I'll take a lei!! (FIRST lei!!) woo hoo or is it Lei'd first? hmmmm

This makes me miss Island Baby! I often wonder how her son is... I hope he is ok!!! anyone know for sure?

my mom had a date Monday but didn't realize it was a "date" until they were back home and he told her he'd like to "see" her again.. she said um, NO thank you!! They went to get an ice cream cone, and to a deep discount store... LOL she considered it going for ice cream and to the store with a neighbor ( guy in her building) He apparently considered that a DATE! My poor mom - she got a good laugh out of that - said the ink is not dry on her divorce and this guy isn't old enough or rich enough to qualify for her next "date"!! Good luck on your date Kristin!!!

and now I'm off to bed, Tay is coming tomorrow and we have to shop for a graduation party present for Saturday and a baby shower present for party on Sunday - and then we're having a big family bbq on Monday - and... keeping Tay overnight Sat. night...

Lisa said...

Hey, how come none of us knew about Kristin having a date??

That's so cute about your mom, Karen and I think her date sounds like fun, even if she didn't know that's what it was. ;-) And once again, I want to be part of your family!

I wonder about IB, too. I really liked her and hope they are well.

Deb said...

Aloha!

Congrats on the first lei Karen!

I miss IB too and hope the little guy has made a recovery.

Jill - woo hoo....did you post the deoderant paste and I missed it?

Busy, busy day "off" here, but it's supposed to be a gorgeous day here today!

Deb said...

P.S. - I'm pretty sure the girl that is missing on the sailing around the world trip is from California. Pretty irresponsible - on her parent parts, IMO.

I agree w/Kaytie - out for their own fame, and they don't put into consideration if something goes wrong, who risks their life, pays for the rescue mission?

I do hope they find her though.

Deb said...

Nevermind - they located her 2,000 miles off Australia (shout out to SG!)

Serial poster....out!

kristin said...

Morning ladies - love the date story Karen! Too cute!

As for me, well not really a "date", just out with friends, I think maybe I worded that wrong in my e-mail. I will respond later.

Off to get ready!

PJ said...

Morning anyone?

We've got incredible amounts of rain today. Plus booming thunder. CKanine is quite anxious about it. He's chosen to tuck his tail and wait to poop.

Off to get ready - catch you later.

PJ said...

Forgot - would anyone like to come and help me organize and clean my classroom today?

No?

I thought so. Argggg....

twirldawg said...

Richard woke me up too early this morning. He wanted to be nakie. Then he wanted to be a dog.
2 year olds are interesting creatures.

twirldawg said...

Homemade Deodorant:

5-6 Tbsp Coconut oil
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup arrowroot powder or cornstarch

Combine equal portions of baking soda & arrowroot powder. Then slowly add coconut oil and work it in with a spoon until it maintains the substance you desire. It should be about the same texture as the store bought kind, solid but able to be applied easily. You can either scoop this into your old dispensers or place in a small container with lid and apply with fingers with each use. After applying the product, you can just rub the remains into your hands as a lotion! This recipe lasts about 3 months for two people with regular daily use.

I added some lavender essential oil as well (just a few drops) but if the scent bothers you or you might have a reaction to it you can leave it out.

Margo said...

The picture of Richard passed out on his floor is so cute.

Sandy said...

Morning! Do I get a t-shirt that says "I got lei'd at Daisies"?

KaytieJ said...

Morning!

Jill - Thank you for the recipe! Did not realize it was that uncomplicated to make.

Deb - Yes, they found her off Australia - which is wonderful. I do hope she is ok. I guess I get bitch of the year award, but it just fries me.

Karen - Liked hearing about your mom's date!

Sandy said...

Morning Kaytie, this girl is different from the one I was thinking about.

Sandy said...

Hello...tap, tap? This this thing on?

Having a small pool party today for C. Fun Times! I kid because it is a great group of kids she invited.

Snacks, drinks and pool. She is so excited. Oh I really like the fact that she requested brownies instead of cake or cupcakes!

Robin in Montana said...

Morning!

I hope your pool party goes swimnmingly (ha) Sandy and that C has a *great time!

Has anyone else read Dawn's blog with the video of Taylor's graduation?
<---bawlified. :*)

KaytieJ said...

Have a great pool party day Sandy! And isn't a wonderful feeling when your kids have a good group of friends?!

Lisa said...

'Morning, everyone!

I'm afraid to check Dawn's blog...I think Taylor is just adorable and I don't want to cry. Seeing that might do it for me. :-/

Sandy, I hope the pool party is tons of fun!

Blah day here. I feel like doing something exciting or fun but it's so damn hot and bright out there that I might scream if I leave the house.

Sandy said...

It sure is. I hope they remain friends at least throughout middle school. The school is horrible. C won't go there until 6th grade.

They have no control over the school. Water bottles filled with vodka, all sorts of terrible things going on there.

Robin in Montana said...

Taylor is absolutely *glowing with how happy and excited and proud she is. And Dawn is crying. :)

Sandy said...

::looks around and hides water bottle filled with vodka:

Robin in Montana said...

What's wrong with a water bottle filled with vodka?? Oh! You meant in *school! I'm with you now! :-D

(Disclaimer: I am kidding, for the lurking reading comprehension impaired.)

Anonymous said...

Hi everyone!

I read that story about the teenage girl sailing around the globe. It was very irresponsible of the parents to even let her do that. I hope they find her safe & sound.

I think there was a teenage Australian girl who did the same a few months ago. Nothing happened to her but really? Sixteen year-olds should be at school, not sailing for months.

I'm old-fashioned.

Robin in Montana said...

Sandy! GMTA. lol

Robin in Montana said...

I agree about the 16yo.

Did anyone else watch the Oprah (I know, I know, :groan:) episode on Amanda Knox yesterday? I don't know how her parents handle it, at all.

Sandy said...

No Oprah here.

Lisa said...

"Water bottles filled with vodka,"

As opposed to, oooh, maybe Flipper thermos bottles?

*whistles*

Lisa said...

See, I would have totally let Jake do the sail around the world thing, but not alone. That's where I'd draw lines. If he went with an experienced sailor or two, I'd have been scared as hell but I'd have wanted him to experience it. Alone, though? Shit, I don't even trust him to drive a car alone now.

Sandy said...

Oh and since it's Kamehameha Day, I'm passing out grass skirts and coconut bras. You can find the Schlitz cooler near the Tiki hut!

KaytieJ said...

Hey Corinne! Any more finals?

Robin - I don't know how the parents deal with it either. And for the record, I do like Oprah...I just keep missing her show. Food Network or History something junkie.

Sandy - That is awful about the middle school being so out of control.

KaytieJ said...

AP - That is my point.

Robin in Montana said...

Kaytie - I like her, too, but rarely, rarely watch her -- it comes on at 5:00 here, and that's full swing kids/dinner/whatever. I just happened to catch a promo of it being about Amanda Knox yesterday and had it going while dinner was going.

KaytieJ said...

Robin - Did you get your horses back to the other pasture, yet. I know it was a PITA, but I loved your text pic of Jerry and your stories of him getting into all matter of things!

Lisa said...

Can someone make me a warermelon bra, please? Trust me, no one wants to see me in a coconut bra. Or a grass skirt, for that matter. I'll just wear Hawaiian print pajama pajama pants and a watermelon bra. Can I have my Schlitz with an umbrella in it?

Anonymous said...

AP - We can certainly make you a watermelon bra. I mean, if we can make coconut bras, we can make watermelon bras ;-D

Hi Robin, Kaytie & Sandy!

Kaytie - I still have three more finals (Information systems, political science & linear algebra)

Sandy said...

Most definitely AP!

Robin in Montana said...

Kaytie - yes, they are back at pasture. We've been over several times this week to mess with them, and part of their pasture is this big hill and if they're up there and I yell for him, he just comes trucking down the hill, legs all akimbo like a moose running and his big dumb ears flopping. No dignity there. lol. We're supposed to (finally) not get any rain this weekend, so hoping we can go ride on Sunday.

twirldawg said...

Vodka in water bottles? Yep, happens all the time in high school.

So does a student filling a coke bottle with whiskey and then puking in the hall way outside your classroom.

Sandy said...

I can see high school but middle school. I really must stop living in this gosh darn bubble.

Now I think I understand *why they do not ask for parents to volunteer up there. ::sigh::

Shannon said...

HAHAHA I am highly doubting that these things will fit in coconuts I may need one of those watermelon bras as well :)

Lisa said...

Ever the Capitalist, I will now be going off to build a little watermelon bra stand...

Sandy said...

Actually the watermelon bra is a good idea. It would be quite cooling on a hot day! LOL

Lisa said...

I wonder if we could snag some of the middle school vodka to spike the bras with? The possibilities *there are endless.

Sandy said...

I was just thinking about that.

Lisa said...

Sandy, I think we're on our way into forming a Hawaiian tourist porn empire.

Sandy said...

I think so AP!

Sandy said...

Well, I will ponder the Hawaiian porn empire while I make my house somewhat presentable and get some brownies in the oven. BBL.

Margo said...

Sailing around the world at 16 and then what? The recovery to go get her is still going to cost someone a lot of money. It's nonsense.

I received my Vintage Pearl necklace. Really cute!

Muliebrity said...

Baby is finally off the biliblanket and I need some nursing bras. That's all.

Shannon said...

Mulie needs a nursing watermelon STAT!

Robin in Montana said...

I feel like duke. That is all.

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - I bet that Vintage Pearl necklace is very pretty - not cute. And it will class up the watermelon bra :-D

YAY for Muliette being off biliblanket!

Corinne - reading what Finals you have left gives me a headache. Those are some toughies!

KaytieJ said...

Robin - I can *see Jerry runnin' for ya!

I keep hearing about warmer weather on the way. Sure hope so.
I lined my watermelon bra in fleece :-D

Robin in Montana said...

I hope ours warms up right behind you guys, Kaytie! I am *freezing. There was snow in the mtns. this morning. But it's supposed to hit possibly 81 on Sunday - you have no idea how badly I hope that is true!

I have on the coconut bra over my sweatshirt because the cold is causing some nippage!

Lisa said...

Mulie, that's great news about Muliette! Not so great about needing bras, but I bet I could put a drop-flap on watermelon for you. I will not, however, line any with fleece.

Robin, I'm sorry you feel like...ummm...duke. Think it's just meanness taking a toll?

Robin in Montana said...

AP - It was bound to happen at some point.

KaytieJ said...

Robin, I hear ya. Dh and I were talking snowmobiling on St. Helen's if it doesn't warm up this weekend. (Avalanche factor too big right now, though).

KaytieJ said...

What is "feeling like Duke?" I thought maybe Robin was strutting around in chaps like John Wayne :-D

Sandy said...

Lining watermelon bras with fleece, what?

Right now it feels like I'm living in Florida. I hate humid.

Robin in Montana said...

I dunno, Kaytie. Kelly always tells the girls,'if you're in there taking a duke, make sure you wipe, flush, and wash your hands,' so I take that to mean duke = shit. Which is where I am.

Lisa said...

Kaytie, I'm assuming it's another word for shit. I think I've heard people call shit "dookie"...or maybe it's "dukey". Or maybe she just wants to call us all Pilgrims and is shy about doing so. I don't know.

PJ said...

Picturing RiM in sweatshirt with coconut bra over it, chaps, sitting on the toilet with her laptop in her lap.

Robin in Montana said...

CK - you forgot the spurs and pink camo trucker hat.

KaytieJ said...

Ooooh! Gotcha. Sorry you are feeling that way Robin. Still wish it meant running around in chaps :-D

PJ said...

Oh yes, Robin - R U having some bowel issues, do you just like the view, or is that where get your best wireless connection?

Robin in Montana said...

YOu know, I don't *own any chaps. I need some, I think. :nods:: Those shotgun-style, kind, straight leg, fringe, and the butt cut out.

KaytieJ said...

CK! LAST DAY OF SCHOOL :-D

Robin in Montana said...

CK - For your *information, I am *not sitting on the toilet! Nor do I have any bowel issues! I am just achey and fevery and whiney. I do not, however, wish to discuss wehther the outfit description may or may not be accurate ... ;-P~~

KaytieJ said...

Maybe the proceeds from the watermelon bra stand can go for a pair of butt cheek chaps for Robin.

PJ said...

Robin - the Duke comment misled me. You are not duking, rather, you are feeling like duke, correct?

PJ said...

Kaytie - yup - and I'm taking a break to eat some lunch. A couple hours left to make a weak attempt at putting my room back together.

Robin in Montana said...

CK - Yup, just *feel like duke. No duking action.

'course, if I get the butt cheek chaps I'm going to need a tramp stamp, next thing you know.

PJ said...

Have not been to Mrs. McKinney's blog for quite a while. Saw a few things there that made me wish I'd continued to stay away.

So, I'm kinda old fashioned, you know. 3D ultrasound images on a public blog? I mean, I'm sure when the baby is born, it's gonna be cute, but these pics were scary.

PJ said...

Snuggle on down there, RiM. Feel better, damn it.

PJ said...

Gotta go back to work. Can you all weigh in on the 3D ultrasound pics? So I know if I'm just a bit too squeemish.

PJ said...

Not meaning I'd like you to go look at them - just the concept of posting them on a public blog.

Robin in Montana said...

CK - THey kind of squick me out. But I tend to think of that sort of thing as somethign you share with family and close friends.

KaytieJ said...

CK - Private.

KaytieJ said...

Off to make, or attempt to make, Cuban food :-D

Shannon said...

CK I would like to tell you that you suck!!! I went to THE blog for the first time in forever. Then I got to looking at pics of the kids cause they are cute little critters (that is what gets me going through most blogs is cute pics :)) Well I ended up looking at the hay bale garden, pretty cool I think, and came to the audio recording she did of the kids in the car.

CAN I SAY I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF!!!! They sound like little birds chirping in there trying to get mom to give them her attention. I am a little of a sadist as you have all pointed out before and to me that brought back some serious memories of when mine where in that age group.

KaytieJ said...

Guess it should be Hawaiian food. Taro grosses me out, though.

Margo said...

She should have retinted the sonogram :)

Lisa said...

Kaytie, what exactly are you making?

I went to check out the 3D pictures and I'm not squicked out by them or anything. I guess I don't even really think they should not be shared publicly. If they were mine, I'd probably show everyone and put them on a blog, too. In the end, I just don't care either way since it's not my kid...lol.

Lord, it's been ages since I've been to her blog and I'm still unenthused about it. Comments are super-low, I saw. I wonder if that's why Israel (who I still think is cute) is having to go back to contracting work?

Anonymous said...

I'm with AP about the 3D U/S pics.

My mom thinks babies look like aliens on 3D U/S pictures ;D I don't. I think they're kinda cute.

Deb said...

Quick pop in here.....

Re: 3D ultrasounds.....I didn't have one, I loved the element of surprise of seeing that sweet face for the first time. Not kind of funky in a 3d pic.

off to get Lauren's hair chopped off for donation!

Margo said...

Aw - RV had to make his own birthday cake. I bet AP would have sent him a carvel fudgie the whale...

PJ said...

School's out for summer...

Corinne - I thought "Alien" too.

PJ said...

My daughter was born covered in vernix. She looked like something ET left here on earth by mistake.

We have one picture of her like that - and I only shared it with my mom and dad, and my sister.

Sandy said...

A pool full of tweens...OMG!! Send Hawaiian foo foo drinks fast! Party is going just fine.

PJ said...

That's great news, Sandy. How fun for C. And for you!

All girls?

Is B feeling left out? Or is he irritating his sister's friends?

PJ said...

Off to take my first nap of Summer Break 2010.

Muliebrity said...

I had a 3-D ultrasound picture and was going to put it on my blog, but was too lazy to scan it. I was thinking of doing a before and after post comparing the u/s picture to an IRL pic of the baby.

It is pretty common to post pictures of ultrasound pics on blogs, FB, etc.

Muliebrity said...

I had a ton of vernix in my amniotic fluid! It got all over me when they broke my water and I didn't get to shower till 3 days later. So nasty.

KaytieJ said...

Snooze Away CK!

AP - Made a Cuban Sandwich (or equivilant of)
french bread sliced in half
layered thin ham, chicken
swiss cheese
pickles
Melted butter brushed on outside.
Used to skillets to do a flat iron sandwich press

Yummm! Sounds simple, but they are so good.

Margo said...

Yea for school being out!

One of Dan's friends broke up with his girlfriend today. Dan asks me in front of the fellow if he can stay with us until he figures something else out. I said sure, you two can share our room and I'll take the in-laws suite.

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin around.

Muliebrity said...

Is Dan you S/O, Margaret?

Margo said...

He's my husband.

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - You make me laugh. What did Dan say?

Muliebrity said...

Dan's in the doghouse!

KaytieJ said...

Mulie - :::nodding:::

And I had read on your Twitter, I think, about no shower for 3 days. ((())) Muliette is so adorable. I am glad you shared her picture.

Margo said...

His friend said "I don't want to sleep with Dan he snores" - so I said "you'll get used to it, you just have to race him to sleep". I'll let him stay for a few days - it's just so leave it to beaver to ask something like that in front of me.

Muliebrity said...

he and his g/f will be back together before the end of the weekend anyway.

This baby is a freaking pooping machine!

KaytieJ said...

Margaret - That is why I laughed so hard. My hubby does that, and unfortunately, so does my son. Drives.me.bonkers

Mulie - Are you at the nose plug stage, yet?

Muliebrity said...

Thankfully, breast milk poop doesn't stink! We are just burning through diapers and I am dragging my feet on cloth.

Margo said...

That's a possibility too Mulie - they break up a lot. Are your other kids loving little Mulie?

Lisa said...

Kaytie, dinner sounds great! Jake's out so I'm indulging in my liver fetish aagin.

Deb, how was the haircut?

"We have one picture of her like that - and I only shared it with my mom and dad, and my sister."

And Margaret, I'd have made Israel any kind of cake he wanted. *nods*
CK, I wouldn't have shown this, either. No one needs to see the ick. Hope your nap was good!

Sandy, I'm so glad the party is going well. It makes me feel good for c. :-)

Lisa said...

Mulie, how are the boys doing adjusting to their new sister?

Lisa said...

Oh, sorry, I should have just let Margaret speak for me. ;-)

PJ said...

Hi AP,
Nap was, meh..... But I'm glad to have the time to take one.

My stomach and brain don't mind the regular ultrasound pics - it was just the 3D one that I found creepy.

We had to wait a few hours to name daughter - after she had her first bath. We couldn't see her for all the *cottage cheese all over her, to see what name she looked like. We had two names to decide between.

KaytieJ said...

AP - that was brunch. I am trying to talk dh into our local mexican restaurant. (they have delicious Cadillac Margaritas and shrimp wrapped in bacon there).

Deb - Did your daughter go through with donating her hair?

KaytieJ said...

Shannon and Robin - There is hope.
I see a twinge of blue sky through the clouds :-D
Hope you are seeing the same.
Still have my watermelon bra lined with fleece, though.

Muliebrity said...

Logan LOVES her. Like, to death. Always wants to hold her/love her/squeeze her and he shivers with excitement. It's cute, but I wish he'd chill a little bit. I can't trust that he won't try and carry her around. Hunter could care less. He doesn't want to hold her, have her on his bed, or be forced to interact with her. He will give her kisses and talks about her sweetly. He tells me when she is crying (like I don't know), but isn't exactly sure what to do with her.

Lisa said...

Funny thing I heard today. From a man, of course, but still funny. To stop the oil, all BP has to do is put a wedding ring around that broken pipe because once you put a wedding ring on it, it stops putting out.

Margo said...

Aw, little Logan. I wish so badly Hannah had a brother or sister. She's so nurturing and would love a little one.

T@iy@ said...

Hey Daisies. I just have a minute probably before the little one wakes up and wants to eat. :) Just wanted to stop in and say hi, though!

Muliebrity said...

Hi, Taiya!

Logan is very nurturing, but also a little $hit!

Shannon said...

Hey all.....let me tell ya there is nothing like a 10 minute drive taking over an hour.

But to answer Kaytie YES THERE IS SUN!!!! WOOOHOOOO Still a little overcast but by God there is sun out there.

I dont have an issue with ultra sounds hell I showed mine to EVERYONE I could get to look at them LOL

Mulie I love that Logan loves his baby so much.

KaytieJ said...

AP - :::pfffft::: thank goodness it was just water I laughed on, since I just showered :-D

Awwww...that is so sweet to hear of Logan.

Muliebrity said...

I posted a baby crazed picture of Logan on my blog the other day. I have more to post, but blogger wanted to be fruit, so I haven't been back. I need to kick this head ache so I can concentrate.

KaytieJ said...

Woohoo Shannon! "Here Comes the Sun"

And ya know, thinking more on it, If I were to be pg now, I just might show my little alien off to the world. Back then, I was just so shy about all that stuff. Who knows?

KaytieJ said...

LOL! Gotta run...son has SNL Betty White he wants to share :-D

Deb said...

Hi ladies!

Real quick - Lauren did it! 9 inches of hair - gone. Pics tomorrow. She loved it. Our friend who cuts our hair made an announcement to everyone that she was cutting her hair to donate it to charity. Lauren got all giggley, she loves her new short hair doo, and she feels great about who is receiving her beautiful hair. Surprising part? I went to pay and she told me whoever gets a haircut for donation is free!

Okay, I'm out. It was gorgeous out tonight, so 5 beers later, I'm goingto bed. Good night!

Sandy said...

C had a great time at her pool party. It went very well and all the kids were very well behaved.

Little B kept up with the big kids and is just plum tuckered out.

Off to hit the shower because I smell like campfire and Off.

Muliebrity said...

I am currently obsessed with yurts.

KaytieJ said...

The idea of them, or the fact you can roll it up and pack it off to another place?

Muliebrity said...

I am obsessed with the idea of simple living, but with more of a Fight Club feel.

Lisa said...

Deb, that's so cool about Lauren's hair and I bet she looks great!

Mulie, why would one live in a yurt if one had the choice to not live in a yurt?

Muliebrity said...

Good question, AP. I have the urge to do something "big" and "life changing". Sigh. I can't help but think that people who have no choice but to live in a yurt, would find it crazy that I would be willing to move out of my 3,000 sq ft, brand new house to live in a glorified tent.

Lisa said...

Mulie, you just had a baby. That's big and life-changing! Now that I've said the appropriate thing *grins*, I get that feeling. Mine just never involves yurts. It involves living on a residential ocean liner.

Lisa said...

Wouldn't you hate not having proper plumbing?

PS: I'm lazy and fighting a summer cold. I'm just going to let us celebrate Kamehameha Day one more day.

Muliebrity said...

My yurt would have a bathroom and a kitchen.

Lisa said...

Well, good morning everyone.

Mulie, then you want a permanent yurt?

Sandy said...

Good Morning to you AP!

A yurt would be a nice place to hide when you need to hide.

Lisa said...

Hi, Sandy! And it seems to be a yurt would be hot and bugs could get in. I'm just not embracing the whole yurt idea, obviously. ;-)

PJ said...

I'm not on board with the yurt thing, either, AP.

SW - where have you disappeared to?

Lisa said...

CK, we'll just find a nice Airstream. That work for you?

PJ said...

Sounds great, AP. I'm in for that.

Margo said...

It is HOT outside!!!

I don't think I'd like to live in a yurt.

PJ said...

http://tinyurl.com/288wgcm

AP,
How about this one? It comes with Matthew McConaughey.

PJ said...

http://tinyurl.com/286wrts

Or we could just go visit here, and take in a futbol game.

Lisa said...

"How about this one? It comes with Matthew McConaughey."

I'm good with that, as long as he comes with Camila Alves.

But I really think you, me, Matthew and Camila need the polka-dotted one. I just love it. :-)

KaytieJ said...

Airstream Trailer Park on top a high rise? FUN!

Sandy said...

I'll do the Airstream with Matty but only if he's naked playing the bongos! ROFL.

Lisa said...

Wouldn't it be? I just know mine has to be girly, if I get my own. I want big cabbage roses and paisleys. And pink. Pink, gold and green, I think. CK, I'm thinking Matthew might not like that and he'll come live in yours. Or Kaytie's.

Margo said...

Here is my trailer at Christmas :)

http://www.vintagetraveltrailerart.com/Vintage%20Christmas%20AP.jpg

Margo said...

I could easily live in a trailer. I lived on my dad's boat one summer.

The local BP station had "family day" today. Moon bounce, food, etc. This is the same station that will never allow the kids to do car washes there and their gas is always higher than the other stations. Their timing is highly suspect...

Lisa said...

Awww, that looks so cheery, Margaret. :-)

Family Day? At *any gas station? Weird. BP station? Yeah, go take advantage of the freebies because they're sure going to cost us in the end.

PJ said...

Margaret - what a welcoming, homey, holiday trailer you have there.

PJ said...

Day 1 of Weight Watchers almost over.

Very crabby before I ate dinner. I almost expired. We had to skip working out I was so weak....

But we made it to the grocery store and have some more things I can eat.

I took the 100 calorie ice cream sandwich out of the box to have for dessert, and had to put on my bifocals out to see it. Not just mini. Micro mini and teeny tiny!

PJ said...

(Only kidding about the expiration - but I was a b*tch. Just ask Mole.

Lisa said...

CK, are you going to stick with it?

PJ said...

I sure am, AP. Just need to figure out how to spread the food out during the day.

Lisa said...

Good for you! I admire your determination, seriously.

PJ said...

It's time for me to take better care of myself. We'll see if I maintain my motivation.

Lisa said...

I bet you will. Sometimes we just reach that point and we're ready. It sounds like you might be there.

Muliebrity said...

A travel trailer is my first option! I am in love with these people (but she is kind of getting on my nerves since she started "hooping"). http://www.happyjanssens.com/about-us/

Muliebrity said...

I don't ever remember feeling hungry on WW, CK. I am sure it will work for your though! I lost over 60 lbs on WW 8-9 years ago and kept it off until I had kids.

twirldawg said...

I really need to do WW.

No desire to live in a yurt or an RV.
Considering the weather lately I'd like to live in the pool. Even R declared it too hot outside.

Oh and my child has turned into a nudist. He hated being naked until recently. Two days in a row he has woken me up at the crack of dawn asking to be "nakie".

PJ said...

Hungry again.

For all you Target shoppers, you can stack manufacturer coupons with these printable Target store coupons. I was able to take almost $5 off a pack of diapers today and they paid me to buy some wipes.

CK, Go drink some water or eat some carrots or something. Air is also pretty tasty when you sprinkle some sea salt on it.

Mulie,
You probably got more points than I do - the older you get, the fewer you get.

But yea for you losing 60 lbs! I'm going for 15-18.

Can I just sprinkle the salt right into my mouth?

If I was breastfeeding, I'd get 10 more points.

Anybody need a wet nurse?

My experiencing breastfeeding this time has been so different. My milk came in 4 days earlier, my boobs are much smaller, I an not nearly as hungry, and my nipples hurt like hell. You might want to reconsider your wet nurse offer, it's not all it's cracked up to be.

And now I'm letting down. That is so annoying and slightly painful.

Mulie,
I had gigantic breasts of steel the first time around. My mom felt SO sorry for me. They were so swollen, I had to sit in hot water in the tub and express some milk before the little guy could even nurse.

Second time, not as rough.

Sorry I made you think/talk about it and let down.

It's not your fault, CK. They let down yesterday in the drive-thru at Wendy's and the baby was at home. They have a mind of their own.

Is it really a full moon?

Muliebrity said...

Never mind. Someone of FB is on crack. It is a new moon. *putting my wallet away*

I"m going to eat some more carrots and go to bed, Mulie.

Sleep well - snuggle that beautiful little baby of yours.

Good night, CK. I gave her he first bath tonight, so she smells so sweet! I just love her, but my boys are being such monsters!

Muliebrity said...

I still love the boys, just wish they would stop trying to kill each other.

Margaret! I did not know you lived on a boat. We did that for several years and I miss it! Hope to do it again some day!

** new post up **

I think Mulie should threaten her boys with God.
