)

I will be posting another pic later....(at his request, once he's less "sweaty & gross") of Chris holding a present that arrived today. Regardless of what I think about what.... *anyone.....said.....the present is beautiful and Chris loves it.

Lisa said...

Aww, Chris looks so darn handsome and *so much better from those early pictures. That does my heart good to see! I know what the present is, too. Hehe, it's a really good one!

Anonymous said...

Hello, Daisies! I think everyone has been working as hard as I have been today :)

Hooray for Mulie Jr!

KaytieJ said...

:::waving at Chris and Elisabeth::: Dang Chris! You may be puffy but those blues are blazing... Good to see you!

Can't wait to see you holding your gorgeous present!

Erin said...

Mulie- so cute!! She looks to be a blonde already.
Elisabeth- they are on the husbands blog. I followed it stalker-style from the twitter feed.

Life full of bRATS said...

Hey.anyone here?

KaytieJ said...

I'm in and out a bit Kay. Are you home, yet?

twirldawg said...

I'm here.
I'm looking for trashy books to read and watching trashy tv.
Currently enjoying any show with Jersey in the title.

Angie said...

Jill, you didn't watch Jersey Shore, did you? That's trashy even for trashy TV! I'm in good TV withdrawal, though on the bright side I have a lot more time in my day to do stuff. Tonight I made the triple berry margaritas for supper club Saturday night. What I love about the recipe is that you can make them ahead and freeze them. Then just slush up the freezer bag until you can pour them in glasses.

twirldawg said...

No, Jersey Shore wasn't my thing. I love Real Housewives of NJ though.

Anonymous said...

Posted a picture on Twitter especially for AP, KayJ, and the rest of Chris' daisy cheering squad: http://twitter.com/care4chris

He absolutely LOVES this. I'll take a better picture tomorrow so y'all can see the print better (it stormed like a mother here today and was much darker in the front room than normal)

Seems very quiet here tonight. Chris says everyone obviously heard his giant fart, and he duly apologizes for apparently literally "clearing out the place".

So, I wanna stalk Mulie. Where is her hubs' blog??

Anonymous said...

Chris says we need An Activity, and seeing as he still can't be trusted with safety scissors.......we're gonna play "the blankest I ever blanked was ______".

In this case....Chris votes for "the weirdest place I ever got fun-kay with a spouse/partner/significant other was ________".
R

He says the weirdest place he ever got biz-zay was on a luggage cart WHILE it was moving.

Me? I am less exciting. My hubs & I got all amorous in a waterslide landing of a rich buddy's opulent pool/slide setup.

Anyone else? Hate to think we're the only ones who can back up this interest in trashy tv with humiliating true stories!

Muliebrity said...

Good evening (morning)! My boys came up early this evening to see their sissy and they just adore her. I am really going to have to watch Logan though. He has already claimed that she is HIS baby and thinks he can hold her whenever he wants!

I was finally able to pee after about 7 hours of being off the cath and have been able to do so ever since. I also did the post surgery milestone....passed gas!

Lisa said...

I couldn't really see the picture but Chris cleans up mighty fine. ;-)

Sorry I'm late with the new post...we decided to watch Pan's Labyrinth for the 439th time at midnight. I love that movie.

I'm just going to transfer Chris' question and y'all's responses over to the new post in a few minutes..we can't let this get lost.

Does anyone know a faster way to resize (by pixel size to cut down on load time) pics that won't involve me opening Paint Shop Pro and waiting for it to load on my ancient computer? Any online programs I can zip into and do it?

Lisa said...

Yay for peeing and farting, Mulie! Any word yet on when you two will be sprung?

And hi, Kay!
