Words I never thought I'd say, but...

...Louis Farrakhan *rocks the house here.

Interesting note:  Yesterday, youtube.com was removing this video as hard and fast as they could, citing spam, scam, and other distasteful things that were in violation of their terms of service.  I found it on youtube tonight but just in case it disappears, it can also be found here:  http://tinyurl.com/4bfzl9u (scroll down to the video)

It makes you wonder who pressured youtube to remove it initially, doesn't it?  I know it's long but it's worth it, I promise. Enjoy...and hopefully discuss.

Wait... did Lisa just wonder if a dog could impregnate itself??? Talk about ooging me out!! LOL along with the hairy man/girl lactating boobs, I will have nightmares!!

I will be back in the morning. Grandson spending the night with me and my typing makes him squirm and toss and turn and I do not want to wake him up!!!

Lisa said...

I've wondered worse things. ;-)

Enjoy the grandson time, Karen. All this stuff can wait compared to that!

I just read that Elizabeth Taylor died.

It's Robin Again said...

Morning all! Have to work today, so I won't be around, but wanted to say hi. Try to keep the dog impregnation conversations for a time when I can give my invaluable (snort) input.

Shannon said...

I woke up to that news pretty much Jill. It is amazing because honestly I thought she was closer to 90 if not older but she was only 79.....but she did have an awful lot of health issues.

Robin I can only hope that the convo on that will stay on pause :)

Tammi said...

Lisa loves me...Lisa loves me...:)

That's all I have, still in shock. LOL!

Tammi said...

Shannon...I did too. When they said only 79 I was shocked.

Shannon said...

Tammi I could have sworn she was battling Betty White in the age dept...and to find out she is like 10 years younger just blew me outta the water.

Guess it shows what is old for one person is young for another

Shannon said...

So last night my roommate pointed out quite the contradiction with different websites. He was looking at news with the reactors in Japan and one site said that things were calming down (AP) and another posted 7 minutes later said that things were getting even worse and that the govt of Japan were getting extremely worried about what was going to happen (Reuters)

Kinda interesting how you can get two totally different news stories about the same thing.

Lisa said...

Hi, all! And Tammi, shut *up. ;-)

I thought Elizabeth Taylor was much older, too, up around 90. Not to be disrespectful of the dead, but she sure looked it.

Shannon, it is amazing the differences in info...Reuters is one I tend to trust most in all things, though. Time and time again, they've proven (to me, anyway) to be very accurate.

Shannon said...

You know Lisa when it comes to news I tend to read/listen to at least 2 sources and then find the truth somewhere in the middle.

Lisa said...

Well, *damn. I'd bitch at y'all for not posting (11 comments??) but heck, I didn't either. This is not an auspicious new beginning, is it? :-P

Anything new at MWOP? Disqus kills my old computer but I'm nosy.

Shannon said...

Oh GAWD do I even start LOL

Yes please do.

Shannon - come back and tell!! I can't get comments to load once there are more than like 200.... but who in the world is the old friend.... Do tell!!

It is back to being cold and I do not like it!!

KaytieJ said...

Shannon - I don't even read MWOP or giving a rat's hiney what is going on over there - however, now you have me biting my nails! Get back pronto, girl friend!

Lisa - I would have posted, but my mind froze up at Erin's neighbor's Dual Purpose Dog.

twirldawg said...

Shannon don't leave us flapping in the wind here! You better come back and talk.

KaytieJ said...

Hi Jill!

Heading over to Voodoo Donuts to get Shan's backside here. If we are late, we got sidetracked with the Maple Bacon Bars.

twirldawg said...

Hey Kaytie!

You guys need to bring enough donuts for the class.

So is the MWOP2 person our "friend" from Texas?

Lisa said...

Shit. Shannon teased and left. I was able to get in a bit yesterday or day before and read that MWOP3 was someone named Kelle and everyone seemed to know her but I don't, at least not by that name. I'm not even sure that's accurate or just talk over there. I noticed, too, when I can get in, that OHIH still gets brought up a lot so I wondered if this Kelle was someone we knew from there.

Well, crap. Went to Voodoo and no Shannon, but ate a boatload of Maple Bacon Bars. I am now in a semi coma.

Probably not the popular view, but JM bores me stiff.

Any other suggestions for Bloggers?

KaytieJ said...

Ooops -
Shannon we were cross posting! <---wonders if there is a dianosis for that? LOL!

Lisa said...

Well, help me out here...what's BWOP and got a link? Maybe I'll get an invite and find out all the dirt on you. :-D

Oh, *well, if I can get in, I'll follow her!

Lisa said...

Nope, can't get in. That makes me sad.

Your husband was in prison? The hell you say.
Mine was a convicted felon (it takes a unique and interesting person to commit an act of terrorism in Iowa, I think) but never actually went to prison, just county jail for a few days, and I left him in the end anyway, so really, I think that makes me better than you. Don't you? :-D

Shannon said...

LOL why yes I think it might since mine wasnt a terrorist he just beat the shit out of a guy that kept smacking his kid upside the head...two year old mind ya.

I think I could be devastated by I think I have to go to bed....and really I find it hilarious that she always brings that same thing up....UMMMM HELLO IT IS ON MY FREAKING BLOG...not exactly shit that I have hidden LOL

KaytieJ said...

Bullies Without Pity? Nope, can't get in - it's private. Ummm.....I'll just hang out here with the pups off the porch and admire the big dogs :-D

Lisa said...

Watch close and learn, Grasshopp...uh, Kaytie. ;-)

G'night from here, too. I'm going to bed maybe I can read BWOP tomorrow!

Well, that's 5 min. of my life I will never get back.

It's Robin Again said...

Not that anyone asked *me, but I think if this little blog stands a chance of getting up and running again there's going to have to be *somethign else to talk about other than the whole "WOP" bunch. If you aren't personally involved with, or ever have been, it's incredibly ... I don't have a word. Boring. Stupid. Childish. Huh. I guess I had three words. :-D

Anyway.

That's all I got.

twirldawg said...

RiM I agree.

So what's for dinner ladies?

It's Robin Again said...

Jill - Well. Homemade (we *are counting Boboli crusts as homemade here) pizza - one with pepperoni and pineapple and red sauce; one with ranch sauce, grilled chicken, bacon, olivs and artichokes.

What are you having?

It's Robin Again said...

olives. with an 'e'.

twirldawg said...

Your pizzas sound delish.

I had pasta on the menu because it's Friday/Lent, but I found out this morning that it's a feast day rather than a fast day so meat is ok.

Did you know that Jesus was conceived today? Or something like that.

It's Robin Again said...

Also, in spite of my non-interest in "WOP" stuff, and my in general boredom (shared with Kaytie) over JM, the *heck with the RV? Where'd they get the moolah for that?

It's Robin Again said...

I did not know that...

We're having spaghetti with the 5-minute bread tomorrow. Any time we have all 4 kids, menus are planned to the last detail so no arguing ensues.

T@iy@ said...

Morning.

I had to make 456.8 million phone calls this morning, so I am sucking down the coffee like it's going out of style. I think I am done now, at least. If my husband texts me and reminds me of one more call I have been procrastinating on I might just have a mental breakdown, though. :)

Umm.. Other than that I have about nothing. I got a pickle crock at an antique store for $8 a couple of days ago! I desperately want to make crock pickles this summer, so it was a super-happy purchase! :) And so cheap.

It's Robin Again said...

Taiya - how do you make crock pickles?

T@iy@ said...

I am *supposed to be grocery shopping, but I am feeling lazy and not wanting to. If I don't we are going to have some toilet paper-related issues, though, so I guess I need to get on that. In a while.

twirldawg said...

Um, I'm going to need you to elborate on crock pickles please. Thank you.

T@iy@ said...

Oh, geez, Robin. Ask me a complicated question. ha! I would have to get the book. I know you make the brine, you wash some oak leaves, and you put it all in the crock. You put a plate on top and hold it down with a jar so the pickles stay submerged. Then you do some other stuff and they sit around for a couple of weeks and *voila! Pickles. If you want the recipe i can get it and post it. In a while. :D

T@iy@ said...

::grumble grumble:: hang on. I'll get the book.

:D

T@iy@ said...

Do you want the recipe or just the general idea?

T@iy@ said...

Once they are fermented properly they can store in the fridge up to 6 months, or you can can them. That takes away the good probiotics, though, so that depends on what you are looking for, I suppose.

It's Robin Again said...

The general idea is fine - I can look it up. I've heard of it, but never really knew. Hmmm, will have to look into it!

My failed attempt at straw bale gardening? That spot is going to be taken over for the chicken (help me!) run, so my only growing of things this year will be the hanging tomatoes. I definitely want to can this year again, though - I've missed the last two years.

T@iy@ said...

Robin- Let me know if you want me to email it to you. :) It's really a great book, and I'd trust the recipe. Some of the ones online freak me out. Plus I love the oak leaf for crispness thing.

It's Robin Again said...

Also, Taiya - do you know this website:

http://mennonitegirlscancook.blogspot.com/

There's a coconut cake down a few entries that you need to make and tell me about. lol. The cabbage rolls right above look good, too.

It's Robin Again said...

I don't think there's an oak tree within 300 miles of here, lol. I'd have to have something else. But sure, email me the recipe!

T@iy@ said...

Well, I bookmarked that page. No one needs a cake for a while, darn it! We are all birthday -ed out around here. Until mine in July, and my cake is going to be dark chocolate mint. Those cabbage rolls look *awesome! I might be making those tomorrow for dinner.

It's Robin Again said...

I want to try cabbage rolls - have never made.

Lisa said...

Hello! Man, Jill, I agree about that being a waste of a good 5 minutes. How dry was that to read? I think maybe you have to be funny to really pull off these WOP blogs well, though. Now, I'm not like Robin and others, I still have an interest in all the WOP drama and own it but I'm also *very good with talking about other stuff.

Taiya, I wish we had good antique stores here...I guess because our area is so new (relatively speaking, anyway) there just isn't much by way of antiques at reasonable prices that I'm aware of. Most is brought in from other areas and they want an arm and leg for everything. I'm very jealous of your finds!

"Did you know that Jesus was conceived today? Or something like that."

I did not. This was a big day for God, then, huh?

Dinner here is stupid Nutrisystem for my fat ass and pork chops with friend potatoes for Jake. We'll share some spinach. I know, it's exciting.

T@iy@ said...

I'm sad for you on antique stores, Lisa. It's so fun and they are everywhere here!

Well, I have to drag my butt to town and get shopping. Or give my kid a nap, or something productive.

Later!

It's Robin Again said...

Friend potatoes. Huh. :-D

KaytieJ said...

:::picturing Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head holding hands:::

Lisa said...

Considering the whole Nutrisystem thing and how much I miss potatoes, that was a Freudian slip, I guess. :-P

Shannon said...

I went ahead and deleted my posts about the MWOP stuff and will be sure to keep my topics pinned down to things of bigger interest such as the weather and dinner from now on sorry to have been so out of line.

Lisa said...

*sighs*

I said I wanted to read it. Don't I count? :-(

It's Robin Again said...

Oh geez, Shannon. Give me a break. And .. yeah, that's about as polite as I can be. Feel free to talk about it - I don't think it'll survive here based on dinner and weather, either. @@

It's Robin Again said...

I can go back and delete my "bigger interest" dinner discussion if that will help. For fuck's sake. For those of us who didn't choose to get involved in the whole JM/WOP fuckery, it's impossible to follow, and there are umpteen blog sites out there already devoted to the constant tracking of all things JM and WOP. So, I get that it's important to some here, and please don't take my opinion as instruction to delete - just saying it holds zero interest for some of us, so other things might be of interest.

Lisa said...

I went and looked at JM's RV thing. By the way, you can access her blog here http://feeds.feedburner.com/mycharmingkids/FlYV
without giving her clicks. Soooo, my guess is they've lost that house. I mean, seriously there's no way she's made enough lately to afford it. As long as she blogs, though, they may be able to afford the lease payments on that RV with her photography. Lest she think she's clever and unique in blogging about living in an RV, though, these people have been there, done it and moved on. http://fuhkauifamily.blogspot.com/

Tammi said...

Hello?

Lisa said...

Girl fight.

Lisa said...

Hey, Tammi. Robin and Shannon are fighting - my money is on Shannon.

Tammi said...

Since I don't know Shannon, I will go for Robin...LOL

Don't make me get involved...I am in one of *those moods...LOL

Tammi said...

::::click, click, click:::: yeah, that's my nails on the table....

It's Robin Again said...

There is no fight - just a little perplexed by the dramatic deletion reaction.

Jill? Where are you and your damn recipes?? lol.

Tammi said...

Oh come on, it's a fight!!! LOL!! Don't back down...you can take her, I feel it! (just kidding with you two) :)

Tammi said...

Well, fine I will go watch Greys Anatomy! humph!

Shannon said...

Nobody said it was all that could be discussed or that everyone had to participate. I didnt want to drag down the site with my talk of things boring, childish, and stupid. I did not know that by discussing it that it would become any kind of a deal at all and apparently I was wrong.

Shannon said...

And I am NOT going to fight about it Lisa. Stating my opinion, will kick Robin in the shins, will let her pull my hair and will give her a big fat sloppy kiss on the cheek when all is said and done and drool over what she is having for dinner so there!!!!!!!!

Lisa said...

Well, shit. *Now who is going to keep me filled in on the WOP doin's?

<--apparently has a need for boring, childish and stupid things, lol.

It's Robin Again said...

Hey, please, continue to fill in about it. I'll just continue to chatter on my mundane drivel about everything other than people who post under 15 different screen names, devote incredible amounts of time to 'outing' people of their lives' messy details, and devoting their time and energy to trying to ruin JMcK while she is merrily cashing checks they make possible by continuing to obsess about her. And all the other by-products of that particular mess.

Lisa said...

See, we *can have it all. :-D

twirldawg said...

I'm hiding until this blows over.

It's Robin Again said...

::drags Jill out by the brim of her baseball cap:::

Shannon said...

Jill my dear it is already blown over....shin kicks and hair pulls completed

Lisa said...

Not me, I'm going to instigate as much as I can.

Except not right now...got housework and some redecorating planning calling my name. You won't poke 'em for me while I'm gone, Jill?

It's Robin Again said...

Yeah, it was kind of a complete failure in the way of girl fights. :::sighs::

It's Robin Again said...

If Lisa is gone, we could make fun of her for awhile. ::helpfully::

Shannon said...

Robin will still be getting visitors if shit hits the fan and we have to get the hell outta dodge and then she will be drowned in big sloppy wet kisses and dinner drool

Shannon said...

:nods:

Yes we can Robin as now she wont be here to defend herself

It's Robin Again said...

Only if you call first. I don't do unnanounced visitors. :-D

Shannon said...

HAHAHAHA I will be sure to give ya a call as we are heading for the hills :)

Tammi said...

Well, you guys blow! LOL!

It's Robin Again said...

Tammi - you start something. I know you can.

Shannon said...

:0 sometimes but not often

It's Robin Again said...

I do very often. :D

Shannon said...

So since you brought up the RV thing Robin did you read the post about it?

Did you see the last two lines of that post?

"I must admit: I cannot believe we are doing this. Packing up and moving into an RV without a clear vision of where this adventure will take us.

We may be half mad. But our other half? It’s full of an adventurous spirit that we are just about to allow to run free. You only live once, right?"

That sounds to me like they are moving out of their home with their undisclosed amount of time and such....who does that with 5 very small children?

Shannon said...

I am sure that your man is a much happier man for it then mine LOL mine whines about it often hahahaha

twirldawg said...

Ugh, ok, people have been trying to take down Mck for 2 years now. Bitch is still here.
The gossip is fun for me for about 5 min, then I remember why I stopped caring about it all. Heck, she had totally fallen off my radar until someone mentioned it on Facebook.
And our friend needs to get new material or a hobby. She says the same stuff about Shannon over and over again and has been on the anti-Mck train for two years now. Learn to knit, get a vibrator, something.

It's Robin Again said...

He does not complain ... lol.

I can't imagine moving into an RV with just me and one other adult, much less a pack of kids. It's nuts.

twirldawg said...

Oh, and Robin, I have no recipes. I can cook, but I tend to resort to easy to make stuff.

It's Robin Again said...

Jill - I don't have many recipes, either. I tend to view them as a place to start. :D

And that's kind of what I meant about the whole thing - everyone just dredges up the same crap over and over and over. ::yawn:: It's kind of like Pioneer Woman. She's full of shit, but people (myself included) keep clicking and keep talking about it, so she keeps raking in the dough. Whatever.

Shannon said...

LOL Robin I could see you doing the same thing as I would in about a week.....trying to jump out of the RV everytime there is a cliff or steep drop. I love my family but too be cooped up for that long terrifies me. We thought about going to Yellowstone a couple of years back and doing the RV thing but then I started panicking at the thought of it.

KaytieJ said...

Well, fuck. I missed my Blogging Fame and Dollars. Lived on a boat with an infant up to age 5. Frankly, I might get interested in JM's travelogue of living RV life with 5 kids.

Shannon - don't be pulling down your posts. Next thing ya know, anyone with a topic someone does not like, will get pulled. Now THAT would be really boring.

KaytieJ said...

This combines food and skin topic.

Trying to be helpful so Lisa can find something less embarrassing to put on her face and head
:-D

Tammi said...

Well, from what little I know, people were duped on that blog...whatever it is, and now they are irked, so they have to blame someone for being taken. And now instead of backing away from ambulance chasing, they just keep at it, all while bitching about the money she is making every time they click there? Well, DONT FREAKING CLICK! LOL!

Or, I could be completely wrong and you can tell me to STFU. :)

Have a nice day.

Lisa said...

"Ugh, ok, people have been trying to take down Mck for 2 years now. Bitch is still here."

Oh, I agree and I honestly don't really care about JM one way or another anymore. I admit, though, to having a weird little fascination with the whole phenomenon of trying to bring her down and all of the offshoots of that.

"Well, DONT FREAKING CLICK! LOL!"

Or just click the link that won't give her any money...

Kaytie, thanks for the link. Are you trying to tell my I shouldn't put generic Monistat 7 on my face anymore? :-P

Shannon said...

LOL I too have no interest in 'taking JM down' I find her ways amusing. I find her intriguing. I know she isnt going to go away or change. I pipe in with stuff in regards to her because she is entertaining and it just makes me wonder how on earth there are really people out there that just dont even think to question.

Karen said...

I missed a freaking girl fight??? Geeze!!

I also missed who said what about Shannon...

::glares at Robin::

I could care less about JM too - but following the drama is entertaining for a while sometimes!!

I almost had a grandson last night, but he's staying inside for a little while ....

Learn to knit, get a vibrator, something.

JIll that cracked me up!!!
