Happy Thursday morning, cha cha cha!

I wonder if  Chris can dance like that?  If not, he'll be able to if we help him.  Crafts for Chris

Good morning Daisy's! I was laughing out loud at the last hundred or so posts... too much laughing out loud at 2:40 am! Just got home an hour or two ago from Megan's - their cat is about to give birth, and Patti has never seen a live birth... so we went over there around 4:30 cause they were sure she was going to have the kittens any minute... we left there after midnight as momma kitty was still in her box, she is having contractions and pushes once in a while, but she wasn't ready to give birth "any minute" so we left... Patti wants to go back over in the morning! Tomorrow is our ONLY day without kids or something to do all day... and I was planning on staying home and getting some odds and ends things done... and cleaning our car. I hope mama kitty has her babies tonight, so that by the time we get up in the morning, it will be too late to rush over there!

I have alot to catch up on and seems like plenty of time to do my catching since everyone seems to be sleeping. Thats ok, hopefully I will have time to come on at some point tomorrow during the day!

Night Daisy friends!

Hey Karen- hope she pops 'em out tonight while you're sleeping. We've got a pregnant cat right now too and I am so nervous about her giving birth... scared to death she'll have trouble or something and I will freak out.

I, too, laughed and laughed @ y'all tonight. I was working and reading comments on Google reader. It was killin' me b/c I just read a few at a time and didn't have time @ work to log in and post.

Since it was in my reader, I got so confused about who was who (whom?). Still need to go back and look @ the pictures.

TuitieFruitie's head is probably spinning around in circles and her personalities are fighting each other trying to figure out the Daisy aliases.

G'night!

Karen said...

LOL Bookie! My head was spinning and I was reading it all at once, I cannot imagine reading as it was happening in real time and trying to keep track, I had to scroll up a few times to keep track of who was who!

I have had cats and dogs give birth and never had any problems except once, a german shepard having puppies, she had 7 and the 8th one (last) got stuck half out, she got out of her box, danced around for a few seconds and she had half a puppy hanging so I had to just reach up there and grab him, break open the little bag, and wipe his mouth/nose off with towels, by then she was back laying down with the other 7 and was cleaning and feeding them all... I put little #8 back in with her and she accepted him right away and started cleaning him too.... I was afraid she would freak and not accept him, but she was a good momma. I also had a cat once that did not want to give birth in the basket with the towels that I wanted her to give birth in... she kept having a kitten, and then picking them up and trying to relocate the family - that was not fun, she was determined to move! Other than that all the births were pretty straighforward. I hope she has them overnight so that we don't have to go sit and watch... but in a way I hope she doesn't, so that Patti can see her give birth, she already has 6 hours of sitting on the floor by the basket invested in these kittens and I know she really wants to see them be born!

I cannot stay away any longer, goodnight all!

Sandy - What a relief for you to have that meeting over with and also being pleased with the results!

AP - You are tough as nails and have the biggest heart, when all is said and done. Peace be with you and Ginger.

Margaret - I would like to donate the pendant I won from Robin's GiveAway to the Crafts 4 Chris Auction? Robin and Daisies, hope that works for you....Pay it Forward is the Daisy philosophy, no? :-D
:::planting flower pot firmly on my head:::

Taiya - ((((A))))

FT - Congrats on the win! Such fun to see kids excel!

Corinne - Son 1 and Only and I discussed the political going ons of Belgium this evening. I wanted you to know that even in this *Mayberry RFD Town and "public not private school", it was discussed in his Social Studies class. I shared with him the more details you provided. Light bulbs went off in his head and he is "chomping at the bit" to go back to his teacher tomorrow and discuss it in more detail. Thank you!

I went to catch up from after I left last night and *BAM* my head exploded. Thanks guys. I hadn't even had breakfast yet!
Busy day here but wanted to wish everyone an awesome day!

T@iy@ said...

That took me a minute to figure out. I did okay on the craziness from last night, but LB up there had me scratching my head until i got to the part about the giveaway. :)

Up early this morning. Unisom sucks. It makes me drowsy but it gives me this crazy dry mouth and weird coating in my mouth. Think I am just going to skip naps and hope that I get really tired by bedtime. Maybe. I like my naps. :)

Amy said...

Good morning you vile, hater daisies! I see I am in good company :)

Margo said...

Good morning ladies and germs. I have 4 preschoolers in my office dancing to pa pa pa pa pa poker faced pa pa pa pa pa poker face.

Margo said...

Is Kay a hemaphrodite?

Brie said...

Margaret, that must be a site to see. My preschooler prefers I gotta feeling by the black eyed peas!
Taiya, you can take Unisome when pregnant? How come no one told me? I've been waking up so stinkin early, I dont care how I feel when I wake up, I just dont want it to be at 3am anymore.

T@iy@ said...

Yep. Unisom is safe. So is Benadryl, which is also suggested as a 'sleep aid' because it is so mild but still makes you drowsy. i think I am going back to that, because this dry mouth thing wakes me up at night and stays all day. As well as the weird coating in my mouth. Blah. If it wasn't for the phantom itchy legs keeping me up I would just go without.

Mulie also said that they cleared her for melatonin which is an all-natural supplement. I haven't tried that yet, simply because I don't have any and don't feel like driving to the store. :)

T@iy@ said...

Can I just share how sexy I look today? I Should really take a photo. This 'outfit' deserves it. I have capris with a preggo shirt. Then I am wearing a pair of my hub's old socks with the toes cut out and flip flops. I have to lube my heels because they are cracked so bad and the OB wants to send me to a podiatrist if they don't heal up, so I have to put A & D on them several times a day with socks. Socks make me nauseous because they make me hot. Don't ask. I am just a bare foot person. So, yeah. Photo op central.

Maybe I could send it to fwop and they could post it next to my quote. :) Thanks, Brie. I am holding you responsible for my 'feature'. haha and Neener Neener, Bella!

i was so tempted last night to join the fun. *pouts* i was laughing really hard.

i'm just not good at pretending to be something other than a dinosaur (roaring and running around trying to eat zaya).

how is everyone this morning?

T@iy@ said...

TWG- I totally got the dinosaur before I got to the parentheses! :)

Good morning!

Morning you vile bitches.

so why are MckMama related sites getting all the love from FWOP?

Will she expose freeginger? How about BGGB? One of the bGgB girls is the admin at MWOP afterall.

Margo said...

Taiya - think back who you engaged on here and that's part of the fwop puzzle. The writing style's are not the same and it's not one person :)

Now the girls are dancing to madonna (lucky star) in my office - too cute! I'm waiting for them to calm down so we can watch Nemo - my FAV children's movie!

T@iy@ said...

What is bggb? and freeginger? and who are you Regina? I can't keep track... my head is spinning.

Hi all!

Taiya - Could I have an invite to your blog? My email addy is SGH_765 AT hotmail DOT com

Sandy - I was so happy to hear the IEP meeting went well! That is such great news :-)

You all are so funny. I laughed so much when catching up!

LadyBalls (ha!) - You're welcome. I'm trying to write a post about the whole situation in Belgium but I want it to be clear and concise so it's taking longer than I thought it would.
Anyways, if your son has any more questions, you can email me. :)

Good morning! You girlies are funny. Lol at the sweaty beaver.

Margaret- I hear poker face about 75 thousand times a day in my house.

Taiya- any news on A?

Brie said...

Taiya, I LOVE Melatonin! That stuff works like a charm and I kept forgetting to ask my OB about it. Sorry you got dragged into the fruitcake mess. I'm happy that I finally went private. I just had to take the time to send the invites out and explain to my family how to set it up. And your visual of how you are dressed today cracked me up. I am wearing a preggo T, Capri work out pants and a sleeping bra because anything else is too uncomfortable. God forbid I have to leave the house and put on actual clothing! Sorry about your feet, that is CRAZY! When did that start?
TWG, My son loves dinosaur kisses. Basically he leans in for a kiss and then screams(roars) in your face. It's funny the first few times....

Margo said...

Jill - etsy is littleheartshapedbox.etsy.com - I'm gradually converting my "sales" to my blog so there are some new ones I posted on there today - the blog is thefiveofhearts.blogspot.com.

Recorded (I still want to say 'taped') Happy Town and ANTM last night. I did not realize ANTM was so far into the season.

Also? This week's Woman's World promises me I can walk off 19 pounds by walking and drinking Slim Fast. I think the fish tacos threw me off that bus for today, but I will still get on my treadmill.

Okay, let's see..

Brie- It is fine. It is no one's fault but my own. I am completely kidding about assigning blame. i was trying to figure out who I 'bullied' and besides Kate Gosselin, I realized from her commenting on the blog over there that it was my fav, Kathryn. Whatever. I will own what I say or I wouldn't write it. My blog is private now, they can have their fun or whatever it is. I started my blog for me and my family/friends. Nothing has stopped that at all. It's really not a hardship at all.

I will have to try the melatonin, then! My mom has some and I was debating driving over and borrowing her kneader for her bread maker anyway so i could make a loaf of bread (obviously). I threw mine away once and haven't gotten a new one yet. I will just grab some of her melatonin while I'm there.

I will send out invites to everyone who asked. I'll scroll up in a minute and get to that!

As far as A goes... she is still in the small hospital. I wish they would move her! She is not my daughter, though, and I am not even friends with her mom, I just know her. It frustrates me because they said that "they are doing good so we will give them one more day" but they haven't come up with a diagnosis, she still has a 104 fever and nothing has changed! Her little body can only keep that up so long. I am really praying that they get her out of there today. i am biased anyway and don't like small town hospitals, but this one doesn't have a great reputation to begin with.

Lyrics to the fruit stand - Bonnie Tyler's "I need a hero"

Where have all the good mommy bloggers gone and where is THE Shaun,

Where's the street-wise Grammie to fight and give us a yawn?

Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery SUV?

Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of fruitie setting us free.

I need a hero, I'm holding out for at hero 'till the end of the night

She's gotta be strong and she's gotta be fast
And she's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero, I'm holding out for a hero 'till the morning light

She's gotta be sure and it's gotta be soon
And she's gotta be larger than life, larger than life

Oh, and Brie- my heels started hurting last Thursday and i had hubby look at it (since I can't really see/touch them at this point) and they are cracked pretty deep. I have been soaking them in Skin So Soft and putting vaseline and socks on at night, but the OB said to put A & D on several times a day or she wants me to see a podiatrist, which I'd rather avoid. Not really a big deal. It is a family thing, because my mom, her sisters, and her mom have had this happen to them.
